1. 0:00He shared a very sensitive topic. How
2. 0:02were the month after the whole
3. 0:03experience and everything? When I
4. 0:05started seeing the feedback, so many
5. 0:06people messaged me saying, "I'm praying
6. 0:08for you." Like I felt like God knew that
7. 0:10I needed that.
8. 0:13And he was right. I was in bondage. The
9. 0:15months after that were really hard. My
10. 0:17prayer life definitely took a hit.
11. 0:21There were times I'll go to my desk,
12. 0:23I'll drop my Bible, and I'll be looking
13. 0:25at it like like I don't know what that
14. 0:26was, but I [music] could not get myself
15. 0:28to pray. I have to sing for like three
16. 0:30hours before I sense the presence of
17. 0:32God. But I pray until the glory comes.
18. 0:34Your heart is involved. That is why the
19. 0:37best measure for your spiritual life is
20. 0:39your prayer life. Once God says
21. 0:41something to you, it is he's he's not
22. 0:43saying it because he wants to do it.
23. 0:44He's saying it because it is done.
24. 0:46>> The horse is prepared for the day of
25. 0:49battle. The horse is not prepared on the
26. 0:51day of battle. Ask for more of God at

30. 1:04today, oh my goodness, who do we have
31. 1:07here? So maybe Le
32. 1:13I've had this video idea in my content
33. 1:15calendar for over a year. And every time
34. 1:18I wanted to film it, like there were
35. 1:20just different people coming to my mind
36. 1:21that I could film it with, but the
37. 1:23timing was just never working out. M
38. 1:25>> and then this week I just felt like this
39. 1:28is the video God wants me to talk about
40. 1:30it. time and then you came into my mind
41. 1:32as okay have it with so maybe and I was
42. 1:34like okay yeah I think prayer generally
43. 1:37is a very I'm glad I get to talk about
44. 1:40it really right cuz I personally have
45. 1:43had a very interesting journey learning
46. 1:46about prayer even before I share
47. 1:48anything like you shared something a
48. 1:50very sensitive topic very heavy topic um
49. 1:55a while ago what do you think about
50. 1:57everything how were the months
51. 1:59>> yeah after the whole experience and
52. 2:01everything like how did that weigh on
53. 2:03you?
54. 2:03>> To be honest, I was I didn't plan to
55. 2:05share that video
56. 2:07>> like people typically talk about things
57. 2:10like this when they're on the other
58. 2:11side.
59. 2:12>> Exactly.
60. 2:12>> And then they sharing it as they are
61. 2:14like testimony and then you know
62. 2:16everything. But you know when I was in
63. 2:18prayer, God had led me into this time of
64. 2:20prayer, extended hours of prayer. And
65. 2:23when I was praying, you know, it's even
66. 2:26funny because I was just worshiping God
67. 2:28and just saying, "I want you. I want
68. 2:30more of you." Like,
69. 2:32>> what is it always then why?
70. 2:36>> Oh my God. Ask for more of God at your
71. 2:38own risk. [laughter]
72. 2:40>> You say you want more, have more.
73. 2:42>> So, I was praying and just asking for
74. 2:43more. And then God said, "It's time for
75. 2:46you to talk about like this." And I was
76. 2:49a bit confused because it's like this is
77. 2:52not like this is something difficult
78. 2:54that has happened to me but this is not
79. 2:56the only difficult thing that has
80. 2:57happened to me. I mean you know
81. 2:59>> we've had so many things like there are
82. 3:02things that have made this our journey
83. 3:03and our history with God. So I just felt
84. 3:05like why this one and then God spoke to
85. 3:08me and said like oh you are you are in
86. 3:10bondage. You don't even know that you
87. 3:12are in bondage. And when you talk about
88. 3:15this, you're going to release it
89. 3:17>> and you're now going to make room for
90. 3:20the more that you are asking for cuz I
91. 3:22was asking for more of God. I don't know
92. 3:23how to I feel like I'm on a very
93. 3:25interesting journey with God. And I
94. 3:27believe that God knew that whatever had
95. 3:29happened to me was not the end of the
96. 3:31story.
97. 3:32>> And I think he wanted me to document
98. 3:34where I was in the story.
99. 3:36>> I didn't think I would share it. Mhm.
100. 3:38>> I was like, even if I never share this,
101. 3:39I want to have it as a memory for me and
102. 3:41for my children. So that was what I was
103. 3:44filming it in mind to show my children
104. 3:46when I say you, you this child. Exactly.
105. 3:49Like that was it. So build the faith of
106. 3:51my family like for us to be a people of
107. 3:54faith. It wasn't something I was ever
108. 3:56going to share publicly, you know. So I
109. 3:58recorded those videos. I created a
110. 4:00folder called
111. 4:02>> the name of our child. put it in that
112. 4:04folder and I just threw it somewhere in
113. 4:07my hard drive and I did not look at it
114. 4:08again. So obviously and why we are
115. 4:10talking about prayer is because I want
116. 4:12to talk about like building a prayer
117. 4:15life, sustaining a prayer life, reviving
118. 4:18a prayer life because we will all go
119. 4:20through different seasons. It's not just
120. 4:21about disappointment or hardship.
121. 4:24Sometimes you are busy,
122. 4:25>> you know, and I just wanted to talk
123. 4:27about what the months were like because
124. 4:29I know that my prayer life was really
125. 4:30tried. Like I feel like those first few
126. 4:33months my faith was was at an alltime
127. 4:35high which is what was communicated in
128. 4:37that video. I've had so many people send
129. 4:39me messages like wow I've never seen
130. 4:41faith like this.
