- 0:00Hello everyone. We're continuing our
- 0:01search for personal style. This is the
- 0:03second video on this topic. If you
- 0:05haven't seen the first part, I highly
- 0:07recommend you return to it. In the
- 0:09first part, we created a personal style
- 0:11outline, answered important questions
- 0:13about ourselves, touched on proportions
- 0:15and body types, and, most importantly,
- 0:17created a system of personal filters.
- 0:19Today, we'll have a very interesting,
- 0:21nostalgic task. I suggest we revisit
- 0:25our past, our old outfits, because your
- 0:27style is a set of patterns formed based
- 0:29on your personal experience, your
- 0:31habits, and your repeated choices. When
- 0:35you choose clothes over the years, you
- 0:36unconsciously accumulate data about
- 0:38what's comfortable for you, what you
- 0:40like, what works in your life, and what
- 0:42doesn't. This data turns into habits.
- 0:45And habits create patterns, repeating
- 0:47elements, which form the basis of your
- 0:50style. The problem is that we often
- 0:52don't see these patterns. We simply
- 0:54wear what we're used to. And old
- 0:56photographs can help you with this,
- 0:58because they essentially serve as an
- 0:59archive of your choices over the years.
- 1:01And when you start analyzing them, you
- 1:04see patterns you might not have noticed
- 1:06before. To find something, you need to
- 1:08at least have a rough idea of what
- 1:10we're looking for. First, any recurring
- 1:12elements: items, silhouettes, colors,
- 1:15or techniques. We need to find a logic.
- 1:18We also look for any elements that can
- 1:21inspire you now. Again, these could be
- 1:23things you've forgotten about, colors
- 1:26that really suit you or just like,
- 1:28hairstyles, makeup—basically,
- 1:29anything. Any ideas. We also need to
- 1:32notice unsuccessful moments so as not
- 1:34to repeat them in the future. And this
- 1:37is simply useful for our development,
- 1:39for our perceptiveness. That is, we
- 1:41don't just say, "How awful, how could I
- 1:43have worn this before?" but think about
- 1:46why it's awful and how it could be
- 1:48corrected. That's our plan. You can
- 1:51start right from childhood photos. When
- 1:53we are children or teenagers, we don't
- 1:56yet have such a fear of judgment, there
- 1:58are no dress codes, no negative
- 2:00attitudes. We dress intuitively, based
- 2:02on personal feelings. And this is very
- 2:04interesting. Today, we'll be going over
- 2:07my old looks so you can use my example
- 2:09to understand how the analysis is
- 2:10structured and what to do with this
- 2:12information. I won't focus on childhood
- 2:15photos, but there's one important point
- 2:17. I was born in 1993, and as you might
- 2:20have guessed, my childhood spanned the
- 2:211990s and early 2000s. Things were
- 2:24tight back then. Not just with clothes,
- 2:26but that's what we're interested in
- 2:27today. It was hard to find anything
- 2:30pretty, so my mother sewed all my
- 2:31going-out clothes, dresses, and New
- 2:33Year's costumes. She's not a
- 2:36professional seamstress, but if needed,
- 2:38she'll sew and make anything, out of
- 2:40anything. Basically, I've been used to
- 2:42the idea since childhood that if you
- 2:44need something really cool, interesting
- 2:46, and striking, but for some reason you
- 2:48can't buy it, it can be sewn or made.
- 2:51So, throughout today's video, you'll
- 2:53often see things that were either sewn
- 2:55by my mother, or by me, or custom-made
- 2:57for me. I can write down this point
- 3:01about my personal style right away.
- 3:03Before we continue, I want to show you
- 3:06my new Armobox from Rendezvous.
- 3:08Armoboxes are my favorite format.
- 3:11They're sets of samples in a single
- 3:13theme, for example, scents of purity,
- 3:15citrus notes, woody notes, powdery
- 3:17notes, and so on. There are also
- 3:19Armoboxes by season, by mood or
- 3:21occasion, even by zodiac sign. And, of
- 3:24course, there are single-brand ones too
- 3:25. Tom Ford, Jo Malon, Monta, and many
- 3:28other popular brands. Each set contains
- 3:31eight mini-bottles of 1.5 ml. This is
- 3:34definitely enough to try out a
- 3:36fragrance. You can wear the same
- 3:38perfume for several days. Eight
- 3:40fragrances cover different preferences.
