7 Disturbing Videos Captured on Ring/Doorbell Cameras — Transcript

Full transcript

1. 0:01It's been a long year [music] since I've
2. 0:02done a Ring cameras video and as it
3. 0:04turns out people are still creeps and a
4. 0:06lot of new videos have surfaced. So,
5. 0:08let's look at some of them.
6. 0:10This first video is a very real and
7. 0:12grizzly reminder that danger can be
8. 0:14following you anywhere at any time, even
9. 0:17to your front door and it can be a
10. 0:19lesson, especially for women, to be
11. 0:21alert of your surroundings, especially
12. 0:23before opening your front door.
13. 1:18As you just saw, a mother holding her
14. 1:20infant daughter unknowingly leads a man
15. 1:22to her front door and was mere seconds
16. 1:25away from him getting inside.
17. 1:27As the man approaches the driveway, you
18. 1:29can see him pulling up the mask over his
19. 1:31face to conceal his identity, clearly
20. 1:33with premeditated intentions.
21. 1:36As the man walks up the driveway, the
22. 1:38daughter takes notice to him as the
23. 1:40mother is still completely oblivious to
24. 1:41the approaching threat.
25. 1:43Luckily, she makes it inside and shuts
26. 1:45the door in time.
27. 1:47She only realized what had just happened
28. 1:49after looking through the terrifying
29. 1:50Ring footage.
30. 1:52The woman made a report to the police as
31. 1:54soon as she saw the footage and what the
32. 1:56police said was disturbing.
33. 1:58There had been a series of reports of a
34. 2:00brutal and violent rapist in the area
35. 2:02who had been targeting women and
36. 2:03children.
37. 2:05It's suspected that he and this man were
38. 2:07the same person.
39. 2:08No sane person leaves their house with a
40. 2:10full face mask such as this one if
41. 2:12they're not knowingly about to commit a
42. 2:13serious crime and want to conceal their
43. 2:15identity.
44. 2:16The woman in the video just may have
45. 2:18saved her and her child's life just by
46. 2:20the skin of her teeth.
47. 2:23If you're not convinced of just how
48. 2:24often this kind of thing happens, here's
49. 2:26a similar video. A young college-age
50. 2:29looking girl is coming home, letting
51. 2:31herself into her house.
52. 2:33Not even 5 seconds after she enters the
53. 2:35home, two large men step on the porch
54. 2:37and the one in front immediately tries
55. 2:39to open the door.
56. 3:36Some people think the men looked
57. 3:37genuinely confused and may have had the
58. 3:39wrong house. However, the short window
59. 3:41of time between the girl entering the
60. 3:43house and the men stepping on the porch
61. 3:45would have definitely allowed them to
62. 3:46see the girl. You'd think anyone [music]
63. 3:48who just tries to open the door to a
64. 3:50house surely must know they have the
65. 3:51right house or at the very least know
66. 3:54who lives in the house.
67. 3:56It could also be argued that when the
68. 3:57man turns to his friend behind him, he's
69. 3:59making mention of the camera and so he
70. 4:01pretends to think he has the right house
71. 4:03by sticking around and knocking despite
72. 4:05the obvious screams from the girl inside
73. 4:07as she notices the men at the door.
74. 4:09It seems they only run off after the
75. 4:11girl starts screaming, "We're calling
76. 4:12the police."
77. 4:17So, unlike the first video, there's no
78. 4:19100% proof of whether these guys had bad
79. 4:21intentions or not.
80. 4:23Whether they were trying to grab the
81. 4:24girl or if they genuinely had the wrong
82. 4:26house is up for debate as there's no
83. 4:28further info on this video.
84. 4:31If it is the second one, still
85. 4:32everything about the men's actions was
86. 4:34sketchy.
87. 4:36In this video, on the other hand,
88. 4:37[music] what's going on couldn't be more
89. 4:39clear.
90. 4:40In the early morning hours on October
91. 4:4216th in Kent, Washington, a couple seen
92. 4:45returning home.
93. 4:46The husband is seen unlocking the door
94. 4:48and seconds later, as the man's wife
95. 4:50follows behind, she turns her head to a
96. 4:52gun-wielding suspect chasing behind her.
97. 5:01She acts quickly and runs inside locking
98. 5:03the front door.
99. 5:04The suspect then spots the Ring camera
100. 5:06and hits it repeatedly with his gun,
101. 5:08effectively breaking the device.
102. 5:18It's at this time that you can notice a
103. 5:19second man there as well.
104. 5:24The couple spent their night at a casino
105. 5:26and for this reason, the wife believes
106. 5:28the two men followed them home from the
107. 5:29casino hoping to rob them of any of
108. 5:31their winnings. Fortunately, they made
109. 5:33it inside safely.
110. 5:35The suspect with the gun was identified
111. 5:37by police as 18-year-old Al Hussein
112. 5:39Drammeh and he was arrested on October
113. 5:4126th. He faced multiple charges
114. 5:44including burglary in the first degree
115. 5:46and he pleaded not guilty to all of
116. 5:48them.
117. 5:50With this fourth video, we move to
118. 5:51something a little more paranormal. This
119. 5:54was caught on a TikToker named Nolan
120. 5:56Brox's indoor Ring security camera while
121. 5:58he was sleeping on the couch.