131. 4:43>> Even like when I watched it back because
132. 4:45I edited that video
133. 4:47>> when I was editing it I cried. I cried
134. 4:51because
135. 4:53the girl in the video
136. 4:56I was amazed by her. I was just like oh
137. 4:58my god who are you? because that
138. 5:00happened so long ago and where I am now
139. 5:03and where she was two different places
140. 5:06you know
141. 5:07>> so I was just like oh my goodness this
142. 5:09girl is so brave the same way
143. 5:10everybody's looking at her like it's the
144. 5:12same way I'm looking at her like oh my
145. 5:14goodness and I think that's why God
146. 5:15wanted me to record that cuz I think he
147. 5:17always knew that this is what he wanted
148. 5:19to do with it when I started seeing the
149. 5:21feedback the people who were messaging
150. 5:23me the women who were crying there were
151. 5:25some women sending me voice notes they
152. 5:27were crying that they they were just
153. 5:29like experiencing a loss in that moment.
154. 5:32Like the number of messages, there was a
155. 5:34woman that reached out to me. I feel
156. 5:35like this was the one one of the
157. 5:36messages that touched me the most. A
158. 5:38woman in her 50s. She was like, I watch
159. 5:40your content and my daughters watch your
160. 5:42content and I've gone through what
161. 5:44you're going through and God delivered
162. 5:46me and I'm going to be praying for you.
163. 5:48All the prayers that I received, all the
164. 5:50people that sent me, like so many people
165. 5:52messaged me saying, "I'm praying for
166. 5:54you." Like I felt like God knew that I
167. 5:57needed that.
168. 6:01I'm sorry.
169. 6:03And I'm laughing because I always laugh
170. 6:04at people that cry on camera. I'm like,
171. 6:06"Put off the camera and go and sit
172. 6:07down."
173. 6:09I feel like God knew I needed that.
174. 6:11[music] I feel like I have done so many
175. 6:14things
176. 6:16alone. Well, not alone. And I've had a
177. 6:18CM there with me, but it can just be so
178. 6:21isolating to be going through this and
179. 6:24nobody knows that
180. 6:26>> this is what you're dealing with. And
181. 6:28every day you have to show up and
182. 6:37I just thank God. I thank God. I thank
183. 6:40God. I thank God. I think he knew that I
184. 6:42needed it. That I And he was right. I
185. 6:45was in bondage because once he was out
186. 6:48there I'm like okay
187. 6:51what next? Like you know he's out there
188. 6:55[snorts]
189. 6:57[sighs and gasps]
190. 6:58and now I can begin to do the things
191. 7:00that God has asked me to do because the
192. 7:02messages he had given me like this one
193. 7:03this one that we're going to talk about
194. 7:05I had been like okay when I get to the
195. 7:07other side I'll share about it when I
196. 7:08get to the other side. Yes. And so I was
197. 7:11talking about what I wanted to talk
198. 7:13about, not what God wanted me to talk
199. 7:15about.
200. 7:16>> So you were holding this.
201. 7:17>> Exactly. Because I was holding that part
202. 7:19back. And that's what he was saying that
203. 7:20you're asking for more of me, but you
204. 7:22have to release this to receive what it
205. 7:25is that I want to give to you. So the
206. 7:27months after that were really hard. I
207. 7:30feel like [laughter] that part I shared
208. 7:33that was the height and then it just
209. 7:34went down from there because I feel like
210. 7:36I started being I think I thought I was
211. 7:38going to get pregnant again really fast
212. 7:40and when it wasn't happening I was not
213. 7:42like [laughter]
214. 7:43are we really back to where we started
215. 7:45from you know that kind of thing and
216. 7:47then my prayer life definitely took a
217. 7:49hit and what I realized especially from
218. 7:52the journey of my life is that the
219. 7:54moment I am praying my faith is
220. 7:57strongest
221. 7:58>> the moment I am not praying my faith is
222. 8:01weakest. And I'll never forget something
223. 8:03Apostle Sman said. He said, "How is it
224. 8:06that you went into prayer? You heard
225. 8:09something from the Lord. You wrote it
226. 8:10down. When you look at it 2 days later,
227. 8:13you say, "Was I like was something
228. 8:16[laughter] going on with me when I how
229. 8:18could I have thought that I would take
230. 8:20over this territory?" What entered me is
231. 8:22that you've left the realm of the
232. 8:23spirit. You've come into the realm of
233. 8:25the of
234. 8:26>> the flesh. Imagine someone wants to
235. 8:28become an aeronautic engineer and they
236. 8:30don't offer the course in Nigeria. You
237. 8:32have to go outside the country to study
238. 8:33it. You come from a wretched family. But
239. 8:35when you were sorry, I I should stop
240. 8:36saying wretched family. You come from a
241. 8:37poor family.
242. 8:39>> When you were praying, the word of the
243. 8:40Lord came. Oh, God is going to do it.
244. 8:42You wrote it down. You came back 2 days
245. 8:44later. Let's say in your family, you
246. 8:46people have not even eaten dinner.
247. 8:48>> In the last 2 days, you've only been
248. 8:49eating lunch because you can only afford
249. 8:51010.
250. 8:52>> And then you're looking how shall these
251. 8:54things be?
252. 8:55what you're supposed to do. You're
253. 8:56supposed to go into prayer and say,
254. 8:57"Okay, God, you told me that I'm going
255. 9:00to study aeronautic engineering. I come
256. 9:03from a poor family, but if you are
257. 9:05telling me, it means you have done it."
