- 0:14When he heard the description of his
- 0:17state, Badr imprisoned his secret
- 0:20within the will of his aura. He became
- 0:24aware of what was hidden within it. I
- 0:27unveiled to him a glimpse of its
- 0:29meanings. I saw that he had listened to
- 0:34me with his entire being. He
- 0:37transcended the observation of his own
- 0:39psyche. I turned my face toward him,
- 0:44while he was absorbed in what I had
- 0:47presented, thirsty for more of what I
- 0:50had recited. And he asked me for more.
- 0:56My brothers in God, these are
- 0:58magnificent words written by Sheikh
- 0:59Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi. Describing in them
- 1:03Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him. And
- 1:06about the state that will befall him
- 1:09when he hears the Sheikh’s words. He
- 1:12describes his condition and what
- 1:14happens to him. He will be amazed and
- 1:17astonished by these words the Sheikh
- 1:19speaks. And they apply directly to him.
- 1:22My brothers in God, for anyone who
- 1:25wants to know more about these
- 1:27wonderful words written by Sheikh
- 1:29Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi describing Imam
- 1:31Mahdi before the night of his reform,
- 1:34stay with us in this video and do not
- 1:36go away. In the name of God, the Most
- 1:47Gracious, the Most Merciful. And peace
- 1:48and blessings be upon the Prophet of
- 1:50God, Muhammad, may God bless him and
- 1:51his family and grant them peace. And
- 1:53may God bless and grant peace to all
- 1:56the prophets, messengers, righteous
- 1:58saints of God, and those who followed
- 2:00them in righteousness until the Day of
- 2:02Judgment. Furthermore, may the peace of
- 2:05God Almighty be upon you all. My
- 2:07brothers in God, in this video we will
- 2:10talk about the Mahdi. Whom Sheikh
- 2:14Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi speaks of,
- 2:16describing him as an ordinary person.
- 2:20He did not know himself in the
- 2:22beginning. And he will remain so until
- 2:27his journey and search for God Almighty
- 2:30begins. After his heart becomes
- 2:34attached to God Almighty, and his heart
- 2:36is flooded and filled with the love of
- 2:38God. This will happen to him at a time
- 2:43when he will ask himself: Who are the
- 2:45righteous saints of God? And who are
- 2:48these Gnostics (Arifeen) of God whom he
- 2:51hears about? And why were they given
- 2:55this name? The name "Gnostics of God"
- 2:58—are they truly Gnostics of God? From
- 3:01here, his journey of searching for
- 3:03these Gnostics of God will begin. He
- 3:06will be overcome with curiosity to know
- 3:09the sayings and words of these sheikhs
- 3:13whom people have named the Gnostics of
- 3:16God. He will begin searching thoroughly
- 3:19through the books and poems of these
- 3:22Gnostics of God. And this stems from
- 3:25his intense love for God Almighty. For
- 3:29this is the goal he strives for. His
- 3:33search for these Gnostics of God came
- 3:36from the premise that these sheikhs
- 3:39speak about their experience in their
- 3:42search for the love of God, the
- 3:44knowledge of God, and drawing near to
- 3:47God Almighty to the degree of
- 3:49annihilation (fana). And this is what
- 3:53made him search through the books and
- 3:57poems of these Gnostic sheikhs. And
- 4:01this is also what he is searching for.
- 4:04He did not know that he was the Mahdi.
- 4:08And that matter did not even cross his
- 4:11mind. In fact, he was not even
- 4:13interested in the affair of the Mahdi
- 4:14at that time, nor was he looking for
- 4:16him. My brothers in God, Sheikh
- 4:20Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi reveals to us very
- 4:22important secrets about the states of
- 4:25the Mahdi, peace be upon him. Which
- 4:28will happen to him during the period he
- 4:30will live before the night of his
- 4:32reform. My brothers in God, stay with
- 4:35us and do not go away. For there are
- 4:38many secrets that Sheikh Ibn Arabi
- 4:40mentioned within the folds of his words
- 4:42. Which he will direct to Imam Mahdi,
- 4:46peace be upon him. And which we will
- 4:49learn about after this break. We are
- 5:01back, my brothers in God, let us
- 5:03quickly go to begin explaining the
- 5:05wonderful words. Written by Sheikh
- 5:08Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi. He directs it
- 5:11toward Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him.
