  1. 0:00I built a $57,321
  2. 0:03a month school community. And in today's
  3. 0:05video, I'm going to share with you the
  4. 0:07secrets that got me there. Now, I made a
  5. 0:09lot of mistakes along the way growing my
  6. 0:11school community. So, I'm really hoping
  7. 0:13that this video can help you speed past
  8. 0:15those mistakes, do what's actually going
  9. 0:17to work, and get to a successful school
  10. 0:19community as soon as possible. So, grab
  11. 0:22a notebook because this isn't theory.
  12. 0:24This is what I do inside my school
  13. 0:25community and business every single day
  14. 0:27to get it to 57,000 a month. and beyond.
  15. 0:30So, let's dive in. Now, the first secret
  16. 0:32I'm about to share is probably the most
  17. 0:34obvious. Yet, 99% of people are not
  18. 0:36doing it. So, we need to talk about
  19. 0:38this. And that is that you cannot
  20. 0:40consistently grow your school community
  21. 0:42and consistently grow your sales in your
  22. 0:44school community without this one thing.
  23. 0:46What do you think that is? The answer is
  24. 0:48growing your audience consistently.
  25. 0:51Because the truth is, in order to get
  26. 0:52consistent sales, you have to have
  27. 0:54consistent traffic. Aka be growing your
  28. 0:57audience consistently. be growing your
  29. 0:59email list consistently. Be consistently
  30. 1:02driving traffic to your sales page, your
  31. 1:04check out page, or your school about
  32. 1:06page where people can actually go and
  33. 1:08buy because as you know by now, a
  34. 1:10percentage of people who hit that check
  35. 1:12out page are going to buy. So if the
  36. 1:14number of people that hit that check out
  37. 1:15page increase, your sales will increase
  38. 1:17also. Okay, so here's what I do to grow
  39. 1:19my audience consistently. And you might
  40. 1:21be surprised by just how simple this is
  41. 1:23because I am a big fan of going allin on
  42. 1:26one thing. I am a huge fan of focus at
  43. 1:29the very minimum until you get to seven
  44. 1:31figures per year. I see far too many
  45. 1:34people trying to be on every single
  46. 1:35different platform. So, they're posting
  47. 1:37a little bit on Substack, a little bit
  48. 1:39on YouTube, a little bit on Twitter, a
  49. 1:41little bit on Facebook, a little bit on
  50. 1:42Instagram. I would not recommend this.
  51. 1:45In fact, I have not posted really on any
  52. 1:46other social in years because I put all
  53. 1:49of my focus into, you guessed it,
  54. 1:51YouTube. And I have scaled this channel
  55. 1:53from zero to over 400,000 views a month
  56. 1:57on this channel. That means my videos
  57. 1:59are getting over 400,000 views every
  58. 2:03single month. And I make sure to turn
  59. 2:05those viewers into email subscribers
  60. 2:07with freebies. And then I make sure to
  61. 2:09steer those email subscribers to my
  62. 2:11checkout page to convert a percentage of
  63. 2:13them into sales and paid school
  64. 2:16community members. Now, I put out eight
  65. 2:18videos a month on my YouTube channel.
  66. 2:20And how I do that is I actually block
  67. 2:22off the first week of every single month
  68. 2:25to solely focus on YouTube. Now, it
  69. 2:27doesn't happen that I spend that whole
  70. 2:29week on YouTube, but it is nice for me
  71. 2:31to have that blocked off to just really
  72. 2:33be in the mindset of thinking about
  73. 2:34that. And also, everyone on my team
  74. 2:36knows that when that's blocked off on
  75. 2:38the calendar, Molly's busy with YouTube.
  76. 2:40Please do not disturb her and let her
  77. 2:42focus. So, typically what I end up doing
  78. 2:44is one of those days I will end up doing
  79. 2:46my research to figure out what titles,
  80. 2:49topics, thumbnails, all that good stuff
  81. 2:50that I'm going to do, as well as taking
  82. 2:53my script template and planning all of
  83. 2:55that out. And then I spend another day
  84. 2:57filming four videos and another day
  85. 3:00filming another four videos. So, I
  86. 3:02really spend about three days per month
  87. 3:05doing the planning and filming for all
  88. 3:06my videos for the following month. So,
  89. 3:09let's say that we are in November. Okay.