258. 9:08>> Because I was listening to this um
259. 9:11message song with Pastor N. I love it.
260. 9:13Promise keeper. There was something she
261. 9:16said that's literally my favorite part
262. 9:17of the whole song. She said um it is of
263. 9:20your mercies we are not consumed cuz
264. 9:22your compassions they fail not. They are
265. 9:24new every morning. Great is your
266. 9:26faithfulness. What you say you have done
267. 9:29already. So you can listen to it as what
268. 9:31you say you have done. But no, but she
269. 9:34said what you say you have done already.
270. 9:38So what that means is once God says
271. 9:40something to you, it is he's he's not
272. 9:42saying it because he wants to do it.
273. 9:44He's saying it because it is done.
274. 9:46>> Like God is not telling you something he
275. 9:48wants to do. He's telling you something
276. 9:50he has done. M
277. 9:52>> so you're supposed to ask him okay we've
278. 9:55done this thing
279. 9:56>> how did we do it
280. 9:58>> then God starts telling that prayer for
281. 10:01prayer is a place where we go to
282. 10:02unburden ourselves first of all because
283. 10:04if your family is eating 010 you are
284. 10:06burdened
285. 10:08>> that's where you go to unburden yourself
286. 10:10first of all that's where you go to get
287. 10:12clarity because you are you are just
288. 10:14confused
289. 10:16>> it is your daily bread it is your like f
290. 10:18station where you go to get f to now go
291. 10:21about the day For instance, the other
292. 10:22day I was praying. There were things I
293. 10:24had planned to do next year and I was
294. 10:26praying like da and God said you are
295. 10:28doing it this year. I was like hello.
296. 10:31That was so shocking to me cuz I was
297. 10:32like oh my goodness. If I did not pray
298. 10:34and of which I had been making my my
299. 10:36plans I did not ask God. But that day I
300. 10:38just said let me just pray about this
301. 10:40thing. That's how God just said I want
302. 10:41you to do it this time and this is how
303. 10:43you would do it. the way to do just said
304. 10:45I come in I'm I was I almost put my hand
305. 10:47on my head and I asked my husband like
306. 10:50>> so as I had not prayed about this thing
307. 10:52that's how God too will be looking at
308. 10:53him because I have not invited him into
309. 10:56the situation
310. 10:57>> so I heard Apostle Son say something
311. 10:59that struck me he said people always say
312. 11:02why must I have to pray about everything
313. 11:04can God not see it is happen okay you
314. 11:06want to collect message from the spirit
315. 11:08but you don't want to enter the spirit
316. 11:10>> to collect the message
317. 11:11>> so you want to just be sitting down and
318. 11:13then what will happen to come and
319. 11:15>> God will just crack open the heavens and
320. 11:17say isn't it that thing you want to do
321. 11:18next year do it this year it's like no
322. 11:21you have to be in the place of prayer
323. 11:23and if anybody is watching it and saying
324. 11:25oh but how do I hear God I have a video
325. 11:27on how to hear the voice of God I will

329. 11:33the funny thing is that when we stay
330. 11:36away from prayer we think that we are
331. 11:39punishing God because some of the
332. 11:41messages I got there some people that
333. 11:42were like I'm not even talking to God.
334. 11:43I'm not even praying. That's the plan of
335. 11:45the enemy. You think that you are
336. 11:47punishing God, but you're actually
337. 11:48depriving yourself.
338. 11:49>> Depriving yourself from yourself.
339. 11:50>> The help that you would have gotten, you
340. 11:53know. So, I just wanted to ask you if
341. 11:56there are seasons where you struggled to
342. 11:58pray
343. 11:59>> and what you think were actually behind
344. 12:01those like seasons. Maybe this is why
345. 12:03God now ask you to ask me [laughter]
346. 12:05[gasps]
347. 12:06because
348. 12:08I have gone through so many seasons
349. 12:12>> where I have struggled
350. 12:14especially this year. I remember I
351. 12:18started this year obviously with the
352. 12:19usual um hi from entering into a new
353. 12:23year like you said you've come out from
354. 12:25a place of prayer. I was entering new
355. 12:26year in prayer and everything. There's
356. 12:27clarity, everything. And I think by like
357. 12:31March, April, I don't know how I went
358. 12:34from, oh my god, I love looking up on
359. 12:37God every day to going a month plus
360. 12:40without praying. And the thing about me,
361. 12:43how I function is when I am not praying,
362. 12:46my life is a mess.
