7:31it's not the will of God that you get

7:38stay isolated
7:41the most stable people in all of the
7:44world
7:46are those who are connected to a church
7:49not just a church
7:51the church
7:52the Church of the Living God the one
7:55that carries the name of God Jesus
7:59praise the Lord the Bible says that all

8:06loans from the manifestation of the sons
8:08of God
8:11I believe that that's happening in the
8:13church the world is looking for us not
8:17to just be in the church not to just
8:20come to church but to actually be
8:24a living expression

8:30I feel something right here I'm just
8:32going to tell you a little bit more
8:34so that word church is the word Ecclesia
8:37in the Greek and it was used it was
8:39taken from Roman culture
8:42and that word
8:45was a governing body
8:50what they said went

8:57God is Raising you and I up in this hour
9:00in this nation in this community in this
9:04city in this area to bind things to
9:08loose things to say that's not going to
9:11fly around here say that's good that's

9:20he saved you to raise you up and to pray
9:23cast out demons to heal the sick to

23:38to go to the word of the Lord anybody

23:43first Samuel chapter 8 and verse 4 first
23:47Samuel the eighth chapter and the fourth
23:50verse
23:52first Samuel chapter 8.
23:55and verse 4.
23:58for your consideration for
24:01a few minutes this evening
24:07Samuel chapter 8 and verse 4 says that
24:10then all the Elders of Israel
24:14gathered themselves together
24:17and came to Samuel
24:20under Rhema
24:22we're going to read through verse 10.
24:25and said unto him behold Thou Art old
24:30and thy Sons walk not in thy ways
24:34now make us a king to judge us
24:39like all the nations
24:43but the thing displeased Samuel when
24:46they said give us a king to judge us and
24:49Samuel prayed unto the Lord
24:53and the Lord said unto Samuel hearken
24:56unto the voice of the people
24:58in all that they say unto thee
25:01for they have not rejected thee
25:04but they have rejected me
25:07that I should not Reign Over them
25:12according to all the works which thy
25:14have done
25:16since the day that thou that
25:19I brought them out of Egypt even unto
25:23this day
25:24wherewith they have forsaken me and have
25:26served other gods
25:29so do they also unto thee I want you to
25:32watch this right here
25:35I want you to watch this back up one

25:40he basically says this is not an
25:43isolated issue
25:48they've been doing this to me
25:52ever since
25:55I brought them out of Egypt
25:58they have continually wanted to serve
26:01other gods
26:03and so the it's not that it's not a
26:07problem what they're doing to you
26:10it's that that's just one of the
26:12symptoms
26:15there's a bigger issue
26:19so hearken unto him
26:21under their voices verse 9.
26:25now therefore hearken under their voice
26:27how be it
26:28protest solemnly unto them
26:32and show them the manner of King that
26:34shall reign over them here's here's What
26:36God Says
26:38and the older I've gotten and I'm going
26:40to let you be seated momentarily but the
26:41older I've gotten
26:43the more I refuse to tell people what to
26:46do
26:51I give advice
26:55and if Rebellion
26:58are hard-headedness
27:05are
27:07whatever you want to call it
27:10strong will
27:12clouds the minds of the people I'm
27:16counseling to listen
27:20then I'm going to do what just what
27:22Jesus said
27:24I'm not going I'm not going to override
27:26them and tell them what to do I'm going
27:27to protest
27:29solemnly
27:31show them what's going to happen
27:35if they do what they want to do
27:38but then you've got to turn them loose
27:40to be free moral agents
27:45verse 10.
27:47and Samuel told all the words of the
27:49Lord and of the people
27:51that ask him of a king
27:55he said that this is how it's going to
27:57be
27:59I'm telling you what's going to happen
28:01to you
28:03this king's going to take your he's
28:06going to take your choice Vineyards
28:08he's going to take your choice Fields
28:10he's going to take your sons to work in
28:13the Army and he's going to take your
28:14daughters
28:16to work in his Palace
28:19and he's going to leave you
28:22with nothing
28:24I want to preach to you for a few
28:26minutes or teach or whatever you want to
28:28call this
28:30I want to I want to
28:34teach from this
28:36subject
28:38human eyes
28:41only see men