- 3:42And I think everyone will find
- 3:44something suitable here. This time, I
- 3:46decided to get acquainted with the top
- 3:48popular fragrances for her. There is a
- 3:50fragrance here that I am already
- 3:52familiar with: a replica of "by the
- 3:54fireplace" by Margiela. A warm, woody,
- 3:57ambery, slightly spicy scent.
- 3:59Reminiscent of a campfire and roasted
- 4:02chestnuts with vanilla. That's actually
- 4:04why I love wearing it in the fall and
- 4:06winter. Ari by Ariana Grand is also
- 4:09very pretty. It's light, girlish, sweet
- 4:12, and floral-fruity. Reminiscent of
- 4:14cotton candy or marshmallows. Dolchoban
- 4:17Light Blue is a real hit. I love it.
- 4:20Especially that bright lemon at the top
- 4:22. But it also unfolds beautifully. For
- 4:25me, it's the perfect watercolor-fresh
- 4:28scent for summer. Libra by EF San Laran
- 4:31is called the perfect date scent, but
- 4:34it's truly languid, luxurious, classy,
- 4:37truly heavy luxury. Imagine any model
- 4:41shown. That's exactly what it smells
- 4:43like. The set includes four other
- 4:45luxurious fragrances from Chanel, RMS,
- 4:47Lanba, and Zic Valter. I highly
- 4:50recommend testing them too. This box is
- 4:53available exclusively on randevu.ru,
- 4:55and promo code 10 Evgeniya gives you an
- 4:57additional 10%discount on the entire
- 5:00selection. It's reusable and valid
- 5:02indefinitely and can be combined with
- 5:04all other discounts and promotions on
- 5:06the site. There's a lot of useful and
- 5:09interesting stuff there, including
- 5:10perfumes, cosmetics, hair care and
- 5:12decorative products, and much more. As
- 5:15usual, I've already left all the links
- 5:17in the description. I'll show you a few
- 5:20more interesting children's looks and
- 5:21then we'll move on to the adults. In
- 5:23the first and second photos, I'm about
- 5:241910, 2002 or 2003. I love everything
- 5:26here, it's pure WhiteK. But especially
- 5:32the combination in the second photo.
- 5:35Flared jeans and square-toe mules. The
- 5:38geometry is very beautiful. I'll keep
- 5:40them in mind. In the last photo, I'm 13
- 5:41years old. 2006. A very unusual
- 5:43shirtdress, with something like a
- 5:45balloon skirt underneath. I wore this
- 5:48dress with either black below-the-knee
- 5:50leggings or jeans. I could wear it like
- 5:54this now, but with jeans, horseshoes,
- 5:56or those rounded-out burls. I think it
- 5:59would look great. I wish I could bring
- 6:02back 2007. It's a shame most of the
- 6:04outfits haven't survived. It was
- 6:07something special. The first look is
- 6:09nothing special. That photo is from
- 6:11September 1st. But I really loved that
- 6:13white shirt with the imitation vest. I
- 6:15wore it outside of school, even to a
- 6:18rock concert. That person in white
- 6:21tights and black suit shorts—that's
- 6:22me. I still really love the combination
- 6:25of black and white. The second look has
- 6:28those same short Aladdins that are
- 6:30still popular now. The low-rise denim
- 6:33is just right. I wouldn't wear it like
- 6:35that now, but I like that the look has
- 6:37interesting details. The headband, the
- 6:39jewelry around the neck, the print on
- 6:41the T-shirt and sneakers, and the cut
- 6:42of the pants themselves are unusual. I
- 6:45want to move on to the last look right
- 6:46now. I didn't like the combination of
- 6:49skinny jeans and short shoes. I wanted
- 6:51to somehow widen the hem. So I put
- 6:53sweater sleeves on the jeans. In the
- 6:56other photos, I'm already about 16. I
- 6:58really like the haircut, but it needs
- 7:00constant styling. I'm definitely not
- 7:02ready for that right now. And white
- 7:04suits me. Here, it highlights my tan.