363. 12:47>> Like I am just all over the place. I'm
364. 12:49heavy-hearted. I'm anxious. Um, and when
365. 12:52I I'm good in my walk with God, not walk
366. 12:54with God, but when I'm in the place of
367. 12:56prayer, Exactly. I'm more stable. I'm
368. 12:58more clear on what I want to do. I'm
369. 13:00more self-aware also. And so that period
370. 13:03I And just because I know these two
371. 13:05things about myself, I knew that this is
372. 13:07not okay. And so I was not praying. I
373. 13:10could not open my mouth to pray. There
374. 13:11were times I'll go to my desk, I would
375. 13:14sit down, I'll drop my Bible and my and
376. 13:16I'll be looking at it like like I I I
377. 13:18don't know what that was but I could not
378. 13:21get myself to pray and I think that week
379. 13:24Holy Spirit had now started speak there
380. 13:25was a week that I broke free from that
381. 13:27day and Holy Spir speaking to me he was
382. 13:30telling me maybe you need to pray and
383. 13:31that's one thing about me right Holy
384. 13:33Spirit has never left maybe it's just my
385. 13:36name I think actually leave out the name
386. 13:37I bear and tell people what your name is
387. 13:40>> so maybe God is
388. 13:42is my full name meaning God is with me
389. 13:44or God lives with me
390. 13:46>> or God follows me
391. 13:46>> or God follows me just God being present
392. 13:49and so yeah that I found that that is
393. 13:51literally the testimony of my life is
394. 13:53that even when I'm out of season for
395. 13:56example I always still get that lead or
396. 13:59that voice calling saying you need to
397. 14:01you need to I'll always be aware of
398. 14:03where I am and so I had that voice of
399. 14:06the spirit that was telling me you need
400. 14:08to pray you need to pray you need to
401. 14:10pray I did not know why and I could not
402. 14:12even respond to say [clears throat] but
403. 14:14I'm tired like or I don't know what to
404. 14:16say and I think one day my junior sister
405. 14:20ch she had come back home and she just
406. 14:24made a passing comment I didn't know she
407. 14:26knows that Holy Spirit to use her
408. 14:28>> but she something like cuz I sort of
409. 14:30expressed to her like how I was feeling
410. 14:33and then I think that day I was now
411. 14:35watching one show I said maybe won't you
412. 14:39just go and use this time now to pray.
413. 14:41And normally I would have probably
414. 14:44snapped at her be like and I asked you
415. 14:46that kind of thing. But something in me
416. 14:48just took it as
417. 14:49>> the cue I needed. I don't I just rose up
418. 14:52like and I just I didn't even say
419. 14:53anything to her. I not I not feel bad
420. 14:56that she was supposedly correcting me. I
421. 14:59just went I opened my Bible. I read my
422. 15:02Bible. I opened my mouth and I prayed.
423. 15:06And I felt
424. 15:08such a weight be lifted of me. And even
425. 15:10I remember oh yes thank you. I remember
426. 15:12what led me into that season was I
427. 15:14started with a high of oh this is what
428. 15:16God is saying. And I got to a point
429. 15:18where I was like okay why am I not
430. 15:20seeing any of the things God is saying?
431. 15:22Like is God deceiving me? Is God lying?
432. 15:25All of those things. And I started
433. 15:27slowly withdrawing. Like it was one day
434. 15:29of let me just I beg. It became one week
435. 15:32it became a month. So it went it was
436. 15:33basically going from being so clear that
437. 15:36in between that is now meant to birth
438. 15:38that that result of the clarity of you
439. 15:41received I skipped it. I was waiting for
440. 15:43a result. I was not praying. Do you
441. 15:44understand? And so that's why I was now
442. 15:46very confused. I was very confering
443. 15:51over my life for years. I'm not even
444. 15:53seeing anything. I just became a mess.
445. 15:55And so that one prayer I had where I
446. 15:59read my Bible. I saw the answer to
447. 16:02months that I had not prayed of things
448. 16:04that I was battling with.
449. 16:07>> You know, I got the answer with, by the
450. 16:08way, one chapter of the Bible, just one
451. 16:10singular chapter of the Bible.
452. 16:13>> And I just got I just got the clarity I
453. 16:16needed. And that was a kickstart for me,
454. 16:18right? [music] And even in line with
455. 16:21that, I remember entering into the year,
456. 16:24something that has really helped me and
457. 16:25I'm being so serious was actually
458. 16:27learning to maximize tools that have
459. 16:29been put in place for consistency,
460. 16:31right? And I'm saying this because I
461. 16:33mean the church I go to, Celebration
462. 16:35Church, they've put in the structures
463. 16:37where it's like you can join in, you can
464. 16:38pray, but I never took it seriously.
465. 16:40Even this year to new year, I still did
466. 16:42not plan on taking it seriously. I just
467. 16:44like I would do my own thing. But I now
468. 16:47found out that okay there are seasons
469. 16:48where genuinely you will be weak in the
470. 16:50spirit and you might not be able to show
471. 16:53up consistently. So in that season when
472. 16:54I was still trying to get my footing
473. 16:56back after God had helped me through
474. 16:58that session of like prayer and baptis I
475. 17:00said okay you know what since I'm still
476. 17:02not fully there like I I still feel a
477. 17:05bit of this burden what I'm going to do
478. 17:07is the days I can't pray by myself I'm
479. 17:10going to make sure that I tune into this
480. 17:11thing at least they praying there'll be
481. 17:13prayer prompts I can just key in and I
482. 17:16can pray and so I started doing that I
483. 17:18used to wake up in the morning cuz it's
484. 17:19at 6:00 a.m. I used to wake up early at
485. 17:216:00 a.m. Whenever I'm getting ready for
486. 17:23the day, I'm having my shower, I will
487. 17:25tune in, I will pray, and I'll start my
488. 17:27day with that prayer.

519. 18:27to start singing songs.

