5 Stages to Getting Rich in 2026: Which One Are You? — Transcript

- 0:00If you're young, ambitious, [music] and
- 0:02tired of being lied to about money, this
- 0:04video is for you. Here's the harsh
- 0:06truth. Society wants you to accept a
- 0:09normal life with average pay and maybe a
- 0:12trip away every year if you're lucky. If
- 0:14you want more than this, they shame you
- 0:16into thinking that you're greedy.
- 0:18However, what's really greedy is the
- 0:20system keeping you stuck at the bottom
- 0:22while the rich enjoy a life of freedom.
- 0:24I always knew I wanted to become [music]
- 0:26rich. So, in my early 20s, I quit my job
- 0:29and within a few years managed to become
- 0:31a multimillionaire. This means I know
- 0:33exactly what it takes [music] to build
- 0:34real wealth and continue to grow it over
- 0:36the years. So, today's video is all
- 0:38about my five-stage [music] process to
- 0:40actually getting rich while you're still
- 0:42young. Let's get into it.
- 0:45The fastest way to get rich is drop
- 0:47shipping. Or is it crypto? How about day
- 0:51trading? That's the exact problem most
- 0:53young people are facing. Everyone tells
- 0:55you something different, which leaves
- 0:57you frozen because you have so many
- 0:58choices. And what if you end up picking
- 1:01the wrong one? The thing is, life isn't
- 1:03like school where there's only one
- 1:04correct answer. There's actually
- 1:06multiple right choices. But when you
- 1:08don't pick one because you're too scared
- 1:10of making a mistake, life picks it for
- 1:13you. And if you let that happen, then
- 1:15the system will make sure to keep you
- 1:16broke. That's why the first stage is
- 1:18called drifting. People stuck here just
- 1:21float through life, letting things
- 1:23happen to them instead of taking control
- 1:25and steering their life in a direction
- 1:27they want to go. They drift from one job
- 1:29or side hustle to the next hoping that
- 1:31one day they'll strike it big. There's a
- 1:33famous quote that says, "If you aren't
- 1:35building your own dream, then someone
- 1:37else will hire you to build theirs."
- 1:38This is exactly what happens when you're
- 1:40stuck drifting. I mean, nobody's waking
- 1:43up in the morning thinking, "How can I
- 1:44make Jimmy rich?" The only person who
- 1:47will ever put your success first is you.
- 1:49So, I want you to be really honest with
- 1:51yourself. Are you drifting? I meet so
- 1:54many young people who say they want to
- 1:55become rich, but their actions just
- 1:57don't match their ambitions. They say
- 1:59things like, "Money doesn't make you
- 2:00happy." But this is just a lie the
- 2:02richer fed the poor for decades. Money
- 2:05equals freedom, and freedom equals
- 2:07happiness. So, there's no shame in
- 2:09striving for it. Mark my words, a
- 2:11drifter won't build serious wealth for
- 2:13themselves. They might get handouts or
- 2:15win the lottery, but they'll never be
- 2:17able to become rich on their own merit.
- 2:19So, how can you avoid being a drifter?
- 2:22That brings us on to
- 2:24>> [music]
- 2:26>> You can change your life in a moment
- 2:28with just one decision. You just have to
- 2:30choose to stop being pushed around by
- 2:32life and instead become obsessed with
- 2:34just one thing, getting rich. That's
- 2:36exactly why stage two is called
- 2:39obsession. Now, the outcome from that
- 2:40decision may take a few months to
- 2:42materialize, but it's that single choice
- 2:45that can propel your life on a whole new
- 2:47trajectory. If me suggesting that you
- 2:49should obsess over becoming rich made
- 2:51you cringe, then you need to change how
- 2:53you think about money because there's
- 2:54nothing shameful about wanting to be
- 2:56rich. The truth is, having money allows
- 2:58you to live life on your own terms and
- 3:00avoid being controlled by others. But as
- 3:02I said, the only way to achieve this is
- 3:05with obsession. Now, lots of young
- 3:07people I talk to think they want to be
- 3:08rich more than anything else, but
- 3:10actually they're just arrogant. They say
- 3:13they want to become rich, but also learn
- 3:15to play an instrument and run a marathon
- 3:17and also at the same time become fluent
- 3:20in another language. I mean, imagine
- 3:22your friend tells you they want to
- 3:23become a professional footballer, but
- 3:25also do all of those things, too. You'd
- 3:27probably laugh at them. Becoming a
- 3:29footballer is hard enough, let alone
- 3:31stacking all those things on top of it.
