  1. 0:00Most people install Hermes agent and
  2. 0:02then ask it random questions. That is
  3. 0:05not how I would do it. If I wanted
  4. 0:08Hermes to pay for itself, I would treat
  5. 0:10[snorts] it like a junior operator, not
  6. 0:12some magic money printer. Not some
  7. 0:15trading bot that secretly makes me rich
  8. 0:18while I sleep. A junior operator that
  9. 0:21can research, monitor, draft, remind,
  10. 0:25summarize, and help you move faster. So,
  11. 0:28in this video, I'm going to show you the
  12. 0:30five ways I would actually try to make
  13. 0:33money with Hermes agent. Let's get
  14. 0:35started. The internet is full of make
  15. 0:39money with AI videos, and I've made a
  16. 0:42ton of them as well. But, most of them
  17. 0:45are either too vague or
  18. 0:48just a little bit fake. They tell you to
  19. 0:51start an AI agency, to sell prompts, to
  20. 0:54build a bot, to automate the business,
  21. 0:57and somehow money magically appears.
  22. 1:00But, that is not how most of this works.
  23. 1:03Hermes does not remove the need for a
  24. 1:06real offer, for your business to have a
  25. 1:09real offer. It does not remove the need
  26. 1:11for you to figure out distribution. It
  27. 1:14does not remove the need for you to talk
  28. 1:17to customers.
  29. 1:18What it can do is remove a lot of the
  30. 1:20repetitive operator work
  31. 1:23that happens in the background around a
  32. 1:25real opportunity.
  33. 1:27That is the frame that I'm going to be
  34. 1:30taking around this video. I'm not going
  35. 1:33to give you five fantasy businesses. I'm
  36. 1:35going to give you five workflows where
  37. 1:38Hermes can create real leverage around
  38. 1:40something people already pay for.
  39. 1:44The first way I would make money with
  40. 1:46Hermes is lead generation and outreach.
  41. 1:50In fact, which is one of the first ways
  42. 1:52we started deploying Hermes
  43. 1:55uh over at Unfungible.
  44. 1:58This is the most boring one I know,
  45. 2:00which usually means it's typically the
  46. 2:03most real one. Every business needs more
  47. 2:06customers.
  48. 2:07Agencies need leads, consultants need
  49. 2:10leads, B2B founders need leads,
  50. 2:13freelancers even need leads. The problem
  51. 2:16is that lead generation is a very
  52. 2:19extremely repetitive task. You have to
  53. 2:22find accounts, qualify them, understand
  54. 2:25what they do, find the relevant angle,
  55. 2:28write a message, follow up constantly,
  56. 2:31and track the replies across all.
  57. 2:34Hermes is useful here because it can act
  58. 2:36like a research assistant and a
  59. 2:38follow-up operator, not as a spam
  60. 2:42machine to go ahead and send millions of
  61. 2:45messages, and that distinction matters.
  62. 2:47The bad version
  63. 2:49would be you telling Hermes, "Send a
  64. 2:52thousand generic AI emails." The good
  65. 2:54version is, "Find 50 companies that
  66. 2:58match this profile." This profile being
  67. 3:01your ICP, your ideal customer profile.
  68. 3:04"Explain why each one might need this
  69. 3:07offer, draft a specific first message,
  70. 3:10and log everything in a sheet or
  71. 3:13Notion." Okay, so this would be the
  72. 3:16first prompt that I would give it. "Find
  73. 3:1825 B2B companies in crypto, SaaS, or
  74. 3:21creator tools that look like they could
  75. 3:23benefit from a short-form content
  76. 3:25system." Here, make sure that you put
  77. 3:28your industry or your service or offer
  78. 3:32instead. "For each one, capture the
  79. 3:34company name, website, what they sell,
  80. 3:37why they might need content, and one
  81. 3:39personalized outreach angle. Do not send
  82. 3:43anything, put the research into a table,
  83. 3:46and draft three message variants for
  84. 3:49review." That last part is important. Do
  85. 3:53not send anything automatically. Let
  86. 3:56Hermes research and draft. You review
  87. 3:59and you send. That is a real service
  88. 4:03workflow. If I were starting from zero,
  89. 4:07I would sell this as a done-for-you
  90. 4:09prospecting system for agencies and for
  91. 4:12founders. The offer is not AI outreach.
  92. 4:15The offer is I will build you a weekly
  93. 4:18pipeline of qualified leads with custom
  94. 4:21opening angles. That is much easier to
  95. 4:24sell. You always want to sell the
  96. 4:26outcome.