521. 18:32worship music, put on my earphones,
522. 18:34close my eyes, and I will just sing and
523. 18:37sing and then as you sing, the weight is
524. 18:39lifting, lifting until you just find
525. 18:40yourself praying. Like that's always a
526. 18:42hack for me. But one thing I would say
527. 18:44is
528. 18:45>> your prayer life is an altar. M if you
529. 18:48use a gas cooker every day when it's
530. 18:50time to light it just come it just come
531. 18:51on easily but if you leave it for a
532. 18:53month you don't you might be coming and
533. 18:56it may not be catching fire it may take
534. 18:58a while for it to warm up so sometimes
535. 19:01no kidding I have to sing for like 3
536. 19:03hours before I sense the presence of God
537. 19:06>> like I would really have to pray and
538. 19:08sing and sing and sing and then the
539. 19:10glory comes by the way this is just me
540. 19:12but I pray until the glory comes
541. 19:15>> I don't do father thank Thank you in the
542. 19:17name of Jesus Christ. This is just me.
543. 19:21Something else I used to do and this is
544. 19:22when I was working like a very demanding
545. 19:24job in Lagos. You have to be in the
546. 19:26office by 9:00 a.m. and you're living in
547. 19:28a when I'm in the bus. So now I have
548. 19:30like 3 hours to have whatever I want to
549. 19:33do. Just like you said, Amanda came to
550. 19:35me. I was like, "Won't you just use this
551. 19:36time and pray?" That's how the Holy
552. 19:38Spirit speaks sometimes. Like during the
553. 19:40time when I wasn't praying, I was
554. 19:41saying, "Oh, I will pray. I will pray,
555. 19:42but I'm but I'm very busy." So when I
556. 19:44was watching Netflix, the Holy Spirit
557. 19:46said, "Really? You're busy.
558. 19:47>> This is how busy you are. I was like,
559. 19:49this is my down time. It's like, oh,
560. 19:50your down [laughter] time. That prayer
561. 19:52time. Okay.
562. 19:53>> Do you understand? So, I was like, "Oh,
563. 19:56this is so right." Like, the times I'm
564. 19:58using to scroll, the times I'm using to
565. 19:59watch Netflix, the times I'm using to
566. 20:02just be doing I'm a boy, I don't know.
567. 20:04Like, those are times that you can be
568. 20:06using to seek the Lord to pray. Even if
569. 20:08it's 1 hour,
570. 20:10>> it's one hour that counts. 1 hour of
571. 20:11worship. Your heart is there. The glory
572. 20:13will come. You know because scripture
573. 20:16says that the fervent I think it's the
574. 20:19how does it say the fervent effectual
575. 20:21prayer of the righteous availth much and
576. 20:23makes tremendous power available. So it
577. 20:25has to be fervent. What does fevent
578. 20:27mean? Your heart is involved. If your
579. 20:29heart is not involved in your prayer you
580. 20:32you're just talking like not only
581. 20:34talking thank you Jesus you are
582. 20:35listening you're scrolling okay.
583. 20:39So even if you are turning your heart
584. 20:41can be in it. I tell you about
585. 20:43>> I'm telling you that that has happened
586. 20:44to me. At times I have been cooking, I
587. 20:46have felt the like glory come because
588. 20:48when you have kids, when you have a busy
589. 20:51life, you may not always have 5 hours of
590. 20:53prayer, 3 hours of prayer the way I can
591. 20:56have now.
592. 20:57>> But as you are breastfeeding, the glory
593. 20:59can actually come as long as your heart
594. 21:02is involved. As you are stirring that
595. 21:03pot of steel, the glory can come. As you
596. 21:05are driving to the office, the glory can
597. 21:07come. So it just depends on what you are
598. 21:10doing with your heart. So instead of me
599. 21:11to be in the bus scrolling on Instagram
600. 21:14laughing at one stupid thing that's not
601. 21:16adding anything to my life I will open
602. 21:18my Bible engage my heart and the glory
603. 21:20will come in that bus I can't tell you
604. 21:22how many times I've heard the Lord speak
605. 21:24to me things that I needed for my life
606. 21:26even for the office as I was in that bus
607. 21:28sitting down there on my way back home
608. 21:30same thing I'll plug you know apost
609. 21:33drown out the world I was feeding my
610. 21:35spirit that's why there was never any
611. 21:36gap even though I was working I was
612. 21:38waking up 4:00 a.m. to go to work. There
613. 21:40was this Frank Edwards testimony I used
614. 21:42to play every blessed day of my life as
615. 21:44I'm taking a shower because my problem
616. 21:46at that time was financial breakthrough
617. 21:48[laughter]
618. 21:48and this was a se this was his testimony
619. 21:51about financial breakthrough. I will
620. 21:52listen to it every blessed morning as
621. 21:54I'm getting ready for work. I would say
622. 21:56yes God will do it for me and he did it
623. 21:58for me you know. So I think people need
624. 22:00to know that God is more interested in
625. 22:02reaching them than they are in reaching
626. 22:04him. M and because when you come to
627. 22:06prayer with this belief system that God
628. 22:08is so far away you are trying to reach
629. 22:10him he stops you he's literally right
630. 22:12there imagine him talk to him stay not
631. 22:16that one that you've given yourself 20
632. 22:18minutes to have quiet time that you are
633. 22:20looking at the word just go where you
634. 22:21want to go and wait until you have time
635. 22:23to really pray sometimes you may need to
636. 22:25wake up earlier than everyone that is
637. 22:26the sacrifice of love remember when you
638. 22:29had a crush on a guy and you wanted to
639. 22:31talk to him hello literally
640. 22:33>> we're doing midnight calls at midnight
641. 22:34instead of sleeping like
642. 22:36>> and you'll be up you say oh I don't know
643. 22:38I could be up like this
644. 22:40>> the time will go by so fast you even say
645. 22:42it's
646. 22:44[laughter]
647. 22:45>> so yeah and I think the third reason why
648. 22:48people don't pray is when persecution
649. 22:51and trouble comes on account of the word
650. 22:53which we've spoken about that scripture
651. 22:55is so powerful because Jesus Christ
652. 22:56himself lets us know that when the word
653. 22:59goes out persecution comes after it
654. 23:02>> yes when he speaks about the parable of
655. 23:03the swer he says that oh some seed fell
656. 23:06on rocky ground you know these are the
657. 23:08people who it's so beautiful he just
658. 23:11says it in passing you can miss it he
659. 23:13said when persecution comes as a result
660. 23:16of the word they fall away it's not like
661. 23:18he made it a whole sermon
662. 23:20>> so now you see that when the word goes
663. 23:22out persecution comes on account of the
664. 23:24word
665. 23:25>> because when God say something the enemy
666. 23:28runs after it as well you're not the
667. 23:29only one running after the enemy runs
668. 23:32after because he's trying to Tell God,
669. 23:34eh, you are not God. It did not happen.