- 7:08This is already 2011 from the Voice of
- 7:10Hipsterism. The cocoon coat is
- 7:12incredibly stylish. My mother made it
- 7:14for me. It's hard to see here, but the
- 7:16shape was definitely a cocoon. In the
- 7:18spring and fall, I wore this coat with
- 7:21red rubber boots, and instead of a
- 7:22scarf, I wore a shawl like Pavel
- 7:24Posadsky's. If you combine these photos
- 7:27, you get the perfect look. I've never
- 7:29seen anything like it anywhere. The
- 7:31styling, in my opinion, is very
- 7:33successful. I certainly wouldn't dress
- 7:35like that now, and such a dark green
- 7:37isn't really my color. But I still love
- 7:39small pops of red. The first look is my
- 7:42favorite sweater. My mom knitted it,
- 7:44too. It's oversized, incredibly warm,
- 7:47and has a really long collar. You could
- 7:49even wear it over your head like a hood
- 7:51without the scarf. It's a little weird,
- 7:54but I like it. Back then, I often wore
- 7:57this thin summer minidress as a base
- 7:59layer. It's that same comfortable,
- 8:02casual layering that I still love. The
- 8:05second photo is also a coat, but here I
- 8:07added a gray scarf and a long belt,
- 8:09along with a braid from a cardigan, and
- 8:11wore it as a scarf. It created such an
- 8:14unusual layered effect. After that, I
- 8:17was busy with school and dressed very
- 8:19simply. There's nothing particularly
- 8:21interesting to see here, so I suggest
- 8:24we jump straight to 2015 and 2016. I
- 8:26was still in graduate school, but I was
- 8:29gradually starting to find my own style
- 8:31. It's a pretty basic look, but cleaner
- 8:35and fresher. I also like the
- 8:37combination of pale pink and light gray
- 8:40. Incidentally, back then, I started
- 8:42getting into cosmetics and makeup, and
- 8:44I even had my own small online store
- 8:46with matte lipsticks: Lime CE, Dos of
- 8:48Colors, Color Pop, La Splash, and so on
- 8:50. I ordered cosmetics from the US
- 8:52through intermediaries, and also
- 8:54clothes for myself. I even considered
- 8:56starting a beauty blog, but then I
- 8:58decided I was bad at applying makeup, I
- 9:00didn't know how to do anything, and I
- 9:01never posted those photos anywhere. The
- 9:04photo in the center is my Pinterest
- 9:05reference, so you can roughly imagine
- 9:07what the trends were at the time. I
- 9:09ordered the same jacket from Shvi. We
- 9:11couldn't find fabric in that shade, so
- 9:13we had to make it from what we had. It
- 9:15looked nice, but the look itself was a
- 9:18bit boring. I also had this black
- 9:20asymmetrical kimano custom-made. On the
- 9:23right is a photo from Pinterest, on the
- 9:24left is the one that's wider for me.
- 9:26It's exactly the same, only longer,
- 9:28just like I asked. I don't have any
- 9:30normal photos of this kimano on me,
- 9:32only these vibey ones where you can't
- 9:34see anything. Back then, I loved all
- 9:37sorts of thin capes, kimanos, and long
- 9:39cardigans, but now I prefer to
- 9:40emphasize my shoulders, and I'd prefer
- 9:42something thicker. In 2017, my looks
- 9:45became noticeably better and more
- 9:47interesting. I mixed trendy modern
- 9:50pieces with ASUS and vintage. Back then
- 9:53, I was already starting to take an
- 9:54interest in fashion and trends. And
- 9:56here we see leopard loafers with a pony
- 9:58fur texture. I remember very well that
- 10:01leopard was one of the trends that year
- 10:03. Here you can already see that I
- 10:05created complete, well-thought-out
- 10:07looks, combining different styles,
- 10:08adding color, print, and texture. And,
- 10:11by the way, my mom and I made a basket
- 10:13bag ourselves out of paper. It's a
- 10:15truly niche hobby. It's called paper
- 10:18wicker weaving. The inner pouch and
- 10:20handles, of course, are made of leather
- 10:22. That same year, I bought my first
- 10:24trench coat. And it's still my favorite
- 10:27piece of clothing. Not this particular
- 10:29one, but any long trench coat in
- 10:31general. As you can see, all the
- 10:33outfits follow roughly the same formula
- 10:36: jeans, a vintage T-shirt or
- 10:37sweatshirt with a print, a more formal
- 10:40jacket or trench coat, plus sneakers or
- 10:42loafers. In principle, I can still use
- 10:46this formula. In 2018, my boyfriend and
- 10:51I opened our own vintage store. We sold
- 10:54mainly tracksuits, jackets,
- 10:55windbreakers, overalls, everything in
- 10:57that style. I didn't dress like that.
- 11:01This photo is purely for sale. But I've
- 11:04incorporated some more relaxed pieces
- 11:06into my wardrobe. I could wear this
- 11:09right now. I love pairing relaxed
- 11:12pieces with structured outerwear or
- 11:14tailored shoes, but I'd swap the trench
- 11:16coat for an oversized one. The
- 11:18sweatshirt here is obviously bulkier
- 11:20and larger than the trench coat, which
- 11:22is why the sleeves stick out so
- 11:23unflatteringly. I'd also remove the
- 11:25black bag. There are no other black
- 11:27elements here, so it stands out too
- 11:29much. It's a real dark spot. Otherwise,
- 11:33I really like the style and the shades.
