- 1:35medical billing cycle so what are the
- 1:37basic steps which are involved in
- 1:39medical billing
- 1:41cycle yes sir yes sir uh actually the
- 1:44medic billing cycle also known as RCM
- 1:47Revenue M cycle
- 1:49management first of
- 1:51all we will register patient patient
- 1:54regist registration is done then after
- 1:56patient regist registration patient will
- 2:00visit the uh provider and get their
- 2:03services then we get get more
- 2:06information uh about patient then we
- 2:10make a claim and process that claim and
- 2:13enter charges charges entries and then
- 2:16claim submission after claim submission
- 2:19the pay uh payments have been done uh we
- 2:21will also done Insurance verification
- 2:24before the claim submission so that our
- 2:27claim will not deny or any rejection to
- 2:30any
- 2:31rejections after payment projection if
- 2:33there is any deny or claim rejection
- 2:36then followup is involved
- 2:39in process okay great okay so can you
- 2:42please let us know like what is the
- 2:44difference between ICD and CPD codes and
- 2:47why are they important in medical
- 2:51billing IC codes and CPD codes are inter
- 2:54ICD CES are basically internationally
- 2:55classified diagnosis and these Cod CES
- 2:58are used for diagnosis purposes and any
- 3:00disease uh if patient have any disease
- 3:04or uh diagnosis then these courts are
- 3:07entered in ICD cours and CPD cours are
- 3:10current procedural terminologies and
- 3:12these coures are refer for any surgeries
- 3:16any surgeries or different process
- 3:19involved during checkup okay so how
- 3:22would you approach resolving a claim
- 3:24that has been underpaid by an insurance
- 3:27like if a claim is underpaid by an
- 3:28insurance and like they have denied some
- 3:31sort of cpts okay so how would you
- 3:34proceed for the next
- 3:36action for unpaid uh unpaid claims there
- 3:40should be any coding errors or any
- 3:43technical errors we should resolve these
- 3:45errors and resubmit these claims got it
- 3:48okay can you please differentiate
- 3:50between the clean claims and dirty
- 3:52claims and why is submitting clean
- 3:54claims crucial clean claims are actually
- 3:56the that claims that are without any
- 3:59errors mhm and dirty claim have made
- 4:02some errors or mistakes in Billing so we
- 4:06should so Bing clean error clean claims
- 4:10are essential because to avoid any
- 4:13denials rejections see okay so the last
- 4:16question I have for you so uh how do you
- 4:19explain the concept of patient
- 4:21co-payments and deductibles to a patient
- 4:24like what is the basic difference
- 4:25between the co-payments and the
- 4:26deductibles
- 4:29deductibles are actually the amount that
- 4:32that patient
- 4:34pays for the for activate their
- 4:37insurance and co-payments are actually
- 4:40the payments that patient is responsible
- 4:42to pay at the time of checkup uh from
- 4:46the provider okay by own co- payments so
- 4:51you can say that the co- payment is kind
- 4:53of a uh checking fees once you just meet
- 4:56a provider or you just get any Services
- 4:58you have to pay those kind of a payments
- 5:00right at the time of services to the
- 5:03provider yes these payments are paid by
- 5:06its own pocket
