- 0:00There is one unpleasant truth that
- 0:02almost no one wants to admit out loud.
- 0:04At the moment of a breakup, people
- 0:05aren't grieving the loss of a person,
- 0:07but the loss of power. And the harder
- 0:10you cling to your ex, the clearer it
- 0:12becomes that this isn't a romantic
- 0:14catastrophe, but a simple and very
- 0:16painful demonstration that you no
- 0:18longer influence anyone's decisions,
- 0:20you don't set the tone, you don't
- 0:22define the distance; you’re just
- 0:24drifting along with someone else's will
- 0:26, like a leaf in a puddle, convincing
- 0:28yourself that you’re still in control
- 0:30of something. My name is Evgeny
- 0:33Vakhmistrov. If you’re used to
- 0:35listening to bloggers who say you need
- 0:38to be honest, show softness, and
- 0:41explain your feelings, then brace
- 0:43yourself. I’m not in the category of
- 0:45people who pat you on the head. I tell
- 0:47you what works, not what sounds
- 0:49pleasant. Because when a relationship
- 0:52falls apart, you don't need a
- 0:54psychological blanket, but an ice-cold
- 0:56shower that clears your head faster
- 0:58than any closed gestalt. Subscribe to
- 1:01the channel if you want to hear the
- 1:02truth without the lullabies. Let's
- 1:05start with the harshest part. Most
- 1:06people start losing within the first 24
- 1:09hours after a breakup because they
- 1:11automatically switch on the mode: "I
- 1:13must prove I’m not a bad person. I
- 1:16need to explain myself, I need to
- 1:18reassure them, I need to show I’m
- 1:20reasonable." And this set of phrases
- 1:23sounds equally stupid from both men and
- 1:25women. It doesn’t matter what gender
- 1:27you are. Desperation makes any person
- 1:30predictable, and worst of all, it makes
- 1:33them safe for the person who left. And
- 1:37when you become safe, you stop being
- 1:39interesting. Harsh, yes, but it’s the
- 1:42truth. A person who doesn't decide
- 1:44anything has no weight. You can be
- 1:47smart, beautiful, and successful. You
- 1:50can write smart posts, go to the gym,
- 1:52wear expensive perfume, and have an
- 1:53interesting life. But if at the moment
- 1:57of the breakup you turn into a
- 1:59trembling person who says, "Give me a
- 2:01chance," everything you’ve built is
- 2:03instantly devalued. Because power isn't
- 2:07about who you are, but about how you
- 2:09behave when you are dumped. And that is
- 2:12why most men and women make the same
- 2:15mistake. They react, they text, they
- 2:18ask, they try to understand, they
- 2:21demand explanations, they want closure.
- 2:24They look for this damn justice that
- 2:27nobody gives a damn about. And the
- 2:29reality is simple: he who reacts, loses
- 2:31. Because reaction is equal to
- 2:33admitting someone else's power over
- 2:35your state of mind. If your ex can hit
- 2:38one ignore button and you turn into an
- 2:40emotional wreck, walking around your
- 2:43apartment as if life is over, then
- 2:45let’s be honest. You didn't lose love
- 2:48; you lost your place in the hierarchy.
- 2:51Now that you're at the bottom, you're
- 2:53trying to talk your way back up. But
- 2:56words don't lift you up. Words only
- 2:59show how far you have fallen. And this
- 3:02applies to all men who think that if
- 3:05they explain how bad they feel, a woman
- 3:07will soften. And women who think that
- 3:10if they explain the reasons, a man will
- 3:12come to his senses. No, both sides are
- 3:16equally mistaken because logic doesn't
- 3:19work during a breakup; power dynamics
- 3:22do. And here is the most interesting
- 3:24part. True power is always where there
- 3:27is uncertainty. Where the person
- 3:29doesn't understand what is inside you.