- 11:36The bag fits perfectly here. And the
- 11:38outfit itself is unusual, the
- 11:40combination of styles. The shoulders
- 11:42have a clear line and even a little
- 11:44flare, the waist is accentuated, and
- 11:46the skirt also suits me well. I bought
- 11:48the skirt and jacket at a second-hand
- 11:50store for next to nothing. No one
- 11:52wanted to take them because they're
- 11:53downright old-fashioned, but you
- 11:55wouldn't know that from this look. The
- 11:57second photo shows a really cool
- 11:59printed T-shirt. We made the print
- 12:00ourselves. Before the thrift store, my
- 12:03boyfriend and I had our own small
- 12:04shopping center. We closed it, but kept
- 12:06the equipment. So we could print the
- 12:09T-shirts ourselves. I wanted the print
- 12:12to be something unusual and cool, but
- 12:14also look aged. So I simply searched
- 12:17vintage Japanese magazines on Pinterest
- 12:19in English and found these pictures.
- 12:21Then we printed them on T-shirts, not
- 12:23to sell, but just to wear ourselves.
- 12:26The basket bag was supposed to be an
- 12:28interesting addition, but it's kind of
- 12:30weird. I bought it at a flea market. It
- 12:33definitely needs to be replaced. In the
- 12:36next look, I love the combination of
- 12:38black and cream. And it's cool that the
- 12:41top is black and the bottom is light,
- 12:42and not the other way around, as we're
- 12:43all used to. And I recently shared
- 12:46another idea of hers in a video about
- 12:48summer hacks: a bag in a string bag. I
- 12:51threw a regular small vintage handbag
- 12:53into a string bag. It's very convenient
- 12:55. You can easily put all your things in
- 12:58there: cards, keys, phone, and nothing
- 13:00will fall out. Incidentally, I knitted
- 13:03the string bag myself. They were
- 13:04popular back then among street stylers
- 13:07and fashion bloggers, but I didn't see
- 13:09them for sale. The first photo is one
- 13:12of my favorites. The geometry here is
- 13:14absolutely gorgeous. Natalia's belted
- 13:17trench coat is created by Xilét, with
- 13:19such a clean hem. The flared jeans echo
- 13:21the trench coat's hemline. Plus, the
- 13:24cat-eye sunglasses and rectangular bag
- 13:26add a touch of geometry. If the toe on
- 13:29the ankle boots were square or pointed,
- 13:31the look would be even more daring. But
- 13:33the current version with a round toe
- 13:35works great too. It doesn't overwhelm
- 13:38and makes the outfit more wearable. By
- 13:40the way, to complement the trench coat,
- 13:42I also have a T-shirt with a print that
- 13:44we applied ourselves. I also love that
- 13:46the ankle boots and bag match the print
- 13:48in color. I also love patent leather
- 13:51and plain smooth leather. It's one of
- 13:54my favorite materials. The only thing
- 13:56that annoys me is the white buttons on
- 13:58the trench coat. It would be much
- 14:00better without them. The second look is
- 14:03also nice, but it's plain and unclear
- 14:05what kind of bag it was. I'd add a big
- 14:08dark brown one here. I don't wear heels
- 14:12at all now, so all these looks are out
- 14:14of fashion for me, but leather,
- 14:15including patent leather, is definitely
- 14:17something I'm keeping in mind. In 2019,
- 14:20we expanded our vintage store's
- 14:22selection, starting selling sweaters,
- 14:24trench coats, and coats. And that
- 14:27certainly affected my style. I had high
- 14:30hopes for this sweater. I was sure it
- 14:32would sell quickly. But our audience
- 14:34didn't appreciate it, and it didn't
- 14:35sell for a long time. I freaked out and
- 14:38took it for myself. I wasn't really
- 14:40into flowers, and any floral theme is
- 14:42absolutely not my thing. But here it's
- 14:44black and white, and I can't resist
- 14:46that combination. Black jeans with
- 14:49white stitching are so cool, but now I
- 14:51see that they fit me wrong.
- 14:53High-waisted jeans were trendy back
- 14:55then, and everyone wore them that way.