29:34I now want to go back to
29:37a verse that I read from
29:41Sunday
29:46last Sunday
29:49or Sunday before last
29:53the book of The Book of Romans chapter
29:5713.
29:58verse 1.
30:00I want us to look at Romans 13 and 1 one
30:03more time
30:05Romans chapter 13. we're going to read
30:09several verses here
30:12they are important verses
30:16and I I was amazed at
30:21um
30:22some of the things you said as you led
30:24the service tonight brother Henry they
30:25were
30:26on in the
30:29spirit
30:33I have been working out some and and
30:36obviously
30:38it's showing if y'all turn around and
30:40look at the back screen
30:42you'll find that not exercising working
30:45out has been really paying off
30:51it might be my low voice
31:03I thought God had worked a miracle that
31:05grown hair
31:11listen let me tell you something when I
31:14when I say things
31:17that kind of draw attention to those
31:19people that run those computers back
31:21there I got to stop just a minute and
31:23tell you thank y'all for all you do
31:32sound men and media people are sound
31:35people and media people are easy targets
31:39because I'm going to tell you what they
31:40do is very very very difficult
31:43and I want to thank each and every one
31:45of you for your labor for your effort
31:48thank you for what you do on those
31:50computers and on those screens because
31:52it is a blessing not only to those of us
31:55that preach but to those of us who
31:56listen so thank you so much for that and
31:59I deeply deeply appreciate your labor of
32:02love back there and I we respect you for
32:04what you do so when something funny like
32:07that happens I'm not trying to embarrass
32:09you please understand that we love you
32:11very much
32:13um
32:14and any of you that ever are sitting
32:18here and you think man I sure wish I had
32:20a position I sure wish I had something
32:22to do I don't know why it's always got
32:25to be
32:27preach
32:33I mean the the I promise you the chief
32:36gets nervous if everybody else wants to
32:39be the chief
32:40he's going to get hung somewhere strung
32:42up
32:45somebody
32:47has got to be willing to be something
32:49else
32:50there are there are areas that's needed
32:55all in this building
32:57our our new people that are coming in
33:00many of them come in with families and
33:02children the only way they can hear the
33:04word of God like they need to hear the
33:06word of God is for us to have a nursery
33:09to help them with their children while
33:11they're getting rooted and grounded
33:15but we don't have a lot of volunteers
33:17for that department
33:20so when people say
33:22oh I just wish I knew what I could do to
33:25help out what they really mean is I wish
33:26I had my time in the Limelight
33:33I wish I could be up there in front of
33:35everybody
33:41because I'm telling you we desperately
33:43need people doing Outreach on Saturdays
33:48we desperately need people helping run
33:51those media and computers and all that
33:52back there and we desperately need help
33:55in nurseries and things of that nature
33:57so there are plenty of places for you to
34:00exercise
34:02gifts talents and abilities if you
34:05really mean you want to exercise all
34:07that stuff
34:10if you really mean you want to be a help
34:12and blessing in the kingdom of God and
34:13I'm going to tell you that's the best
34:15way to get to the top the best way
34:17to be used in the in Pulpit Ministry
34:21is to start teaching a Bible study
34:26the best way to be used in the kingdom
34:28of God
34:30you start somewhere else
34:33and God will see your faithfulness
34:38and greatly Advance you
34:40he'll greatly Advance you so Romans 13
34:45beginning with verse 1 we're going to
34:47read several verses says let every soul
34:49be subject unto the higher powers
34:53for there is no power but of God
34:59the powers that be are ordained of God
35:05whosoever therefore resisteth the power
35:09resist the ordinance of God
35:12and they that resist shall receive to
35:15themselves damnation
35:18now I'm telling you
35:20what Paul is is laying down to the
35:24church at Rome
35:25is the fact that there is no true or
35:30real power on Earth
35:32that was not given and ordained by God
35:37what that means
35:40is that the president of the United
35:42States
35:46God ordained that position
35:49if he didn't it would not have stood
35:53any power that is propped up that God
35:56did not give power will fall it will not
35:59continue to stand
36:02if Powers exist and continue
36:05they were ordained of God that does not
36:08mean the person that feels that position
36:13at that particular moment
36:16is righteous
36:19it means that that position was ordained
36:22of God
36:24allowed it to be
36:27God somewhere put his stamp of approval
36:30on it
36:34I read in your hearing where God said
36:37we're going to give them a king
36:42and I'm gonna I'm gonna stamp my
36:44approval on it
36:50but that does not mean the person that's
36:52going to feel the position is going to
36:54be righteous
36:57now this this is this is an amazing
36:59thing first of all I want to tell you if
37:02God ever tells you yes against his will
37:07you're in trouble
37:12if God ever agrees with you but he don't
37:14want to
37:18I had that happen a few times in my life
37:22and I learned to tremble when my dad
37:24told me no and told me no and then
37:26finally said hey you know what just go
37:27do what you want to do
37:34when I got his approval
37:36but he really didn't want to give it bad
37:39stuff was about to happen
37:47and
37:50God says
37:52that all the all the powers that be that
37:56exist on Earth
37:59God gave them that Authority
38:02now one man said this and I I want to
38:05bring this into this teaching right now
38:06because I think it's important I think
38:09people think
38:12that
38:14if you can holler good you can go Pastor
38:17a church
38:24if you can if you can get that right
38:26tone
38:27and you can get that right Cadence
38:30and the Lord God did the power of the
38:33Holy Ghost and if you can do that well
38:36then
38:39man you're in
38:42you can evangelize whole revivals preach
38:46Services get you a tent
38:53but I promise you I promise you that Don
38:57Knotts proved to the world
39:01that a uniform and a gun don't make a
39:03police officer
39:14here's here's what one wise man said one
39:17wise man said if you're leading
39:19and no one is following you
39:22then you're just out for a walk
39:36uh you you've got to hear what I'm
39:39saying here when I tell you that if you
39:41put up a sign
39:43and you start a church or you start a
39:45Ministry
39:48the power and the authority has got to
39:51come from God
39:55if it doesn't
39:59and I've said this over and over and
40:00over it disturbs me
40:02for someone to go to a city
40:05and Pastor 15 people for 35 years and it
40:09never dawned on them that something's
40:11wrong
40:18something
40:21how long does it take for it to Dawn on
40:24you
40:26I might be outside my calling
40:32I might need to reconsider
40:35what's going on here
40:38besides for 30 years saying nobody in
40:41this town wants the gospel well then go
40:43do something different
40:51is somewhere a smart person
40:55some were a smart person says the same
40:58thing
41:02that
41:04I can't remember his name right now I
41:06think his name was Eubanks
41:09that climbed that tree to punch that
41:11out and got up there and it was a
41:13wildcat
41:16and after fighting for a little while he
41:18had enough sense to say hey shoot just
41:20shoot up in here amongst us one of us
41:21has got to have some relief
41:28you know after you've done something for
41:31so many years unsuccessfully
41:34when do you decide
41:37mirror this town one of us has got to
41:40have some relief
41:47because there's a bunch of people in
41:49that town that need the gospel and if
41:51you're not supplying it to them
41:54let somebody come in that matches and
41:57Supply them with the gospel
41:59[Applause]
42:09listen Authority
42:14all of you
42:16all of you have said under a school
42:18teacher that tries to take authority and
42:20the kids just laugh
42:24and you finally say something in Gin in
42:28here
42:31you you need to run a dry cleaners
42:37or maybe you would maybe you would be an
42:40excellent golf pro
42:43but if you can't gain the respect of the
42:45kids
42:47then
42:50you're taking or trying to assume power
42:52that's not god-given
42:56ESS
43:03am I communicating with you all tonight
43:07it's it's nothing against you
43:12it's just the way it is
43:17no I tell you I
43:20I feel like I've walked way out on a
43:22limb and it's
43:24just about to break off out from under
43:26me
43:30but this needs to be discussed and it
43:32needs to be talked about
43:36because
43:37Authority can't just be taken
43:41and I'm going to tell you Authority
43:43can't be learned in a book
43:45and Authority can't be learned in a
