- 0:00This man is shocked to discover that the
- 0:01fake university he created has attracted
- 0:04hundreds of students. The tuition alone
- 0:06brings in millions of dollars. His
- 0:08friend suggests taking the money and
- 0:09running away, but Bartleby refuses. He
- 0:12gathers all the students and walks onto
- 0:13the stage ready to tell them the truth,
- 0:15but suddenly one student stands up and
- 0:17shouts, "Because South Harmon accepted
- 0:19me, my parents are proud of me for the
- 0:21first time." Many other students say
- 0:22similar things. Bartleby is stunned. He
- 0:24was planning to tell everyone the truth,
- 0:26but instead he begins giving a
- 0:28passionate speech. He tells everyone
- 0:30that at South Harmon they can do what
- 0:31they want. They can study what they
- 0:33want, and they can truly be themselves.
- 0:35After hearing this, all the students
- 0:37excitedly stand up, but Bartleby's
- 0:38friend Sherman is freaking out because
- 0:40South Harmon [music] is a fake
- 0:42university. There are no teachers, and
- 0:44no one is actually running the school.
- 0:45So, Bartleby secretly sneaks into a
- 0:47class [music] at the real Harmon
- 0:49University next door. He wants to see
- 0:51how real college teachers teach, but he
- 0:53discovers that the professor simply sits
- 0:55at the front and reads from the
- 0:56textbook. He does not care about the
- 0:58students at all. Even worse, in some
- 1:00public [music] classes the professor
- 1:01does not even show up. Students only
- 1:03listen to recorded lectures through
- 1:05speakers. Bartleby is confused. Is this
- 1:07really the college experience every
- 1:09student wants? He decides to change
- 1:11everything. So, he returns to his own
- 1:13university. He gives the students a
- 1:14marker and asks [music] them to write on
- 1:16the board what they want to study. Then
- 1:18Bartleby buys the equipment they need
- 1:20for those subjects, and the teachers are
- 1:22simply students who are good at those
- 1:23subjects. Just like that, at South
- 1:25Harmon you can be the teacher in a
- 1:27skateboarding class, and you can also be
- 1:29a student in a cooking class. Everyone
- 1:30gets to use what they are good at, but
- 1:32trouble soon arrives. The president of
- 1:34Harmon University discovers that a fake
- 1:36university with a similar name has
- 1:38opened right next door. So, he has
- 1:40Sherman kidnapped.
- 1:41>> [music]
- 1:41>> From Sherman's computer, they get the
- 1:43contact information for all the
- 1:44students' parents. The next day, all the
- 1:47parents are invited to the school. In
- 1:48front of everyone, the president of
- 1:50Harmon University announces that South
- 1:52Harmon is fake. After the truth comes
- 1:54out, all the The are taken home by their
- 1:56parents. The next day, Bartleby receives
- 1:58a hearing notice from the state
- 1:59education board. He takes one look at
- 2:01[music] it and immediately notices a
- 2:03huge loophole. As long as he can prove
- 2:05that South Harmon is a real university,
- 2:07he will not be charged. At the hearing,
- 2:09all the students from South Harmon come
- 2:11to watch. Even now, they still believe
- 2:13South Harmon is a real university. The
- 2:15chairman of the board says that [music]
- 2:16a university needs three things:
- 2:18facilities, courses, and teachers. He
- 2:21asks Bartleby if South Harmon has all
- 2:23three. Bartleby explains that when it
- 2:25comes to facilities, he buys whatever
- 2:26the students need. For the courses,
- 2:28[music]
- 2:28he has the students bring in the board
- 2:30covered with everything they want to
- 2:31learn. Then Bartleby starts talking
- 2:33about the teachers. At that [music]
- 2:34moment, every student in the room stands
- 2:36up. Because at South Harmon, every
- 2:38student is also a teacher. In the end,
- 2:40the chairman announces that South Harmon
- 2:41will be allowed to operate for 1 year to
- 2:43test its teaching method.