- 14:57But this particular style should sit
- 14:59lower. Plus, they should be wider and
- 15:01longer. Basically, two or three sizes
- 15:04up would be perfect. It's like I stole
- 15:06them from a teenage boy from the late '
- 15:0890s or early' 00s. These jeans are
- 15:11essentially the "big brother" aesthetic
- 15:13, as they call it now. I like the idea
- 15:15of this look. It's an interesting mix
- 15:18of styles, but the fit is certainly not
- 15:20the best. The first look might seem
- 15:22strange to you, but there's something
- 15:24to it. I bought the Long Slv at a flea
- 15:26market for 20 rubles. The front had a
- 15:28terrible cutout, so I wore it backwards
- 15:30. Regular men's black trousers with a
- 15:33belt and python-skin boots. That's when
- 15:35I fell in love with the reptile print.
- 15:37And I still absolutely love it. True,
- 15:39it's hard to find decent pieces.
- 15:41Another material I really love in
- 15:43outfits is metal. In 2019, the fashion
- 15:46house Karaban sent out these bags to
- 15:48all the major bloggers. And I needed
- 15:50one so badly, you can't imagine. So I
- 15:53decided to make, well, some kind of
- 15:55metal bag. I had a metallic top, like
- 15:58this one with a camouflage print. I
- 16:00barely scraped the paint off and made a
- 16:03bag out of it. I added a lining and a
- 16:05chain, and the result is what you see
- 16:07on the screen now. That's the story
- 16:09behind this look. I certainly wouldn't
- 16:11dress like that now, but I'm embracing
- 16:13the snake print and metal. The second
- 16:15look is pretty simple, but I like the
- 16:18denim-on-denim idea. I'm also taking
- 16:20note. Here we see a similar story, only
- 16:23instead of a denim jacket, there's a
- 16:24denim shirt. It's also quite nice.
- 16:26There's a contrast of textures, a
- 16:28fluffy fur coat, and patent leather
- 16:29Cossack boots. Cropped jeans like these
- 16:31were trendy back then, but now I'd
- 16:33replace them with full-length ones. The
- 16:35look itself is great. This outfit was
- 16:39my favorite from 1919. It's so sad I
- 16:41sold this graffiti sweatshirt. I really
- 16:44regret it. Again, it's in the style of
- 16:46its older brother from the 2000s. I
- 16:48always wore this sweatshirt with a
- 16:50white T-shirt, so that the neckline was
- 16:51slightly visible. Leather pants also
- 16:54went great with it. As I already said,
- 16:56I love leather. Vintage square-toe
- 16:58boots also fit perfectly. Now I'd
- 17:01replace them with something with a low
- 17:03heel. Bags were a bit of a problem back
- 17:06then, and I couldn't find anything
- 17:08suitable, so I made this houndstooth
- 17:10print one. If I change the bag and
- 17:13shoes, this look will be right up my
- 17:15alley. The next outfit is also my jam.
- 17:18I really wanted these Calvin Klein and
- 17:20Raf Simons Cossack boots. Maybe someone
- 17:23remembers them. Naturally, I never had
- 17:25the money for them, and I still don't.
- 17:27But I really wanted a pair of shoes
- 17:29with a square metal toe and found these
- 17:31Topsop ankle boots on Asus. They're
- 17:35really striking, and I love metal, but
- 17:37I can't walk in heels, even those thick
- 17:39ones. They gathered dust in my closet
- 17:42for a few years, and I eventually sold
- 17:44them. The whole look is superb. The
- 17:46coat fits me perfectly. It's a vintage
- 17:49herringbone one with a velvet collar.
- 17:50Guess what happened to that? I sold
- 17:53that too. That's the side effect of
- 17:56owning a vintage store. You can
- 17:58seemingly keep everything you want, but
- 18:00when you're desperate and need cash,
- 18:02you sell it all. The last look from
- 18:051919 is not bad, but quite ordinary. I
- 18:07like the contrast of textures. I like
- 18:10that the sweatshirt and joggers are
- 18:11relaxed, and the vintage leather jacket
- 18:13holds its shape. By the way, I strongly
- 18:15advise against the Gez leather-look
- 18:17bags. I bought this one on Avito in
- 18:19perfect condition, with a dust cover,
- 18:20everything as it should be. And it fell
- 18:23apart very quickly. 2020 is one of the
- 18:27most boring years because I started
- 18:29following Instagram, and the trends on
- 18:31that social media have had a huge
- 18:33influence on my style. Before that,
- 18:35there was a trend for Parisian chic.