- 3:32Where they cannot predict how you will
- 3:34act. Where their brain feels no control
- 3:37. And what do 95%of people do after a
- 3:40breakup? They surrender all power
- 3:43voluntarily, write long texts, explain
- 3:45reasons, and beg to be heard. They say
- 3:48they are ready to change. And with this
- 3:50, they do not bring back love. They
- 3:52sign up for the role of the dependent.
- 3:54And here, right in the middle of your
- 3:57fall, you need to say one thing that
- 3:59will save your life, your respect, and
- 4:01the chance for your ex to act normal. I
- 4:04left a voice note in my Telegram
- 4:07explaining one thing that 99%of people
- 4:10learn too late. Why do exes become
- 4:13colder not after the breakup, but after
- 4:15your attempts to explain everything
- 4:17like a human being? This is the moment
- 4:20when you think you're getting closer,
- 4:22but in reality, you're confirming your
- 4:24dependency once and for all. Go and
- 4:27listen. Then come back here, and much
- 4:30more will become clear. Continuing on.
- 4:33The problem with most is that they
- 4:35consider a breakup a drama. In reality,
- 4:38a breakup is an exam of your value. And
- 4:41even if it sounds harsh, it's the truth
- 4:43. Your value is equal to your behavior
- 4:46in moments of uncertainty—not in
- 4:48moments of happiness, not in moments of
- 4:50sex, not in moments of saying "I love
- 4:53you," but in moments when everything
- 4:55goes to hell. If a person sees that you
- 4:59fall apart when they disappear, they
- 5:01realize your value only existed when
- 5:03they were giving you attention. This is
- 5:07a humiliating thought. It’s
- 5:09unpleasant to admit. You can be worth
- 5:11your weight in gold, but if you act
- 5:13like someone who has lost their way
- 5:15without someone else’s approval, you
- 5:18turn into an emotional debtor. And
- 5:20debtors are not loved, not wanted, and
- 5:22not taken back. They are used. And this
- 5:25is where what people call manipulation
- 5:27begins. Although it’s not
- 5:29manipulation, it’s a restoration of
- 5:31balance. You stop being predictable,
- 5:35you stop explaining yourself, you stop
- 5:37reacting, you stop giving emotional
- 5:39reports; you start regaining power not
- 5:42through talk, not through texts, and
- 5:44not by trying to prove you're a good
- 5:46person, but through behavior, silence,
- 5:49and uncertainty. Because power isn’t
- 5:52the volume of your words, it’s the
- 5:55silence you can endure. And when you
- 5:58stop being predictable, your ex for the
- 6:00first time in a long while starts to
- 6:03feel that control slipping, and
- 6:05that’s when things get interesting.
- 6:08The person starts looking at you not
- 6:10from above, but eye-to-eye, assessing
- 6:12what’s happening and why you suddenly
- 6:14stopped shaking as if you could be
- 6:16tossed to the curb. When emotions
- 6:18finally subside enough that you can
- 6:20view the situation not through the
- 6:22hysterical magnifying glass of pain,
- 6:24but through the sober eyes of someone
- 6:26who understands relationship mechanics.
- 6:28A moment arrives that decides
- 6:30everything. You must restructure the
- 6:33very dynamic between you and your ex,
- 6:35because it’s impossible to get them
- 6:37back while the old model stands between
- 6:39you, where one suffers and the other
- 6:41watches. One is chasing, and the other
- 6:44is choosing. One is trying to
- 6:45understand, and the other is calmly
- 6:46living their life. And this all sounds
- 6:49harsh, but it works unfailingly,
- 6:51because the human psyche isn't wired
- 6:54for romance or morality, but for
- 6:56primitive biology, which reacts not to
- 6:59words, but to behavior. The old dynamic
- 7:02cannot be fixed by talking; the old
- 7:04dynamic cannot be fixed by explanations
- 7:07. The old dynamic cannot be fixed by
- 7:09trying to become better. It can only be
- 7:11broken. And that is exactly what most
- 7:15people don't do, because they think
- 7:17breaking it is cruel, rude, or unfair.