43:48school room
43:49you can't go to a Master Class to learn
43:51Authority you can learn all kind of
43:54little tricks and Leadership skills and
43:56all that kind of stuff but you can't
43:57learn authority authority is either
44:00granted by God
44:04or it will not last
44:10only get you a microphone and get behind
44:13that big green face and pretend that
44:16you're
44:18The Wizard of Oz
44:20for a little while
44:22but sooner or later later
44:24Toto is going to come around the screen
44:31sooner or later you gotta you gotta find
44:33out who you are
44:39I I pray that I'm making sense to you
44:41tonight
44:44and Paul says this this isn't just in
44:47the church
44:51this is in every area this is in every
44:54region
44:55that Authority is granted by God to some
44:59people
45:04and if God don't Grant it
45:07you can't get it any other way
45:11it's go it's sooner or later it's going
45:13to have to come to you that I'm not
45:16called to that position so therefore
45:20I must find what I'm supposed to be
45:23doing
45:26but that's not it
45:29because I don't have that Authority I'm
45:32I'm leading and and nobody's nobody's
45:37following me
45:40or the ones that are following me are
45:43not following me for the proper
45:45reason
45:49there's another reason why they're
45:50following me
45:53there's always going to be there's
45:57always going to be a rebellious group of
45:59people
46:00that won't follow real Authority because
46:02they have a rebellion issue
46:07and if someone will start a church and
46:09put up a sign
46:11and start preaching
46:15and let them have a position
46:18that someone with real Authority won't
46:20let them have because they know they
46:21don't belong there
46:23then they'll go and follow that guy just
46:26because they get a position
46:32but one day all that's going to crumble
46:35in
46:37it's not going to last because it's not
46:39built on the right foundation
46:42and that's why you don't want to build a
46:44church taken
46:46all the rebellious people that can't go
46:48to a real Church
46:53[Applause]
47:04you can't do that you've got to stand on
47:08the principles of righteousness
47:13and demand righteousness
47:17demand righteousness and demand purity
47:21and demand purity of heart and righteous
47:23living
47:25and biblical obedience
47:28and rebellious people will not stay
47:32under that
47:35because they they have this desire to be
47:38to be something and be somebody
47:41and so they'll leave a church where they
47:44they've got to climb the ladder
47:48of submission
47:53and so you have these guys out there
47:55that says come to my church I'll make
47:58you the assistant pastor the assistant
47:59pastor of what
48:02they have three people
48:10they have five people why do they need
48:12an assistant pastor I I have pastored
48:15this church for almost 25 years
48:19and never had an assistant pastor
48:22I've had pastoral helps
48:30but you you got these little little
48:32churches that pop up and they got 10
48:35people coming there
48:41and they they know how to sense
48:44a guy in a church
48:46that's discouraged
48:51because he wants a position
48:55in the church he goes to is too big to
48:57have a position and so he's got sour
48:59grapes for the pastor because the pastor
49:01won't advancing
49:04let me let me tell you first of all only
49:06God can advance you anyway
49:12because the powers that be are ordained
49:15of God
49:22and sometimes the reason that that
49:24Pastor won't advance him is because he's
49:26pastored them long enough to know
49:30what's really in their life and really
49:32in their world
49:35they'd go to a guy that don't know
49:40because he ran into him at Walmart
49:44and said pray for me I've been looking
49:46for an assistant
49:50here I am
49:54in Walmart can you believe it it's got
49:56to be God
50:00I mean besides that man we're in the
50:03Crisco section and I feel the power
50:15you you can build a group
50:21you can build a group
50:23on people that can't coexist in a real
50:26Church
50:27but you can't build a church on people
50:29that can't coexist in a wheelchair
50:36there's a reason why
50:39they go to a church that preaches the
50:41gospel and the doctrine the power and
50:43the authority
50:47but for some reason they can't be there
50:54you better find out what that reason is
51:01before you turn power over to them
51:09I I pray to God I'm making sense here
51:12tonight
51:17now whosoever therefore resists the
51:20power
51:21resist the ordinance of God
51:24this is this is why
51:27I'm very careful and listen there are
51:30always times
51:32there are always
51:34I say always that's too strong of a word
51:36back that word out that's not the word I
51:38needed to use there are occasions
51:43for Rebellion against misused power
51:51there are occasions
51:54for Rebellion against misused power
52:00but it's always got to be the Ace in the
52:02Hole
52:06it's always got to be your last resort
52:13here's the deal
52:16and and
52:18it's my this is my nervousness with
52:21proper use to gifts of the Spirit
52:25because gifts of the Spirit
52:28are not the normal fare for every
52:30service
52:36they're a
52:38they're an Ace in the Hole
52:41they're the cherry on top of the cake
52:44what we're doing right now is church
52:48that's Church
52:54Jesus Jesus didn't
52:58Jesus didn't show up on hillsides and
53:01heal everybody
53:06that's what upset them
53:09he healed Bartimaeus on a street that
53:12was according to history was filled with
53:14with people that had ailments
53:17he picked one out and healed him
53:22he taught in boats he taught on the
53:24hillside he he he he his
53:29he came to seek and to save
53:33them that were lost
53:36and as they added benefit
53:43he healed and he worked miracles
53:46that was not the main focus
53:48what good would he have done to heal the
53:51bunch of people so they could run faster
53:53to hail
54:00he healed a guy so he can be a
54:03quarterback of an NFL team
54:08his his goal was not to heal and set
54:11free and deliver his goal was to seek
54:13and to save them that were lost and
54:16along the way
54:18he healed some people to get the tension
54:21of the crowds
54:27I pray I pray I'm making it making sense
54:30to you
54:32because I'm telling you if we come to
54:34church and the main thrust
54:37of church
54:40is gifts of the Spirit
54:43it won't be long and they won't work
54:45anymore
54:49why is that because
54:53they're too common
54:55it's happened so much it don't even
54:57Delight anybody anymore
54:59you just
55:01yawn and talk while get while tongue's
55:03interpretation are going forth why
55:05because they I grew up here in tongues
55:07interpretation every service there's
55:09eight or ten of them every service
55:13foreign
55:15that's why Paul said limit it
55:18limited for power
55:21and influence
55:23let me just tell you something no one
55:25would get excited about a diamond
55:29if they were gravel
55:40the the charismatic world
55:43the charismatic World using gifts of the
55:46Spirit as their main thrust have created
55:49a nation
55:50that really don't believe in him anymore
55:57they really truly believe that every
56:00religious person is a charlatan
56:05that's what they've created
56:07because they made the sides show the
56:10main event
56:14they mean what what should have been
56:15rare the main focus
56:19the beauty is in its Rarity
56:23read that Bible from cover to cover let
56:27me just tell you this can I just tell
56:28you this right quick
56:29if you if you you had 66 books and God
56:33was talking all the way oh no judges
56:36drowned drone and on and every page God
56:39talking talking and God saying
56:42it'd be pretty soon you wouldn't even
56:44care to hear the voice of God
56:47you know why they stood at attention and
56:49thrilled when God spoke because he
56:51hardly ever said anything
56:57home
57:02I don't mean to be unkind
57:07I do not mean to be unkind
57:10but I have been leading people in God's
57:14service
57:16for 25 years and I've been in the
57:17ministry over 30.
57:22and I'm going to tell y'all I have
57:24rarely heard the voice of God
57:27and it makes me nervous people that hear
57:30it all the time because he don't talk
57:33that much
57:35if you're hearing God all the time I get
57:38a clue that you don't know the
57:40difference between God and your human
57:42spirit
57:45and I'm not trying to be unkind I'm
57:47trying to be real with you
57:49I'm trying to teach you and lead you and
57:52tell you God don't talk that much
57:58because if he did it wouldn't thrill you
58:01anymore
58:08God is God not your next door neighbor
58:14God is God not your
58:18he's your running buddy
58:21he's not going to demean himself
58:25because it it cheats You Out of Heaven
58:28you're a God
58:33am I making sense to anybody here am I
58:36making sense to you
58:42some of y'all just walk and talk and you
58:44hear from you oh yeah God yeah I go oh