- 18:37Don't confuse this with the style of
- 18:39real French women. Parisian chic is a
- 18:40trend in content. It's these sleek,
- 18:44romantic looks, curls, gold jewelry,
- 18:46locations with Parisian architecture,
- 18:48summer verandas and terraces, picnics
- 18:51with baguettes and Brie, warmly edited
- 18:53photos, and so on. I knew I hated this
- 18:57style on myself, and I wouldn't dress
- 18:59like that even for content. But I tried
- 19:02using such locations in my content to
- 19:04at least get a little closer to it. But
- 19:06my looks weren't going well. Around the
- 19:09end of 1919, a trend emerged, and most
- 19:12major bloggers began dressing more
- 19:14subduedly, minimalistically, and began
- 19:16choosing simpler locations. Instead of
- 19:19beautiful buildings, it might just be a
- 19:22gray wall. But don't confuse this
- 19:23minimalism with a fashion trend. It's
- 19:25something completely different.
- 19:26Scandinavian bloggers were the first to
- 19:28create this kind of content. For
- 19:30example, Josephine. I liked the trend
- 19:32for minimalism in content much more.
- 19:35These looks are exactly in that style,
- 19:37but then I began simplifying them more
- 19:39and more to fit the trend more closely.
- 19:42Overall, it looks good. It's definitely
- 19:45wearable, but very boring and
- 19:47impersonal. Back then, almost all
- 19:49fashion bloggers, big and small,
- 19:51dressed more or less the same. Even
- 19:53here, the top is interesting, but the
- 19:55look itself is nothing special. I
- 19:58bought a regular bodysuit and cut out
- 19:59the back myself because it was too
- 20:01small, and the cutout stretched the
- 20:03fabric a bit. I went bold with this
- 20:06look and added a bandana. The
- 20:09combination of leather and a matte
- 20:11trench coat really does look good. I
- 20:13like outfits with trench coats because
- 20:15a good long trench coat always saves
- 20:17the day. The last look isn't exactly
- 20:19wow, but it's okay. I started wearing
- 20:22more jewelry here. In 2021, the
- 20:25minimalist trend shifted toward a dark
- 20:27aesthetic, or more accurately, a dark
- 20:30finish. I was one of the first to add
- 20:32color to my tile. This really made my
- 20:35visuals pop, and I started winning SFS.
- 20:38I won everywhere I entered, and that's
- 20:41how I got my first 1,000 followers. Yes
- 20:43, my account looked beautiful, but the
- 20:45outfits themselves weren't. Basically,
- 20:47I just added a blue accent to some of
- 20:49the outfits. Here, in the first outfit,
- 20:51I definitely like the contrast in
- 20:53textures. The second look is denim and
- 20:55denim. I love this combination. I made
- 20:57the skirt myself from jeans. The
- 21:00essence doesn't change much, it's just
- 21:01that this time I have a beautiful
- 21:03shearling coat, which, unfortunately,
- 21:04was too small for me, so I sold it. I
- 21:06would have liked a much larger bag, of
- 21:08course, but I was having trouble with
- 21:10bags back then. I wanted to switch from
- 21:13blue to orange purely for the content.
- 21:16The essence of the look doesn't change.
- 21:18At the same time, I started TikTok and
- 21:20showed how I shoot content and edit
- 21:22photos. TikTok turned out to be a more
- 21:25rewarding platform, and I started
- 21:27gaining more followers there. And I
- 21:29kind of forgot about these clothing
- 21:31trends. I made the corset myself from a
- 21:33sweatshirt. I also altered the jeans,
- 21:36adding reptile-skin inserts. A
- 21:38controversial decision, of course, but
- 21:40at least something interesting. I would
- 21:42have liked a longer trench coat, and I
- 21:44just needed to destroy this bag. But
- 21:47back then, I really had some problems
- 21:49with bags; I couldn't find anything
- 21:50decent for myself. I remade this suit
- 21:53from an oversized blazer. Overall, I
- 21:55like this structured,
- 21:57office-appropriate upper body style. It
- 22:00suits me. And my favorite look from
- 22:022021. It's already winter, the end of
- 22:04the year. A gorgeous black and white
- 22:06jacket from a thrift store. I still
- 22:08have it, as well as these leather pants
- 22:10. The only downside is they're
- 22:12high-waisted. And I'll cut them just
- 22:14like pants. I'd like to find leather
- 22:17pants with a mid-rise, but I'll cut
- 22:19them like jeans. The bag is still the
- 22:21same, wretched one. I'd replace it with