670. 23:36Yes.
671. 23:37>> So, somebody might might be watching
672. 23:39this and saying, okay, but then why do I
673. 23:41need to pray? God has said he let it
674. 23:42happen. Okay.
675. 23:43>> When God created the earth, he gave man
676. 23:46jurisdiction over the earth. Apostle
677. 23:48someone put it this way that is like a
678. 23:50landlord that rents his house to you.
679. 23:52Even though it is his house, he has
680. 23:53rented it to you. He cannot just my own
681. 23:56landlord cannot just come to my house
682. 23:57and say, "What's all this that is going
683. 23:59on here? Why are you doing this?" D he
684. 24:01will stand at the door and knock. That's
685. 24:03why Jesus said in the book of re
686. 24:06revelations, behold I stand at the door
687. 24:08and knock. If you open the door, I will
688. 24:11come in and I will dine with you. So at
689. 24:14the end of the day, God is literally
690. 24:15waiting there like I don't know if you
691. 24:16see all those wrestling matches where
692. 24:18you'll be wrestling. There will be one
693. 24:19partner by the side saying tap me, tap
694. 24:21me. That's literally God sometimes just
695. 24:23like tap me, tap me. And then the person
696. 24:25will be trying to the the the opponent
697. 24:27will be trying to stop the person from
698. 24:29just making that contact with the other
699. 24:31person because once you make that
700. 24:32contact the other person comes into the
701. 24:34ring and now starts fighting with
702. 24:35renewed strength [laughter]
703. 24:37>> fighting that that your enemy that is
704. 24:39literally prayer.
705. 24:40>> So when the enemy is telling you oh he's
706. 24:43getting hard don't pray. He's stopping
707. 24:45you from tapping your partner to come in
708. 24:47and deal with him.
709. 24:49>> When we pray we are literally tapping
710. 24:50God. That's why Jesus said we should
711. 24:52pray let your kingdom come. Because you
712. 24:55think what's going on is this is how God
713. 24:57wants to run the earth. This is how he
714. 24:59wants to run the king. When you get to
715. 25:01heaven, you will see how it is. You see
716. 25:02this kingdom to run a place with other.
717. 25:05This is the result of sin, chaos,
718. 25:08anarchy, breakdown. When Satan is trying
719. 25:10to get us out of prayer, he's trying to
720. 25:12get us into a place of defeat. That is
721. 25:14why the best measure for your spiritual
722. 25:16life is your prayer life. If you want to
723. 25:19just sit down and say, "Okay, what's my
724. 25:20spiritual life like? How can I rate it?"
725. 25:22Just look at your prayer life. No, no
726. 25:23need to check too much. The horse is
727. 25:25prepared for the day of battle. The
728. 25:28horse is not prepared on the day of
729. 25:30battle. The horse is prepared for the
730. 25:32day of battle, which means the day is
731. 25:34coming. So, you have to start preparing
732. 25:36your horse. You don't wait till the
733. 25:37problem comes. Oh, God arise. You are
734. 25:39too late. Satan has already launched his
735. 25:43attack at that point. I feel like I've
736. 25:44had a lot of conversations with people
737. 25:47where they at that point like they don't
738. 25:49know where to start at all and I think
739. 25:51what you really said prefaces everything
740. 25:53perfectly like you cannot start from
741. 25:55nothing. You have to start with an
742. 25:57actual understanding or knowledge. It's
743. 25:59almost like somebody is saying oh so if
744. 26:03I want to talk to isn't it like what can
745. 26:05I say to her [laughter] like and they're
746. 26:06trying to get a whole outline of what to
747. 26:08say to her and it's like that's not a
748. 26:09natural conversation with her. I've
749. 26:11>> always said that.
750. 26:12>> Yes. like how about you maybe get to
751. 26:15know the person, ask the person
752. 26:16question. So it's from that like I talk
753. 26:18to you based on my understanding of you
754. 26:20like what I know about you which is why
755. 26:22my relationship is so different from
756. 26:24another person's relationship with you.
757. 26:25But I think first of all even just
758. 26:27coming to a point where you understand
759. 26:28that you have to know the person.
760. 26:30There's no shortcut to
761. 26:31>> intimacy
762. 26:32>> intimacy or shortcut to getting to know
763. 26:34God or intimacy basically like you have
764. 26:37to know the person and
765. 26:40to crown everything rather side by side.
