- 0:00You don't meditate to get good at
- 0:01meditation. We meditate to get good at
- 0:02life and part of being good at life is
- 0:05providing for a family and having
- 0:08partners and having great sex. Like this
- 0:10is so to like to deny yourself
- 0:12abundance, to deny yourself sexuality
- 0:14does not make you closer to God.
- 0:18Welcome to the Deja Blu podcast where we
- 0:21believe that living a life of magic can
- 0:23be the default.
- 0:25Join us each week as we playfully and
- 0:27authentically dive into the mysteries of
- 0:29life and explore what it truly means to
- 0:31be human.
- 0:32From spirituality, wellness and all
- 0:34things taboo, we don't hold anything
- 0:37back. So without further ado, let's let
- 0:39the magic unfold. Hello beautiful
- 0:42humans. Welcome back to another episode
- 0:44of the Deja Blu podcast. I have had
- 0:49an outrageous
- 0:51blast with this woman over the past four
- 0:54or five days since she has graced this
- 0:56entire house, the queendom, with her
- 0:58presence, her light, her magic, her
- 1:01enthusiasm and excitement for life, her
- 1:05intricate embodied storytelling that
- 1:07leaves me on the edge of every single
- 1:09word of what it is that she's sharing,
- 1:11her empowerment of the permission that
- 1:14she has given herself to breathe her
- 1:16magnificent into the space without
- 1:18saying sorry, while also maintaining a
- 1:21very deep level of empathy of her
- 1:22spatial awareness. That is such a gift
- 1:25in itself. So just by being in the
- 1:27presence of this woman, I have met
- 1:30deeper parts of myself that she doesn't
- 1:31even know about what we'll uncover on
- 1:33the podcast, saving the juicy golden
- 1:35nuggets for all of y'all. And uh
- 1:38before we even do this podcast, um there
- 1:40was like something that I was feeling on
- 1:42my heart and we just raged it out to a
- 1:44song and anytime Okay, so here was that
- 1:47was another thing. We had a dance party
- 1:49at the house the other night and
- 1:53for me dancing is such an incredible way
- 1:56of being able to get to know somebody's
- 1:57soul without a single word.
- 1:59The way that we choose to move our body.
- 2:01Now it's not about actually being a
- 2:03great dancer. It's more so the
- 2:04permission we give ourselves to feel.
- 2:07And that is very strong testament to me
- 2:09around
- 2:11the permission we give ourselves to feel
- 2:12in life in general outside of the dance
- 2:14floor.
- 2:14And so that shows me the amount of work
- 2:16that has internally been done to meet
- 2:19one's self, one's own edges and one's
- 2:22entirety of all of our emotions. And so
- 2:25when I had Emily Fletcher come meet me
- 2:27on the dance floor the other night,
- 2:29I'll tell you I'm feeling it. I'm
- 2:30vibing. I'm having a great time. And all
- 2:32of a sudden enters Emily stage right.
- 2:34And she just locks eye dead looks at me
- 2:37dead in the eye and she get down and up
- 2:40and sideways and everything in between,
- 2:42knee sliding across the room, riding
- 2:44brooms, doing performances, laughing,
- 2:46dancing. And the liberation that is
- 2:49flying off of you is just these
- 2:51invisible permission slips that just
- 2:53rest so deeply in the core of my being
- 2:55that they last so much longer than the
- 2:57present moment. And I've received so
- 3:00much medicine from the essence of who
- 3:01you are. So that's like my personal
- 3:02experience of your radiance and I've
- 3:06been able to witness the
- 3:08empowerment, the transmissions, the
- 3:10activations, the liberation of shame and
- 3:12guilt, what you've done for group
- 3:13settings at Burning Man and there's just
- 3:15been different spaces that I've
- 3:16witnessed your
- 3:18uh your activations at Arcardia
- 3:22uh and then it's just been these last
- 3:24few days that I've really actually got
- 3:26to know you you and you are consistently
- 3:30epic across the board. So it's not just
- 3:32who you are when you're standing on
- 3:34stage, but it's also who you are from
- 3:35the moment you wake up and we're doing
- 3:36our saunas and our cold plunging and all
- 3:38of the beautiful things in between. And
- 3:40so that's outside of my own personal
- 3:41experience, you're also a
- 3:43incredible author,
- 3:45um writer, entrepreneur. You guide
- 3:48hundreds of thousands of people around
- 3:50the world into a deeper
- 3:51Ziva meditation practice. Uh you host
- 3:54retreats all around the world. You have
- 3:57introduced so many people into deeper
- 3:59levels of sec magic and the liberation
- 4:00beyond their shame and their guilt. Uh
- 4:03you're also a mother of incredible son
- 4:05Jasper who is a soon-to-be
- 4:08paleontologist.
- 4:09Little known fact.
- 4:12And all around incredible sister, lover,
- 4:14muse and inspiration and mother to all
- 4:17so many of us. So Emily Fletcher,
- 4:19welcome to the Deja Blu podcast. I I
- 4:21don't think I've ever cried so many
- 4:23times in an intro. That was like three
- 4:25tear jerkers. Wow, Blu. Being seen by
- 4:29you is such a gift. I admire you so
- 4:32much. Your impeccability of spirit, your
- 4:36profundity of imagination and now like
- 4:38your playfulness that I am just starting
- 4:41to get to know is such an honor to be in
- 4:44the presence of. And so thank you that
- 4:45mirror, that reflection really means a
- 4:47lot to me. Thank you.
- 4:50It's been so It really is um rare and
- 4:53also such a
- 4:55such a beautiful gift to be met by a
- 4:56sister and not only be met by a sister,
- 4:58but be celebrated and cherished and seen
- 5:02and inspired by. And something that
- 5:04really stands strong for the way that
- 5:06you weave in spaces is that you are a
- 5:08curious person. You're interested.
- 5:10You're interested to ask really great
- 5:12questions. You listen intently to the
- 5:14response and then you reflect the beauty
- 5:15that you see, which I believe is a
- 5:16three-step process to melt the heart of
- 5:18anybody. And I don't even know if you
- 5:20knew the context of those three steps,
- 5:22which dropped in for me a few years ago,
- 5:23but the way that you weave in the space,
- 5:25I'm like, oh, she's picked up on that.
- 5:27Even though probably not have the
- 5:28context for it, but the way that you
- 5:30enter space, there's two ways, right?
- 5:32You're a very interesting human.
- 5:34However, there's two ways that we can
- 5:35present to the world. We can be an
- 5:37interesting human or an interested
- 5:39person.
- 5:40And I found that sometimes when people
- 5:42are very interesting, they then just
- 5:45talk about themselves all the time
- 5:46because they're interesting, right?
- 5:48There's a lot of stories to share.
- 5:50However, the magnetism is activated in
- 5:53the presence of somebody that's a very
- 5:54interesting person, but they're
- 5:55interested.
- 5:56And you 1,000%
- 5:59are an interested human.
- 6:01And so It's like how do you get to be
- 6:04interesting without being interested?
- 6:07I mean, well how do you get to be
- 6:08interesting without being interested?
- 6:10Interested, right? Like you have to you
- 6:11have to absorb the stories of others.
- 6:13You have to absorb the knowledge of
- 6:14others. You have to absorb the
- 6:15transmissions of others in order to
- 6:17become interesting.
- 6:18Right. Yeah. Uh
- 6:19100%. Yeah, I didn't even like really
- 6:21lace the two together, but that makes
- 6:23perfect sense. If you genuinely are an
- 6:25interested person, then it's because
- 6:27it's a byproduct of listening deeply,
- 6:29which is I think that's what you've
- 6:30essentially done for so much of your
- 6:32life as you've absorbed, listened,
- 6:33learned and then created your own
- 6:35version of and created your own
- 6:36fingerprint of. And also from the
- 6:38stillness of of your own latent genius,
- 6:41you've then been activating places and
- 6:43and and and pieces within others. And I
- 6:46There's something that I just really
- 6:47want to dive into straight off the bat.
- 6:50Is
- 6:52the way that you weave in the world hold
- 6:53doesn't feel like it holds much shame
- 6:55and guilt. Mm. And specifically around
- 6:57your eros, your pleasure, your pleasure
- 6:59practice of sex magic and what you've
- 7:01been speaking into recently.
- 7:03And I'm curious what your journey has
- 7:05looked like for you around the
- 7:07liberation of your own shame and your
- 7:08guilt specifically around your eros and
- 7:10your sensuality because the way that you
- 7:11walk into a space and the way that you
- 7:13claim your presence and the way that
- 7:14you're not apologizing for your presence
- 7:16is so inspiring to me and also
- 7:19illuminating where I'm still kind of
- 7:21shrinking a little bit.
- 7:22Mm. Um and so I'd love to hear a little
- 7:23bit about your journey. If Surely you
- 7:25didn't come out I mean maybe you did
- 7:27come out of your mama's womb just
- 7:29claiming that [ __ ] but like there must
- 7:30have been like an unlearning and a
- 7:31relearning along the way. Yeah, so
- 7:33actually the funny that you bring up
- 7:34coming out of my mother's womb because
- 7:36that my mom jokes that I was born on
- 7:38stage. There was actually like she was
- 7:40at a teaching hospital and there was
- 7:41like a whole team of nurses that that
- 7:43watched my birth. And it was actually
- 7:45recorded.
- 7:48And
- 7:50and and so but it was actually very
- 7:51dramatic cuz I was three weeks
- 7:53premature. I had a heart murmur and I
- 7:54had jaundice and they told my mom I was
- 7:56going to die.
- 7:57And and there was an audio tape of it,
- 7:59like a cassette tape cuz I'm
- 8:0143 years old. I was born in 1979. So
- 8:03they made a cassette tape recording of
- 8:05it. And I remember listening to it when
- 8:07I was a little girl and feeling like I
- 8:09probably should not be listening to this
- 8:11right now. Like I didn't really know
- 8:12what trauma was, but I was like, this is
- 8:14probably not a good idea to listen to my
- 8:17own birth, but I did. Um but I then I
- 8:20grew up Southern Baptist. Like I'm from
- 8:21Tallahassee, Florida. I grew up Southern
- 8:23Baptist and there was a lot of shame
- 8:25around sexuality, a lot of you know, we
- 8:28don't talk about that. Self pleasuring
- 8:30is a sin. It's just for a man and a
- 8:32woman. You only have sex after you're
- 8:33married. Like all of that. You know, the
- 8:35stuff that most people are swimming in,
- 8:37that conditioning and indoctrination
- 8:39that most of the world is swimming in to
- 8:41some degree.