- 22:22a normal, large one and that's it. It's
- 22:282022. I tried to return to that
- 22:29near-minimalism again. I really didn't
- 22:32like it, so I sold the fur coat, even
- 22:33though it's cool and has nothing to do
- 22:35with it. That's it, this terrible phase
- 22:38can be over. Then I started
- 22:40experimenting, but I kept the dark
- 22:42aesthetic with bright color accents in
- 22:45both the visuals and the style. I
- 22:47really like my iconic look. Although
- 22:50it's simple, the hairstyle adds
- 22:51character. I have a tutorial for this
- 22:53hairstyle on TikTok. By the way, I hate
- 22:55doing my hair, but I nailed the trend
- 22:57here. The 2000s trend was just starting
- 23:00to take off on TikTok. Now, I'd tighten
- 23:04the hoodie and tie the drawstrings so
- 23:06there's not so much skin showing,
- 23:08because when everything else is covered
- 23:11, it attracts too much attention. I'd
- 23:14add more jewelry and basically that's
- 23:17it. It might be hard to see here, but
- 23:20I'm wearing an M&Ms jacket, a white
- 23:22shirt, a wine-colored tie, the same
- 23:24leather pants, and vintage sneakers
- 23:25with colorful accents. I really
- 23:28shouldn't have sold the sneakers. I
- 23:30didn't realize how hard it would be to
- 23:32find something like that. I like the
- 23:35overall look. The jacket doesn't fit
- 23:37very well, but it's from a second-hand
- 23:38store, and you can't get a different
- 23:40size there. The last look is simple,
- 23:42but the jacket does the job. I made the
- 23:45skirt myself and finally bought a
- 23:48half-decent bag. In this look, I wish
- 23:51the jacket was more voluminous, but
- 23:53otherwise, everything is super. The
- 23:55gorgeous striped polo shirt is sold out
- 23:57. The jeans are custom. I altered them
- 23:59myself. I think you can see that the
- 24:02part at the bottom that should be on
- 24:04top is also sold out, as are the
- 24:05sneakers. But here I got the size
- 24:08seriously wrong, so I don’t regret a
- 24:09thing. But I want to note that I really
- 24:12like small bright accents on a dark
- 24:15background. The glasses, by the way,
- 24:17are for cycling, that’s why they have
- 24:19such a gorgeous mirror effect. I bought
- 24:21them on Avito, I still have them. This
- 24:24look is nice, but not quite my style.
- 24:27The skirt is also jeans that I altered.
- 24:29I liked how I complemented the orange
- 24:31and pink embroidery on the skirt with
- 24:33the same colors at the top and bottom.
- 24:35I made the jeans myself and then sold
- 24:38them in our store. The cross-dresser is
- 24:40a remade sweatshirt. That was a wrong
- 24:42decision. The sweatshirt was a million
- 24:44times better than the corset. I also
- 24:46don't like the hairstyle in this look.
- 24:49It's just too bland. I started this
- 24:53YouTube channel in 2023, so you've
- 24:55probably seen all these looks before,
- 24:57but let's quickly run through them. I
- 25:00like the combination of black and white
- 25:02and something akin to streetwear with a
- 25:04classic trench coat. And I love
- 25:06oversized looks in general. The hat, by
- 25:08the way, is a child's hat; it was
- 25:10really squeezing my head, so I don't
- 25:11wear it anymore. I knitted the green
- 25:13bag myself, but I think it looks better
- 25:16without it. Everything is perfect.
- 25:17There's also a mix of different styles
- 25:20here. The look seems simple, but the
- 25:22skirt makes it so much cooler. It's
- 25:24really striking. I haven't worn it for
- 25:26two years, so I'll put it on Avito. I
- 25:29might even have already. If anyone
- 25:31wants it, I left a link in the
- 25:32description. The idea itself is good,
- 25:35but I don't like the way this skirt
- 25:37fits. At the time, I was really trying
- 25:39to somehow use my head. I either did my
- 25:42hair or put on a hat. And that's the
- 25:44right approach. A hairdo immediately
- 25:46elevates the level of completeness of
- 25:48the look. Now, unfortunately, I don't
- 25:50do that. It's a cute outfit, but
- 25:53completely uncomfortable. Too much open
- 25:56area, too tight, and heels. It's
- 25:59beautiful, but I wouldn't take it with
- 26:00me. The look is absolutely gorgeous. A
- 26:02mix of styles. An interesting skirt
- 26:04that I made myself. The colors are
- 26:06perfect, but I don't want to wear
- 26:08football jerseys. I'm tired of them.