- 7:21But the reality is that if you don't
- 7:23break the old dynamic, it will continue
- 7:25to break you until you finally turn
- 7:27into an emotional debtor who only
- 7:29receives happiness with another
- 7:31person's permission. And this isn't
- 7:34about love, it's about dependency. And
- 7:36dependency always works in one
- 7:38direction. Breaking the dynamic starts
- 7:41with you stopping acting out of fear.
- 7:44Fear is the ultimate destroyer. Fear of
- 7:47loss makes you a slave. Fear of
- 7:49offending makes you convenient. Fear of
- 7:52being misunderstood makes you formless.
- 7:54Fear of being alone makes you
- 7:56replaceable. In people of different
- 7:58genders, fear manifests differently,
- 8:00but leads to the same outcome. Power
- 8:02ends up with the one who has nothing to
- 8:04fear. And here is where the most
- 8:06important internal process begins. You
- 8:09must switch off the dependency. Not the
- 8:11feelings, not the desire, not the
- 8:13interest, but specifically the
- 8:14dependency. Because dependency is a
- 8:17noose that they only take you off of
- 8:19when you can no longer walk properly.
- 8:22Switching off the dependency means
- 8:23stopping the interpretation of every
- 8:25reaction from your ex as having some
- 8:26deep meaning. They read it, but didn't
- 8:28reply. She replied coldly. He was
- 8:31online, but stayed silent. She watched
- 8:33your story, but didn't write anything.
- 8:35In that moment, your brain makes
- 8:36exactly one mistake. It starts to
- 8:38consider another person's behavior more
- 8:41important than your own internal state.
- 8:44And when someone else's behavior
- 8:45becomes more important than your own,
- 8:47you have lost. And that is why the
- 8:50first thing you need to do is destroy
- 8:52the habit of guessing, stop
- 8:54interpreting, stop reading into hints,
- 8:56analyzing tones, or picking at brows in
- 8:59search of signs that don't even exist.
- 9:02Because as long as you are trying to
- 9:03understand your ex, your ex feels
- 9:05superior to you. And yes, this applies
- 9:07to everyone. Men turn a woman into an
- 9:09idol. Women turn a man into a prophet.
- 9:12And in the end, both turn an ordinary
- 9:15person into a mythical figure upon whom
- 9:17their mood, confidence, and even
- 9:19self-worth depend. That is dependency.
- 9:22But the most important point is not to
- 9:24ignore the person, but to stop reacting
- 9:26emotionally. Ignoring is a tactic.
- 9:29Emotional neutrality is a state of mind
- 9:32. Anyone can instantly feel when you
- 9:35are reacting. Reaction equals power.
- 9:38Neutrality equals uncertainty, and
- 9:40uncertainty is what breaks the dynamic.
- 9:43When a person doesn't understand what
- 9:45is going on inside you, their brain
- 9:46starts searching for answers. When they
- 9:49can no longer read your mood from the
- 9:50first seconds of a message, they start
- 9:52to get tense. When you stop flinching
- 9:56at every letter, they start wondering
- 9:58if you are truly still under their
- 10:00influence. It is right here, in this
- 10:03pause, that the old model begins to
- 10:04break. The person feels a threat for
- 10:07the first time—the threat of loss.
- 10:09But the threat of loss only appears in
- 10:11one case: when you stop bending, not by
- 10:13faking coldness or acting like a stone,
- 10:16but by actually stopping your pursuit
- 10:18where no one is waiting for you. You
- 10:20stop writing first, you stop clarifying
- 10:23, you stop asking, you stop making
- 10:25excuses, you stop trying to fix the
- 10:27relationship. And suddenly, it turns
- 10:30out that the ex-man or ex-woman starts
- 10:32behaving atypically. Watching stories
- 10:35more often, reacting to little things,
- 10:37popping up in messages, checking your
- 10:40online status, throwing little hooks
- 10:42like "how are you" or "you've changed."
- 10:44It is important to understand here:
- 10:46this is not interest, this is anxiety.