- 8:42And I remember even at a young age like
- 8:44having this sweaty man in a khaki suit
- 8:47yelling from the pulpit telling me what
- 8:49I shouldn't do with my body and being
- 8:50like, that is not it.
- 8:52And then I got to college
- 8:54and I started studying musical theater
- 8:56cuz that was when I felt the closest to
- 8:57God. And so I was singing and dancing
- 8:59and acting.
- 9:01I loved it so much, but what I loved was
- 9:03actually the unity that was created in
- 9:05the people. Right? Like being on stage
- 9:07with a group of people dancing in
- 9:09unison, singing in harmony, all working
- 9:11towards this creative goal. Like that
- 9:14felt like divine play to me. But the
- 9:17thing I would always get cast as was the
- 9:18[ __ ] Like I would joke that I I'm so
- 9:21diverse, I could be an English [ __ ] a
- 9:22French [ __ ] a German [ __ ] an
- 9:24American [ __ ]
- 9:25Oh, the 50 shades of [ __ ]
- 9:28And so even though I I it was a
- 9:30character, it was roles that I was
- 9:31playing when I was dancing in my
- 9:33sexuality then. And then I got on
- 9:34Broadway. And I was on Broadway for 10
- 9:36years and I became world-class
- 9:39at making people want me.
- 9:41Mm.
- 9:42I was professional at knowing how to be
- 9:45wanted, to move every part of my body,
- 9:47move my eyes, like bring people in, be
- 9:51like the embodiment of
- 9:54this It's showgirl, right? And but I did
- 9:58not know want.
- 9:59I did not know my own desire until very
- 10:03recently.
- 10:04And so, you know, I was very much
- 10:06sitting quietly in a chair teaching
- 10:08meditation, speaking about neuroscience,
- 10:10framing the stuff as a high-performance
- 10:12tool, which I'm very proud of, but then
- 10:142 years ago, almost 3 years ago, my life
- 10:17really radically changed when I I asked
- 10:20for a divorce, and then 3 weeks later I
- 10:22met Layla Martin, your roommate, my now
- 10:25best friend, world-famous tantra
- 10:27teacher,
- 10:28and my cosmic lover Adam, and then a few
- 10:32months later I moved in with Regina
- 10:33Thomashauser, aka Mama Gina.
- 10:36And so all three of these people in my
- 10:38life have been these huge liberating
- 10:40forces, you know, just I mean, talk
- 10:42about walking permission slip, you know,
- 10:44like that they've dedicated their whole
- 10:46lives to deconditioning themselves and
- 10:47deconditioning hundreds of thousands of
- 10:50other people. And so I've had the the
- 10:52very good fortune of of intimately
- 10:54weaving with these people, and anything
- 10:56that was left,
- 10:59any shame, any conditioning, any stories
- 11:01left have really um transmuted over
- 11:04these past few years. So it's like I
- 11:05already knew how to tap into that eros,
- 11:08right? Like if I've been dancing with it
- 11:09my whole life. To be on stage and to be
- 11:10magnetic, you have to play with sexual
- 11:12energy, even if you're not doing it
- 11:13consciously. Like I watched Hugh Jackman
- 11:16in a Broadway show a few months ago, and
- 11:18I was like, oh, like now that I can see
- 11:20it, now that I can see sexual energy,
- 11:22like this man is a masterful. He's
- 11:25basically making love to 3,000 people at
- 11:27the same time energetically.
- 11:29That's why he's so charismatic. But I
- 11:32don't know that I consciously could see
- 11:34that before.
- 11:35So it's been this combo platter of like
- 11:37natural aptitude to tap into it,
- 11:41and then really good fortune of calling
- 11:44in and magnetizing great people.
- 11:47And
- 11:48I still have a lot of work to do.
- 11:50I still have a lot a lot of work to do.
- 11:55Well, from my own personal experience
- 11:56witnessing you guiding others in their
- 12:00self-pleasure practice and um activating
- 12:03the the frequency of pleasure in a group
- 12:06environment. So I come in
- 12:08from this
- 12:10I don't know, British boarding school
- 12:12upbringing, and you know how the Brits
- 12:14are, and really yeah, you did stiff
- 12:16upper lip. That that goes that goes with
- 12:18your your monogamous partner and
- 12:21everything else. That's not allowed,
- 12:23slut-shaming slut-shaming
- 12:26and um being called a [ __ ] and all
- 12:28these things like really basic stuff was
- 12:30just sort of like my childhood. So
- 12:32then when those labels are no longer
- 12:35present, well, who becomes the
- 12:37perpetrator? I do. So I didn't realize
- 12:41how much of a cage that I had placed my
- 12:43eros in until I was in the presence of
- 12:45you and Layla and Regina and being able
- 12:48to have the blessing of being able to
- 12:50witness you all, and then the way that I
- 12:52you've entered into my reality has been
- 12:55I mean, you're wearing you know, like
- 12:57like fully dialed, you're leading a
- 12:59whole group of individuals, like full
- 13:01power activation,
- 13:03um witnessing you on Aubrey Marcus'
- 13:05podcast and talking about sex magic,
- 13:07um and so from my perspective, you've
- 13:09been able to gift me what what Layla and
- 13:13Regina have gifted you, and so um the
- 13:16power of a woman that has reclaimed her
- 13:18sensual and sexual energy is A going to
- 13:21trigger
- 13:22and B going to liberate.
- 13:24But the trigger ultimately is that to
- 13:25teach us something. So I would love to
- 13:28hear a little bit about your journey
- 13:29around So in this reclamation, of
- 13:31course, there's an acknowledgement that
- 13:33there's so much more also to to go, and
- 13:35at the same time,
- 13:37how do you navigate the projections of
- 13:40shame and guilt that is placed on you
- 13:42because
- 13:44you're a powerful woman that's claiming
- 13:46her worth.
- 13:47So that's also going to bring up the the
- 13:49forces of jealousy and denial within
- 13:51others.
- 13:52What
- 13:55I almost
- 13:57I'm a little afraid to speak this
- 13:59because I don't want to jinx it, but I
- 14:02have had like the most charmed path so
- 14:06far.
- 14:08Like it has just been like golden
- 14:09footstep after golden foot. Like the
- 14:11path just keeps illuminating itself, and
- 14:13I don't know if this is outrageous
- 14:15bravery or just blind naivete,
- 14:18or if if the world is actually just
- 14:21changing frequencies and if that we are
- 14:23really on on the precipice of this new
- 14:26sexual revolution, which I think is
- 14:28actually the truth. Because I've always
- 14:30I've always been able if I have one
- 14:32superpower, it is being able to feel
- 14:35like what's next, like what's about to
- 14:37be the next thing. Like I started the
- 14:39world's first online meditation training
- 14:40in 2013.
- 14:42I had spent 10 months building it. I
- 14:44spent $25,000 building this course,
- 14:46which was more money that I had made in
- 14:48a year,
- 14:49and and I I 6 weeks leading up to it,
- 14:51and I did a call, my first sales call,
- 14:53and three people signed up.
- 14:56Like I made like $700
- 14:58on a $25,000 investment, and I was like,
- 15:01oh, no. I've made a horrible mistake.
- 15:04And my ex-husband, much to his credit,
- 15:06was like, stay in the game, stay in the
- 15:08game, like it's just not yet, not yet.
- 15:10And I feel like we're just And so I had
- 15:12that moment that moment with meditation,
- 15:14where like, why isn't everyone doing
- 15:15this? And now everyone is. Like
- 15:17meditation is so mainstream, there's
- 15:19millions of apps, there's millions of
- 15:20YouTube channels. And I feel like we're
- 15:22there with sacred sexuality. I feel like
- 15:25we're just on the precipice of people
- 15:26really starting to learn that we can use
- 15:28the most creative force that we have in
- 15:30order to manifest. And so to be a bridge
- 15:34in that feels like my role to play in
- 15:36this. So I've not actually received too
- 15:39much shame or blowback, but I've also
- 15:41been so far a little under wraps, you
- 15:44know, like I've been keeping it a little
- 15:46close to my chest sort of until the
- 15:48release of this new podcast that I'm
- 15:50birthing in the studio, and um and so I
- 15:54don't know if that blowback is coming,
- 15:56or if my ability to articulate sort of
- 15:59triggering esoteric concepts in a way
- 16:01that is both attractive and accessible
- 16:03is is um
- 16:05protecting me from that. So remains to
- 16:08be seen. Regina keeps warning me. She's
- 16:09like, Emily, like, are you sure? Are you
- 16:12sure you want to do this? You're going
- 16:13to get your heartbroken again and again
- 16:15and again.
- 16:16So far it's been like sunshine and
- 16:19roses.
- 16:21I 1,000% um I'm picking up on that piece
- 16:24around the depth of your claiming and
- 16:28the aligned essence of your belief
- 16:31is therefore not creating it to be as
- 16:33much of a prominent vibrational um a
- 16:37match to
- 16:40those that are questioning. Yeah. But if
- 16:43there's any aspect of our psyche, for
- 16:44example, like if we start a new program
- 16:47and we price it at X amount, and then
- 16:50there's this little voice inside of my
- 16:51head being like, who the heck do you
- 16:53think you are? How can you get away with
- 16:55that? What are you doing? So then I then
- 16:58for example, put it out, and then all of
- 17:00a sudden, who do you think you are?
- 17:03AND THEN IT'S LIKE, OH, YEAH, WAIT, WHO
- 17:06AM I? YOU KNOW WHAT? I'M going to give
- 17:07it for free. I'm going to pay you.
- 17:10You take my course, I'm going to pay
- 17:11you.
