- 0:00Want to gank like a pro? Watch this
- 0:02video. Number one, don't gank in the
- 0:05beginning if there's a possibility that
- 0:06the enemy will invade your jungler,
- 0:08especially if they're an assassin
- 0:10jungler, as assassin junglers are more
- 0:12vulnerable in the early and can get
- 0:14invaded easier than if they were a tank
- 0:16jungler like Frederren.
- 0:18So instead of ganking, stay closer to
- 0:20your jungler until they're around level
- 0:22four. You should zone for your jungler
- 0:25when there are enemy heroes like Fanny,
- 0:28Frederren, Hilda, Hanzo, Uranus, or
- 0:31Franco who can invade. Number two, when
- 0:34you're rotating, make sure you stay
- 0:36hidden on the map because we know what
- 0:38happens when the marksman or fighter
- 0:40sees you coming. They will play safer
- 0:42under their turret. Don't go past enemy
- 0:45minions or near the enemy turret's range
- 0:47on your way to ganking. because if you
- 0:49walk near the enemy turret, where you're
- 0:51able to see the turret's range, the
- 0:53enemy can see you on the map.
- 0:58Furthermore, do not be too obvious about
- 1:01where you're going to gank by making
- 1:02sure the enemy roam and mid aren't
- 1:04following you or providing vision on
- 1:06you. At times, they could even be
- 1:08camping in a bush without you knowing
- 1:10and vision on you. And the way to not be
- 1:13spotted by them while you're rotating is
- 1:15to use one of these gank paths. Number
- 1:18three, avoid this specific type of bush.
- 1:21Whether it's top lane or bottom lane
- 1:23when you gank, very often the enemy roam
- 1:25camps in that bush if he's not seen on
- 1:27the map in order to provide vision for
- 1:29the enemy marksman. So if you do know
- 1:32where the enemies are on the map, you're
- 1:34allowed to enter that bush. But if not,
- 1:37it's better to go the other gank path
- 1:39where you stay more hidden. and camping
- 1:41in the correct bush very often makes
- 1:42your gank successful, unless they're a
- 1:44Leslie and are once in a while pressing
- 1:46their ultimate button to make sure no
- 1:48one is near the radar.
- 1:50Number four, trick the enemy you want to
- 1:52gank by pretending you're going to gank
- 1:54the other lane instead of them before
- 1:57the last minion dies. When you clear
- 1:59minion waves with the mage at mid lane,
- 2:02act like you're going to rotate to the
- 2:03exp lane by walking towards that lane.
- 2:06And right when the minion dies, which
- 2:08means the minion will no longer show you
- 2:10on the map, you turn around and head
- 2:12straight to gank gold lane. This is a
- 2:15trick for an enemy who pays a lot of
- 2:17attention to the map.
- 2:20Also, when you sometimes accidentally
- 2:22get visioned by the litho wanderer, you
- 2:24should walk towards the opposite side of
- 2:25the lane you wish to gank until it no
- 2:27longer shows you on the map, and then
- 2:29you can try again. Most players will
- 2:32think you're not headed to them after
- 2:34you're exposed on the map because you're
- 2:36going back, but it's of course all just
- 2:38an act.
- 2:40Number five, what you can do if the
- 2:42enemy is playing too safe under the
- 2:44turret. Ideally, you should gank gold
- 2:47lane, but if the enemy seems to be
- 2:49playing too safe under the turret, then
- 2:51there's no point in rotating there, and
- 2:53instead you can try to gank exp lane.
- 2:57A successful gank doesn't mean that the
- 2:59enemy has to be killed. If you manage to
- 3:02make their HP lower, you're giving your
- 3:04ally a better chance to win his lane
- 3:07because then the enemy has to either
- 3:08recall or take risks by remaining on
- 3:10their lane. However, if you do have
- 3:13jungler and mage with you to gold lane,
- 3:16you can perhaps overextend and turret
- 3:17dive, but you need to watch out for
- 3:19other enemies that may potentially show
- 3:21up as well.
- 3:24Number six, no need to always assist the
- 3:26jungler at turtle. When turtle is about
- 3:29to spawn, don't gank any lanes or
- 3:32babysit your gold laner unless your team
- 3:34can take the turtle on their own. An
- 3:37example is if your jungler is reliable
- 3:39and isn't low HP with retribution ready
- 3:42and the enemy jungler is dead, you don't
- 3:44really have to zone. If your other
- 3:46allies are at turtle as well, that way
- 3:49you can quicker rotate and gank the gold
- 3:51laner where they mostly won't expect you
- 3:53to come.
- 3:55Number seven, don't overstay on gold
- 3:57lane or exp lane. If you try to gank,
- 4:01but it seems unlikely the enemy will
- 4:03leave the turret while you're camping in
- 4:04a bush, just go back and continue to
- 4:07provide vision and focus on other
- 4:08objectives such as turtle or perhaps
- 4:11pressure mid turret. It's very unlikely
- 4:14that they'll go away from the turret
- 4:15because maybe their allies warned them
- 4:17that you'll be coming and you'll just be
- 4:19wasting your