- 10:48Anxiety is the first signal of a shift
- 10:51in dynamics. But anxiety is not born
- 10:53from resentment. Anxiety is born from
- 10:56the loss of control. When a person is
- 10:58used to you always being nearby, always
- 11:00available, always understandable,
- 11:02always predictable. The disappearance
- 11:04of this convenience is perceived as a
- 11:06blow to the nervous system. And this is
- 11:09exactly your tool. Not revenge, not a
- 11:12game, not manipulation in a dirty sense
- 11:14, but shifting the center of power back
- 11:16to you. That is why you mustn't break
- 11:19down, that is why you mustn't text at
- 11:20night. That is why you mustn't try to
- 11:22explain your position once and for all.
- 11:24That is why you mustn't start
- 11:26conversations about feelings. That is
- 11:28why you mustn't look for honesty where
- 11:30people act not with honesty, but with
- 11:32instincts. You don't have to be
- 11:34stone-cold; you have to be resilient.
- 11:36Resilience is when you don't fall apart
- 11:38because of someone else's silence.
- 11:41Resilience is when you don't cave under
- 11:43attempts to test you. Resilience is
- 11:46when you don't take weak steps just
- 11:48because you feel unpleasant inside. And
- 11:50the longer you hold this line, the more
- 11:53your ex begins to feel exactly what
- 11:55only you felt before. Uncertainty,
- 11:57anxiety, interest, inner tension, and
- 12:00the desire to understand what the hell
- 12:02is happening to you. And this is not
- 12:05magic or karma. This is pure dynamic
- 12:07biology. A person values what is no
- 12:10longer available. When a person begins
- 12:12to understand that regaining power in a
- 12:14relationship is not about emotions,
- 12:16conversations, or even distance itself,
- 12:19but rather the ability to shift the
- 12:21structure of perception, where you turn
- 12:23from a predictable resource into an
- 12:25enigmatic factor that creates inner
- 12:27tension. It is at this moment that the
- 12:30need arises to use those tools which
- 12:32many call manipulations, although in
- 12:34essence, it is merely the competent
- 12:37management of attention, interest, and
- 12:39psychological dynamics. And this is the
- 12:42very stage that determines whether your
- 12:44ex will have a mental breakthrough
- 12:46leading to their return, or if they
- 12:48will remain a calm observer who feels
- 12:50nothing in your absence. Because a
- 12:53person who understands that power rests
- 12:55on three things—uncertainty, distance
- 12:58, and inner balance—starts to act
- 13:00based on strategy rather than reactions
- 13:02. And strategy is always built on not
- 13:05letting your ex feel that you are still
- 13:08dependent on their opinion, reaction,
- 13:11or emotional state. And therefore, any
- 13:14interactions must be structured so that
- 13:16you appear neither cold nor angry, but
- 13:18simply as a person who has no intention
- 13:21of coming back. [This breaks] the old
- 13:23script where your value was measured by
- 13:25the number of concessions you made. The
- 13:27first technique you need to master is
- 13:30controlled uncertainty, which works not
- 13:33by disappearing or theatrical ignoring,
- 13:35but through a state where you respond
- 13:38as if you cannot be shaken, even if
- 13:40your brain is on fire. Because an ex
- 13:44never reacts to facts; they react to a
- 13:46sense of control. And if they feel that
- 13:49you are still emotionally under their
- 13:51thumb, they are relaxed. But if they
- 13:53realize that the old button used to
- 13:55trigger your reactions no longer works,
- 13:57they start to get nervous. And this
- 13:59nervousness is your main resource,
- 14:00triggering a return of interest that
- 14:02cannot be evoked with words alone. The
- 14:05second important technique is
- 14:07switched-off interest, which is not
- 14:09about mindlessly ignoring someone, but
- 14:11is a state where you stop reporting on
- 14:14yourself, stop giving long answers,
- 14:16stop justifying your absence, and stop
- 14:18playing the transparent person who can
- 14:21be read in three messages, because your
- 14:23predictability has always been your
- 14:26curse. And only when a person stops
- 14:28understanding what is inside you do
- 14:29they begin to look for answers
- 14:31themselves. And when they start looking
- 14:33, they are already in the process of
- 14:34being pulled back in. The third
- 14:36technique is an external life as a
- 14:38trigger for jealousy. And this is not
- 14:40about staged stories where you pretend
- 14:43to be living a perfectly ideal life.