- 26:10Same thing. Plus, it's not my style at
- 26:13all now. And I didn't like the ribbons
- 26:15in my hair back then. I felt
- 26:17uncomfortable in them. What I like most
- 26:20here is the combination of this muted
- 26:22green with a silver bag. Now I would
- 26:24make a note of that. Well, the outfit
- 26:27itself is nice and striking, but I
- 26:28don't see myself in it anymore. I'd say
- 26:31no to the look with the dress right
- 26:33away. I only bought it because it was
- 26:35ugly in a good way at the thrift store.
- 26:38It was so wrinkled that I thought it
- 26:40was the fabric that gave it that effect
- 26:42. And when I brought it home, washed it
- 26:44, and steamed it, it turned into a
- 26:46regular, pretty dress, and I don't like
- 26:48that anymore. The outfit in the center
- 26:51with the lingerie skirt was ahead of
- 26:53its time. I was saying back then that
- 26:55these styles were trendy, but even on
- 26:57YouTube, no one believed me. The
- 27:00reptile-like boots are certainly chic,
- 27:02but chunky-soled boots would have been
- 27:04better. I really like the color
- 27:07combination, but of these two looks,
- 27:09I'd choose the first one now. It's not
- 27:11wow-worthy, just a normal, stable basic
- 27:13outfit. And finally, I want to show you
- 27:17my favorite look from 2024. In my
- 27:19opinion, everything here is almost
- 27:21flawless. I would wear this outfit
- 27:23right now, but these loafers didn't
- 27:25last until today. I'll be looking for a
- 27:27replacement, because with sneakers it
- 27:29just wouldn't be the same. The pants
- 27:31are custom, I altered them myself, and
- 27:32the T-shirt is also custom. There's
- 27:34even a tutorial on this topic on the
- 27:36channel. I like that it's not a regular
- 27:38white T-shirt, but one with an
- 27:40interesting texture and a compressed
- 27:42effect thanks to the elastic. The
- 27:44jacket's color ties the look together
- 27:46perfectly, but its shape is certainly
- 27:48not perfect. I'd like more volume in
- 27:50the shoulders. The vintage Chloé t-ton
- 27:53bag with a lock is interesting in
- 27:56itself. Plus the jewelry and hair.
- 27:59Before you all run away, I want to
- 28:00share some important information. The
- 28:02third round of my challenge starts on
- 28:05August 3rd. If you've been wanting to
- 28:07participate, now's the time.
- 28:09Registration is now open. All the
- 28:10details are in the description of this
- 28:13video. Like last time, there will be
- 28:15two plans at very reasonable prices,
- 28:16considering we'll be working together
- 28:18for three weeks. What's the gist? Every
- 28:20weekday, I'll give you an assignment to
- 28:23put together an outfit. I'll give you a
- 28:25technique and explain it with text and
- 28:27pictures. These techniques can be
- 28:29incorporated into absolutely any style.
- 28:31Tested on participants in the first and
- 28:33second streams. You create a look based
- 28:35on the assignment and, if you'd like,
- 28:37share it in the chat. I comment on all
- 28:39the looks and answer all questions. If
- 28:42you don't like the look you've created,
- 28:44that's okay. We can brainstorm together
- 28:47how to tweak it, perfect it, so you'll
- 28:49love it. You can watch a separate video
- 28:51about the challenge on my channel. I
- 28:53explained everything in more detail
- 28:55there. I'll leave a link to that video
- 28:57and the reviews in the description. Now
- 28:59, let's recap. For convenience, I've
- 29:03categorized all the information I've
- 29:05gathered and attached images for
- 29:06clarity. You don't have to do this. By
- 29:10analyzing my old photos, I realized
- 29:12what my style is based on. I identified
- 29:16combinations and little tricks that I
- 29:18still like, and I found a style that I
- 29:20can draw inspiration from. Not entirely
- 29:23, but I can borrow some elements. I
- 29:27even made a short list of things I
- 29:29really need. And, as you remember, this
- 29:32was my main request, because I have
- 29:34very few things right now. Naturally,
- 29:37that's not all. In the next part, we'll
- 29:39be putting together personal style mood
- 29:41boards using a specific algorithm. That
- 29:43should also be interesting. Just a
- 29:45reminder that I recently released a
- 29:47lecture on body types. It's available
- 29:49on Boost for a one-time payment, not a
- 29:50subscription. The link is in the
- 29:52description. There's also a link to my
- 29:54Telegram channel. You can subscribe to
- 29:56it too. There's a lot of interesting
- 29:58and useful stuff there. That's all I
- 30:00have for today. Thank you so much for
- 30:02watching, and see you in the next video
- 30:04.