  90. 3:11So, what I'm going to do is the first
  91. 3:12week of October, I will film my videos
  92. 3:15for November. So, this gives our YouTube
  93. 3:17team 3 to four weeks to actually turn
  94. 3:20around, edit, review, and schedule the
  95. 3:22videos. Now, I know there is so much
  96. 3:24more that could be done.
  97. 3:25>> Well, Molly, why don't you repurpose
  98. 3:27your YouTube videos into shorts? Molly,
  99. 3:29why don't you repurpose your videos in
  100. 3:31Instagram post? Molly, why don't you do
  101. 3:34this, that, and the other?
  102. 3:35>> Well, guess what? For six months, I
  103. 3:37tested all of my efforts. We did
  104. 3:39Pinterest and blogging. We did Instagram
  105. 3:41and a bunch of other social medias
  106. 3:42including YouTube and YouTube blew them
  107. 3:46out of the water like by a lot. Okay.
  108. 3:49So, what I did was instead of doing four
  109. 3:51videos a month, so one video per week
  110. 3:52like most people, I decided to double
  111. 3:55down on YouTube and get rid of all that
  112. 3:58other crap that I was spending time on
  113. 3:59that wasn't getting us as good of a
  114. 4:01return as YouTube. And truly, that is
  115. 4:04where I see most people going wrong.
  116. 4:06They see these bigname celebrity gurus
  117. 4:09like Gary Veayner Truck and Alex
  118. 4:11Hermoszie being on all of these
  119. 4:13different social platforms. So they
  120. 4:14think, "Wow, if they're on every single
  121. 4:16social platform, I need to be on every
  122. 4:18single social platform."
  123. 4:19>> But what they don't realize is that
  124. 4:21those people a started on one singular
  125. 4:24platform, nailed it, and then branched
  126. 4:26out to more, and b have multi-million
  127. 4:29dollar teams running all of those
  128. 4:32channels. If you're a soloreneur, then
  129. 4:34you need to more now than ever focus in
  130. 4:37on one channel. And then of course, yes,
  131. 4:39someday you can branch out. But
  132. 4:41hopefully that will be once you have a
  133. 4:43team because it is near impossible as
  134. 4:46one person to put your content
  135. 4:49successfully on all the other channels.
  136. 4:52Yes, I see a lot of people just doing
  137. 4:54the quick little repurpose to other
  138. 4:57channels thing. That hardly ever works
  139. 4:59and it really never works well. And
  140. 5:01that's because you really need to be
  141. 5:03creating content that's native to every
  142. 5:05single platform. So, for example, if I
  143. 5:06went and took this video, cut it up, and
  144. 5:09put it on reals, it's not going to do
  145. 5:11very well. Even those bigname social
  146. 5:13media gurus, like unless it's an
  147. 5:15interview, they are filming their shorts
  148. 5:17and reels and all of that separate from
  149. 5:19their long- form videos. So, what I want
  150. 5:21you to do with this advice is figure out
  151. 5:23what's the one platform that you are
  152. 5:25going to focus on and nail and do a
  153. 5:28really good job at. Because I truly
  154. 5:30believe if I wouldn't have focused all
  155. 5:31in on YouTube, there is no way I would
  156. 5:34have went from virtually zero to over
  157. 5:36400,000 views a month on YouTube in just
  158. 5:38a couple years. Like there's absolutely
  159. 5:40just no way I would have been able to do
  160. 5:42that focusing on learning all these
  161. 5:44different platforms and what works on
  162. 5:45every single different platform. So go
  163. 5:48and write down what's the one platform
  164. 5:50you want to go all in on. figure out how
  165. 5:51many times you want to post per month
  166. 5:53and then figure out when you're going to
  167. 5:54actually create that content so that you
  168. 5:56can batch it to actually get ahead and
  169. 5:58free up your work time to work on other
  170. 6:00things in and on your business as well.