58:48you know the problem with that is you
58:50lose your respect
58:52let me tell you something when the when
58:54the men in the Bible heard from God they
58:57fell down before him as one that was
58:59dead and could not get up
59:10this is this is why as a pastor that
59:12wants to lead people I'm very very
59:14careful of spending too much time with
59:16you
59:18yes sir
59:20all you that brother Copeland come by
59:22and drink coffee let's sit down and just
59:24man I just want to sit down sometime
59:26with you and just visit well first of
59:28all I'm not trying to be unkind but if I
59:30tried to do that if I tried to keep that
59:32even and do that with everybody in this
59:33church
59:36I'd be so full of coffee and my back
59:39would hurt from rocking all the time in
59:41your rocking chair
59:44I couldn't sleep
59:46I couldn't eat
59:49I can't just rare back and visit and
59:52talk with 500 people
59:57and the truth the matter is if I did
59:59what you wanted
1:00:00I would cheat you out of a pastor
1:00:04because it wouldn't be long and you
1:00:05wouldn't respect me and you wouldn't
1:00:07honor what I had to say because I would
1:00:09have demeaned myself to become your
1:00:12running buddy
1:00:13I'm sorry I love you but if I fish with
1:00:17you it may be once in 10 years
1:00:22come on
1:00:25you don't like to fish I I probably
1:00:28would love it if I had time to do it
1:00:32but but
1:00:35I pray that you understand what I'm
1:00:37saying to you
1:00:42there is an authority
1:00:45and a power
1:00:52that it is is held
1:00:56and it's held in Rarity
1:01:03you know there's a reason why that you
1:01:07you got to make an appointment to see
1:01:09the Hope Diamond
1:01:14man if they if they put the Hope Diamond
1:01:17out in the
1:01:18out in the middle of Washington DC on a
1:01:21square where anybody could just go up
1:01:22and see it anytime they wanted to
1:01:27in five years
1:01:30nobody would even go look at it anymore
1:01:37y'all been to Washington DC yet did you
1:01:39go see a hope that no I didn't make it
1:01:41over there I didn't make it over to see
1:01:43it you know why they line up to see it
1:01:46because they can't get in to see it
1:01:57boy I I I feel like I'm I feel like I'm
1:02:00struggling to communicate with you I I
1:02:02feel like you're not buying into what
1:02:04I'm saying here
1:02:08God barely spoke in the Bible when you
1:02:11take the 66 books and you take the time
1:02:14that he spoke
1:02:18I don't know what the percentages are
1:02:20but it's small
1:02:28because I'm I'm telling you when he
1:02:31when he whispered the whole world leaned
1:02:34in
1:02:37because that's what happens when someone
1:02:38don't say much