- 14:45It's about real actions that show
- 14:47you're working on yourself, rather than
- 14:49sitting by the window like a character
- 14:51in a cheap romance novel. Waiting for
- 14:53your ex to decide to toss you another
- 14:56crumb of attention, because real
- 14:58busyness, real growth, and real
- 15:00activity create the contrast that makes
- 15:03exes start feeling the threat of loss.
- 15:06And the threat of loss always works
- 15:08more effectively than any declaration
- 15:10of love. The fourth technique is the
- 15:13proper distribution of reactions,
- 15:15because most people either disappear
- 15:17entirely or go to extremes, thinking
- 15:19that the more they stay silent or the
- 15:21colder they reply, the stronger the
- 15:23effect. Although in reality, the effect
- 15:27only occurs when your reactions become
- 15:30moderate, calm, and brief, but not
- 15:32arrogant—when you reply as if you
- 15:34have things to do, but don't shut the
- 15:37door, not keeping it wide open, but not
- 15:39closing it either. And it is this
- 15:42balance that creates the feeling that
- 15:44the situation has changed, that you
- 15:46aren't trying to bring back the past,
- 15:48but are creating a new dynamic where
- 15:50the ex no longer holds their former
- 15:52power. The fifth technique is
- 15:54behavioral contrast, which means not
- 15:56holding one line constantly, but
- 15:58changing your tone so the person feels
- 16:01liveliness, not predictability. Today
- 16:04you reply calmly, tomorrow a bit more
- 16:06briefly, the day after normally, but
- 16:08without excess emotion. And this very
- 16:10effect of ambiguity creates that
- 16:12psychological imbalance that the person
- 16:15used to create for you, but is now
- 16:17receiving in return. And that is
- 16:20exactly why they start wondering what
- 16:22is going on and why you have stopped
- 16:24being who you were. The sixth technique
- 16:27is shifting the focus, which works best
- 16:29because a person automatically starts
- 16:32thinking about what they no longer
- 16:33understand, and exes, as a rule, start
- 16:36feeling discomfort not when you
- 16:37disappear, but when you haven't
- 16:39disappeared, yet stopped being an
- 16:41emotional debtor. When you are present
- 16:44but not clinging, when you respond but
- 16:46aren't pouring your whole soul into it.
- 16:49When you don't put on a performance of
- 16:51pain, but simply act as if life goes on
- 16:54. And it is this mature normalcy that
- 16:56begins to shatter the myth that you are
- 16:58who they are used to seeing. And the
- 17:01seventh technique is the correct
- 17:03reaction to their tests. Because exes
- 17:05never come back right away. They first
- 17:09cast weak signals, like: "So, how have
- 17:10you been?""You've been quiet, you've
- 17:13changed." And at that very moment, most
- 17:16people make a fatal mistake, opening up
- 17:18like a tin can and throwing away all
- 17:20their progress in five seconds. But the
- 17:23right line is calmness, neutrality, and
- 17:26short answers that don't cut them off,
- 17:28but don't swing the doors wide open
- 17:30either. Because your task is not to
- 17:32show coldness, but to show
- 17:34self-sufficiency. And all of this is
- 17:36not about games or revenge, but about
- 17:38restoring balance. Because until this
- 17:40moment, the balance was skewed in one
- 17:43direction. And only when you stop
- 17:45playing by the old rules does the
- 17:47person start to see you not as an
- 17:49emotional resource, but as a person who
- 17:51can be lost. When someone who used to
- 17:54look down on you begins to show the
- 17:57first signs that their internal
- 17:59structure is wavering, it's not because
- 18:01you’ve become better, more beautiful,
- 18:03or smarter, but because the old dynamic
- 18:06, where you were an emotional donor,
- 18:08has ceased to exist. And now they are
- 18:11forced to find a new way to understand
- 18:14what place you hold in their world. And
- 18:16this process always starts
- 18:18imperceptibly. With small tests, subtle
- 18:21signals, and messages without meaning
- 18:23but with a huge psychological subtext.