- 17:12Exactly, because it it's a match to the
- 17:14part within our own psyche. However,
- 17:16that's been one of the consistent things
- 17:18that I felt with your presence is this
- 17:20this depth of claiming
- 17:22that I'm just so fascinated by, inspired
- 17:26by, activated by, and um
- 17:29giving me the opportunity to look at
- 17:30myself of where could I claim a little
- 17:32bit more. Um I would love for you to
- 17:35just share
- 17:37you know, you talk about utilizing
- 17:39pleasure
- 17:40as an opportunity to manifest what you
- 17:42want to create. Love for you to break
- 17:43down what that you're talking about,
- 17:45right? I'm coming from like I I
- 17:47understand because I've also like been
- 17:49in the parameters of of these incredible
- 17:51what we call sex witches.
- 17:54Uh however, for those that are listening
- 17:55and tuning in that that got this on
- 17:57their headphones and they're on a walk
- 17:58with the dog, um and if you're on a walk
- 18:00with your dog with the headphones on,
- 18:02this one is for you.
- 18:04Um what is this? What is What is the
- 18:07ability to utilize that sexual sensual
- 18:09energy
- 18:11to
- 18:12direct it into a position that is placed
- 18:15with that attention and intention. Yeah.
- 18:17So I've been teaching manifesting for a
- 18:19long time, right? Like that's Ziva. It's
- 18:21mindfulness, meditation, and
- 18:22manifesting. And there are some key
- 18:24ingredients in order to be an effective
- 18:26manifestor. You have to have a clear
- 18:28intention, you have to have a burning
- 18:30desire, you want to take inspired
- 18:32action, detachment, like these are all
- 18:34the key ingredients. So when you start
- 18:36to add pleasure to that equation, you're
- 18:38basically supercharging
- 18:41the manifestation that's already in
- 18:42place. So
- 18:44to be very honest, manifesting is an
- 18:46advanced technique. I actually I
- 18:48at Ziva, I have people learn to meditate
- 18:50first to tap into the unmanifest first,
- 18:53to remind themselves that they are
- 18:55actually God pretending to be human
- 18:56first, to flood their brains and bodies
- 18:59with dopamine and serotonin, so that
- 19:00they have access to that visceral
- 19:02reality, that their bliss is only ever
- 19:04found inside. We do all of that first.
- 19:07Because if you're trying to manifest
- 19:09from a place of lack or need or less
- 19:11than, then we get into the I'll be happy
- 19:12when syndrome, and we start to have a
- 19:13death grip on our desires, and we think
- 19:15that those desires will make us happy.
- 19:17And that is um a recipe for not
- 19:19manifesting. It's a recipe for
- 19:21frustration.
- 19:22And so if if from prayer or art or
- 19:26however it is that you remind yourself
- 19:28that you are the ocean inside of the
- 19:30wave,
- 19:31um from that place, we simply ask the
- 19:33question like, what would I love?
- 19:36What would I love?
- 19:38And then we listen.
- 19:40We listen. What would I love? Not what
- 19:41do I need? Not what do I want? Not
- 19:43what's going to look good on Instagram,
- 19:44but like, what would my soul love?
- 19:47And then there might be something
- 19:48standing in the way of that, some some
- 19:50disbelief, something just a funk. And
- 19:52then we want to clear the channel,
- 19:54right? So that might look like
- 19:56a rage journal or punching a pillow or
- 19:58doing an angry dance like we just did or
- 20:01having a good cry. Like anything to just
- 20:03open up the vessel, clear the channel.
- 20:06Um reclaiming your pleasure. For for so
- 20:08many they've been shamed to think that
- 20:09it's not theirs, that it's wrong or
- 20:11dirty or bad. So some sort of a
- 20:13reclamation practices might be dancing
- 20:14in front of a mirror.
- 20:16Um and then from that space of sort of
- 20:19clarity on the dream, a clear channel,
- 20:22then we start to build the charge.
- 20:24Which you don't have to do this with
- 20:26sexual pleasure, right? Like you could
- 20:27do it with breath, you could do it with
- 20:29dance.
- 20:30Um you could do it simply by like, you
- 20:31know, massaging your hands if you like.
- 20:33It's just easier honestly if you are
- 20:36pleasuring yourself because it's such a
- 20:37direct access to so much
- 20:41like so many powerful internal
- 20:44chemicals.
- 20:45Dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin,
- 20:48endorphins, norepinephrine, which again
- 20:50are all of the chemicals that we need to
- 20:52train our body that our dream is safe.
- 20:54Mhm. So many of us are scared of our
- 20:56dreams. And so when the opportunity
- 20:58comes, which it will because you
- 20:59wouldn't even have the desire if it was
- 21:01not already on the way, right? The
- 21:02desires are divinely manifested. So the
- 21:04desire is actually just the breeze that
- 21:06precedes the train in the subway tunnel.
- 21:08Mhm. Right? And so what we do when we
- 21:11embody the manifestation, it's like
- 21:13we're readying ourselves for the
- 21:15opportunity that's already on the way.
- 21:16So that you get to feel to like make
- 21:19love to your dream. Mhm. So that when it
- 21:22shows up, you feel deserving.
- 21:24You feel ready and that you start to
- 21:26vibrate at the same frequency of the
- 21:29dream. Cuz so many of us when we're
- 21:31manifesting something big, there's a
- 21:32piece of that still feels unworthy.
- 21:34And when you get out of And that happens
- 21:36in the mind, right? That fear, that
- 21:38unworthiness that happens in the mind.
- 21:40So these are really embodied manifesting
- 21:42tools. So it's like we're bringing that
- 21:43desire into the body and swirling it. So
- 21:46I I talk in terms of um
- 21:49I'm trying to make this language really
- 21:50accessible for folks. So what I'm I'm
- 21:52calling this is pleasure prayer. Just
- 21:54simply using your pleasure to pray. As
- 21:56we build the charge in our hoo-ha, which
- 21:58again is like a really simple a really
- 22:00simple term that is all genders, male,
- 22:03female, trans, cis, all genders. And it
- 22:05includes the anatomy and the energy
- 22:07center. Mhm. Um so we start to build
- 22:09that charge in the hoo-ha, we let it
- 22:10build all the way up into the heart, and
- 22:12then all the way up into the head. And
- 22:14the moment of peak pleasure, it's like
- 22:16you're dedicating that that energy to
- 22:20your vision, to the thing that you want
- 22:21to create. And And that's a really
- 22:23foreign idea for a lot of people too
- 22:25that you could actually dedicate your
- 22:26pleasure to something. Mhm. Because it's
- 22:29we're in this like sort of
- 22:31masculine zero sum like goal-oriented,
- 22:35well, let me just like get off and be
- 22:37done, right? Or just stress release. Or
- 22:39it's like a I think Regina calls this
- 22:41and I am sorry, but she calls it a
- 22:43crotch sneeze.
- 22:47Which I you could never unhear that
- 22:48term.
- 22:50But this is a very different practice,
- 22:52right? This could take 20 minutes, an
- 22:53hour. And it's it's really about simply
- 22:57building the pleasure and the charge in
- 22:58your body and dedicating it to your
- 23:00dream. Now the cool thing is every
- 23:01single time we orgasm,
- 23:03um we don't make a baby.
- 23:06Right? Because if we did, it would be
- 23:07very crowded on Earth.
- 23:10And so like thank goodness that doesn't
- 23:12happen every single time. And yet we
- 23:14have that level of creative power
- 23:17available to us in that orgasmic state.
- 23:20And so it's like where are we directing
- 23:21that? The veil is thin. And when I ask
- 23:23people how they feel after they orgasm,
- 23:25it's usually
- 23:27peaceful, blissful,
- 23:30connected, pure,
- 23:33beyond myself,
- 23:35melted, joyous. And And that is a really
- 23:39powerful place to manifest from. Much
- 23:42more powerful than like you're driving
- 23:44to work, picking up your kids, going to
- 23:45get milk, got to get the dog food before
- 23:47your vacation. Like to manifest from
- 23:48that stressy, fear place, it's there's
- 23:51no fertile soil for the seeds to take
- 23:53root. Mhm.
- 23:55Mhm.
- 23:56How do you see pleasure and sensual
- 23:59sexual energy, building that energy, and
- 24:01the um difference in the manifestation
- 24:04quality of laughter?
- 24:06Ah. I said this to you my boyfriend
- 24:08yesterday. He went to a comedy show last
- 24:09night. It's the opening of a new show um
- 24:12in Austin. And I said, "Hey, Blue on my
- 24:15podcast said that, you know, when you're
- 24:17in aisle three at the grocery store an
- 24:19orgasm is not available to you, play is,
- 24:22laughter is. It is a release. It is this
- 24:25like you're in on the cosmic joke.
- 24:27You're flooding Again, you're flooding
- 24:29your brain and body with beautiful
- 24:30endogenous bliss chemicals." And so I
- 24:33invited him. He was going with his
- 24:34co-founders and friends. I was like,
- 24:35"What if you guys use this as a
- 24:36collective prayer time?" And so he
- 24:39didn't use it as a collective prayer,
- 24:40but he did himself. He was like in this
- 24:42heightened ecstatic cuz laughter is an
- 24:44is its own ecstatic state, right? There
- 24:46is like laughter meditation, laughter
- 24:48yoga where you just laugh and laugh and
- 24:50laugh. And And so he did. He would place
- 24:52some orders from these heightened
- 24:54elevated states. So I think, you know,
- 24:56you're right. Like if if if sensuality
- 24:59or
- 25:00um
- 25:01erotic energy is not available to you
- 25:03for any zillions of reasons that it's
- 25:05not, you know, you're with your mom uh
- 25:08at at church or something, then yes, we
- 25:10can use laughter and play. Mhm. You do
- 25:13it so well with your son. And it is such
- 25:16a gift to witness the way that you
- 25:17interact with your son. Your son is
- 25:19nine?
- 25:20He'll be five.
- 25:21Oh, five. I know. It's He seems like
- 25:23he's nine.
- 25:24He's so like
- 25:26he's so youthful, of course, but like so
- 25:28developed. Like his conversation, his
- 25:31communication, his presentation of his
- 25:33paleo intelligent dinosaur project with
- 25:34his friends and the way that he's
- 25:36describing it to them. The way his
- 25:37friends are so interested in what he's
- 25:39got to say as opposed to be like, "Oh,
- 25:40boring." They're so fascinated. They're
- 25:42asking questions. He's been playing
- 25:44drums and dancing. But the most
- 25:46important thing is that you're right by
- 25:47his side as his student, laughing and
- 25:49playing with him. And I see when you
- 25:52weave with him that you see through his
- 25:53eyes and therefore receive the gift of
- 25:56magic that is always around us.
