- 0:02that comes here, the intent is to get
- 0:04them here and make them believers.
- 0:08>> It's the people that you work with that
- 0:10really make it unique and individual.
- 0:16>> This one is Glendale Fused Ballpark,
- 0:19a five-story building with pool on the
- 0:21rooftop.
- 0:23>> It's the wave of the future, you know,
- 0:25building everything in a factory and
- 0:26then bringing them out here and stacking
- 0:28[music] them up. vicious. It's really
- 0:29breaking the mold.
- 0:34>> There's lots of potential for people to
- 0:36uh be able to climb the ladder.
- 0:38>> My name is Daniel Griffin Glassass and I
- 0:40am a project manager. Everyone who I've
- 0:43interacted with has been very
- 0:44forthcoming with wanting to help,
- 0:46answering any questions. So, it's really
- 0:47just making sure that you're willing to
- 0:49ask those questions and being and being
- 0:50open to receiving the information.
- 0:52>> I'm Angela and I'm a project engineer. I
- 0:55like people that are neat, organized,
- 0:58and they get their job done [music] and
- 1:00have fun doing it. And that's absolutely
- 1:03what all of my co-workers do.
- 1:05>> I am Ezekiel Roman, and my role here is
- 1:08site superintendent. [music] Nothing is
- 1:10repetitive out here. It's always
- 1:12something new. Every year is a new
- 1:13challenge.
- 1:15We all work together. We all make it
- 1:17happen. Come up with new ideas, new
- 1:19builds, [music] new fabs, you name it.
- 1:21I'm Peter Veriki. I'm the director of
- 1:22construction at Zod. When I'm trying to
- 1:24hire someone, I look for someone who's
- 1:26highly collaborative, who has that
- 1:28accountability, who has that [music]
- 1:29drive for success, and who wants to do
- 1:32the right thing, but also the patience
- 1:35to do it.
- 1:37My name is Bruno, and I'm a mainland
- 1:39manager.
- 1:41To be honest, I forced myself to learn.
- 1:43Um, I wanted to excel my career. I get
- 1:46to have a really good coach who is like,
- 1:49Bruno, you can make it. I can see it on
- 1:51you. You have the potential. and they
- 1:53actually um empowered me to do it. Um
- 1:57they saw my potential and offered me a
- 2:00position um leading a team. So I took it
- 2:10for people that are coming right out of
- 2:11college. Uh we don't put them behind a
- 2:14desk. Brandon Rickman, vice president of
- 2:17construction. Our interns are actually
- 2:20kicking dirt with us. They're going to
- 2:21immediately go out. They're going to
- 2:22have a mentor. They're going to be
- 2:23assigned to a team and they're going to
- 2:25be out there and they're going to be
- 2:26doing the work. Uh, which is actually
- 2:29the most important thing in
- 2:30construction, hands-on experience.
- 2:33>> I honestly just enjoy being around
- 2:35construction and seeing like the
- 2:36progress made. My name is Zach Simson.
- 2:39I'm a project engineering intern here at
- 2:41Zod.
- 2:43When I first started, everyone was
- 2:45constantly reaching out like saying,
- 2:48"Hey, if you ever need any help, come
- 2:50find me." There was a lot of people who
- 2:52just wanted to see me succeed.
- 2:55>> My name is Nick Shamry and I'm an
- 2:57industrial engineering intern for ZMOD.
- 3:00It is really cool to get tasks and
- 3:03projects where it has direct impact on
- 3:06the company and within our plant. Coming
- 3:09in here as an intern has just shown me
- 3:12where I will want to go for my future
- 3:15career.
- 3:18The ideal person that CM modular needs,
- 3:22it will be somebody that takes ownership
- 3:23of what he does, somebody that takes
- 3:26initiative and um I will say somebody
- 3:30that takes safety at his number one and
- 3:33a job site.
- 3:35We have uh projects slated out for
- 3:38manufacturing [music]
- 3:39until 2030. Um, and and by the time we
- 3:42get to 2030, we'll have another five
- 3:43years [music] planned out.
- 3:47>> We run every day. We work very, very
- 3:49hard. We have fun, but we're cutting
- 3:52edge and we're doing something the
- 3:53world's not doing. And we've just begun.
- 3:58Anybody that comes in here with an open
- 4:00mind and is ambitious, we will 100% take
- 4:03them and and
- 4:04>> [music]
- 4:04>> uh and help them grow.