  97. 4:27Never the method of deployment. Your
  98. 4:31customer doesn't care how it gets done.
  99. 4:33They care that it gets done. Let's move
  100. 4:35on to number two.
  101. 4:37The second way is content research.
  102. 4:41This is one I actually also happen to
  103. 4:44use constantly.
  104. 4:45Creators and founders do not just need
  105. 4:48more content. They need better angles.
  106. 4:51They need to know what is working, what
  107. 4:53competitors are doing, what titles are
  108. 4:56breaking out, what keywords are rising,
  109. 4:58and what topic is worth filming before
  110. 5:02everyone else copies it.
  111. 5:04Hermes is perfect for this because
  112. 5:06research is not just one task when you
  113. 5:09break it down and think about it.
  114. 5:11Research is an entire loop that repeats
  115. 5:15every single time. I mean, you have
  116. 5:17check competitors,
  117. 5:18check YouTube, check X, check keywords,
  118. 5:23check comments. Turn all of that
  119. 5:25information into a brief, then repeat
  120. 5:28every single day. And this is the second
  121. 5:32prompt right here. Act as my YouTube
  122. 5:35research operator. Find 10 recent videos
  123. 5:39in the AI agent niche that are
  124. 5:41outperforming their channel average. For
  125. 5:44each one, capture the title, channel,
  126. 5:47views, upload date, hook pattern, why it
  127. 5:50likely worked, and how I could adapt
  128. 5:52that pattern without copying the video.
  129. 5:55Return the top three ideas I should film
  130. 5:58this week. This is a very simple
  131. 6:01dumbed-down version. If you want the
  132. 6:02full
  133. 6:04agent setup for that, I literally have
  134. 6:07that video on my channel, and I've
  135. 6:09open-sourced that agent, so you can
  136. 6:10literally download it and send it to
  137. 6:12your Hermes agent. And this right here
  138. 6:15can become a service. In fact, we have
  139. 6:17turned it into a service. We've created
  140. 6:20a platform called Founder Funnel, where
  141. 6:24we surface the top trends in founders'
  142. 6:27niches, so that they can react to them
  143. 6:30and help guide them to create more,
  144. 6:32better,
  145. 6:34targeted content that speaks directly to
  146. 6:37their ICP. And you can sell that to
  147. 6:40founders who post on X.
  148. 6:42You can sell it to creators who need
  149. 6:45YouTube ideas. You can sell it to
  150. 6:47agencies who need trend research for
  151. 6:49clients. And because Hermes can run
  152. 6:52recurring jobs, this does not have to be
  153. 6:55a one-off report. It can become a weekly
  154. 6:57content intelligence system, and that is
  155. 7:00a real productized service.
  156. 7:03The third way is a trend scout. This is
  157. 7:07similar to content research, but more
  158. 7:10real-time. A lot of creators miss
  159. 7:12opportunities because they see the trend
  160. 7:15a little too late. A topic pops up on X.
  161. 7:18A model drops. A competitor video starts
  162. 7:21just ripping. A founder says something
  163. 7:24controversial, or a new tool launches.
  164. 7:28>> [snorts]
  165. 7:28>> If you see it in the first hour, you can
  166. 7:30post a reaction, film a short, write a
  167. 7:32thread, or record a quick video. If you
  168. 7:35see it 3 days later, then you're just
  169. 7:38late. The conversation has already moved
  170. 7:40on to something else.
  171. 7:42Hermes can monitor the services you care
  172. 7:45about and send you opportunities in real
  173. 7:48time. Here's the prompt. Every morning
  174. 7:51at 8:00 a.m. check X, YouTube, Hacker
  175. 7:54News, and AI news sources for topics
  176. 7:58related to AI agents, Clock Code, Open
  177. 8:00Claw, Hermes, and AI automation.
  178. 8:03Obviously, here
  179. 8:05change the sources depending on where
  180. 8:08the sources live in your specific
  181. 8:11industry. Maybe your industry is
  182. 8:13different than mine.
  183. 8:15Then change the things that you're
  184. 8:17looking for in your industry. What
  185. 8:19keywords specifically intrigue you in
  186. 8:22your industry?
  187. 8:23Then put only send opportunities that
  188. 8:26are fresh and relevant and actionable.