- 18:26Because the person who thought you
- 18:28would always stay close and react at
- 18:30the first snap of their fingers
- 18:32suddenly faces the fact that you have
- 18:34stopped serving as a convenient
- 18:36resource. These tests look the same
- 18:39across all genders, even if the masks
- 18:40are different. Men might pretend they
- 18:43just decided to check in on how you're
- 18:45doing. Women might mask their interest
- 18:47as light curiosity. Under the innocent
- 18:49phrase: "Why did you disappear?" But in
- 18:52both cases, the same mechanism is at
- 18:54work. It is an attempt to regain the
- 18:57control they lost the moment you
- 18:59stopped being predictable. That is why
- 19:03your first task is not to give yourself
- 19:05away and not to show that these tests
- 19:07mean more to you than they should. If
- 19:11you really want to change the dynamic,
- 19:13you must understand that this moment is
- 19:16the most important, because this is
- 19:18where most people ruin all their
- 19:20progress by reacting too warmly, too
- 19:22quickly, and too joyfully, thinking
- 19:25that this is finally the chance, the
- 19:27sign, the turning point. But the
- 19:30reality is that this is not a chance,
- 19:31but a test. And a test that checks not
- 19:34your love, not your kindness, and not
- 19:36your sincerity, but your resilience,
- 19:38your ability to withstand uncertainty,
- 19:40and your ability not to return to the
- 19:42old role. And if you fail this test,
- 19:46everything goes back to the past, as if
- 19:49you had done nothing at all. When a
- 19:51person writes to you after a pause,
- 19:53they don’t want to hear your story.
- 19:56They want to feel your reaction,
- 19:58because for them, a reaction is an
- 19:59indicator of power. And if your
- 20:02reaction is instantaneous, emotional,
- 20:04and overflowing with expectations, you
- 20:06are effectively telling them: "You are
- 20:09still in control of me." And you
- 20:11immediately and automatically return to
- 20:13the old position, where your value is
- 20:15measured by your availability, not by
- 20:18your independence. So, the right way to
- 20:21behave is not coldness, ignoring, or
- 20:23passive aggression, but a calmness that
- 20:26carries no attempt to impress, no
- 20:27attempt to show: "Look how well I'm
- 20:30doing without you." And there is no
- 20:32attempt to take revenge, because
- 20:34revenge is just another form of
- 20:36dependency, simply inverted. And
- 20:38dependency of any kind is giving power
- 20:41back to a person who doesn't deserve it
- 20:44. The right behavior is moderate
- 20:46involvement, which looks something like
- 20:48this: "You reply, but don't open up.
- 20:51You express yourself, but don't impose.
- 20:54You are present, but don't cling. You
- 20:56signal normalcy, but don't give off the
- 20:58vibe of a lovesick idiot who was
- 21:00waiting for that message like it was
- 21:03manna from heaven." Such a response
- 21:05does two things at once. It lowers the
- 21:08ex's anxiety just enough to maintain a
- 21:10connection, but raises their internal
- 21:12interest enough so that the person
- 21:14starts looking for additional hooks
- 21:16they used to get effortlessly. This
- 21:19setup triggers a backdraft effect,
- 21:21where the ex starts becoming more
- 21:23involved than you are. Not because they
- 21:26love you, but because they no longer
- 21:28understand what is happening, and the
- 21:30brain doesn't like that. When an ex
- 21:33starts showing more activity—likes,
- 21:35stories, check-in messages, casual
- 21:38mentions, attempts to open a dialogue
- 21:40with empty phrases like "Cool photo" or
- 21:42"Haven't seen you in a while." It is
- 21:45important to understand that none of
- 21:47this is about romance or longing.