  171. 6:03And if you want to see part of my
  172. 6:04YouTube process, if you want to see one
  173. 6:06of my SOPs, my exact YouTube script
  174. 6:09template, you can download it completely
  175. 6:11for free in the link in the description
  176. 6:13below this video. Okay, so we've talked
  177. 6:14about traffic. So let's dive into secret
  178. 6:16number two, which is talking about your
  179. 6:18school community consistently. Are you
  180. 6:20seeing a theme here? Like if you want
  181. 6:22consistent sales, you have to do things
  182. 6:23consistently. Right? So what I see
  183. 6:25happen to a lot of creators is they'll
  184. 6:27create a school community. They think
  185. 6:29>> if I build it, they will come.
  186. 6:31>> And that doesn't happen. And then they
  187. 6:33end up seeing crickets and thinking
  188. 6:34school doesn't work. When really in
  189. 6:36reality, they are not consistently
  190. 6:38making content, consistently driving
  191. 6:40traffic to their school community, and
  192. 6:42also consistently talking about their
  193. 6:44school community. So, for example, in
  194. 6:46all of my YouTube videos, I talk about
  195. 6:48my freebies and how you can find them in
  196. 6:50the description below this video. And
  197. 6:52then also in the description below
  198. 6:53mentions my membership, Freedom Creator
  199. 6:55Club, which we host on school. So, every
  200. 6:58single video is telling people to go in
  201. 6:59the description below, which gets them
  202. 7:01my freebies. It shows them my community,
  203. 7:03and also every time you download a
  204. 7:05freebie, the thank you page invites you
  205. 7:07to a free training where I also at the
  206. 7:10end of that free training talk about my
  207. 7:12paid school community as well. So, all
  208. 7:15signs are pointing to my school
  209. 7:17community and I'm talking about it
  210. 7:19consistently and doing things
  211. 7:20consistently to be getting sales to my
  212. 7:23school community consistently. And
  213. 7:25here's the thing, you don't need to be
  214. 7:26doing these big launches or launching
  215. 7:28every single month or doing anything
  216. 7:30super complicated. You truly don't. We
  217. 7:33make around 150 sales of our membership
  218. 7:35every single month. And we only do a
  219. 7:37launch or a relaunch, whatever you want
  220. 7:39to call it, a promotion once a year. and
  221. 7:42that is just to revamp the training
  222. 7:44parts of the program, probably raise the
  223. 7:45price, just improve things overall so
  224. 7:48that it can continue running on auto for
  225. 7:50the rest of the year. So, my school
  226. 7:51community truly has gone from 0 to 57K
  227. 7:55months by doing these things
  228. 7:56consistently, consistent traffic,
  229. 7:58talking about it consistently. I need to
  230. 8:01like stop saying the word consistent.
  231. 8:02You get it? Okay, now let's talk about
  232. 8:04secret number three, and that is
  233. 8:06building a program within your school
  234. 8:08community that actually gets people
  235. 8:10results. Now, the other day, we had a
  236. 8:12member join our paid school community,
  237. 8:14Freedom Creator Club. She wrote into
  238. 8:16customer service and she was like, "Hey,
  239. 8:17I wanted to let you know that I actually
  240. 8:19joined this because I edit for a bunch
  241. 8:21of YouTubers who are in your program and
  242. 8:23I've seen them grow so quickly and all
  243. 8:25they have to say is great things about
  244. 8:27your program, so I joined." Like, that
  245. 8:29is every creator's dream. That was one
  246. 8:32of the best emails that I could have
  247. 8:34received. Like reading that, I'm just
  248. 8:35like, "Yes, that is why I put so much
  249. 8:38time and effort into making my program
  250. 8:39as best as possible." There have been so
  251. 8:42many times where I've joined programs
  252. 8:43only to be let down by the fact like
  253. 8:46it's a recording of a live event they
  254. 8:47gave 5 years ago or it's an outdated
  255. 8:50quick Loom video or you log in and like
  256. 8:5350% of the freaking links don't work.