122. 6:00At 1:39 in the morning, he's awoken to
123. 6:03the pantry doors opening and some kind
124. 6:04of cracks or bangs coming from either
125. 6:06inside the pantry or from the doors
126. 6:08themselves.
127. 6:24With the fan running, the thought of it
128. 6:25being a draft wasn't out of the question
129. 6:28per se.
130. 6:29He ignored it and tried to go back to
131. 6:31sleep, but 4 minutes later at 1:43, this
132. 6:34happens.
133. 6:47One of the doors is aggressively yanked
134. 6:49shut.
135. 6:52And this officially removes any
136. 6:54possibility of a draft being the cause
137. 6:55of the doors moving. It's safe to assume
138. 6:58he slept in his bed the rest of the
139. 6:59night.
140. 7:02This next video also comes from inside
141. 7:04of a house instead of the front porch
142. 7:06and this one can play on one of the
143. 7:08biggest fears of [music] a lot of people
144. 7:10and that is someone lurking around your
145. 7:12house as you sleep.
146. 7:14In Wichita, Kansas, a family's Ring
147. 7:17cameras captured some terrifying video
148. 7:19footage of a stranger standing directly
149. 7:21over sleeping 15-year-old [music] Aniah
150. 7:23Robinson at around 2:30 a.m. on a Friday
151. 7:26night.
152. 7:27This was the footage captured.
153. 7:42Aniah said once she opened her eyes, she
154. 7:45felt like she was in a scene from a
155. 7:46horror movie, seeing somebody sitting
156. 7:48over her watching her that she didn't
157. 7:50know.
158. 7:51Aniah rushed to her mother Angel's room
159. 7:53screaming, "There's somebody in the
160. 7:54house." And after being jolted awake,
161. 7:57Angel made sure her 2-year-old daughter
162. 7:59and Aniah were safe in her room before
163. 8:01calling the police.
164. 8:03Wichita police responded quickly, but
165. 8:05the intruder was already gone.
166. 8:07It's likely the boy entered the house
167. 8:09simply through the front door.
168. 8:15Luckily, the Ring cameras clearly caught
169. 8:17his face and using this footage, the
170. 8:19police acted on a tip and were able to
171. 8:22arrest a 14-year-old boy whose name was
172. 8:24not released.
173. 8:25The boy faced aggravated burglary and
174. 8:27theft charges.
175. 8:30In November 2021, a woman reported on
176. 8:33Twitter that a creepy-looking man had
177. 8:35been standing outside of her apartment
178. 8:37almost every night for an entire month.
179. 8:39She included a few of the videos caught
180. 8:41by her Ring camera and it shows the man
181. 8:43creepily standing there for extended
182. 8:45periods of time facing her door.
183. 8:54At certain points, he can be heard
184. 8:55speaking.
185. 9:02But what he says is impossible to hear.
186. 9:05The woman resorted to posting this on
187. 9:06Twitter after her complaints to the
188. 9:08police apparently fell on deaf ears.
189. 9:21It was a few days after her initial post
190. 9:23that she posted an update stating that
191. 9:25her friends and family confronted the
192. 9:26man which seemingly got him to stop.
193. 9:29Additionally, the post going viral
194. 9:31prompted her building security to do an
195. 9:32additional routine throughout the night.
196. 9:35I can't seem to find her Twitter profile
197. 9:36anymore, so there don't appear to be any
198. 9:38updates on the matter.
199. 9:42And in this last video, an El Paso
200. 9:44resident's Ring camera catches what
201. 9:46appears at first to be a woman in danger
202. 9:48seeking help at their front door in the
203. 9:50middle of the night, but this may be a
204. 9:52much more sinister situation than that.
205. 9:58Oh no.
206. 10:11At first, the woman appears to be in
207. 10:13distress, possibly on the run from
208. 10:14someone, crying and pleading for help.
209. 10:17But, things start getting suspicious
210. 10:19when she hides anytime a car is
211. 10:21approaching.
212. 10:56Is she hiding from a specific person
213. 10:58chasing after her? Or is she perhaps
214. 11:00trying to not be seen from any
215. 11:01passersby?
216. 11:40After the neighbor's driveway light
217. 11:41turns on, a car's headlights approach
218. 11:43from the right, and she's seen casually
219. 11:45walking away, presumably to get in that
220. 11:47unseen car, perhaps because her driver
221. 11:50was growing paranoid that too much
222. 11:51attention was being drawn, so they
223. 11:53[snorts] needed to leave.
224. 12:02Now, you can say that's just a
225. 12:03far-fetched theory of mine, but a month
226. 12:06later, El Paso police arrested a woman
227. 12:08who was charged with burglary of
228. 12:10habitation.
229. 12:11That woman was Krista Nicole Cordeau.
230. 12:15The woman in the video looks identical
231. 12:17to the woman [music] in this mugshot.
232. 12:19The charge this woman faced is defined
233. 12:21as the act of entering any building
234. 12:23illegally with the plan to do something
235. 12:24serious, such as harming the owner,
236. 12:27damaging property, or stealing.
237. 12:29Suddenly, the prospect that this woman
238. 12:31could have been trying to trick an
239. 12:32unsuspecting person into opening their
240. 12:33door doesn't seem so far-fetched.
241. 12:36As always, keep your doors locked and be
242. 12:38careful who you open them to.