- 3:33Becoming rich is something only a small
- 3:35percentage of the population will ever
- 3:37achieve. So, why do you think you can
- 3:39get there whilst also pursuing 12 other
- 3:41goals at the same time? I can tell you
- 3:43from experience, if I didn't lock in and
- 3:46only focus on becoming rich in my early
- 3:48years, then I wouldn't be sitting here
- 3:50as a multimillionaire today. But being
- 3:51obsessed over becoming rich isn't enough
- 3:54to get you there. You need to figure out
- 3:56how you're actually going to make money.
- 3:57>> [music]
- 3:57>> That brings us on to
- 4:01The truth is, you get paid in proportion
- 4:03to the value you provide. And the reason
- 4:05you aren't rich yet is because you lack
- 4:07value. So, the question is, how can you
- 4:09become more valuable? This is the part a
- 4:12lot of people get stuck with. They think
- 4:14they have to come up with some kind of
- 4:15revolutionary business idea or find the
- 4:18next crypto coin before it goes to the
- 4:20moon. But you really don't have to be an
- 4:22innovator. All you need to do is
- 4:24discover something that's working right
- 4:26now
- 4:26>> [music]
- 4:26>> for many people and ask yourself, how
- 4:28can you do it, too? The fastest way to
- 4:31master a money-making skill is to find
- 4:33someone ahead of you and uncover their
- 4:35proven pathway. Some great choices are
- 4:37video editing, drop shipping, deal
- 4:40negotiating, short-form content
- 4:42creation, or starting an eBay store.
- 4:45That's why stage three is called
- 4:47discovery. When I was in my 20s and
- 4:49thinking about opening my first
- 4:50radio-controlled model shop, I didn't
- 4:52just dive in and set one up anywhere. I
- 4:55got myself a Saturday job in a local
- 4:57model shop. It was great for earning
- 4:58some extra cash, but the real value was
- 5:01in discovering the exact proven pathway
- 5:03to running a successful business. I was
- 5:06like a sponge, always asking questions,
- 5:08chatting with customers, and jotting
- 5:10down anything useful. But even more
- 5:12importantly, making a note of the things
- 5:15holding them back. I even spent my
- 5:16Sundays talking to modelers and
- 5:18customers to find out what they wanted
- 5:20from their local model shop. Now, I know
- 5:22you probably don't want to open a model
- 5:24shop, but the principle is exactly the
- 5:26same when it comes to learning any
- 5:28high-income skill. Find a person who's
- 5:30already achieved what you want to do and
- 5:32discover exactly how they became
- 5:35successful. It's basically a cheat code.