  257. 8:56Okay? And I'm not saying I'm perfect.
  258. 8:57Sometimes we have people say, "Hey, this
  259. 8:58link doesn't work." And we fix it. Okay?
  260. 9:00Not saying that we're perfect. However,
  261. 9:03I spend a lot of my time and energy into
  262. 9:07making program improvements. We are
  263. 9:08consistently improving the program. The
  264. 9:11program is just like my YouTube quality,
  265. 9:14if not better. And unfortunately, I see
  266. 9:16a lot where I will follow someone on
  267. 9:18YouTube and buy their program and the
  268. 9:20quality of the program is actually worse
  269. 9:22than the quality on YouTube. Like you
  270. 9:25really want to focus on making an
  271. 9:27awesome program that truly gets people
  272. 9:29results because when you can start
  273. 9:31getting sales by word of mouth, that is
  274. 9:34when you know that you are winning. And
  275. 9:36the thing is that your program does have
  276. 9:38to actually work. You know, like if
  277. 9:40people are joining your program and the
  278. 9:42majority of them are not getting
  279. 9:43results, they're not making progress.
  280. 9:46You know, of course there's always going
  281. 9:47to be the people who don't log in, they
  282. 9:49don't do anything. And you know, you can
  283. 9:50lead a horse to water, but you can't
  284. 9:52force it to drink, right? But if people
  285. 9:54are actually actively doing things and
  286. 9:56taking action and showing up to the
  287. 9:57calls and the majority of your students
  288. 9:59are not getting results, that is
  289. 10:01definitely bad. You definitely need to
  290. 10:02put a lot of time and energy into not
  291. 10:05only making a high quality program, but
  292. 10:07a program that's short and sweet, gives
  293. 10:09them all the information that they need
  294. 10:11and nothing more so that they can get
  295. 10:14results as fast as possible. Because
  296. 10:15everyone would rather get the result in
  297. 10:175 days versus 50 days. You know, just
  298. 10:20showing that as an example. You want to
  299. 10:21make the program as good as possible.
  300. 10:23Get them the results as short as
  301. 10:24possible so that you can start getting
  302. 10:26emails being like, I joined because so
  303. 10:28and so told me about this program. It is
  304. 10:30the best. And also $0 to acquire a
  305. 10:33customer, which is also amazing. And by
  306. 10:36the way, if you want to learn my entire
  307. 10:38process step by step, how to grow on
  308. 10:40YouTube, how to figure out what your
  309. 10:42topic should be, what digital product
  310. 10:44you should sell that will actually be
  311. 10:46profitable, how to launch it, and then
  312. 10:49of course, how to set it up to
  313. 10:50consistently sell. Go ahead and check
  314. 10:52out my free on demand training. It's one
  315. 10:54of the first links in the description
  316. 10:55below this video. Okay, so once you have
  317. 10:57your program built, you have traffic
  318. 10:59consistently coming in, you have sales
  319. 11:01consistently coming in, another way that
  320. 11:03we got to those $57,000 months and
  321. 11:06started getting word of mouth and more
  322. 11:08sales with $0 to acquire a customer like
  323. 11:10I just previously talked about is by
  324. 11:12building systems in your business.
  325. 11:14That's a lot of S's. So what you're
  326. 11:17seeing public facing from my business is
  327. 11:19you are seeing, wow, their school
  328. 11:21community is growing. Wow, her YouTube's
  329. 11:23growing. You know, she's doing all these
  330. 11:24things. What you're not seeing
  331. 11:26internally is we're putting in just as
  332. 11:28much work internally to document and SOP
  333. 11:32every single process. So our customer
  334. 11:34service person, every time she checks
  335. 11:36help scout, she has an SOP to follow.
  336. 11:38Every time she goes and makes a post in
  337. 11:40school, she has an SOP to follow. Every
  338. 11:42time she goes and reminds everyone about
  339. 11:44the Q&A calls, she has an SOP to follow.