1:02:47God also spoke in very short statements
1:02:53what is truth
1:02:59end of the statement
1:03:01just one what is truth
1:03:08that's why I'm I'm very careful
1:03:11I'm very I get dubious of
1:03:14interpretations that last too long
1:03:17because God don't talk that much
1:03:24you know they get Beyond two or three
1:03:26sentences and I I say to myself I've
1:03:28been raised in Pentecost all my life
1:03:34I've heard hundreds of tongues of
1:03:36interpretation
1:03:39most the time you can write them down on
1:03:42one little bitty piece of paper
1:03:44when they go on and on and on and
1:03:47somebody's messed up somewhere because
1:03:49God just don't talk that much
1:03:54he don't need to
1:03:58because he can create the world
1:04:02in three state in three words
1:04:06let there be
1:04:14he don't have to talk and talk and talk
1:04:16and talk and talk
1:04:21he can create universes in one sentence
1:04:26he don't have to talk that much
1:04:30he can totally defend who he is is god
1:04:33with one question what what is truth
1:04:39and anyone that knew Authority or
1:04:41understood Authority if it was lost on
1:04:43any of them that listened
1:04:47it meant something was wrong inside of
1:04:50them
1:04:52because pilate's own life
1:04:55knew what truth was
1:04:57Jesus Christ standing in front of me
1:05:00right now that's what truth is
1:05:08Rarity
1:05:13the the Rarity of it is what makes it
1:05:16powerful
1:05:17it's what makes it precious
1:05:19it's what makes it special
1:05:26we have a we have a nation
1:05:30we have a nation that is over sexualized
1:05:35we have a we have a nation it's a
1:05:37phenomenon it's talked about not talked
1:05:39about but we have college age boys
1:05:45that need the the sexual AIDs that was
1:05:48available
1:05:50to retired men 30 years ago
1:05:56because nudity
1:05:58was supposed to have been rare
1:06:02it was supposed to have been precious
1:06:06it was supposed to be something that was
1:06:08only revealed
1:06:11in the bedroom time of a married couple
1:06:15it was not to be put on display
1:06:22I mean when I when a man finally got to
1:06:25disrobe his spouse in the beauty
1:06:28of their bedroom
1:06:32and no one had ever seen anything but
1:06:35her face her hands and her feet
1:06:37and he gets the privilege
1:06:40of looking upon her beauty
1:06:45divorce was one percent
1:06:49go check it
1:06:51they didn't divorce they stayed together
1:06:54you know why he didn't have anybody to
1:06:55compare to
1:07:00he didn't have anybody to compare it to
1:07:04then she was everything
1:07:06because who was he who was he going to
1:07:08compare it to he had never seen anything
1:07:10like this before it's the most wonderful
1:07:12thing in the world
1:07:13that's the way God designed it and the
1:07:15Rarity of it
1:07:17was the beauty of it
1:07:22and now men have got to have something
1:07:24other
1:07:26than their lifelong spouse
1:07:30because nudity is put on display
1:07:34everywhere all the time and it has
1:07:37completely lost
1:07:40it's loveliness and its beauty
1:07:47because God designed it
1:07:49to be so rare
1:07:52and so wonderful
1:07:54and so beautiful
1:07:58and anytime something is put
1:08:01on public display as a spectacle it is
1:08:05dumbed down and ripped away
1:08:09of its importance and its attractiveness
1:08:11that's why the miracles of god are not
1:08:14to be put on publicly display
1:08:17foreign
1:08:19to put them on public display
1:08:22is no different than parading a woman
1:08:24around here stripped to her nakedness
1:08:27it's the same thing that they did to
1:08:28Christ that's why they disrobed him
1:08:31when they nailed him to the Cross to put
1:08:34him to the Bible says to make him a
1:08:36public spectacle
1:08:38and put him to an open shame
1:08:41and that's what the charismatic world
1:08:43has done with the miracles of god
1:08:44they've put them on display and put them
1:08:47to open shame people don't believe in
1:08:49miracles more now because of the
1:08:51charismatic movement they believe in
1:08:53miracles less
1:08:58they think everyone's a charlatan
1:09:01that's not what it was meant for it was
1:09:04meant for Rarity and beauty and when it
1:09:07happened wow
1:09:10when God speaks wow the entire crowd
1:09:14touches and
1:09:16but when these things are misused
1:09:21they lose Authority
1:09:29whosoever resists the power of God
1:09:31resist the ordinance of God now this is
1:09:34why and man I've got to hurry it's 8 40.
1:09:36I'm
1:09:38I'm losing time
1:09:42Rebellion Rebellion for misused
1:09:46Authority
1:09:49has to be the Ace in the whole
1:09:52you understand that Moses resisted
1:09:56Abraham and Moses resisted the authority
1:10:00of Kings
1:10:02rarely
1:10:06two things Moses did rarely
1:10:10and that's used that staff as a serpent
1:10:14rarely
1:10:17I mean why didn't he throw that thing
1:10:19down a bunch of more times I mean when
1:10:21he threw it down it would turn into a
1:10:23serpent yeah
1:10:27yeah why don't you just keep doing that
1:10:36yeah am I making sense to y'all
1:10:38after he saw that that worked
1:10:43why don't you do that several other
1:10:44times
1:10:49I mean when when Miriam
1:10:52and Aaron
1:10:54came against him why didn't he just say
1:10:57I'm going to stick my snake on you
1:11:11the reason why
1:11:13is because he knows
1:11:16sometimes it may be necessary to handle
1:11:18a snake
1:11:20but you get you get to handle in a snake
1:11:22when it's not necessary and eventually
1:11:24it's going to bite you
1:11:28all right yes sir
1:11:33eventually you're going to die by that
1:11:35thing
1:11:45all right this is why I I said during
1:11:48covet if we can
1:11:51we need to do everything we can to keep
1:11:54from rebelling against our government
1:12:00there may be a time that we have to
1:12:05but let's be pushed into it
1:12:10man let's don't start a war at the first
1:12:12opportunity