- 5:37You get a blueprint to skip their
- 5:39mistakes and end up progressing even
- 5:41faster than they did. This person
- 5:43doesn't have to be famous. It's actually
- 5:45better if they aren't as you know the
- 5:47money they say they're making is coming
- 5:49directly from their skills and not from
- 5:51their personal brand. You can find them
- 5:53in Discord communities, on Instagram,
- 5:55and even at sports clubs. But how can
- 5:57you get someone to reveal their proven
- 5:59pathway? Now, I'm not going to lie to
- 6:01you. Uncovering this is probably the
- 6:03hardest part. That's why I've gone out
- 6:05and done the discovery for you by
- 6:07hand-selecting some very impressive
- 6:09young people who are currently making
- 6:11over $100,000 a year in profit and asked
- 6:14them to reveal their proven pathways for
- 6:16you to copy. They're all on my new
- 6:18platform called The Wealth Portal, which
- 6:20you can currently try out for free. Each
- 6:22pathway is over 3 hours long and
- 6:25condenses their many years of experience
- 6:27into easy-to-follow step-by-step
- 6:29lessons. I'm also in there every week
- 6:31posting specific lessons about making
- 6:34and investing money. I'll drop a link in
- 6:36the description if you want to check it
- 6:37out. For now, just pick a pathway to
- 6:39follow. Once you've done that, it's time
- 6:41to focus on closing the skill gap
- 6:43between you and the person you're
- 6:45copying. That brings us on to
- 6:50Now, it's time to follow the proven
- 6:51pathway you discovered and start making
- 6:53money. This stage is called
- 6:55acceleration. At this point, you need to
- 6:58get in plenty of practice. So, just get
- 7:00started even if you don't fully know
- 7:02what you're doing yet. If you're
- 7:03offering a service, do some free work to
- 7:06get experience. If you're selling
- 7:07products, launch your first Shopify
- 7:09store. The results won't be amazing, and
- 7:12that's fine. The truth is, before you
- 7:14can be great at anything, you've got to
- 7:16be willing to suck at it first. Now, if
- 7:18you want to speed up your acceleration,
- 7:20you need to get constant constructive
- 7:22criticism. I mean, so many teens come up
- 7:25to me and tell me they want to be a
- 7:27YouTuber. They swear blind that they're
- 7:29making amazing videos, but the algorithm
- 7:31just isn't pushing their content. And
- 7:33they think one shout-out from me will
- 7:35blow their channels up. However, when I
- 7:37take a look at their videos, I can see
- 7:39they aren't anywhere near ready. So, why
- 7:41do they think they are? Well, the people
- 7:43they're asking for feedback from are
- 7:45often family and friends. [music] These
- 7:47are the worst people to get advice from
- 7:49as firstly, they don't want to hurt your
- 7:51feelings, and secondly, they also
- 7:53probably don't know what to say as
- 7:54they're not experienced enough to give
- 7:56you useful advice. This leads to most
- 7:58people not pivoting and changing their
- 8:00approach when they're going down the
- 8:01wrong path. There's a famous saying, "If
- 8:04you do what you've always done, you'll
- 8:05get what you've always got." That's why
- 8:08learning a high-income skill isn't just
- 8:10about putting in more hours of practice.
- 8:12It's about getting good advice to help
- 8:14spot the things holding you back. That's
- 8:16exactly why you need more constructive
- 8:18criticism from people outside your
- 8:20bubble, which I understand can be hard
- 8:22to find. That's why I spend a lot of
- 8:24time running interactive live events and
- 8:26answering your specific questions inside
- 8:29The Wealth Portal, which as I mentioned,
- 8:31you can currently try out for free. This
- 8:33process of getting feedback then putting
- 8:35your head down can be pretty brutal.
- 8:37Most rich people look back on this
- 8:39period of their life as their lonely
- 8:40chapter. You'll start to feel
- 8:42disconnected from your childhood friends
- 8:44because, let's be honest, most of them
- 8:46don't share the same ambitions as you.
- 8:49But at the same time, you're not yet
- 8:51successful enough to connect with the
- 8:52people you look up to. So, it's this
- 8:54strange middle ground, which can be very
- 8:57lonely at times. My son went through
- 8:58this when he left school. Instead of
- 9:01going off to university, he decided to
- 9:02start learning videography. He was so
- 9:05focused on building up his side hustle
- 9:07that he lost contact with many of his
- 9:09old friends. For a good couple of years,
- 9:11he grinded away on his own, putting in
- 9:13the reps, staying self-aware, and slowly
- 9:16refining by doubling down on what worked
- 9:18and cutting out what didn't. Believe me,
- 9:21it took a while before he was rich
- 9:22enough to make friends with other
- 9:23successful people. This lonely chapter
- 9:26is where most people give up and slip
- 9:28back into being average. And honestly, I
- 9:31don't blame them. It takes a crazy
- 9:33amount of dedication to push through
- 9:35when you're on your own. So, if you've
- 9:37outgrown old friends, but aren't rich
- 9:39yet, who can you turn to for support?