  189. 8:28For each one, include the source, why it
  190. 8:31matters, and the recommended response
  191. 8:33format and a draft hook. This is
  192. 8:36valuable because speed is money in
  193. 8:38content. If you're a creator, this helps
  194. 8:41you grow. If you're an agency, this
  195. 8:43helps you find and attract clients
  196. 8:46earlier. If you're a founder, this helps
  197. 8:49you join the conversation before it
  198. 8:51becomes saturated.
  199. 8:53This is one of the cleanest ways to use
  200. 8:55Hermes because the agent is not
  201. 8:57replacing your taste. It is increasing
  202. 8:59your surface area. It is helping you
  203. 9:02find opportunities. You still decide
  204. 9:05what is worth sharing, what is worth
  205. 9:07reacting to. The fourth way is also the
  206. 9:10most dangerous if you position it
  207. 9:12wrongly.
  208. 9:14So, I want to be very clear. I would not
  209. 9:16start by letting an AI agent trade with
  210. 9:19real money on autopilot. And I'm saying
  211. 9:22this as someone who has let AI agents
  212. 9:26start trading money
  213. 9:27real money on autopilot.
  214. 9:30That is how people get wrecked and that
  215. 9:32is how a lot of my AI agents got wrecked
  216. 9:36very early on.
  217. 9:38The useful version is a research and
  218. 9:40alert agent or even a testing agent that
  219. 9:44plays around with paper money.
  220. 9:46Polymarket and prediction markets have a
  221. 9:49lot of signal. There's a lot of places
  222. 9:52where you can find real leverage.
  223. 9:55Market prices change, volume changes,
  224. 9:58news changes, narratives change.
  225. 10:02The hard part is not clicking buy or
  226. 10:04sell. The hard part is noticing when
  227. 10:06something is worth looking at. And that
  228. 10:09is where Hermes can help you. This is
  229. 10:12what that prompt would look like.
  230. 10:13Monitor these Polymarket categories for
  231. 10:16unusual movement. Crypto, elections, AI,
  232. 10:19sports, and macro. You can change these
  233. 10:21depending on the markets you want to
  234. 10:24monitor. Do not place trades. When a
  235. 10:27market moves more than 8% in 24 hours or
  236. 10:30volume spikes unusually, send me a brief
  237. 10:32with the market link, current price,
  238. 10:34possible reason for the move, related
  239. 10:37news, and what I should verify before
  240. 10:39taking any action. Now, a couple of
  241. 10:42things you can adjust or customize here.
  242. 10:45You can customize how sensitive you want
  243. 10:48this to be or you can customize how
  244. 10:51much of a filter you want here. With 8%
  245. 10:55movement in 24 hours, you're going to
  246. 10:57get a lot of notifications. You're going
  247. 10:59to get spammed a lot,
  248. 11:01which might
  249. 11:03arguably reduce signal. You You might
  250. 11:05have analysis paralysis. So, you can up
  251. 11:08this. You can put this if there's a 25%
  252. 11:11change in 24 hours, then notify me. And
  253. 11:14you can also change the time frame. So,
  254. 11:1625% in 1 hour, like holy moly.
  255. 11:21So, those are the things you can
  256. 11:22customize in that prompt. I mean, hey,
  257. 11:25that can become a product, a paid alert
  258. 11:28system. And I know a lot of them. A
  259. 11:31private research feed, um a newsletter,
  260. 11:35a Discord bot, or a Telegram bot, a
  261. 11:37consulting workflow for people who
  262. 11:39already trade. But, again,
  263. 11:42the money is not in pretending the agent
  264. 11:45can predict the future. The money is in
  265. 11:47making research faster, cleaner, and
  266. 11:50more consistent. If you guys want a full
  267. 11:53video on this one, I've made plenty, not
  268. 11:56specifically on the research part, but
  269. 12:00more so on the entire agentic trading
  270. 12:04bot journey. Because the direct API side
  271. 12:07is easy for reading data, but real
  272. 12:10trading and positioning a bot with
  273. 12:13very good guardrails is extremely
  274. 12:17difficult.
  275. 12:18Or a lot more difficult than it is just
  276. 12:21to
  277. 12:22make it functional.
  278. 12:24You need off, wallets, approvals,
  279. 12:27balances, order signals, risk controls,
  280. 12:30and a lot of different safety checks.
  281. 12:33So, if you're interested in videos like
  282. 12:34these, there's a ton of them in my
  283. 12:37channel. Make sure to check them out.
  284. 12:39The fifth way, and my personal favorite,
  285. 12:42is client ops.
  286. 12:44This is probably the most underrated
  287. 12:46one. Every founder has the same problem.