- 21:49It’s all about the anxiety that grows
- 21:51because the person senses your
- 21:53stability, and this stability forces
- 21:55them to think about you more than they
- 21:57intended to. The most common mistake is
- 22:00to sharply increase your involvement in
- 22:02response. To give the warmth you once
- 22:05gave unconditionally, and thereby
- 22:08destroy the state of uncertainty that
- 22:10made the ex come back. But the most
- 22:13correct thing is to keep a 50/50 line,
- 22:15where you respond with the same energy
- 22:17you are approached with, but not a gram
- 22:19more. And this is what makes the
- 22:23dynamic balanced, because you don't
- 22:25feel dependent, and the ex doesn't feel
- 22:27like they own the situation. And for
- 22:29the first time in a long time, there is
- 22:32an equilibrium between you, without
- 22:33which any reconciliation will be a
- 22:35fiction. But even when a person starts
- 22:37to get involved, it is important to
- 22:39understand that this is not the end of
- 22:40the road, but the beginning. Because at
- 22:42this moment, both men and women start
- 22:45testing boundaries, studying your new
- 22:48behavior pattern, trying to understand
- 22:50how real it is, how stable it is, and
- 22:53how much it depends on their reactions.
- 22:56And if you crumble again at a single
- 22:58warm message, you confirm that you
- 23:00weren't strong, you were just playing a
- 23:03role. And a role always loses to
- 23:05reality. The right strategy is to
- 23:07maintain internal balance, not to build
- 23:09illusions, not to create scenarios in
- 23:11your head, and not to perceive interest
- 23:13as a guaranteed return. Because a
- 23:16return is not a moment, but a process
- 23:18consisting of pressure, uncertainty,
- 23:21interest, slight jealousy, calmness,
- 23:23and a gradual shift of power to where
- 23:26it should have been initially: to you.
- 23:29And the most important thing is not to
- 23:31think that the person who returned has
- 23:33returned for good. Because a return is
- 23:35not a victory; it is a test. And only
- 23:38your ability to maintain a new
- 23:40behavioral model will determine whether
- 23:42all this will make sense or if the same
- 23:45scenario you tried to escape will
- 23:47repeat. When a person finally begins to
- 23:50return to your field of attention, when
- 23:52they write more often than you expect,
- 23:54when they take an interest in your life
- 23:56as if nothing had happened, when they
- 23:58start showing initiative that they used
- 24:00to squeeze out with glitches. This is
- 24:03precisely where most people make their
- 24:04most terrible mistake. They perceive
- 24:07this as proof that everything has been
- 24:09restored, that the old scenario is
- 24:11working again, that now they can relax
- 24:13and act as if fate has given them a
- 24:15second chance. But the reality is that
- 24:18no second chance exists. There is only
- 24:22an opportunity to reinforce a new
- 24:24dynamic or destroy it with your own
- 24:26hands through one awkward, overly
- 24:28emotional, or too hasty reaction, which
- 24:30will send you right back to where you
- 24:32were—to the lower level. The return
- 24:35of an ex is not a victory, but an exam.
- 24:37And like any exam, it tests not your
- 24:39knowledge, but your ability to maintain
- 24:42your state. Because you can learn the
- 24:45theory a thousand times, but if at the
- 24:47person's very first attempt to see
- 24:49where things are headed, you turn back
- 24:51into someone who is afraid of losing,
- 24:53then all your work, all the distance,
- 24:55all the tension you endured turns to
- 24:57ash. Because the person immediately
- 25:00reads one thing: you haven't changed,
- 25:02you were just playing a role.
- 25:04Maintaining power is the ability not to
- 25:06fall apart when the situation gets
- 25:08better. The paradox is that it is
- 25:10harder to maintain success than it is
- 25:12to maintain distance. Many can maintain
- 25:14distance, but only a few can maintain
- 25:16success. When an ex gets closer, you
- 25:18need to act not with your gut, not with
- 25:20your heart, not with resentment or hope
- 25:22, but specifically with your head.
