- 0:01He who knows himself, knows his path.
- 0:06This wisdom, echoed by sages throughout
- 0:09the ages, summarizes a long journey of.
- 0:13Human exploration, for the greatest
- 0:15discovery one can reach is not
- 0:18discovering the world around them, but
- 0:21the world within them. A person may
- 0:26spend many long years trying to
- 0:28understand others, trying to prove.
- 0:31Themselves, to reach their goals. And
- 0:35to achieve the success they dream of.
- 0:38But they forget the most important
- 0:40question: Am I living in a way that
- 0:43makes me feel at peace with myself? In
- 0:46a time where speed has become the title
- 0:49for everything. People have started
- 0:52running more than they are living.
- 0:54Waking up to notifications and falling
- 0:57asleep to thoughts. And between the
- 0:59beginning and the end, they forget to
- 1:01ask themselves. What is happening
- 1:03inside me? We live in an era where
- 1:07humans possess unlimited means of
- 1:10communication. Yet, they have sometimes
- 1:13become more detached from themselves.
- 1:17They know everyone's news. They know
- 1:20what others are doing. What they own.
- 1:23And how far they have reached, but they
- 1:25don't always know what their heart
- 1:27needs. Here the problem begins, because
- 1:32when a person neglects themselves for a
- 1:34long time, they don't collapse suddenly
- 1:36; rather, they drift away from their
- 1:38self gradually, losing enthusiasm for
- 1:41the things they used to love. They feel
- 1:44tired without any clear reason.
- 1:48Sometimes you just need honest moments.
- 1:51In which you rearrange your
- 1:53relationship with yourself. Mental
- 1:56health is not about never feeling sad.
- 2:00And it is not about being strong all
- 2:03the time. And it is not. Waking up
- 2:05every morning full of energy; that is
- 2:09not human. The real human goes through
- 2:14phases of fatigue, doubt, fear, and
- 2:17confusion. But the difference between
- 2:22someone who gets lost in these feelings
- 2:23and someone who moves past them is that
- 2:25the latter. Learns how to understand
- 2:30themselves, to sit with their pain
- 2:33instead of running from it, to listen
- 2:36to their thoughts instead of fearing
- 2:38them, and to treat themselves with
- 2:41mercy instead of being their own
- 2:43harshest critic. Some people treat
- 2:48themselves in a way they would never
- 2:51allow someone else to treat them; they
- 2:54criticize every mistake, remember every
- 2:57failure, and constantly compare
- 2:59themselves to others, then wonder why
- 3:02they don't feel comfortable. The answer
- 3:07is simple: because a person cannot live
- 3:10in peace while they are in a constant
- 3:13war with themselves. The most beautiful
- 3:18relationship you can build in this life
- 3:20is not your relationship with money.
- 3:23Nor fame, nor people's admiration of
- 3:25you. But your relationship with
- 3:28yourself. Because everyone may drift
- 3:31away at certain stages. Circumstances
- 3:34may change. And places may shift. But
- 3:38the only person who will remain with
- 3:40you in every moment is you. That is why
- 3:44taking care of yourself is not
- 3:46selfishness as some might. Think, but
- 3:49rather a responsibility. For a person
- 3:52who takes care of themselves becomes
- 3:55more capable of giving. And calmer in
- 3:58their dealings, and more conscious of
- 4:01their choices. And in this episode, we
- 4:04will talk about seven psychological
- 4:06habits. Simple, yet very profound.
- 4:11Habits. If you start applying them,
- 4:13they won't change your life in one day.
- 4:17But they will change the way you see
- 4:20yourself. And the life around you,
- 4:24because true change doesn't always
- 4:27start from the outside; it starts from
- 4:30a quiet moment where you say to
- 4:32yourself: It is time. To take care of
- 4:36the person who has lived with me all
- 4:38these years—myself. Once we realize
- 4:42that our relationship with ourselves is
- 4:44the foundation, we begin to discover
- 4:46that true change does not always
- 4:48require. to massive decisions, but to
- 4:51small habits we repeat until they
- 4:54become part of our character. A person
- 4:58does not become calmer because they
- 5:01found a life free of problems, but
- 5:04because they learned how to deal with
- 5:06problems without allowing them to take
- 5:09away their inner peace. The first habit
- 5:14is to give yourself real time for quiet
- 5:17. In a world where silence has become a
- 5:21rarity, sitting with oneself has become
- 5:24a skill that needs to be learned. Many
- 5:29people fear moments of quiet because
- 5:31when they step away from the noise,
- 5:34they hear voices they have been trying
- 5:37to ignore for a long time. But a person
- 5:41cannot understand themselves while
- 5:43constantly running away from them.
- 5:47Sometimes you just need a few minutes
- 5:49in your day without a phone, without
- 5:52comparisons, and without trying to
- 5:55please anyone. Sit down and ask
- 5:58yourself: What is draining me these
- 6:01days? What am I putting off even though
- 6:04I know it's important? What makes me
- 6:08feel disconnected from myself? These
- 6:11questions are not a weakness; they are
- 6:14a sign of awareness. The second habit
- 6:19is to stop punishing yourself for the
- 6:22past. There are people who live in the
- 6:25present with their bodies, but their
- 6:28minds are still stuck in years gone by.