1:12:20but let's make sure we have no other
1:12:23choice
1:12:24foreign
1:12:27because if we start this war too early
1:12:30we're going to be fighting until Jesus

1:12:37we got a decade of fighting ahead of us
1:12:41what if we put that thing off and not

1:14:29honor and vessels of Dishonor
1:14:31but if you take it into your own hands
1:14:34then who am I to touch it
1:14:40man listen I pray that I'm communicating
1:14:43with you tonight you know why because we
1:14:45live we live in a a nation now that is
1:14:48bent on Rebellion
1:14:50they are bent on nobody's going to tell
1:14:53me what to do I'm going to be and let me
1:14:55tell you something at Pine Grove
1:14:56Pentecost church I will take authority
1:14:57over no one
1:14:59if I'm going to be your leader and I'm
1:15:01going to be your spiritual leader it's
1:15:02going to be because you yield yourself
1:15:04into my authority not because I usurp it
1:15:07over you
1:15:12but I'm just telling you right now no
1:15:14one's gonna be saved
1:15:16without it
1:15:20no one is going to be saved without
1:15:22spiritual submission
1:15:24no one's going to be saved unless they
1:15:26find a man of God that they believe it
1:15:28has God's Authority and then they submit
1:15:31themselves to that man to lead them
1:15:38and they are willing
1:15:40they willingly to submit to that
1:15:44god-given Authority
1:15:47now I I titled this tonight
1:15:51I titled this tonight human eyes
1:15:55only see men
1:15:59because that's exactly what God was
1:16:02saying
1:16:04that's exactly what God was saying to
1:16:06Samuel
1:16:07he said you know what's wrong with my
1:16:09people they're on they aren't they only
1:16:11see you
1:16:14they don't see me behind you
1:16:18putting my full approval on your
1:16:20Authority
1:16:22so when they reject you
1:16:25they're really rejecting me because the
1:16:28power that you have is coming from me

1:16:38church when we only see whoever's
1:16:41leading

1:16:47carnality when all we can see is the
1:16:49person that's leading

1:16:53eyes you do not have spiritual eyesight
1:16:55if you had spiritual eyesight you
1:16:57wouldn't just see the leader you would
1:16:59see God standing behind that leader

1:17:11in that power trickles down

1:17:20all power the Bible says is ordained of
1:17:23God
1:17:24so if I have God
1:17:27backing me
1:17:30if God is with me

1:20:45how it would have been said in modern
1:20:46day English
1:20:48who Do You Think You Are
1:20:51to resist Moses Authority
1:20:57don't you understand his authority comes
1:21:00from me
1:21:03I'm the one that gave him Authority
1:21:07he may be your little brother
1:21:10when he was growing up at home
1:21:13but today he's the one that led you out
1:21:16of Egypt
1:21:21and when God said who do you think you
1:21:24are to resist
1:21:26the authority of Moses Miriam looked
1:21:29down and she had become leprous
1:21:36and boy when she became leprous Aaron
1:21:38said to himself
1:21:41I'm next
1:21:43I wonder what I'm gonna get
1:21:46and he began to beg Moses Moses Moses
1:21:49you know the amazing thing is the
1:21:53the very
1:21:54the very conversation was we can hear
1:21:57from God we can talk to God on our own
1:21:59we don't need you
1:22:01that was the very conversation that they
1:22:04were in
1:22:06it's Moses we're your older brother and
1:22:09sister if we need to talk to God we'll
1:22:10talk to God for ourselves isn't that the
1:22:12spirit of the day we don't need a pastor
1:22:14we don't need a leader God talks
1:22:15directly to me
1:22:18I don't need a pastor to hear from God I
1:22:20can hear from God for myself
1:22:21I talk to God all the time God talks to
1:22:24me all the time how you doing there bud
1:22:25I drink coffee with him every morning
1:22:27man we're Pals
1:22:31if you really think you have that kind
1:22:32of relationship with God that's not the
1:22:35kind of God God's the kind of God that
1:22:37booms in your world
1:22:41God's the kind of God that when he
1:22:43really talks to you you don't want to
1:22:45drink your coffee you want to go on a
1:22:47seven day fast
1:22:51when God really speaks to you you can't
1:22:53eat your scrambled eggs
1:22:59no I'm I'm trying to be honest with you
1:23:02here and you need to be honest with
1:23:03yourselves
1:23:05if the god that created the planet and
1:23:08the Stars you know what you've got
1:23:10you've got tomb into too much that

1:23:53common that goes on between humans when
1:23:56God talks to you he's going to probably
1:23:58tell you something that's going to so
1:24:01change your world you won't even walk
1:24:03the same I'm gonna tell you when you
1:24:04have an encounter with God you limp
1:24:07after that encounter everything about
1:24:09you is different you can't walk the way
1:24:12you used to walk you can't talk the way
1:24:14you used to talk
1:24:18when God talks to you you probably won't
1:24:21want to hear what he had to say
1:24:29he's not going to tell people that's
1:24:30carnaling not praying and living in sin
1:24:34go buy that red Dodge
1:24:39care what kind of car you drive to hell
1:24:42you know what he's probably going to
1:24:44tell you you need to repent
1:24:47for the king of a God is at hand repent
1:24:49of your wickedness he's not worried
1:24:52about your car when you're lost
1:25:07so you're telling me I'm going to hell
1:25:08let me tell you something the prophet
1:25:10Isaiah
1:25:13came in contact with an angel from God's
1:25:16throne and you know what his response
1:25:18was
1:25:19oh my God I'm a man of unclean lips
1:25:24he was the prophet
1:25:28I'm a man of unclean lips
1:25:31when you have an encounter with God you
1:25:34will always see your ungodliness
1:25:40you will always see how far from him you
1:25:43are
1:25:45as I said I'm a man of unclean lips
1:25:49he has he begged the angel take a coal
1:25:52off the Altar and put it to my lips into
1:25:54my tongue and purify my mouth

1:26:02David had an encounter with God a real
1:26:05genuine encounter with God you know what
1:26:07he said
1:26:08created me a clean heart oh God
1:26:11but you were right Spirit Within Me
1:26:16and John the Revelator
1:26:21who was righteous enough with God