  340. 11:47And as the owner, this is going to save
  341. 11:49you so much time because whether you're
  342. 11:52a solarreneur or not, you want to start
  343. 11:54making these SOPs right away because as
  344. 11:56soon as you have them made, it's so much
  345. 11:58easier to hire and train people. And
  346. 12:00then you're not having to constantly
  347. 12:02answer their questions. Your time can be
  348. 12:04better spent on growing the business and
  349. 12:06growing the sales. And they're going to
  350. 12:08love their job more because they don't
  351. 12:09always have to come and bother you with
  352. 12:11questions because they have everything
  353. 12:12they need to do their job lined out in
  354. 12:15their SOP. So for every single part of
  355. 12:17the business, we have playbooks. This is
  356. 12:19a word document with tabs on the side
  357. 12:21with every single SOP in it. So for
  358. 12:24YouTube, for example, it's like how to
  359. 12:25do the research, how to come up with the
  360. 12:27titles, how to do the scripts, how to
  361. 12:29record the videos, how to edit the
  362. 12:30videos, how to review the videos, like
  363. 12:32every single step of the process that
  364. 12:34the team can go in and review to make
  365. 12:37sure that they are doing everything
  366. 12:39correctly. And this is huge. This is
  367. 12:42huge in saving you time. This is huge in
  368. 12:44making your business more valuable. Like
  369. 12:46if you want to sell your business
  370. 12:47someday, you got to do this. This is
  371. 12:49also huge in just making sure things are
  372. 12:52streamlined and giving a better delivery
  373. 12:54to your actual students. Because if
  374. 12:56every time they write into customer
  375. 12:58service, they're getting different
  376. 12:59answers, you know, they're not getting
  377. 13:01replied to in a timely manner,
  378. 13:03everything's just kind of chaotic, maybe
  379. 13:05they don't know when the Q&A calls are,
  380. 13:07maybe they're feeling like alone in your
  381. 13:09community, you know, there needs to be
  382. 13:11parts of every single part of your
  383. 13:12business getting systemized. So the
  384. 13:15delivery can be great for your students
  385. 13:17as well. And again, we are also doing
  386. 13:19this for lead genen. We are also doing
  387. 13:20this for sales. We have these playbooks
  388. 13:22with SOPs in them for every single
  389. 13:24department of the business. And yes, I
  390. 13:26started building these out when it was
  391. 13:28just me, when I just started this
  392. 13:29business on my own. And it was so much
  393. 13:31easier to hire people and say, "These
  394. 13:34are all your SOPs." You know, of course,
  395. 13:35I took the time to train them in, but it
  396. 13:37made everything so much faster and
  397. 13:39easier. And then, of course, when you
  398. 13:40have someone trained in, it can be their
  399. 13:42job to tweak and improve and add to all
  400. 13:45those SOPs inside the playbook. Simply
  401. 13:48put, this is what's going to give you
  402. 13:49consistent and sustainable growth
  403. 13:51without burnout. NPS, if you're a metal
  404. 13:54like me and you teach what you do, now
  405. 13:56you have all the SOPs for your programs
  406. 13:58made cuz like literally, we just take
  407. 14:00the SOPs from our business and we give
  408. 14:02them to our students. Okay, secret
  409. 14:04number five, guys. This is the most
  410. 14:06important. Like, please listen closely
  411. 14:08to this one. This one is to track your
  412. 14:11data and make decisions on data and not
  413. 14:14emotions. This one has saved my business
  414. 14:17many a times. Have you ever done
  415. 14:19something in your business where you're
  416. 14:20like,
  417. 14:20>> "Well, I just feel like we should update
  418. 14:22our branding. I just feel like we should
  419. 14:24do different messaging. I just feel like
  420. 14:26we should go in this direction."
  421. 14:28>> And then you change everything and then
  422. 14:29it bombs. And then if you didn't have
  423. 14:31everything documented, you can't easily
  424. 14:33go back to what was working. And that
  425. 14:36right there is a worst case scenario of
  426. 14:38making decisions based on emotion and
  427. 14:40not data. Because let's be honest, it's
  428. 14:42so easy to feel like things aren't
  429. 14:44working. But if you have your data and
  430. 14:47your numbers, you can pull those up and
  431. 14:48go, "Okay, it's in my head. Everything's
  432. 14:50working. Everything's great." And also,
  433. 14:53you can look at your data and go, "Wow,
  434. 14:55these things are working really well.