- 9:41Well, when I was growing my wealth, the
- 9:43best friends I made were the ones
- 9:45chasing success and leveling up at the
- 9:47same time. Honestly, the motivation and
- 9:50value you'll receive from the people in
- 9:52the trenches with you, as well as those
- 9:54one step ahead of you, is far more
- 9:56valuable than the stuff you'll learn
- 9:58from YouTube videos alone. That's why
- 10:00I've put the community at the heart of
- 10:02the Wealth Portal. I love seeing people
- 10:04share their wins, helping each other
- 10:06out, meeting up in real life, and having
- 10:08a bit of a friendly competition for the
- 10:10monthly prizes. But, even if you aren't
- 10:12part of the Wealth Portal, there are
- 10:14plenty of other communities that you can
- 10:16join, and I'd really recommend doing
- 10:18this so you don't have to do it all
- 10:19alone. But, when you start making a lot
- 10:22of money, where should you invest it?
- 10:24That brings us on to
- 10:27>> [music]
- 10:28>> The truth is, the most valuable
- 10:30investment you'll ever make isn't
- 10:31stocks, crypto, or real estate. It's
- 10:34you. You are the asset. You're the one
- 10:37thing you'll hold for your entire life,
- 10:39and the skills you develop compound just
- 10:41like money does. This is the point where
- 10:42your hard work starts paying off. That's
- 10:45why stage five is called freedom. If
- 10:48you've managed to follow a proven
- 10:49pathway and master the skills involved
- 10:51with making it work, then you'll have no
- 10:53problem becoming rich. You'll be able to
- 10:55buy whatever you want, work from
- 10:57anywhere in the world, and never have to
- 10:59answer to your boss ever again. I
- 11:01remember getting to this point, and
- 11:03trust me, there's no better feeling.
- 11:05But, here's the thing, being rich
- 11:07[music] and being wealthy are actually
- 11:09two separate things. You see, when you
- 11:11start earning a lot of money, you have
- 11:13two choices. You can spend it all on the
- 11:16things you want, like a flashy car,
- 11:18designer clothes, and luxury vacations,
- 11:21or on the other hand, you could reinvest
- 11:23a decent percentage of that money while
- 11:25you're still young, and build true
- 11:27wealth. This is entirely up to you. At
- 11:29this point, you've achieved financial
- 11:31freedom and have enough money rolling
- 11:33in. However, if you're aiming to impress
- 11:35other people, I'd say this, wealthy
- 11:38people like me will never be impressed
- 11:39with someone young spending all their
- 11:41money. We'll just look at you and be
- 11:43disappointed as we know you could
- 11:45achieve far more by reinvesting some of
- 11:48it. So, how can you actually reinvest?
- 11:50Well, when I was younger, I wasn't
- 11:52satisfied with just one income stream. I
- 11:54actually built multiple. This can be
- 11:56passive investments like index funds,
- 11:59cryptocurrency, and individual stocks,
- 12:01or even better, additional skills that
- 12:03can help you make more money. Most
- 12:05people never make this shift because
- 12:07they blow all their money on stupid
- 12:09things. They'd happily spend a thousand
- 12:11dollars on the latest iPhone, but won't
- 12:13reinvest two hundred dollars into
- 12:15themselves. And that's exactly why they
- 12:17never reach true wealth. Just think
- 12:19about it. Whatever you spend today on
- 12:21meaningless crap, you're taking from
- 12:24your future self. Wealthy people
- 12:26reinvest in their skills, businesses,
- 12:28and stocks to become more successful.
- 12:30Poor people spend money to impress other
- 12:32poor people. So, even when you have
- 12:35freedom, still spend a couple of hours a
- 12:37day learning, read books, watch YouTube
- 12:39videos, and join communities. These
- 12:42things have the highest return on
- 12:43investment you'll ever get. If you want
- 12:45to learn more about building wealth from
- 12:47scratch, then I'm going to leave that
- 12:48video right up there, but don't click on
- 12:50it just yet. Make sure to subscribe if
- 12:52you want to grow your wealth, okay? I'll
- 12:54see you over there.