1:26:28to be banished to an island because he
1:26:31would not deny his name
1:26:33and would not deny his gospel
1:26:36and on that island God shows up to him
1:26:40and he says I fell
1:26:42on my face before him as one that was
1:26:44dead
1:26:48and today we've got a group of
1:26:50apostolics
1:26:51that don't pray like they should don't
1:26:53love God like they should probably would
1:26:56not be banished to an island for not
1:26:58denying his name because they'd figure
1:26:59out a way
1:27:02to keep their American lifestyle
1:27:05you say well I don't believe that boy
1:27:07you have trouble coming to church every
1:27:09service because of your lifestyle
1:27:13you can't be real faithful to the house
1:27:15of God because it's too trying on you
1:27:20if you can't adjust your schedule
1:27:23to be faithful of the house of God then
1:27:25how are you going to be banished to an
1:27:27island for his name's sake
1:27:33and you know you and God y'all pardon us
1:27:35no it's because you've never had a
1:27:37genuine encounter
1:27:41because a genuine encounter with God
1:27:43will drive you to your face
1:27:46a genuine encounter with God will turn
1:27:48your stomach to the point that you can't
1:27:50eat
1:27:53it will change you
1:27:55because it's so rare
1:27:57and it's so powerful
1:28:00that anyone in that Bible that ever had
1:28:02a genuine Empower power encounter with
1:28:05god with the Almighty either walk with a
1:28:08limp
1:28:10or their name was changed
1:28:13they didn't even answer to the same name
1:28:15anymore
1:28:18but we have a charismatic world that is
1:28:20so dumbed God down to your buddy
1:28:24and your friend and your pal
1:28:31that we talked to about God like he's
1:28:33our neighbor Bob
1:28:40am I making sense to anybody in this
1:28:42house tonight
1:28:44God Is So authoritative
1:28:47he is so powerful
1:28:49that when anyone really has an encounter
1:28:51with him they come Acro that way so
1:28:54different that they have to wear a cover
1:28:56over their face and people say what is
1:28:58it about you where have you been what
1:29:01you come out of a real prayer meeting
1:29:03with God and your whole family look at
1:29:06you different
1:29:10I want us to lift our hands just a

1:31:45when I teach

1:31:49it is not to eradicate the gifts of the
1:31:52Spirit
1:31:53tongues and interpretation
1:31:55healings miracles
1:31:58but to add
1:31:59importance and sanctity back to it
1:32:09it needs to be operational in the church
1:32:12but needs to be operational right
1:32:18you got to remember that when God spoke
1:32:20whether it was Old Testament or new
1:32:22testament in that Bible people died
1:32:26people were raised from the dead
1:32:29great miraculous things happened
1:32:32when God showed up
1:32:36I'm telling you I want gifts the spirit
1:32:38I want operation of the Holy Ghost
1:32:41to operate in this church
1:32:43but I want it to be so right that
1:32:46there's no doubt I want it to be so
1:32:48right that you tremble
1:32:49that you shake when God speaks
1:32:55that it is so right that there is no
1:32:57doubt left all doubt is eradicated and
1:32:59the power and the authority
1:33:02the authority
1:33:05when it happens
1:33:07there's an authority to it
1:33:17I didn't get finished tonight but I'm
1:33:19going to quit
1:33:21because you can only take so much and
1:33:23you can only take in so much
1:33:26if you think tonight that I've come to
1:33:28make fun of anybody hearing from God
1:33:31hearing the voice of God operating
1:33:34that's not the purpose
1:33:38I'm here to bring such
1:33:42anointing
1:33:46and such discernment
1:33:51that we can discern the difference
1:33:53between our human spirit
1:33:55and the voice of God
1:33:57because carnality don't know the
1:33:59difference and that's how people get
1:34:00messed up if they don't have proper
1:34:02Authority in their lives
1:34:04there's a litmus test to know
1:34:08when God's speaking
1:34:10the first one is does it line up with
1:34:12his word and the second one does it line
1:34:14up with the Spiritual Authority that
1:34:17I've submitted myself to in
1:34:19in my life
1:34:26and when we view the things of God in
1:34:29humanity we only see men
1:34:36but when we view the things of God
1:34:40through spiritual eyes
1:34:42we see the authority that stands behind
1:34:44those men
1:34:55it disturbs me
1:34:58it disturbs me when I hear that
1:35:00whether it's really Cardwell or brother
1:35:02craft or Ryan brister whoever's leading
1:35:04these young people
1:35:06when I hear that Rebellion comes out of
1:35:08the young people toward them
1:35:13because very rarely does that of
1:35:16rebellion originate with them
1:35:20it originated in parents that said
1:35:23something or did something that let them
1:35:24know that they don't have to respect
1:35:26that figure
1:35:37but when you're full of the Holy Ghost
1:35:38You Don't See
1:35:41the youth pastor
1:35:44you see the youth pastor and behind the
1:35:46youth pastor you see the the pastor
1:35:49and behind that Pastor you see the
1:35:52almighty God that organized that
1:35:53Authority
1:35:55and you say whether he's right or wrong
1:35:57you got to do what he says you and
1:36:01what if he's wrong you get on your knees
1:36:04and pray and God to take care of it
1:36:07God can take care of it so fast if that
1:36:10man's wrong he won't be the youth pastor
1:36:11at the beginning of the next month
1:36:15but I'll tell you this this much it'll
1:36:17it'll put such Authority in your kids
1:36:19that they'll even respect you better
1:36:24because kids when respect is broken
1:36:27don't don't just lose respect in one
1:36:29Authority they lose a little bit of
1:36:30respect in all authority figures
1:36:37I'm not making sense to you here tonight
1:36:41and the same is true in every sense of
1:36:44the word
1:36:47ever since the word and I could go on
1:36:49tonight and I'm not going to because I
1:36:51feel like I've taught
1:36:53enough that you got enough to go home
1:36:55and chew on
1:36:57but I want you to listen to me again
1:37:00if you leave here tonight and say well

