4. 0:07you don't talk about the happy people in
5. 0:10the trans community and how these
6. 0:13preventative measures of let's say like
7. 0:14puberty and the surgeries that go for
8. 0:18gender affirmation and how these are
9. 0:21life-changing and life-saving I know
10. 0:24many people how do you know oh okay one
11. 0:26second if I can finish my conversation
12. 0:29um
13. 0:30many people in my life have had these
14. 0:34interventions made and it's saved their
15. 0:37lives I can list dozens of people in my
16. 0:39life
17. 0:40so what do you have to say for you can
18. 0:42you can list dozens of people who had
19. 0:45surgeries and drugs as children would be
20. 0:47dead today if they hadn't I'm sorry let
21. 0:50me rephrase that dozens of people who
22. 0:52have had interventions including gender
23. 0:55affirming let's say therapies
24. 0:58um yes hormones surgeries that have made
25. 1:03their lives better I'm not saying it
26. 1:04didn't force them to commit suicide but
27. 1:07it made their lives better what do you
28. 1:09have to say for the happy trans
29. 1:10community

32. 1:15you first because the burden of proof is
33. 1:18on you on this one and I'll explain why
34. 1:21the burden of proof is on you because as
35. 1:23I went over in the talk
36. 1:25um for thousands of years human beings
37. 1:28existed and there was no such thing as
38. 1:31trying to medically transition
39. 1:33people into another gender
40. 1:35and as far as we know there was no
41. 1:38suicide epidemic because of it
42. 1:40and then in the last few years people
43. 1:42like yourself have come along and said
44. 1:44we desperately need to do this or people
45. 1:46will be in Despair and they might kill
46. 1:48themselves so you are making a claim
47. 1:51that contradicts
48. 1:53Common Sense Science Biology also the
49. 1:56entire experience of the whole history
50. 1:58of human race and so what that means is
51. 2:00that the burden of proof is on you to
52. 2:03support it and so I'm going to ask you
53. 2:05you said that people need this stuff so
54. 2:07they can live happier lives and
55. 2:09potentially it'd be life-saving you said

57. 2:13aside from your anecdotes of your
58. 2:15friends who told you so
59. 2:17how do you know that okay so
60. 2:20um thinking back to when I was 16 in an
61. 2:22anatomy class when I learned that
62. 2:25um transgender people tend to have the
63. 2:26brain structure that confirms their
64. 2:29identity that they identify with and you
65. 2:31can look that up I will look that up

68. 2:37not a fact should we all pull out Google
69. 2:38really quick look
70. 2:40um so you're saying a trans man has the
71. 2:42brain of a woman

73. 2:47I'm saying that a trans man who
74. 2:49identifies as a man will tend to have
75. 2:52similar brain structure that a CIS man
76. 2:55would
77. 2:57and where did you get that from
78. 3:00look it up I it's literally I I'm
79. 3:02telling you I learned it from my anatomy
80. 3:05class when I was 16 and I looked up the
81. 3:08fact before I walked up here because I
82. 3:10knew that you'd ask okay

86. 3:19question so let's try to stay focused on

92. 3:31which is chemical castration of a child
93. 3:33just just one example yeah is
94. 3:35life-saving it can be how do you know
95. 3:38because there are children who have been
96. 3:41suicidal that have had these
97. 3:43interventions made what children how do
98. 3:45you know and how many children have had
99. 3:47that done
100. 3:49me personally I haven't met enough trans
101. 3:51children to answer that question okay
102. 3:53but I know you are making research
103. 3:54exists
104. 3:55you're making this statement you're
105. 3:57stating it as a fact in front of all
106. 3:58these people there must be a reason it
107. 4:00must be something that you encountered
108. 4:01that that led you to this
109. 4:03rather radical conclusion that to save a
110. 4:06child's life you have to chemically
111. 4:07castrate them
112. 4:09okay well that is what you just said the
113. 4:12drugs we give to kids for for puberty
114. 4:14blockers so-called Purity blockers
115. 4:15originally are cancer drugs used to
116. 4:17treat prostate cancer they're also used
117. 4:19to chemically castrate sex offenders and
118. 4:21child rapists now we give them to
119. 4:23physically healthy kids you're saying
120. 4:25that we need to do that or they will die
121. 4:29and so one last time I'm going to ask
122. 4:30you what evidence do you have of that
123. 4:33remarkable claim
124. 4:36I don't think I claimed that every child
125. 4:39would benefit from that no I didn't say
126. 4:42you did and okay
127. 4:44you said puberty blockers are
128. 4:46life-saving whatever they can be
129. 4:49um so the evidence is the encounters
130. 4:51with patients who have had these
131. 4:53procedures done and it has saved their I
132. 4:56don't want to say it saved their lives
133. 4:57but it has made their lives better I
134. 4:59can't confirm whether or not they're
135. 5:01alive right this second
136. 5:03but there are children that it has
137. 5:05helped so what do you have to say for
138. 5:07the happy trans Community who has
139. 5:09benefited from these procedures that's
140. 5:11my question is that your entire question
141. 5:14is built on a whole stack of false
142. 5:16premises that you that you can't begin
143. 5:17to even remotely defend so I I it's it
144. 5:21is a it's a faulty question from the
145. 5:23start I I reject your premise I I
146. 5:27absolutely reject that there are any
147. 5:29kids who need to be chemically castrated
148. 5:31in order to be happy okay okay let's