- 25:59However, as adults we've become
- 26:00disconnected with that latent genius
- 26:03that you have rekindled, reactivated
- 26:06within your relationship with Jasper.
- 26:08And I think that this is like prime
- 26:10manifestation space, too. If you two are
- 26:12laughing together in the genius of
- 26:14finding the magic in the mundane. Yes.
- 26:16And he really is my biggest teacher. And
- 26:19thank you for like reintroducing these
- 26:21concepts of of play and laughter as
- 26:23manifesting tools cuz I don't think I
- 26:25would have connected those dots Mhm. uh
- 26:28so easily. So truly thank you for that
- 26:30gift. Um and yeah, he's well I can't
- 26:32wait for you all to really meet and drop
- 26:34in cuz he's so special.
- 26:36wait to play. He's so special. So you're
- 26:39also the queen of meditation.
- 26:41Um and you have a course called Ziva.
- 26:45Um and there have been hundreds of
- 26:47thousands of people that have gone
- 26:48through this program.
- 26:49Well, 50 so far. 50,000.
- 26:5150,000? Okay, so we're almost there.
- 26:5350,000.
- 26:54is one click away from 100.
- 26:55Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:56It took me 10 years to do 50, but let's
- 26:57go for the next 100 in the next 50,000
- 26:59is a lot of humans, though. Yeah, and
- 27:01just to clarify, it's not like 50,000
- 27:02people have downloaded an app. Like
- 27:0450,000 people have like gone through a
- 27:0615-day training and learned to do this
- 27:08on their own where they don't need me
- 27:09anymore cuz I'm really big on
- 27:11self-sufficiency and now have like a
- 27:13twice-a-day practice that they can do
- 27:15for the rest of their lives. So how do
- 27:17you teach meditation, right? Because we
- 27:18I think that we've got this expe- or
- 27:20this idea collectively, maybe, that when
- 27:24you meditate, you close your eyes, but
- 27:25it's more so just like thinking with
- 27:26your eyes closed. Mhm. But like how do
- 27:29you teach meditation? How do you get
- 27:32people into a place of being like, "Ah,
- 27:34four kids
- 27:36and I got a day job and I got all these
- 27:38responsibilities. Why is meditation
- 27:40important? How do I get started? And why
- 27:42would it be important for me to take
- 27:44some sort of course when
- 27:46the general perspective of meditation is
- 27:48just close your eyes?"
- 27:50Well, some Well,
- 27:51I mean, try it. You know what I mean?
- 27:52Like you are not a good data point,
- 27:54okay? So like
- 27:56you're like a very special fish. But for
- 27:58most people, if they just close their
- 28:01eyes, like that's what their parents did
- 28:02to them to torture them for punishment.
- 28:04Go to time out. People When I mean, I
- 28:07anyone listening, like when's the last
- 28:08time you sat down and closed your eyes
- 28:10and didn't do anything for 3 minutes,
- 28:134 minutes? Probably for most people,
- 28:15never. They weren't listening to a song,
- 28:17journaling, you know, actively thinking
- 28:20about something
- 28:22or or sleeping. Right? And so it's not
- 28:25something that we're trained at. And And
- 28:27I really would argue that meditation is
- 28:29a skill.
- 28:30And And it's fascinating to me that
- 28:32people won't take the time to learn a
- 28:34skill that is going to optimize the
- 28:36thing that is making every single
- 28:39decision in our lives and printing every
- 28:41single cell in our bodies. We're like,
- 28:44"Oh, I don't have time to meditate." I'm
- 28:45like, "What the [ __ ] else are you
- 28:47doing?"
- 28:49Like truly. Like cuz people don't
- 28:51understand how much stress is costing
- 28:54us. Like it is truly making us stupid,
- 28:57sick, and slow. And if you look
- 28:59globally, you know, I mean, there's so
- 29:00many shifts happening, but the whole
- 29:01world went through basically a
- 29:03near-death experience. The whole world
- 29:04faced its mortality in a different way,
- 29:07you know, over the past few years. And
- 29:09so the ripple effect of that is that
- 29:11some people It's woken some people up,
- 29:13you know, you face death and it wakes
- 29:14you up, it makes you really live. For
- 29:16some people, it was very traumatizing
- 29:18and and really created many many many
- 29:20layers of stress. And now we see that
- 29:22stress
- 29:25playing out in this fight or flight. So
- 29:27many people are looking for an enemy,
- 29:28they're looking for someone to blame.
- 29:29And now there's this unprocessed trauma.
- 29:31Even like even for me, like in New York
- 29:33City, I had an amazing friend group of
- 29:3524 people. 23 of them left New York in
- 29:38the pandemic. And like that was like a
- 29:40bougie high-class problem as far as
- 29:43problems go with COVID. But still losing
- 29:45my friend group felt traumatic. And I
- 29:46didn't do a therapy session on that. I
- 29:48didn't do any tapping on that. So, I
- 29:50have this like unprocessed stress in my
- 29:53body from that. And that's just one tiny
- 29:54little drop of the collective stress
- 29:56that the planet has gone through. And
- 29:58so, we're seeing the ripple effect of
- 29:59that now where we're where we're
- 30:00bifurcating. You're the enemy. You're
- 30:02the enemy. They're the enemy. We're all
- 30:03looking to fight something. Mhm. When
- 30:06actually, if collectively we were to get
- 30:08into stay and play, if we were to get
- 30:10into that sympathetic nervous system or
- 30:13parasympathetic, right? That rest and
- 30:15digest, we wouldn't be so quick to be
- 30:17looking for an enemy or someone to
- 30:19blame. We would actually just have more
- 30:21resilience to feel it. So, actually have
- 30:23on my last retreat, I had a woman who
- 30:25has 10 children. Not one, not two, not
- 30:28three.
- 30:2810? 10. You need a mini bus. Yeah. Yeah.
- 30:33I mean, really like a total mystery to
- 30:35me, but she meditates every day twice a
- 30:36day. I have taught CEOs of Fortune 500
- 30:39companies, like Oscar award winners, NBA
- 30:42players, like people who are really
- 30:44{quote} {unquote} busy. Mark Hyman says
- 30:46that he now
- 30:48when he does Ziva, it gives him back 3
- 30:50hours in his day. So, a lot of the drum
- 30:53that I've been beating over the past 10
- 30:54years has been like, "Hey, this thing is
- 30:56going to give you more time. It's going
- 30:58to make you more money. It's going to
- 31:00make your sex better." And so, I very
- 31:02much was wrapping the powerful medicine
- 31:04of meditation in the candy coating of
- 31:07sex and money.
- 31:08And which that's true.
- 31:10Like those that's true. And then it
- 31:13creates this beautiful foundation to to
- 31:15build these other spiritual practices on
- 31:17top of. Mhm.
- 31:18So, I woke up this morning, and I was
- 31:20walking around the the house, and I had
- 31:22no idea. Didn't even realize you were in
- 31:24the corner of the room meditating and
- 31:25just having your little moment in your
- 31:27little space to just drop into that
- 31:28solitude. And even though there was my
- 31:30noise moving around the house and
- 31:32talking to the dog, before I realized
- 31:33that you were actually meditating, I was
- 31:35when I I looked over at you, and there
- 31:36was just this this peacefulness and this
- 31:38stillness that was just emanating all
- 31:40around you from this constant every
- 31:43single day twice a day or once a day?
- 31:45Twice a day. Mhm. To check in
- 31:48with the center. And and what I've
- 31:50noticed is even just when I look at you
- 31:52in that state, I see you
- 31:55like a grand oak tree. And your roots
- 31:58are going deeper and deeper and deeper
- 32:00into the center of the earth. So, that
- 32:01then, you know, things happen. A podcast
- 32:03and this and then a plate smashed and
- 32:06dogs over here barking and then this
- 32:07happens and this is just, you know,
- 32:09whatever. Like get the text message from
- 32:10the thing that you didn't want to hear.
- 32:12So, the wind is blowing. However, the
- 32:15tree is only as sturdy as the depth of
- 32:17the roots. Mhm. And the depth of the
- 32:19roots is a contribu- contribution of
- 32:22every morning and every night,
- 32:24non-negotiable, you drop into that place
- 32:26of stillness so that then when you're in
- 32:28the presence of stress, strong energy,
- 32:31or conversation that's challenging, you
- 32:34feel so grounded and rooted in your
- 32:36presence that when the wind blows, the
- 32:39tree's not being uprooted. It may sway
- 32:40slightly, but it's not going anywhere.
- 32:44Thank you for that reflection. And and
- 32:46one thing I wanted to say is when when
- 32:48you're like, "You claim so much, but you
- 32:49don't apologize." When I was in college,
- 32:52I went to Florida State University. I
- 32:54was a theater major.
- 32:55FSU? FSU. Go Noles, baby.
- 32:58That's a party school. It I was the
- 32:59number one party school when I was
- 33:00there.
- 33:01Yeah. Yeah. Just I might have
- 33:02contributed to that. We're rich country.
- 33:04I can definitely see you upside down on
- 33:06a beer barrel.
- 33:07Oh, yeah. I definitely did like what are
- 33:09they called? Like headstands keg stands
- 33:11for my 21st birthday.
- 33:13Yeah. I came out from
- 33:14from
- 33:16England, and I was in like military
- 33:18boarding school. And um
- 33:21I went to college in Florida. Oh. Yeah.
- 33:24Um
- 33:25in between Tampa and Orlando in in
- 33:27Lakeland. Oh. It was a small private
- 33:29college. What school? Um Florida
- 33:31Southern College. FSU? No, FSC. FSC. So
- 33:35close to you.
- 33:36FSU was you. FSC was me.
- 33:38All these letters.
- 33:40Um yeah, so I wasn't that far away from
- 33:41you, but Florida's a party place.