766. 26:43I think prayer and Bible study go
767. 26:46together perfectly. And I'm saying this
768. 26:48because as somebody that was saved for
769. 26:50since I was what 16 or 15 whatever I did
770. 26:53not start reading my Bible until 204
771. 26:57turn 25 properly you know and it was
772. 27:00when I started reading my Bible even
773. 27:01even this year I said I just like it is
774. 27:04always like I'm starting properly and it
775. 27:08is when I started with so much
776. 27:10intentionality reading my Bible I felt
777. 27:12like I could now pray I now knew the
778. 27:15things to say. is like I don't have a
779. 27:17proper understanding of this person that
780. 27:18I'm meant to be talking to. Do you
781. 27:19understand? So I think it's just to
782. 27:21reinforce that thing of prayer and Bible
783. 27:24study going hand in hand. Like all of
784. 27:25these things they can be said. You can
785. 27:27understand it from another. By the way,
786. 27:29this is from her perspective cuz she has
787. 27:31that understanding. So you can
788. 27:32understand it from their perspective.
789. 27:34But you still have to know
790. 27:36>> you still have to dig your own well.
791. 27:37>> Dig your own well. Know your own know
792. 27:39God for yourself and have that
793. 27:41perspective. I think that's just um
794. 27:43everything really. Do you want to pray
795. 27:45for us?
796. 27:45>> Yeah, I can pray.
797. 27:46>> I want to pray for people who are
798. 27:48struggling to pray. Right. So, we want
799. 27:51to pray that um
800. 27:55first of we want to thank God. We want
801. 27:57to thank him for this peace that he has
802. 27:59created for us to have conversations
803. 28:01like this. We want to thank him for how
804. 28:03he's building and strengthening his
805. 28:04church. Because I feel like that's why
806. 28:06God asked me to share last week's video,
807. 28:08why he's bringing up this conversation
808. 28:10that we're having. I believe God is
809. 28:11raising soldiers and he wants to
810. 28:13strengthen his church. So let's just
811. 28:15thank him for that and I think we should
812. 28:16just pray for everyone struggling to
813. 28:18trust God and for everyone who is
814. 28:20struggling to pray. So let's just pray.
815. 28:23All right. Heavenly Father, we just want
816. 28:25to say thank you.
817. 28:26>> Thank you Lord.
818. 28:27>> We want to say thank you for our lives.
819. 28:30We want to say thank you for the lives
820. 28:31of your children watching this video.
821. 28:33>> Thank you Lord. Just want to bless you
822. 28:35God for the grace and the free and the
823. 28:39willingness the ability to come before
824. 28:41your presence to have a space to stand
825. 28:44before the King of Kings and to just
826. 28:47speak to him knowing that he hears us. I
827. 28:50want to thank you for your word that has
828. 28:51gone out today. Thank you for putting
829. 28:53your words in our lips for the people
830. 28:56that stayed until the end for their
831. 28:58hearts that we ministered to. And Lord
832. 29:00Jesus, I just come before you today in
833. 29:03partnership with all your children
834. 29:04around the world watching this video.
835. 29:06Those who might be heavy-hearted, those
836. 29:09who might be burdened, those who
837. 29:11currently even have a curiosity to know
838. 29:13the Lord but do not know where to start
839. 29:14from.
840. 29:15>> Those who feel like they've wondered so
841. 29:17far, but for some reason they're just
842. 29:18here. And those who are trusting you for
843. 29:22something, I just want to ask father
844. 29:25that by watching this video there is a
845. 29:27release in the spirit to the heart of
846. 29:29everybody.

848. 29:30>> I pray that your hand literally rest
849. 29:33upon them.

851. 29:34>> That even in their rooms, in their
852. 29:36offices, with their friends, however
853. 29:38this video meets them, that there is a
854. 29:40physical presence of the Lord that rest
855. 29:42upon them.

858. 29:45transformed. That this is not just
859. 29:46another casual video. This is not just
860. 29:49another casual video to pass time that
861. 29:51they will be able to reference this
862. 29:53video and know that something changed in

864. 29:57When I heard these two women speak,
865. 29:58something definitely changed on that
866. 30:00day. Something changed on that day. I
867. 30:02pray that for everybody who is
868. 30:03struggling, who might have reached a
869. 30:05plate to in their walk with the Lord,
870. 30:07that this prayer, this time of of
871. 30:10fellowship and and speaking opens up a
872. 30:14well for them,
873. 30:16>> that there is a well they can draw from
874. 30:18and their eyes are open to even see that
875. 30:20well
876. 30:20>> that they are not clueless. They do not
877. 30:22stumble in the dark in the name of
878. 30:24Jesus. I just pray father that this is
879. 30:26an avenue for people to reach you,
880. 30:29>> for people to reach people that once
881. 30:30felt far. Let this be the intermediary
882. 30:33they needed.
883. 30:34>> May they turn to you right now once they
884. 30:36switch off this video and just speak the
885. 30:38word. May they call upon you as who you
886. 30:40are to them in that season. May they
887. 30:42call you friend. May they call you Aba.
888. 30:44May they call you provider. May they
889. 30:46call you helper. May they call you your
890. 30:48ways above.
891. 30:49>> Amen.