- 5:14As Sheikh Ibn Arabi says: When he heard
- 5:17the description of his state. Here,
- 5:21Sheikh Ibn Arabi is speaking about Imam
- 5:24Mahdi, peace be upon him. He says that
- 5:28through his research and hearing Ibn
- 5:30Arabi's words about the Mahdi, the
- 5:33Mahdi finds that Sheikh Ibn Arabi seems
- 5:36to be talking about him personally,
- 5:39describing his own state. This will
- 5:43make the Mahdi pause frequently and
- 5:46ponder deeply over the Sheikh's words,
- 5:48wondering how this could be. At first,
- 5:52he will tell himself it happened by
- 5:54coincidence. Many other people
- 5:57experience this as well. Then, as he
- 6:01continues his search and listens to the
- 6:04Sheikh's words, he becomes astonished
- 6:06and amazed. For whenever he hears the
- 6:08Sheikh’s words, he finds them
- 6:10applicable to what is happening to him.
- 6:13It describes his conditions, as if the
- 6:15Sheikh knew him and knew everything he
- 6:17feels or what happens to him. This is a
- 6:21very strange thing. It could only
- 6:24happen if Sheikh Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi
- 6:27was commanded to write these words.
- 6:31Then Ibn Arabi says afterwards: "The
- 6:34full moon of his secret is imprisoned
- 6:36within the will of his aura." Meaning
- 6:40that whenever the Mahdi hears the
- 6:42description of his state, Sheikh Ibn
- 6:44Arabi is describing it to him in his
- 6:46words and poems. For all the Sheikh's
- 6:50words and poems apply to him, his
- 6:52conditions, and what happens to him.
- 6:55Thus, he finds the full moon of his
- 6:57secret. His secret here is that he is
- 7:00the Mahdi, that he is the true Mahdi,
- 7:04yet he does not know it. Whenever he
- 7:08hears the Sheikh’s words talking
- 7:11about him and his states, and
- 7:13describing what happens to him, this
- 7:16secret will illuminate before him and
- 7:19appear like a full moon. The picture
- 7:23becomes clearer and clearer to him. His
- 7:26secret becomes clear to him, the secret
- 7:29that he is the true Mahdi. But at this
- 7:32time, this full moon of his secret,
- 7:35which he confirms whenever he hears the
- 7:39Sheikh's words, will be imprisoned in
- 7:42the will of his aura. Meaning it will
- 7:47be within his luminous aura that exists
- 7:49within him and surrounds him only.
- 7:53Meaning this secret will be imprisoned
- 7:57within his luminous aura, which
- 8:00surrounds him alone. Which is a strong,
- 8:05luminous will that loves God. It helps
- 8:10him imprison this great secret that he
- 8:13is the true Mahdi. Until God Almighty
- 8:17grants permission for this secret to be
- 8:20revealed and relieved through the
- 8:22manifest appearance. Meaning that this
- 8:26luminous aura has a strong will. It
- 8:31will make the Mahdi keep this secret,
- 8:33which he confirms day after day through
- 8:36the knowers of God and Sheikh Muhyiddin
- 8:39Ibn Arabi. Because all their words
- 8:43apply to him, his states, what is going
- 8:45on inside him, and what he feels. For
- 8:49they are talking about him and
- 8:51describing him. Therefore, Sheikh Ibn
- 8:56Arabi says that this luminous aura
- 8:59within the Mahdi, which surrounds him,
- 9:03will have a strong will for this secret
- 9:07to be imprisoned within it. Meaning it
- 9:12keeps it so he does not reveal it until
- 9:15God Almighty grants permission. Then
- 9:20after that, Sheikh Ibn Arabi says: "And
- 9:23he became aware of what was hidden
- 9:25within him, and I highlighted for him a
- 9:28glimpse of its meanings." Meaning that
- 9:33when the Mahdi, peace be upon him,
- 9:35hears the words and poems of Ibn Arabi,
- 9:38he will become aware of what was hidden
- 9:41within him, which exists in these words
- 9:44he hears from Sheikh Ibn Arabi. For
- 9:49Sheikh Ibn Arabi's words reveal to him
- 9:51what was hidden within him and what is
- 9:53inside him with all. Clarity, and
- 9:56clarifies it for him. Because the
- 9:58speech is talking about him. So the
- 10:01Mahdi will take notice of it. And he
- 10:03will be surprised by these words. He
- 10:06will truly be astonished and amazed by
- 10:08these words. Because he will find that
- 10:12Ibn Arabi wrote these words as if
- 10:13specifically for him. He speaks about
- 10:17him and his states. And what happens to
- 10:20him. And what he feels. This is
- 10:23something strange that has never
- 10:25happened before. That is why Ibn Arabi
- 10:28says: "And I highlighted to him a
- 10:31glimpse of its meanings." The word "
- 10:34highlighted" was used here by Sheikh
- 10:37Ibn Arabi. It is an indication that the
- 10:40meanings of the Sheikh's words will be
- 10:42clear and obvious to the Mahdi, peace
- 10:45be upon him. Regarding what is hidden
- 10:47within him and what he finds inside
- 10:49himself. Therefore, only the Mahdi will
- 10:53extract from the Sheikh's words these
- 10:56true meanings intended by the Sheikh.