1:37:03don't think I hear from God brother
1:37:04Copeland don't thank God uh that I'm
1:37:07used in the gifts where the couple don't
1:37:09think this or that you couldn't be
1:37:11further from the truth
1:37:15I'm telling you that you do hear from
1:37:17God I'm telling you God does speak to
1:37:20people I'm telling you that God speaks
1:37:22through people in this church and
1:37:24tongues interpretation in this church
1:37:25are real
1:37:26but I'm telling you if you don't have
1:37:28the proper view of authority and real
1:37:32spiritual discernment does not work in
1:37:35your life
1:37:36the your human Spirit can sound so much
1:37:39like the voice of God
1:37:43your human Spirit knows how to mimic God
1:37:48and the reason it does is because we
1:37:50like to do what we want to do
1:37:54and our human Spirit can literally trick
1:37:56us into believing we're hearing from God
1:38:00if we don't have spiritual discernment
1:38:02that's why fasting
1:38:04and submission is so important
1:38:09I'm telling you Authority can only work
1:38:11in the spirit of submission
1:38:20those two boys was a benedav and a by
1:38:23Hume am I saying it right saying their
1:38:25names right
1:38:26we like to talk about the Strange Fire

1:40:07seek the Lord over it
1:40:09and ask God God what do you want me to
1:40:12retrieve out of that what do you want me
1:40:13to get out of that because I'm going to
1:40:14tell you this I preached tonight the
1:40:17heart or taught the hardest thing that
1:40:19you can teach in any church in modern
1:40:21America
1:40:24well why would you teach like that
1:40:26because I'm trying to do more than get a
1:40:29crowd
1:40:31I'm trying to see the people that I
1:40:33Pastor make it all the way to Glory
1:40:42I'm not here to publish public numbers
1:40:46I'm not here to say we got the biggest
1:40:47crowd in town I'm here to make sure
1:40:50we're operating under god-given proper
1:40:53Authority

1:43:23you know every every time somebody
1:43:24thinks of something they think God's
1:43:26speaking
1:43:28there's a balance are you listening to
1:43:31me that's what I'm telling you there's a
1:43:32spiritual balance
1:43:35that we need to know
1:43:40again I'm not trying to do away with it
1:43:42I'm trying to purify it you know we had
1:43:44to do this same thing with holy ghost in
1:43:46filling
1:43:49we'll do the same thing
1:43:51because in some of the revivals in the
1:43:5370s we had preachers telling people you
1:43:56got the Holy Ghost you got the Holy
1:43:58Ghost you received the Holy Ghost you
1:43:59received the Holy Ghost tonight
1:44:02as it turned out later there was hosts
1:44:04of people that said I never spoke in
1:44:06tongues I I never I've never spoken
1:44:08tongues in my life but a preacher told
1:44:10me I got the Holy Ghost
1:44:13and we had to do the same thing with
1:44:15that we had to back up and say hang on
1:44:16just a minute
1:44:18people need to identify that they've
1:44:21received the Holy Ghost themselves they
1:44:22need to tell us they received the Holy
1:44:24Ghost we don't need to tell them
1:44:29we're declarified to make sure it was an
1:44:31act of God
1:44:36I'm doing the hardest thing I've ever
1:44:37done as a pastor because I what I don't
1:44:40want the result of this to be is that
1:44:42tongues interpretation don't go out in
1:44:44this church anymore
1:44:47what I don't want is the result of no
1:44:49one laying hands on anybody expecting a
1:44:51miracle what I don't want
1:44:55is you get a word from God and you won't
1:44:57bring it to me because you think I won't
1:44:58receive it
1:45:03what I'm telling you is we need to pray
1:45:05for spiritual discernment
1:45:07and we need to ask God to give us
1:45:10spiritual vision where we don't just see
1:45:12men
1:45:14but we see God
1:45:17we see God
1:45:19Beyond Earthly things we see and have
1:45:22Vision in the spirit and spiritual
1:45:24discernment
1:45:25would you lift your hands right now in
1:45:27closing and ask God to give spiritual
1:45:30discernment to every person in this
1:45:32house
1:45:33God In The Name of Jesus and through the
1:45:34power of the Holy Ghost
1:45:37I'm asking you to baptize ever Holy
1:45:40Ghost spill believer in this house with
1:45:41spiritual discernment
1:45:43I'm asking you to put discernment in
1:45:46every heart ever mind every Spirit God
1:45:49what we want more than anything is to be
1:45:51right we want tongues we want
1:45:53interpretation we want gifts to the
1:45:55spirit we want Miracles we want signs
1:45:58and wonders but we want it to be real
1:46:00and we want it to be right and I'm
1:46:02asking you in the name of Jesus to
1:46:04baptize us with it I'm asking you to
1:46:07baptize people in this house with gifts
1:46:10of the Spirit tongues and interpretation
1:46:12I'm asking you to give them the gift of
1:46:14tongues give them the gift of
1:46:16interpretation give them the word of
1:46:18knowledge in the word of Prophecy God we
1:46:21needed operating in this church but we
1:46:23need the spiritual discernment that
1:46:25purifies it and distills it to where
1:46:28every time it goes forth It Goes Forth
1:46:31with power and Purity and authority and
1:46:34righteousness would you lift your hands

1:47:01as classrooms we've built a new workout
1:47:04room on the back of the gym and that new
1:47:07workout room floor and and we we're
1:47:11putting a professional workout floor in
1:47:13there
1:47:14we're putting
1:47:15gonna re-mirror the walls again please
1:47:19help us control the environment in there
1:47:22don't turn kids loose in there and
1:47:25man we had broken mirrors and broken
1:47:27stuff and all kind of crazy stuff last
1:47:31time please you that use that workout
1:47:33room respect it protect it
1:47:36and uh man you gotta workout room you
1:47:40don't even have to pay to use and we get
1:47:42we got professional equipment and all
1:47:44that so please honor that but tomorrow
1:47:47night after family prayer instead of
1:47:49having teaching that one night
1:47:52we need to go out there and move the
1:47:54workout equipment I mean we need men
1:47:56helping us get that
1:47:59heavy workout equipment put back in that
1:48:02workout room so we'll do that tomorrow
1:48:04night rather than uh teaching after
1:48:07prayer so please come to prayer and then
1:48:09those of you that will help us it will
1:48:11shouldn't take the 15 or 20 minutes
1:48:13maybe 30 minutes at the most we'll go
1:48:15out there and get that workout room put
1:48:17back together thank you so much for that