892. 30:50>> And I just pray that their mouths are no
893. 30:52longer closed. Their hearts are no
894. 30:54longer heavy. Every burden on their
895. 30:57hearts is lifted up. and they come
896. 30:58freely to your throne of grace and they

924. 31:47All the videos you see, watch all of
925. 31:48them. If you want to learn more about
926. 31:50prayer, I highly recommend my book, His

928. 31:55the book is an invitation to know the
929. 31:56God who has always known you. And in a
930. 31:58particular chapter, I have a whole
931. 32:00chapter about prayer where I talk about
932. 32:01my own prayer journey, how I built a
933. 32:04prayer life, the different types of
934. 32:05prayers, how you can build a, you know,
935. 32:07prayer life as well. And this is a book
936. 32:08I believe every single believer should

957. 32:44conversation,

961. 32:49So do you want to tell the people what
962. 32:50>> um Triumph 30 is a platform organized or
963. 32:53the host is celebration church but it's
964. 32:55it own thing more or less and the idea
965. 32:57behind it in summary is consistency in
966. 33:00the Lord. And so what it is in simple
967. 33:03terms is we meet every day at 6:00 a.m.
968. 33:05We come to read the Bible to worship to
969. 33:09actually take notes from the Bible. So
970. 33:11like there's an explanation of the word.
971. 33:12You know how you read the Bible cuz I
972. 33:14struggled. I started desiring to take
973. 33:16reading my Bible intentionally. I'm read
974. 33:18I'm like what is what does this mean?
975. 33:20And so you have Pastor Emanuel Iran
976. 33:22there physically. He breaks down the
977. 33:24word. You see people taking commentary
978. 33:26reading and God really just expands his
979. 33:29word and then we worship. Obviously,
980. 33:31worship is always so amazing. You can
981. 33:33check in every day. You've prayed, you
982. 33:35spend time in the Lord, and I just feel
983. 33:37like it's so amazing. It has helped me
984. 33:38go from the plateau of not being able to
985. 33:41pray to now even saying, "Oh, yes, I've
986. 33:42prayed a whole week because I know that
987. 33:44I showed up consistently for a week and
988. 33:46I actually did pray to God. I kidding
989. 33:48and I prayed and I read my Bible." So,
990. 33:49yeah, that's devotion. Get it? Get it?
991. 33:53Okay. So, a few announcements just
992. 33:54before we close. First off, I want to
993. 33:56talk about the Ghana book tour cuz I've
994. 33:58gotten so many questions, emails about
995. 34:00it. Yes, we're supposed to do the Ghana
996. 34:02book tour for His Eyes on the Sparrow,
997. 34:04but we've just not gotten enough
998. 34:06expressions of interest for us to come
999. 34:08because as you guys know, to do
1000. 34:10something like that is going to cost
1001. 34:12some money. There's going to be
1002. 34:13logistics um for myself, for my team
1003. 34:15that is coming with me, lodging, the
1004. 34:17event planning, it's very capital heavy,
1005. 34:20if I may put it that way. and we're just
1006. 34:21hoping that we will get a particular
1007. 34:23number of expressions of interest so
1008. 34:24that that will sort of cover that
1009. 34:27expense and we've not been able to get
1010. 34:28it. So unfortunately we'll have to
1011. 34:29postpone that for now and I'm just going
1012. 34:32to try and work on something else. See
1013. 34:34if there's a way God will maybe open the
1014. 34:35door for us to one day come to Ghana to
1015. 34:38be able to do it. I love Ghana so much.
1016. 34:40I've been there like two times or three
1017. 34:41times and I've had a blast every single
1018. 34:43time I've come and yeah that's for the
1019. 34:45Ghana tour. Then about TC school before
1020. 34:47people use hammer to bring down. Yes,
1021. 34:49[laughter] we're supposed to do TC
1022. 34:50school. I think we're supposed to start
1023. 34:52this month. And of which, please guys, I
1024. 34:54already said that there's no need to
1025. 34:55send us emails asking like when is TC
1026. 34:57school going to start because the people
1027. 34:59who are going to be selected will get
1028. 35:00emails and if you don't get an email, it
1029. 35:03means you were not selected. So, there's
1030. 35:04really no needing us because we've
1031. 35:06gotten up to a thousand applications and
1032. 35:08we've not even announced it formally, by
1033. 35:10the way. We've only spoken about it.
1034. 35:12I've only spoke about it once on my
1035. 35:13YouTube channel. Have we even gone like
1036. 35:15Did you say a thousand?
1037. 35:16>> Yes. And [music] so if you send us a
1038. 35:19message saying something like hey I you
1039. 35:21know applied I just want to know if I've
1040. 35:22gotten it. There's no way we can start
1041. 35:24going through to see who did we select
1042. 35:25who did who who was not like so just
1043. 35:28know that if you were selected you will
1044. 35:30get an email and if you don't get an
1045. 35:31email you were not selected and we have
1046. 35:33to move TC school to next year because
1047. 35:36actually when I announced TC school it
1048. 35:38was something I wanted to do. God had
1049. 35:39spoken to me about it. I wanted to do
1050. 35:41it. I chose the timeline but there are
1051. 35:43other things that God has asked me to do
1052. 35:44and so I have seen that this particular
1053. 35:46one now has to be moved to a later time.
1054. 35:48So I don't know when next year it is
1055. 35:50going to happen or if it will even be
1056. 35:51next year but I just know that TC school
1057. 35:53is something that I have in mind and God
1058. 35:54willing when it is the right time God
1059. 35:56will make it happen. I will announce it
1060. 35:58you guys will see you know about it. I'm
1061. 35:59very sorry. I know that there were lots
1062. 36:01of people who wanted to be part of this
1063. 36:03and who have been looking forward to it.
1064. 36:04I have all the applications and we're
1065. 36:07taking our time to go through all of
1066. 36:08them. just be, you know, relaxed. And