- 6:33They remember their old mistakes as if
- 6:36they happened today and judge
- 6:38themselves based on an old version of
- 6:41them that no longer exists, even though
- 6:44the truth is that a human is a being
- 6:47that changes. The person who made the
- 6:51mistake years ago did not have the same
- 6:54knowledge. Nor the same experience. Nor
- 6:57the same awareness you have now. If you
- 7:01knew then what you know today, you
- 7:04might have acted differently. That is
- 7:07why you should not let an old mistake
- 7:09become a prison. That you live in for
- 7:11the rest of your life. Take the lesson
- 7:14and leave the pain behind. Maturity is
- 7:18not about forgetting the past, but
- 7:20about learning from it without letting
- 7:23it steal your future. The third habit
- 7:27is to choose what you allow into your
- 7:30mind. The mind is like a garden; every
- 7:33thought you plant in it will grow one
- 7:36way or another. If you fill it with
- 7:40fear, comparisons, and negative energy,
- 7:43it is only natural that you will feel
- 7:46tired. Not everything you see is worth
- 7:51your attention, and not everyone
- 7:53deserves a place in your world. There
- 7:57are things that do not need to be
- 7:59fought; they just need to be walked
- 8:01away from. True maturity is not knowing
- 8:05how to respond to everything, but
- 8:07knowing what does not deserve a
- 8:09response from you. Guard your mind.
- 8:13Just as you guard your home, do not
- 8:15open the door to everything. The fourth
- 8:20habit is to take care of your body as
- 8:22part of your mental health. Many people
- 8:26separate the mind and the body as if
- 8:29they were two distinct things. But the
- 8:33truth is that a human is one single
- 8:35unit. Lack of sleep affects your
- 8:39feelings, physical neglect affects your
- 8:42energy, and lack of movement affects
- 8:45your mood. Sometimes a person does not
- 8:49need a complex solution. Perhaps they
- 8:54just need better sleep, a simple walk,
- 8:57and food that gives them energy.
- 9:02Self-care is not always books, courses,
- 9:04and deep meditations; sometimes, it is
- 9:06just that. It could be a glass of water
- 9:11you drink, a set time to sleep early,
- 9:13or a decision to treat your body with
- 9:16respect. The fifth habit is learning
- 9:20the art of setting boundaries. One of
- 9:24the most draining things is living to
- 9:27please everyone—saying yes when you
- 9:30want to say no, staying silent when you
- 9:33need to express yourself, and carrying
- 9:36others 'emotions while forgetting your
- 9:39own. But the truth is, setting
- 9:42boundaries isn't cruelty; it's respect.
- 9:47You don't set them because you dislike
- 9:49others, but because you love yourself
- 9:52enough not to let anyone consume your
- 9:55peace. You aren't required to be
- 9:58available all the time, nor are you
- 10:01required to explain yourself to
- 10:03everyone. True relief comes when you
- 10:07stop trying to make everyone understand
- 10:10you. The sixth habit is to live in the
- 10:15moment. Instead of getting lost between
- 10:17the past and the future. How many times
- 10:21has a person sat in a beautiful place,
- 10:24yet was...Thinking of a problem from
- 10:26yesterday or a fear awaiting them
- 10:28tomorrow? We rob ourselves of life's
- 10:34most beautiful moments when we live in
- 10:37places where we do not exist. The past
- 10:41is over, taking its opportunities and
- 10:43mistakes with it, and the future hasn't
- 10:46arrived yet to justify carrying its
- 10:48full weight. As for the present moment,
- 10:51it is the only thing we truly possess.
- 10:56Learn to drink your coffee while
- 10:58present, to listen to those you love
- 11:01while present, and to view small things
- 11:03as if they were a gift. Life isn't just
- 11:07the big events we remember, but the
- 11:10tiny details whose beauty we often
- 11:12overlook. The seventh habit is to
- 11:15become a friend to yourself. You may
- 11:19pass through stages in life where you
- 11:22find no one who understands you as you
- 11:24wish, and you may sometimes feel you
- 11:27are walking a path no one else sees. In
- 11:31those moments, do not be the person who
- 11:34adds to your pain. Give yourself
- 11:38security. Speak to yourself with
- 11:41kindness. Celebrate your progress, even
- 11:44if it is simple. Forgive yourself when
- 11:49you stumble, because a person needs
- 11:52someone throughout their life...To
- 11:54support them, and the first person who
- 11:57should be by your side is yourself. In
- 12:02the end, remember that caring for
- 12:04yourself isn't a journey to reach
- 12:07perfection, but a journey of learning
- 12:10how to love the person who will
- 12:12accompany you for a lifetime. Your life
- 12:17might not change immediately after
- 12:19hearing these words, and that is
- 12:22natural, for great trees do not grow in
- 12:25a single day. But perhaps today you can
- 12:29start with a small step—a
- 12:32compassionate word you say to yourself,
- 12:35a healthy habit you choose, or a moment
- 12:39of calm you grant your heart. With time
- 12:43, you will discover that you didn't
- 12:45need to become someone else; you only
- 12:48needed to return to yourself. Thank you
- 12:53for being here and for dedicating a
- 12:56portion of your time to these moments.
- 13:00I hope this episode has reached your
- 13:03heart before your ears. And that you
- 13:07take something small from it to
- 13:08accompany you in the coming days.
- 13:12Always remember to take care of
- 13:14yourself, for there is a beautiful
- 13:16version of you waiting for the chance
- 13:19to emerge. Until we meet again. Stay
- 13:23close to yourself, close to your dreams
- 13:26. And do not forget that the peace you
- 13:30seek in the world begins within you. Be
- 13:33well, and stay in peace.