  435. 14:56Let's do more of these things. These
  436. 14:58things aren't working as well. Let's do
  437. 14:59less of these things." You know, and
  438. 15:01that is also what ultimately got me to
  439. 15:02focus all in on YouTube is because that
  440. 15:04was producing not only the most views,
  441. 15:07but the most sales for the business. So,
  442. 15:09what I want you to do is have a
  443. 15:11spreadsheet where you're tracking all
  444. 15:12your numbers. You know, your social
  445. 15:14media views, the views to your checkup
  446. 15:16page, the views to your sales page, the
  447. 15:17amount of sales you're getting. Track
  448. 15:19your conversion rate. Like, track every
  449. 15:21single number in your business. And
  450. 15:23also, if you're making money and you
  451. 15:25don't have an accountant yet,
  452. 15:28that was me slapping you. Get an
  453. 15:30accountant because every single month,
  454. 15:31they will give you a P&L, which is a
  455. 15:33profit and loss statement that you can
  456. 15:36review. Every single month I actually
  457. 15:38have a 30-inute meeting with my
  458. 15:39accountant. We go over my P&L. We talk
  459. 15:42about tax strategy. We talk about, you
  460. 15:44know, should we scale up the amount of
  461. 15:46money that I'm paying myself? Should we
  462. 15:48buy this thing so I can pay less taxes,
  463. 15:51you know, etc., etc. But seriously,
  464. 15:52guys, it is life-changing to make
  465. 15:54decisions on numbers and not emotions.
  466. 15:57So, definitely start tracking that ASAP.
  467. 15:59And again, if you want to learn my
  468. 16:01entire process, get access to our SOPs
  469. 16:03and all of that great stuff, go ahead
  470. 16:05and check out my free ondemand training,
  471. 16:07one of the first links in the
  472. 16:08description below this video. Now, of
  473. 16:10course, building a $57,000 a month
  474. 16:12school community didn't happen
  475. 16:14overnight, my friends. It was the result
  476. 16:16of taking consistent action on the
  477. 16:18things that matter. But here's the good
  478. 16:20news. Hopefully, by watching this video,
  479. 16:21you've learned it's really not that
  480. 16:23complicated. You grow an audience, you
  481. 16:26have a product, you sell it, and you
  482. 16:27consistently send traffic to that check
  483. 16:29out page, and you make sales. And if you
  484. 16:32want more sales, you do what? You send
  485. 16:34more traffic. Like, it really is quite
  486. 16:37simple, especially to get to seven
  487. 16:38figures a year, which I know sounds
  488. 16:40crazy. And when somebody told me that
  489. 16:41once, I was like, you're nuts. It's the
  490. 16:43hardest thing ever. It's genuinely not.
  491. 16:46Like, you do need to learn how to do it,
  492. 16:48but it is simple. It's really only
  493. 16:50pulling a few levers. You only need one
  494. 16:52product. You need more traffic to get
  495. 16:54more sales. You need to increase your
  496. 16:56conversion rate to get more sales. Like,
  497. 16:57there's really only a couple levers you
  498. 16:58need to pull. The hardest part is going
  499. 17:00to be getting that product market fit.
  500. 17:02And once you nail that, it is going to
  501. 17:04become so much easier to scale. All
  502. 17:06right. So, now that you know my five
  503. 17:08secrets for getting to $57,000 a month
  504. 17:11on school, you might be wanting to learn
  505. 17:13my onepage YouTube plan that helped me
  506. 17:15make money from YouTube from day one.
  507. 17:17Well, it all starts with watching this
  508. 17:19video next here. Because when you pair
  509. 17:20what you just learned with what's in
  510. 17:22this here video, it's going to well,
  511. 17:24it's going to be so much more powerful
  512. 17:25is what it is. See you in the next
  513. 17:28video.