- 11:00The Sheikh is talking about the true
- 11:02Mahdi, his states, and what happens to
- 11:05him. Then Ibn Arabi says afterwards: "
- 11:09And I saw him listening to me with all
- 11:12his being." This is strange talk from
- 11:16the Sheikh. The Sheikh is speaking
- 11:19about having seen the Mahdi listening
- 11:22to his words and paying full attention.
- 11:26This indicates that Sheikh Ibn Arabi
- 11:29knows the Mahdi well. God Almighty
- 11:33revealed his character to him in the
- 11:35vision, and he saw him. He knows his
- 11:39appearance, descriptions, character,
- 11:41and states. Therefore, when the Mahdi
- 11:45heard the words of Sheikh Ibn Arabi, he
- 11:48listened with all his being. He was
- 11:51overcome by amazement, wonder,
- 11:53astonishment, and confusion at what he
- 11:56was hearing. What is this Sheikh saying
- 11:58? Does this Sheikh know me? Does this
- 12:02Sheikh read what is inside me and what
- 12:05I feel? How did he know these states of
- 12:09mine and what is happening to me? He
- 12:12did not belong to this era. Rather, God
- 12:15took his soul hundreds of years ago.
- 12:17That is why the Mahdi listened to the
- 12:20Sheikh's words with his whole being.
- 12:23Then Sheikh Ibn Arabi says afterwards:
- 12:26"And he departed from observing his own
- 12:29self." Meaning that whenever the Mahdi
- 12:33heard the Sheikh's words speaking about
- 12:35his states, qualities, what happens to
- 12:38him, and what he feels. He departs from
- 12:42observing his own self. Meaning he
- 12:46forgets himself and ponders the
- 12:48Sheikh's words and what he says about
- 12:51him. For the Sheikh tells him that you
- 12:55are the true Mahdi. This is a very
- 12:58serious matter and is not to be taken
- 13:00lightly. The Mahdi is not an ordinary
- 13:04person. He is a servant of God Almighty
- 13:07, whom He loves, and He will make him
- 13:09rule the whole world. So the matter is
- 13:12not easy or simple. Therefore,
- 13:15reflecting on the Sheikh's words takes
- 13:18the Mahdi to the point of forgetting
- 13:20himself. The Sheikh revealed to him
- 13:24secrets and things existing within him.
- 13:27They made him confused about his
- 13:29situation and doubt himself as being
- 13:32the true Mahdi. The matter is huge,
- 13:35dangerous, and not insignificant. The
- 13:38personality of the Mahdi is one that
- 13:40will change the entire Earth. So it
- 13:43made the Mahdi confused and skeptical
- 13:46about his situation. But the Mahdi is a
- 13:49rational person with a strong
- 13:52personality. He is a wise believer. He
- 13:56does not act like those people who
- 13:58delude themselves into thinking they
- 14:00are the Mahdi. Therefore, this is my
- 14:03advice to everyone who doubts
- 14:06themselves as being the Mahdi. The true
- 14:09Mahdi is a rational person. His
- 14:13personality is strong, and he is a
- 14:15believer in God and insightful. His
- 14:18intelligence always prevails over him.
- 14:22Therefore, even if he were to be
- 14:24certain that he is the true Mahdi. He
- 14:27would never disclose that secret or
- 14:30that matter to anyone. Even if they
- 14:34were the closest of people to him. And
- 14:37this is not my own speech, but the
- 14:40speech of the knowers of God. For they
- 14:42have directed signs to the true Mahdi
- 14:45regarding that. To not disclose it to
- 14:48anyone, even if they were the closest
- 14:51of the close. To him, until God
- 14:53Almighty decrees a matter that was to
- 14:56be done; and that is also out of
- 14:59concern for his life, because the case
- 15:02of the Mahdi is a very dangerous issue,
- 15:06and we all know that, for his enemies
- 15:09are very numerous, and they are the
- 15:12ones controlling the Earth now. Like
- 15:15Iblis, the Dajjal, and their cohorts.