- 33:43Yeah, it's it's a whole 'nother
- 33:45university down there. But I remember
- 33:46this one time we would have a call
- 33:47board, and the call board is where they
- 33:49would put like they here's the new cast
- 33:51of the new show, and here's the new
- 33:53schedule. It's like it was like nervous
- 33:55system of the whole theater school. And
- 33:57I went up to look and see like, you
- 34:00know, did I get the lead? Did I get the
- 34:01role that I auditioned for? And I was
- 34:03trying to make my way to the front. I
- 34:04was like, "Oh, sorry. Oh, excuse me. I'm
- 34:07I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." And I
- 34:10apologized like six times on the way to
- 34:12the board. And this this senior girl
- 34:13pulls me aside. I was a freshman. And
- 34:15she was like, "Stop apologizing.
- 34:18You don't have anything to apologize
- 34:19for." I was like, "Oh, I'm so sorry."
- 34:22I was like apologizing for apologizing.
- 34:24And so, it got on my radar. So, the fact
- 34:27that you say that back to me is actually
- 34:28like a really big compliment. But then
- 34:31when I was acting and then teaching
- 34:32acting and helping run auditions, it
- 34:35tells you so much when you're behind the
- 34:37table and you watch a thousand people
- 34:38come into a room wanting a job,
- 34:41and how many people walk in and it's
- 34:43like, "Oh, is it okay if I get sit this
- 34:45chair? Oh, I'm so sorry. Can I Is it uh
- 34:49and they're just so uncertain, so
- 34:51unsure, so apologetic for their very
- 34:53existence. And it makes you nervous. It
- 34:56makes you nervous to be around that
- 34:57energy. And so, that's when I started to
- 34:59really cultivate it like, "If anyone
- 35:01deserves to be here, I deserve to be
- 35:03here, too." Um my friend Susan Blackwell
- 35:06says, "No one above, no one below,
- 35:07haters to the left." Like no one's
- 35:09better than you, no one's worse than
- 35:11you.
- 35:11above, no one below, haters to the left.
- 35:15I love
- 35:16it. Yeah, that feels like a very blueish
- 35:17slogan. That's brilliant.
- 35:20That's great. Okay. Yeah.
- 35:22Actually, you should have Susan
- 35:23Blackwell on if you're interested. She's
- 35:25in a brilliant She's a Tony
- 35:26award-winning writer, performer. She
- 35:28consults with Disney and Pixar. Whenever
- 35:32I give talks, I hire her to like help me
- 35:36craft it and just like make it like
- 35:39like make sure that the the essence of
- 35:41what I want to communicate comes
- 35:42through. If I I've scripted a talk
- 35:44literally one time in my life, but the
- 35:45one time that I did, I hired Susan.
- 35:49Oh, that sounds amazing. And what I'm
- 35:51also receiving here is that
- 35:53sisterhood has been such a huge
- 35:55implementing part of your path.
- 35:57Yeah. From your experience with Layla to
- 36:01Mama Gina Regina,
- 36:04to the women in your life that have
- 36:06like, you know, even this woman that
- 36:07pulled you aside and was like, "Stop
- 36:09complaining." Oh, and stop stop stop
- 36:10stop complaining. Stop apologizing for
- 36:13your very existence.
- 36:14And then then in return, the permission
- 36:17that you've also granted me in your
- 36:19presence. Like there's there's something
- 36:20that there's a theme here that I'm
- 36:21picking up on. Would love for you to
- 36:23just speak into the role that sisterhood
- 36:26has played in the evolution of your
- 36:27consciousness and the claiming of the
- 36:28magic of who you are today.
- 36:30Yeah, so what's so funny is I just had
- 36:31this thought this morning because
- 36:33as I was getting ready and doing my
- 36:34makeup, I was on a Zoom call with um
- 36:37this thing called Council of Queens, and
- 36:39it's an entrepreneur group. I think
- 36:40there's eight of us. It's like eight
- 36:42female entrepreneurs in the wellness
- 36:44space, and we've been doing it now for
- 36:46about 9 months, I think. We meet once a
- 36:48month, 2 hours. And it's just a place to
- 36:51bring our greatest successes, our
- 36:53greatest challenges um because it is so
- 36:56unusual. It's like less than 3% of of
- 37:01um
- 37:02like less than 3% of female-owned
- 37:05businesses cross the seven-figure mark.
- 37:08And that's like an abysmal figure. 3%.
- 37:123%? 3% of female-owned businesses cross
- 37:14the seven-figure mark. Yeah. And so,
- 37:16it's a really
- 37:18tiny It's like a small pool. And so, to
- 37:21be able to support each other and help
- 37:23each other and ask those questions. And
- 37:25because just like sex is shamed, so is
- 37:27money. And for it to be a woman who's
- 37:29making money, and certainly a woman in
- 37:31the spiritual space making money, it's
- 37:33like, "How dare you? You know, you you
- 37:36should not want to put your son in
- 37:38school or wear clothes or pay rent." And
- 37:41it's just the fact that we're willing to
- 37:43like that it's totally fine for
- 37:45petroleum executives to make hundreds of
- 37:47millions of dollars, but if someone
- 37:49who's teaching meditation and raising
- 37:51the consciousness of the planet, they
- 37:52should be poor because that is holy.
- 37:55Like I I It's a podcast for another day.
- 37:57But sisterhood. Right before I got here,
- 38:00I was on a call.
- 38:00that's a whole subject in itself. I'm so
- 38:02down to go down that path. Great.
- 38:04Honestly. So, I was on this Council of
- 38:06Queens. I mean, we're in Queendom West.
- 38:08I live in Queendom East. So, like that
- 38:10sisterhood feels really strong to me. I
- 38:12have an amazing sister. Her name is
- 38:13Jessica. She is 7 years older than me.
- 38:16And and we've had such a beautiful,
- 38:19fascinating relationship because 7 years
- 38:21is a lot, right? It's a big gap. Where
- 38:23it's like she very much mothered me.
- 38:25Like my mom worked a lot when I was
- 38:27little. And so, my sister played a huge
- 38:29role in as a parental role to me. And
- 38:32then moved out when she was 16. And so,
- 38:34I was nine when she moved out. And so,
- 38:37we're now like my mom just turned 80,
- 38:39and we got to really like be a team
- 38:41throwing my mom's 80th birthday party.
- 38:43And so, and my mom comes from a family
- 38:45of 10. And it was nine women, one man.
- 38:47And the man died early. So, it's really
- 38:49like I I matriarchy is like in my
- 38:52in my cells. Mhm.
- 38:56I can feel it. It runs strong, and it's
- 38:58good medicine.
- 39:00Um then I think that this is like a
- 39:01great segue into what you just talked
- 39:04about. Like this is a really juicy topic
- 39:06here around
- 39:08um
- 39:09what it means to be a woman on the
- 39:11spiritual path that is making money for
- 39:13what it is that she's creating and
- 39:14that's what the shame and guilt that
- 39:15comes with that. And how do you think
- 39:19that or if if at all, do you think that
- 39:21that shame is related to sexuality or
- 39:24like interwoven in some sort of way?
- 39:25Mhm. That's interesting cuz, you know,
- 39:27they're both at the root, right? Like
- 39:29creativity, survival, money, sex,
- 39:31they're all these like lower chakras.
- 39:33Uh-huh. And so, if they're blocked or if
- 39:37you're not talking to them or accessing
- 39:39them, and then they can all they can
- 39:41both sort of wither, you know, your
- 39:42sexuality, your sensuality, and your
- 39:44abundance.
- 39:45What I have found is that in the past
- 39:47years, I took a 3-month sabbatical last
- 39:49year, and Ziva had its best financial
- 39:51year to date. So, that I mean, that was
- 39:54that was wild evidence to me that
- 39:57actually being in my feminine, leaning
- 39:59back, making space for new cognitions,
- 40:02being in magnetism and receptivity
- 40:05is the frequency of the time, which is
- 40:08very different than how I started the
- 40:10business. It was a different age in
- 40:112010. It was a different world. Like it
- 40:14was I mean, my book is called stress
- 40:15less accomplish more. I was like,
- 40:18meditate so you could accomplish more.
- 40:20Just different paradigm.
- 40:22Um,
- 40:23and so I do think that what it proved to
- 40:25me, taking that sabbatical, making space
- 40:27to birth and nurture these new things
- 40:30that wanted to come through, and then
- 40:32the fact that more people were drawn to
- 40:34my work, more people were seeking me
- 40:37out, it felt like a real high five from
- 40:39nature of like, keep going. Keep going.
- 40:41Like the world needs this message. I
- 40:43know it's scary to talk about sex, even
- 40:45say the word sex, and people get like
- 40:47hella triggered, you know.
- 40:49And and I again, I'm Southern Baptist.
- 40:50Like I've not even really talked to my
- 40:52mom and sister too much about this work.
- 40:54Like that's the thing that's going on in
- 40:55my mind. I'm like, I seem brave and I
- 40:57seem super claiming, but like there's
- 40:59still like I haven't really sat my mom
- 41:01down and be like, hey, so I have a dream
- 41:03about 80,000 people climaxing in Dallas
- 41:05Cowboys Stadium at the same time.
- 41:08Will you be there?
- 41:10Like I haven't really done that yet. She
- 41:11probably is not a subscriber for the
- 41:13Daily Shavuot podcast. I think we're
- 41:15safe.
- 41:16But unless you like pull up this clip on
- 41:17social and someone sends it to her
- 41:19Facebook.
- 41:21Ah. So, you know, there's many ways that
- 41:24I'm brave and there's many ways that I'm
- 41:25not, but actually money was a tough one
- 41:26for me. Like I remember I would get
- 41:29those comments of like, how dare you?
- 41:30Like, you know, how dare you charge
- 41:32money for your meditation class and
- 41:34meditation should be free cuz it's not
- 41:35only being a woman, it's not only being
- 41:37the spiritual space, not only making
- 41:38money, but because we have price
- 41:40anchored meditation as free, right? That
- 41:43we think that it's only monks that are
- 41:44doing it. And by the way, definition of
- 41:46a monk, well,
- 41:47there's lots. But in India, you're
- 41:49either a monk or you're a householder,
- 41:51and it's less than 1% of the world's
- 41:53population that is monastic by nature.
- 41:55And that means that like you don't want
- 41:56to have a family. You don't want to have
- 41:58sex with people. You don't want to live
- 41:59in society. You actually want to be
- 42:00reclusive and celibate. That's your
- 42:02desire.