- 25:24Because at this very moment, the person
- 25:27is testing how much more stable your
- 25:29new version is than the old one, how
- 25:31much your dynamic does not depend on
- 25:33random praise or a warm phrase, and how
- 25:35capable you are of maintaining inner
- 25:37independence. Even when what used to
- 25:40make your knees shake looms before you.
- 25:43And here it is important to understand
- 25:44one simple truth. If you want to
- 25:46maintain respect, you must maintain
- 25:49distance even in intimacy. This does
- 25:51not mean being cold, it does not mean
- 25:53being cruel, it does not mean playing
- 25:55hard to get. It means you do not return
- 25:57to a model where your emotions are
- 25:59subordinate to the reaction of another.
- 26:02Because respect disappears at the exact
- 26:04moment you place the mood of another
- 26:06person above your own state. And this
- 26:09applies to both men and women equally,
- 26:11because both genders lose value just
- 26:14the same when dependency becomes
- 26:16obvious. Therefore, when an ex starts
- 26:19appearing in your life, hold the line,
- 26:21respond calmly, but don't rush. Show
- 26:23interest, but don't cling. Be engaged,
- 26:26but don't dissolve into them. Let them
- 26:29get closer, but don't change your
- 26:30behavior based on someone else's
- 26:31emotions. Show warmth, but don't allow
- 26:34the person to take a position above you
- 26:35again. Your task is not to win them
- 26:38back, but to rebuild. Winning them back
- 26:41is easy, but rebuilding is hard,
- 26:42because you can win them back with just
- 26:45a random message or an emotional
- 26:47rollercoaster, but you can only rebuild
- 26:49through stability, an inner core, and
- 26:51the ability not to jump out of your
- 26:53pants when your ex shows attention.
- 26:56When a person sees that you hold your
- 26:58line, don't play games, don't stage
- 26:59spectacles, and don't act like a robot,
- 27:01yet don't hand over all your power
- 27:03voluntarily, they begin to perceive you
- 27:05as an equal, rather than an emotional
- 27:07cushion to dump their reactions onto.
- 27:09And only here, at this stage, does the
- 27:11main fear that everything will repeat
- 27:13itself go away. It will only repeat in
- 27:15one case: if you lower your boundaries
- 27:17yourself. So remember, don't apologize
- 27:20for the past unless you were asked to.
- 27:23Don't promise what you don't intend to
- 27:25fulfill. Don't explain yourself where
- 27:27you just need to live. Don't fold where
- 27:29you need to set the pace. Don't lose
- 27:31yourself, even if you are standing in
- 27:33front of the most desirable person you
- 27:36have ever met. Because if you lose
- 27:38yourself, you will always lose them too
- 27:41. This is a law of dynamics with no
- 27:43exceptions. The return of an ex is not
- 27:46a gift; it is a responsibility. It is a
- 27:49moment where you finally return power
- 27:52to where it should be—to you.
- 27:54Everything else is built around your
- 27:56behavior, your stability, your calm,
- 27:59and your ability not to jump for joy as
- 28:01if you're looking at a prize instead of
- 28:04a human being. And here is the final
- 28:06thought that both men and women need to
- 28:09hear. You can get your ex back, but if
- 28:11you haven't gotten yourself back, you
- 28:12will lose them again. Because respect
- 28:14is not a feeling, it is a structure.
- 28:18And this structure is built only when
- 28:19you don't sell your value for someone
- 28:21else's approval. And now, the most
- 28:24important part. In my Telegram, I have
- 28:26posted a final breakdown on how to
- 28:28maintain the new dynamic so your ex
- 28:29doesn't walk all over you again. How to
- 28:32tell if a person has really returned,
- 28:34rather than just testing boundaries,
- 28:36and how to build a relationship so that
- 28:38the power is finally in your hands?
- 28:41Check it out. This is something that
- 28:43turns the minds of everyone who has
- 28:45been in this situation.