- 15:18And his soldiers of kings, rulers,
- 15:20presidents, and princes. And we all
- 15:23know that. The matter is not easy. Or
- 15:27simple. Or trivial. Therefore, the
- 15:30Mahdi. The true one will not disclose.
- 15:33Because God Almighty is the one who
- 15:36will pave the way for him. And He,
- 15:39Almighty, is the one who will prepare
- 15:43him for that matter. And empower him on
- 15:46earth. His emergence and appearance
- 15:49will be by divine command. The matter
- 15:52is very great and serious. And not
- 15:55simple, trivial, or easy. As those who
- 15:58delude themselves into thinking they
- 16:00are the Mahdi believe. The matter is a
- 16:03radical change in the entire earth. The
- 16:06earth will change 180 degrees. From
- 16:09evil to good. From injustice to justice
- 16:12. The topic is great and serious. I
- 16:15hope everyone who thinks, or believes
- 16:18they are the Mahdi, reflects on these
- 16:21words of mine. Let us return to the
- 16:25words of Sheikh Ibn Arabi. Then Sheikh
- 16:28Ibn Arabi continues and says: I turned
- 16:31my face toward him. He was annihilated
- 16:36in what I presented to him, thirsty for
- 16:40more of what I recited, and asked me
- 16:44for more. Here Sheikh Ibn Arabi says:
- 16:48that in this vision of mine of the
- 16:52Mahdi, he turned his face toward me and
- 16:56looked at me. While he heard his words,
- 17:00he found him annihilated in this speech
- 17:02. These poems that the Sheikh recited,
- 17:06which speak of him, he found in them
- 17:09the truth of his states, what happens
- 17:11to him, what he feels, what goes on
- 17:14inside him, and what he thinks about as
- 17:16well. He found this speech and these
- 17:20poems. Speaking about him and intending
- 17:24him, so the words were directed at him
- 17:26and applied to him in all the poems and
- 17:29prose that the Sheikh wrote. Thus, the
- 17:33Mahdi became thirsty for more of what
- 17:36the Sheikh recited of poems and words
- 17:38to know more and more until his
- 17:41confusion about his situation was
- 17:43removed, so he asked. That is why the
- 17:47Sheikh says "he asked me for more,"
- 17:50meaning the Imam Mahdi sought more by
- 17:52searching and investigating further
- 17:55into the poems and words of the Sheikh
- 17:58that speak about the Mahdi, so that he
- 18:00might know more and more. My brothers
- 18:05in God, this statement from Sheikh
- 18:07Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi indicates that the
- 18:10Sheikh was commanded by God Almighty.
- 18:14To direct signs, indicators, and words
- 18:17from poems and prose to the Mahdi, in
- 18:20this period of the Mahdi's life that he
- 18:22will live before the night of his
- 18:25reform. And this is to ease the matter
- 18:28for him, and lighten what is happening.
- 18:32To him and what he feels, and to
- 18:34reassure his heart and gladden his
- 18:37heart, and that is also because the
- 18:39Mahdi in this period, as the knowers of
- 18:42God have mentioned, will not have
- 18:45revelations, visions, or sightings. He
- 18:49is veiled from that during this period.
- 18:53And this is a wisdom from God Almighty.
- 18:57To teach him and preserve him. And also
- 19:00so that he may search and investigate
- 19:02in the books of the knowers of God. And
- 19:05learn. About himself. And doubt himself
- 19:08through them. Until the night of his
- 19:11reform comes. For God Almighty to
- 19:14confirm to him in it that he is the
- 19:17true Mahdi. So this doubt of his
- 19:20becomes certain knowledge. For the
- 19:23grace of God. Almighty upon the Imam
- 19:25Mahdi is great and immense, for He is
- 19:28the one who preserves him, cares for
- 19:31him, teaches him, disciplines him, and
- 19:34qualifies him for the succession of the
- 19:37earth and for this great mission, which
- 19:40God has set for His loving, truthful,
- 19:43sincere, and loyal servant to God.