- 42:04And for us to try and be monastic when
- 42:06we're not does not make us more holy.
- 42:09Right? And I think it's one of the big
- 42:10games of translation that has made us
- 42:12feel unnecessary shame around sexuality
- 42:15and unnecessary shame around money
- 42:17because we think that the monks, because
- 42:19they have these seemingly superpowers,
- 42:21it's not because they're special, it's
- 42:23just they're just have different
- 42:24practices. They're contributing society
- 42:26in a different way. If you don't have a
- 42:28job or kids or like too many things to
- 42:32do during the day, then you can help to
- 42:33contribute to collective consciousness
- 42:35through laundering your own
- 42:36consciousness. So, it's just a different
- 42:37modality versus people like us, people
- 42:40that are householders who want to have
- 42:41kids and have jobs and be in society,
- 42:43we're doing different styles,
- 42:46and so they require less time, but we do
- 42:50those styles so that we can get good at
- 42:52life.
- 42:54We don't meditate to get good at
- 42:55meditation. We meditate to get good at
- 42:56life. And part of being good at life is
- 42:59providing for a family and having
- 43:02partners and having great sex. Like this
- 43:05is so it's like to deny yourself
- 43:06abundance, to deny yourself sexuality
- 43:09does not make you closer to God.
- 43:13So, let's continue to unravel the shame
- 43:15and the guilt that is holding these
- 43:17specific pieces captive while also
- 43:20recognizing that we can live in a
- 43:22reality where we can receive it all,
- 43:24which is I think is actually sometimes
- 43:26very triggering to to even say that,
- 43:28especially with the amount of suffering
- 43:30that is happening on the planet for
- 43:31people when you say, oh, well, you can
- 43:33have it all. And then it can kind of go
- 43:35into this narrative of privilege. And of
- 43:37course, there's many different layers
- 43:38around that specifically. However, what
- 43:41I'm hearing from you is the depth or the
- 43:44deepening of your feminine principle, of
- 43:46your magnetism, and that is found in the
- 43:48stillness. And the stillness is found in
- 43:51carving out very like specific times of
- 43:53non-negotiable meditation and navigating
- 43:57the internal waters so that we can
- 43:58actually align with the reality that is
- 44:00there for us as opposed to hustle,
- 44:02chase, push down, step on, dog eat dog,
- 44:07go out and make it happen. Yes, there's
- 44:10a degree of aligned action because if we
- 44:11just sit on our sofa at home and we just
- 44:13meditate all day, then actually it's not
- 44:15the energy is not being put in motion.
- 44:18However, the aligned action but based
- 44:20from a place of I know who I am, I know
- 44:22why I'm here, and I know how I serve,
- 44:23and I've anchored this in my morning and
- 44:25night is now aligning you with a
- 44:28magnetic force field so that when you
- 44:29show up to the space, it's not about
- 44:31what you do, it's about who you be while
- 44:32you do it that allows it to come to you
- 44:34with ease and grace. Yes, so well said.
- 44:36As a matter of fact, just this morning
- 44:37we're talking to Matrix, our DP over
- 44:39here.
- 44:40And and he was saying like from watching
- 44:42all these episodes and seeing all these
- 44:43people, he's like, you know, the people
- 44:44who are making it are the people who are
- 44:45doing both. They're saying the prayers
- 44:48and they're walking the walk. Like it's
- 44:49not just about the 5D. It's not just
- 44:51offer up the prayer and take a nap. And
- 44:53it's not just hustle and grind. It
- 44:56really requires that masterful
- 44:57simultaneity of like absolute clarity of
- 45:00the vision and full and total detachment
- 45:03of the result and taking, like you would
- 45:06say, aligned aligned action.
- 45:09Those that I feel myself to be super
- 45:11drawn to and inspired by are the ones
- 45:13that have integrated the masculine
- 45:17go with the feminine flow. The
- 45:21masculine
- 45:23essence of structure, numbers, follow
- 45:26through, being on time, agreeing you
- 45:29know, to to show up at this certain
- 45:30space and this certain time at a certain
- 45:32date, and actually doing that and
- 45:34following through with it,
- 45:36being able to be impeccable with our
- 45:38word.
- 45:40And then that combined effort of showing
- 45:43up and then not needing to be nothing
- 45:45needs to be said per se. It's not like I
- 45:47go there with an agenda, but more so
- 45:49then in the softening of the feminine
- 45:50principle is the embodiment of I know
- 45:53who I am, I know I'm here, and I know
- 45:54how I serve, and my presence alone is
- 45:56already worthy and is already enough,
- 45:59and showing up with that essence with
- 46:00also the masculine that's holding it in
- 46:02place or the structure that's allowing
- 46:04the showing up. But once the showing up
- 46:06is done, the emphasis on it's not about
- 46:09what I do, it's about who I be while I
- 46:12do the thing. The doing is still there,
- 46:14but the emphasis is on the being part
- 46:17that then penetrates the do, if that
- 46:19makes sense.
- 46:20So, that's what I that's what I sense in
- 46:22you very strongly, which is why I'm very
- 46:23drawn towards you and as an inspiration
- 46:26in my life and and and a strong woman
- 46:28that activates me and inspires me by the
- 46:30way that you choose to weave the world
- 46:32and the way that you choose to see life
- 46:33is from a very grounded space.
- 46:37And I think in the spiritual community,
- 46:39there's a lot of individuals that are
- 46:41very much in the 5D. However, when when
- 46:44it comes to like having our feet on the
- 46:46earth and following through with things
- 46:48that we said that we would do, it starts
- 46:50to fall short, and then it's hard for me
- 46:52to receive the teachings
- 46:54of an individual that is not fully
- 46:56embodied.
- 46:58Because it's the embodiment that the
- 47:00frequency lands in the body.
- 47:03So, when you speak, your wisdom lands
- 47:05for me because it's coming from an
- 47:07embodied place.
- 47:09Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. That is
- 47:11the biggest compliment that you could
- 47:12give me because I've spent a lifetime
- 47:15sort of
- 47:17Like I also talk about like mood making.
- 47:19Like there's a lot of people making a
- 47:20mood about meditation, and like now it's
- 47:23on to psychedelics and sex. It's like
- 47:24almost like meditation is passe, and I'm
- 47:26like, we everybody, like
- 47:28please for the love of all things holy,
- 47:30like please start a meditation practice
- 47:32before you start blasting yourself open
- 47:34with 5-MeO-DMT and going to tantra
- 47:36retreats and having orgies. Like all
- 47:38those things can be amazing.
- 47:41Like you know, like truly, I've had
- 47:42great experiences with all of those
- 47:43things. But like if you don't have the
- 47:45ability to like ground and rest and
- 47:48integrate and and change your own seat
- 47:50of consciousness internally, then that
- 47:52stuff can be bifurcating, you know, it
- 47:55can create fractures if you don't know
- 47:57how to reintegrate yourself. I mean, the
- 48:00whole point of it is to be an expansion.
- 48:02Psychedelics, breath work, sacred
- 48:03sexuality, they expand you open, which
- 48:05is amazing. But if you don't know how to
- 48:08bring yourself home or have this
- 48:10foundation on which to build those
- 48:12things, then I find that they can be not
- 48:14not as effective. And to your point,
- 48:16like no one wants to learn meditation
- 48:17from someone who is stressed. No one
- 48:19wants to take financial advice from
- 48:20someone who doesn't have any money. And
- 48:22in this day and age where everyone is
- 48:23becoming a coach, it's like, great. Like
- 48:26if you know A, teach A. If you know B,
- 48:28teach B. So, I'm not like one of those
- 48:29people that's like, everyone's a coach.
- 48:31But it's like, I do think we want to
- 48:33equip people who are on the upward
- 48:35spiral to help people who are not.
- 48:39And to your point, if you're not
- 48:41embodied, if you're not practicing what
- 48:42you're preaching, it's just not going to
- 48:44be as impactful.
- 48:48Yeah, I mean, Matrix is over at the side
- 48:51of this podcast right now. He's just
- 48:52clicking his waving his hands in the
- 48:53air. He's feeling it. He's vibing it.
- 48:56Matrix, the unsung hero of the Daily
- 48:59Shavuot podcast. He really is. We just
- 49:01like massive shout out to Matrix right
- 49:03now for all of the magic and the the the
- 49:04energy that you hold for the the queens
- 49:06that come on this podcast and the kings
- 49:08and everything in between.
- 49:10It's a great follow for you, brother.
- 49:11Um,
- 49:13so moving forward, you you talked about
- 49:16you have a vision for bringing X amount
- 49:18of individuals all in one space and
- 49:21creating a pleasure practice. Uh,
- 49:24I would love for you to just break this
- 49:25down just for a second cuz I'm sure
- 49:27there's somebody that's sitting at home
- 49:28that's probably choking on a the peach
- 49:30that they're eating right now. They're
- 49:31like,
- 49:32like, what? You want to bring all these
- 49:33humans together and do what?
- 49:35Um, and yet also it's this pattern
- 49:37interrupt courageous heart that I do
- 49:40believe is the pioneering energy for a
- 49:41new paradigm. Um, and so, I'd love to
- 49:43hear your perspective on
- 49:45what is your why behind wanting to
- 49:47create an experience where there are x
- 49:50amount of people, large amounts of
- 49:51people in the same space uh creating a
- 49:53pleasure practice. And what do you feel
- 49:55like that would actually contribute to
- 49:57the fabric of the collective
- 49:58consciousness moving forward?
- 50:00So, the original vision I was on my
- 50:02one-year anniversary um in in Santa Fe
- 50:05on the sacred Chigong ground, and I met
- 50:07this amazing woman named Amanda, and she
- 50:09asked for permission and she's like,
- 50:11"May I?" And she put her hands on my
- 50:12knees, and she said
- 50:16tap into my future. And she was like,
- 50:18"That's weird." I was like, "What?"
- 50:20She's like, "This is normally my dream."
- 50:22And I was like, "What?" And she's like,
- 50:23"But this is clearly you."
- 50:25You're on a stage, and it's not just
- 50:26you, there's a lot of women around you,
- 50:28and it's let's just say it's the Dallas
- 50:30Cowboys Stadium, there's 80,000 people
- 50:32there. And and what was weird is that
- 50:34I've been having that vision as well.