  288. 12:50Way too many messages, way too many
  289. 12:53follow-ups, way too many promises made
  290. 12:56in calls.
  291. 12:58Too many small admin tasks that are not
  292. 13:01hard, but still need to happen and take
  293. 13:04a lot of your time.
  294. 13:06Hermes can help here because it sits
  295. 13:08close to the communication layer.
  296. 13:10I mean, it can help you summarize. It
  297. 13:12can help remind you of things. It can
  298. 13:15create follow-up drafts for you. It can
  299. 13:18keep track of recurring client details
  300. 13:21that are very easy to miss. It can turn
  301. 13:23messy conversations into next steps or
  302. 13:26next actions. And here's the fifth and
  303. 13:29final prompt. I just finished a client
  304. 13:32call. Turn these notes into a clean
  305. 13:34follow-up message, a list of actions,
  306. 13:36owners,
  307. 13:37deadlines, and reminders. Save the
  308. 13:40durable client preferences to memory,
  309. 13:42but do not save temporary task progress
  310. 13:45as a memory. Ask me before sending
  311. 13:47anything externally. This is not as
  312. 13:50flashy as AI makes money while I sleep,
  313. 13:53but it is the kind of workflow
  314. 13:55businesses actually pay a ton of money
  315. 13:58for. A founder does not always need a
  316. 14:00robot that builds a whole company.
  317. 14:03Sometimes they need an operator that
  318. 14:06makes sure nothing falls through the
  319. 14:08cracks. And if you can build that system
  320. 14:10for a founder, an agency, or even
  321. 14:13yourself, there is real money and real
  322. 14:16leverage in that. So, those are the five
  323. 14:19ways I would actually try to make money
  324. 14:22with Hermes agent. And a lot of the ways
  325. 14:25I have personally made money with my
  326. 14:27Hermes agent.
  327. 14:29Let's summarize. Lead gen and outreach,
  328. 14:31we have content research, we have X and
  329. 14:35YouTube trend scouting, we have
  330. 14:37Polymarket and trading alerts, and
  331. 14:39finally we have client ops for founders.
  332. 14:42Notice the pattern?
  333. 14:44None of these rely on some fantasy.
  334. 14:48They all attach Hermes to a real
  335. 14:51business function,
  336. 14:52whether it's research, whether it's
  337. 14:55sales, or content, or monitoring, or
  338. 14:58operations.
  339. 15:00That is where AI agents are very useful
  340. 15:03right now.
  341. 15:04Not as magic CEOs, but as junior
  342. 15:08operators that make real workflows just
  343. 15:10happen a whole lot faster.
  344. 15:13If you want to go deeper on one of
  345. 15:16these, then I've got just the thing for
  346. 15:18you.
  347. 15:19If you're interested in the outreach
  348. 15:21system, you can find the video for that,
  349. 15:25the full video of how we deploy that on
  350. 15:28my co-founder's channel, Leon Abood. If
  351. 15:31you want the YouTube research system, I
  352. 15:33have open-sourced my YouTube AI agent.
  353. 15:38So, you can literally download it for
  354. 15:41free and have your Hermes learn it as a
  355. 15:43skill. You can find that video in my
  356. 15:46channel as well.
  357. 15:47If you want the X and YouTube monitoring
  358. 15:51setup, I've also open-sourced that setup
  359. 15:53on GitHub. So, you can also take that
  360. 15:55file, send it to your Hermes agent or
  361. 15:58that link, and have it to learn it as a
  362. 16:00skill. That is also one of my YouTube
  363. 16:03videos. If you want the trading agent or
  364. 16:05the trading alerts agent, those are also
  365. 16:07videos I have on my channel that you can
  366. 16:11check out. And if you want the client
  367. 16:13assistant system,
  368. 16:15that is the one I don't have on my
  369. 16:18channel yet or an in-depth view of it
  370. 16:20because not a lot of people find it
  371. 16:22appealing or, you know, as hot as the
  372. 16:25other ones. Comment ops
  373. 16:28down below and I'll know how many people
  374. 16:31are interested in that video. And if
  375. 16:33you're new to Hermes, start simple.
  376. 16:36Don't try to build a money machine on
  377. 16:39day one. Build one workflow that saves
  378. 16:42time and creates opportunities. Then,
  379. 16:46have it pay for itself. If you enjoyed
  380. 16:49this video, make sure to subscribe for
  381. 16:52more content like this. I'll see you in
  382. 16:54the next one.