- 50:35Like, not Dallas Cowboys Stadium, I
- 50:36didn't know it was 80,000 people, but
- 50:38I've been having a dream of like me and
- 50:39a lot of women in a circle with a
- 50:41stadium of filled with people. And I
- 50:43didn't know exactly what it was, but a
- 50:45few weeks later it's like the whole run
- 50:46of show dropped in. And now now I can
- 50:49feel the frequency of that, and I had an
- 50:51Akashic record reading at New Year's
- 50:52that was like, "Yes, like yes, keep
- 50:54going. Liberation through pleasure,
- 50:57liberation through pleasure, but let go
- 50:58of the container, and let go of the
- 51:00timing."
- 51:01Right? Like, it's not necessarily this
- 51:03container, and if you try and push it on
- 51:05your timeline, then you're going to pull
- 51:06like if you try and pull the rubber band
- 51:08faster than it can sustainably hold
- 51:10itself, you're going to have the
- 51:12snapback, and you're going to create
- 51:14suffering. And they were talking like,
- 51:15you know, burned at the stake type
- 51:16suffering. So, like while I've been
- 51:18really protected so far, it was
- 51:21basically a warning that like on
- 51:22nature's time, not your time. On
- 51:25nature's time, not your time. So, that
- 51:26doesn't doesn't diminish me from the
- 51:28audacity of the dream, because I think
- 51:30that there's magnetism in the audacity
- 51:32of the dream, but what I am now more
- 51:33flexible around is like how we get
- 51:35there, and um and then just last night
- 51:38we had like a little mini council
- 51:40meeting, a few of us. We're so special.
- 51:42We're so special.
- 51:43special.
- 51:44It was you know, myself and and you and
- 51:47Layla and Aubrey and Vilana, and and
- 51:50Aubrey was sort of challenging me on
- 51:51this, right? And he's like, "Why? Why do
- 51:52you want to do this in public? Why
- 51:53press? Why cameras? Like, is this just a
- 51:56[ __ ] you?" And I was like, "No, there's
- 51:58zero [ __ ] you energy in this."
- 52:00It is like the fact that we even think
- 52:04that pleasuring ourselves is sinful or
- 52:07bad or audacious, and yet we'll watch
- 52:10war movies and video games, and the fact
- 52:13that no one's asked for consent to talk
- 52:14about someone being shot, no one asked
- 52:16for consent before punching someone in
- 52:18the face, fighting, boxing. This stuff
- 52:20is happening, people are paying money
- 52:22for that.
- 52:23Fighting someone, killing someone.
- 52:26This is okay,
- 52:28but pleasure, reminding ourselves that
- 52:31God is actually inside of us, that
- 52:33somehow this has become the devil, that
- 52:36this has become wrong and a sin, again,
- 52:39is just so incomprehensible to me. Like
- 52:42I like I really cannot believe that we
- 52:44have managed to forget that we're
- 52:46actually God. And it's been so many tens
- 52:49of thousands of years that it feels
- 52:51audacious when it's really not.
- 52:53And I am not a ding-dong. Like I
- 52:55recognize how much conditioning we're
- 52:57all swimming in, and so I like the idea
- 52:59of us maybe like doing it in private,
- 53:01secretly doing it, getting, you know,
- 53:03500 people, then 5,000 people, then
- 53:0610,000 people, and maybe it's on
- 53:07someone's private land, and we don't
- 53:09bring the cameras yet, we don't bring
- 53:10the press yet, but what I think will
- 53:12happen
- 53:13is that we get into coherence with
- 53:15ourselves, we get into coherence with
- 53:17each other, and we offer up these
- 53:19prayers, not only for ourselves, but we
- 53:21offer up these prayers for the
- 53:22collective.
- 53:23And I know that you have seen this
- 53:24before, right? Like, there's one person
- 53:27praying is amazing, a thousand people
- 53:29with the same prayer is 1,000 x more
- 53:34powerful. It's not a thousand times more
- 53:36power, it's it's to the infinite. We
- 53:38used to start to talk multitudes more
- 53:39power.
- 53:41And so, my theory is that if we can get
- 53:44tens of thousands, maybe eventually
- 53:45stadiums, you know, network together,
- 53:48people all climaxing in like thinning
- 53:50the veil between the unmanifest and the
- 53:52unmanifest, right? In these
- 53:54extraordinary ecstatic states holding a
- 53:56collective prayer for the species that
- 53:58the planet is regenerative, that humans
- 54:00are living in harmony with the planet,
- 54:02that we are living in harmony with each
- 54:03other, my theory is that it will change
- 54:06the timeline of the species. And the
- 54:08reason why this does not feel audacious
- 54:09to me is that if we don't system if we
- 54:12don't pattern interrupt,
- 54:14then like the bus is currently heading
- 54:16off the cliff.
- 54:19Like it's
- 54:21It's like or or or we could just let the
- 54:23planet keep burning.
- 54:25Does that feel like a smart like that
- 54:26seems audacious to me, actually. And
- 54:28that's what I said to you yesterday in
- 54:29the kitchen, I said, "Thank you so much
- 54:31for your courage." Or the kitchen
- 54:33somewhere.
- 54:34Um, and your response was something
- 54:37along the lines of
- 54:38I mean, I see that there, so we like
- 54:41we run ourselves off the the edge of the
- 54:43cliff. Like
- 54:45it's kind of just like the choice is
- 54:47choice.
- 54:48And I thought that was
- 54:49such a beautiful response, because it
- 54:52does place an emphasis on the way that
- 54:55we are weaving in the world, the way
- 54:56that we are consumering, the way that we
- 54:59are treating each other, the wars that
- 55:01are living within inside of our own
- 55:02heads, therefore subsequently
- 55:03contributing to the wars that we see on
- 55:05the planet, the division mentality. I
- 55:07mean, there's just so much that's going
- 55:09on, the way that we're operating from
- 55:11this
- 55:13this
- 55:14forward is that we we're finite right
- 55:16now. We don't have,
- 55:17you know, much much time here.
- 55:20even the world we want to be living in?
- 55:23Is this really what we choose?
- 55:25Like, if we could make a different
- 55:26paradigm, would we?
- 55:28You said said something about the the
- 55:30hair analogy of how much time we've
- 55:32actually been here. Oh, yeah.
- 55:34Can you share that?
- 55:36So, in the Museum of Natural History,
- 55:37which I go to a lot because again, I
- 55:38have a four-year-old paleontologist in
- 55:40my family. Um, so there's this beautiful
- 55:42called the Hayden Planetarium, there's a
- 55:43giant sun, and it's basically like the
- 55:45whole building. It's like four stories
- 55:47high, whole sun, and they they made it
- 55:49to to give you a scale of like, here's
- 55:51Mercury, and here's Earth, and here's
- 55:52Jupiter, so you can see the size of the
- 55:55sun in relationship to the other
- 55:56planets. And then there's this spiral
- 55:58walkway that goes all the way around the
- 56:00sun, and it basically you start on the
- 56:01third floor, and it's the beginning of
- 56:02time, like however many hundreds of
- 56:04millions of years ago. And you take one
- 56:07step is like a hundred million years in
- 56:09each step, and you just see like, "Oh,
- 56:11one floor down, here's dinosaurs, and
- 56:13here's another era of dinosaurs, and
- 56:15here's another era of dinosaurs. Oh, and
- 56:16here's like
- 56:18reptiles, and here's the and here's
- 56:20trees." And then the last step you take,
- 56:23there's a single strand of human hair.
- 56:26And that is how long humans have been on
- 56:28Earth.
- 56:30And it's this real lens shift. Like, you
- 56:33pull the lens way back, and you realize
- 56:36like
- 56:37we're so narcissistic, and we can't help
- 56:39but think that this is all there is, but
- 56:42the
- 56:42Earth has been around for a long time.
- 56:46Really long time.
- 56:48And and so, when you think that like
- 56:50dinosaurs probably thought that they
- 56:51weren't going to go extinct,
- 56:53you know, and people are like, "Oh, save
- 56:54the planet, save the planet." Like, this
- 56:55is not about the planet. The planet will
- 56:57be fine. She might shake us off, but she
- 57:00will be fine. The question is, what do
- 57:02we want our existence to be on this
- 57:04planet for the time that we have left?
- 57:07And and my I mean, now especially being
- 57:09a mom, you know, my son is four. By
- 57:112050, I'm not great at math, but let's
- 57:14say that puts him in his like 30s or
- 57:16something. There's supposed to be more
- 57:17plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050.
- 57:20Say that again. By 2050, there's
- 57:23supposed to be more plastic in the ocean
- 57:25than fish. Like, by volume, by weight.
- 57:28And like the thought of my son like
- 57:30swimming in plastic and not seeing any
- 57:32fish in the ocean, it's like
- 57:35No, that's not it. And just like you
- 57:37will abuse and neglect your body when
- 57:40you don't feel connected to it, I feel
- 57:42that's what we're doing to the Earth.
- 57:43We're like abusing and neglecting the
- 57:45Earth because we don't feel connected to
- 57:47her. And so again, the hypothesis is
- 57:49that if we can reconnect to the ecology
- 57:51of our own bodies, then we can start to
- 57:53reconnect to the planet. And if at the
- 57:56very least, it's just like
- 57:58we learn how to pray in a more powerful
- 58:01way,
- 58:02and if we take all of the energy that we
- 58:06spend worshipping our worries,
- 58:08and start to spend that worshipping our
- 58:10dreams,
- 58:11like one, it would just be a lot more
- 58:12fun place to live. And two, they might
- 58:15even start coming true.
- 58:19Just you saying worshipping our
- 58:21worries as opposed to worshipping our
- 58:23dreams, I can feel
- 58:25the just the internal shift that happens
- 58:28in the way that I perceive my day,
- 58:31and how the worries are so much louder
- 58:34than the dreams.
- 58:36And yet, the dreams are actually all
- 58:37here. It's just because of how loud the
- 58:39worries are, and then it obstructs my
- 58:41ability to receive the dream that's
- 58:42actually already been made manifest. And
- 58:45that's the individual responsibility
- 58:47that we all have to genuinely create a a
- 58:50more beautiful world that our hearts
- 58:51know is possible.
- 58:53Is
- 58:55to take ownership of what's going on
- 58:57between our ears.
- 58:58And I would offer that that to do that,
- 59:01to make that shift organically from
- 59:02worshipping your worries to worshipping
- 59:04your dreams, is very very challenging,
- 59:06almost impossible, if you don't have a
- 59:09handle on your neurochemistry. Like, if
- 59:10you are swimming in adrenaline and
- 59:12cortisol and fight or flight, if your
- 59:14body thinks that it's being attacked at
- 59:16any given moment, it is virtually
- 59:18impossible to actively worship your
- 59:20dreams. I mean, you can, but it's hard.
- 59:23It requires a lot of white knuckling.
- 59:25And so, that's why I mean, I know I'm
- 59:27evangelical about this, but truly like
- 59:28meditation is like step one for
- 59:31manifesting, because you have to get out
- 59:33of fight or flight and into stay and
- 59:34play. You have to change this
- 59:35neurochemistry so that you have the
- 59:38luxury, really the privilege then of
- 59:40being able to direct your attention
- 59:42where you choose. Because otherwise this
- 59:44meat suit's trying to survive and you're
- 59:46not going to be able to override
- 59:48survival in the body with some happy
- 59:50thoughts about your dreams. Mhm. Mhm.
- 59:54How do you feel like meditation plays a
- 59:55role in allowing us to shift from
- 59:59survival into thriving uh within the
- 1:00:01somatic experience of our body and our
- 1:00:03nervous system? So when we get stressed
- 1:00:05we go into fight or flight, right?
- 1:00:06Everybody knows this. But like the
- 1:00:08physiologically what happens is um
- 1:00:11body starts preparing for a tiger
- 1:00:13attack. So it will um
- 1:00:16heart rate increases
- 1:00:18um
- 1:00:20blood pressure increases, bladder and
- 1:00:22bowels evacuate so you can be light on
- 1:00:24your feet so you don't you shouldn't
- 1:00:25like weighed down. Your vision starts to
- 1:00:27narrow so you're focused on your
- 1:00:29opponent. Your um skin uh sorry, your
- 1:00:32digestion floods with acid to shut down
- 1:00:34digestion because you need all hands on
- 1:00:36deck to fight or flee the tiger. That
- 1:00:38acid seeps onto your skin so you don't
- 1:00:40taste very good if the tiger bites you.
- 1:00:42Your blood starts to thicken and
- 1:00:43coagulate so if the tiger bites you you
- 1:00:45don't bleed out. So all of these
- 1:00:47chemical responses are really useful if
- 1:00:49your demands are predators. But now our
- 1:00:52our demands in most parts of the world
- 1:00:53are not predatory attacks.
- 1:00:55Right? Now it's in-laws and deadlines
- 1:00:58and emails and banks collapsing and new
- 1:01:01AIs coming out and just being asked to
- 1:01:03adapt, adapt, adapt. And so now what we
- 1:01:07do when we meditate and with Ziva
- 1:01:09specifically we're giving the body rest
- 1:01:10that's five times deeper than sleep. So
- 1:01:13within a 15-minute meditation it's the
- 1:01:15equivalent of almost an hour and a half
- 1:01:17of rest but without a sleep hangover on
- 1:01:18the other side. And so then you go in
- 1:01:21and you de-excite the nervous system and
- 1:01:22you start to get rid of that adrenaline
- 1:01:23and cortisol which are stress hormones
- 1:01:25which make the body acidic and not taste
- 1:01:27good. And then almost immediately we
- 1:01:29start to flood the brain and body with
- 1:01:30dopamine and serotonin which are bliss
- 1:01:32chemicals which feel good in the moment
- 1:01:35but then good news they stay with you
- 1:01:36even outside of the meditation. So that
- 1:01:38bliss starts to permeate the other 23
- 1:01:40hours of the day which is what you're
- 1:01:41responding to when you see like those
- 1:01:43roots or that groundedness or that
- 1:01:45claiming that I'm like that's what that
- 1:01:46is. That's me accessing
- 1:01:49this
- 1:01:50this thing that is much bigger than me
- 1:01:52and then bringing it with me into the
- 1:01:54rest of the day not just in meditation.
- 1:01:57Um so but main but main thing for most
- 1:01:59people it's like get out of fight or
- 1:02:01flight, get into stay and play. Like get
- 1:02:04the body into not only homeostasis but
- 1:02:07into this alkaline blissed out nature so
- 1:02:10that you have options so that you can if
- 1:02:13you choose.
- 1:02:16Mhm.
- 1:02:19See right there, that's a prime example
- 1:02:21of you marrying your study and your
- 1:02:25wisdom and your time spent learning and
- 1:02:27then also your intuition and your
- 1:02:29feeling in the realm of understanding
- 1:02:31emotional waters and those two partner
- 1:02:33together allows the message to land.
- 1:02:35Mhm.
- 1:02:36Like I understand what you're saying and
- 1:02:39it lands in a very grounded, practical,
- 1:02:42helpful way for my mind to digest so my
- 1:02:45body can receive it. Yes.
- 1:02:47That's all I'm doing. You're like how
- 1:02:49can you teach people to meditate? All
- 1:02:51I'm doing like honestly like I don't
- 1:02:53teach a one-day meditation course but I
- 1:02:54could because it's not hard. It is
- 1:02:57simple.
- 1:02:58But people confuse simplicity with
- 1:03:01ease, right? It's not easy. It's simple
- 1:03:04but it's not easy. So and you most of
- 1:03:07what I'm doing in my course is is
- 1:03:09getting people's intellect to catch up
- 1:03:11to why they should devote their most
- 1:03:14valuable resource which is their time
- 1:03:16and their attention to sitting still and
- 1:03:19still and doing nothing. Now we're not
- 1:03:21doing nothing, okay? Just like when you
- 1:03:23go to sleep at night you ain't doing
- 1:03:24nothing. If anyone has read Why We Sleep
- 1:03:27you know that we are not doing nothing.
- 1:03:29You go like three days without sleep and
- 1:03:30you like increase your chances of cancer
- 1:03:32by a zillion percent or something. Like
- 1:03:33sleep is imperative for the body's
- 1:03:35restorative processes. You're not doing
- 1:03:38anything. You are not doing anything
- 1:03:40when you're sleeping but body is healing
- 1:03:42very, very elegantly. Same thing is true
- 1:03:45in this style of meditation. You're not
- 1:03:47doing anything. You're not visualizing,
- 1:03:49you're not chanting, you're not praying,
- 1:03:51you're not breathing. You're not doing
- 1:03:54anything but your body sure is. Like
- 1:03:57body goes into this deeply restful
- 1:03:59state. Um the the neuroplasticity starts
- 1:04:02to increase between the right and left
- 1:04:03hemispheres of the brain which
- 1:04:04strengthens the corpus callosum which is
- 1:04:06the bridge between the right and left
- 1:04:08hemispheres. So left brain is in charge
- 1:04:10of individuality but right brain is in
- 1:04:11charge of totality. And most of us like
- 1:04:14you said there is sort of either or.
- 1:04:15We're either like fully here in the 3D
- 1:04:17totally stressing about our taxes and
- 1:04:19traffic or we're just like it's fine.
- 1:04:21I'm going to manifest on my vision board
- 1:04:23and I'm never going to go to work again.
- 1:04:24And to have this like simultaneity of
- 1:04:27like I know how to pray and I know how
- 1:04:29to move my feet. This is quite rare and
- 1:04:32it's why I love this tradition so much
- 1:04:34and it's why I love this practice so
- 1:04:35much is because it puts equal weight on
- 1:04:38both the human and the divine, the right
- 1:04:40brain and the left and that the practice
- 1:04:42itself is about merging the two
- 1:04:45together.
- 1:04:45Mhm. Which is that beautiful awakened
- 1:04:47state which is what we see depicted as
- 1:04:49the third eye, the eye of Horus. It's
- 1:04:52it's right in between the left and the
- 1:04:53right hemispheres, the masculine and the
- 1:04:55feminine poles of the uh uh lobes of the
- 1:04:58brain which sits in the center point
- 1:05:00which is the third eye to be able to see
- 1:05:01beyond the illusion and beyond the veil
- 1:05:03of the distortion of everything we've
- 1:05:04been told up until this point that's not
- 1:05:06in vibrational alignment with our truth
- 1:05:07or the direction that we're supposed to
- 1:05:08be moving in. Um
- 1:05:10and so it sits there for a reason.
- 1:05:13And I think we can get caught up in this
- 1:05:16this narrative of thinking that what's
- 1:05:17female or feminine is to females and
- 1:05:19masculine is to males. Like it's they're
- 1:05:21so far from that. It is it's a
- 1:05:23recognition of energetics within our own
- 1:05:25psyche and the rebalancing of those
- 1:05:27pieces so that we can activate that
- 1:05:28awakened state that is that beautiful
- 1:05:30sweet balance right between the two.
- 1:05:32So I just want to say thank you, thank
- 1:05:34you, thank you, thank you, thank you for
- 1:05:35the work that you've done to align those
- 1:05:37two um lobes of your brain and to be
- 1:05:40able to create service from that space
- 1:05:42and spaces for other people to be able
- 1:05:44to meet themselves in an empowered
- 1:05:45nature because that's what's going to
- 1:05:46take. And the only way that your
- 1:05:49teachings and what it is that you share
- 1:05:51can really land is from that place of
- 1:05:53embodiment that we talked about before
- 1:05:55and it is uh landing and it is impacting
- 1:05:58so many people. 50,000 people that have
- 1:06:01gone through your program. Holy [ __ ]
- 1:06:02that's so many humans. Um from your
- 1:06:05books to
- 1:06:07um to you standing on stage and your
- 1:06:09activations to your pleasure practice to
- 1:06:11the meditation courses to your
- 1:06:13sisterhood, to being a mother, to being
- 1:06:15a lover and to being a um and now a
- 1:06:18podcast host as well which is so
- 1:06:20exciting.

- 1:07:28like when you find something that's so
- 1:07:30good and you have that thought like why
- 1:07:31isn't everyone doing this? So we're
- 1:07:33going to examine those and then and then
