  1. 0:00These are five jobs that are so short
  2. 0:01staffed that they're begging people over
  3. 0:0350 to apply because everybody tells you
  4. 0:06that after 50 you're too old to get
  5. 0:08hired and that is nonsense. So, here's
  6. 0:10the mistake that most people over 50
  7. 0:12make. They go after the same jobs as
  8. 0:1425-year-olds where the company wants
  9. 0:16fast and cheap labor and they lose. The
  10. 0:18smarter move as a 50-year-old is to go
  11. 0:20where the thing that the companies can't
  12. 0:22find is experience and where there's a
  13. 0:24real labor shortage. Then the companies
  14. 0:26are not hiring you in spite of your age,
  15. 0:28they're hiring you because of it. And
  16. 0:30AARP says that people 55 and older
  17. 0:32control about 70% of the personal wealth
  18. 0:34in America, so the customers with the
  19. 0:36money are your age. And I've helped
  20. 0:38thousands of people get into new jobs
  21. 0:40like Brian for instance who landed a
  22. 0:41fully remote digital marketing job at 59
  23. 0:44one week after he started applying. Or
  24. 0:45nurse Jen who was able to fully replace
  25. 0:47her income and quit her job as a nurse
  26. 0:49from the career path that I recommended
  27. 0:50to her. And now she's traveling all over
  28. 0:52the country in her camper van. So, every
  29. 0:54stat is on the screen with its source.
  30. 0:56There's no AI slop here. My team and I
  31. 0:57work very hard on these videos and I
  32. 0:59will tell you the one that I picked for
  33. 1:00my own brother as well. So, if you
  34. 1:02appreciate me making this type of
  35. 1:03content and you want to see me make more
  36. 1:04of it in the future, then let me know by
  37. 1:06gently choosing that like button. Let's
  38. 1:07jump into it right now.
  39. 1:09Okay, so first one we're going to be
  40. 1:10talking about is teaching your wisdom on
  41. 1:13YouTube. So, there's a shortage here
  42. 1:14too. There are millions of people online
  43. 1:16desperate for advice from someone who's
  44. 1:18actually lived it and not nearly enough
  45. 1:20people making it. Just look at Bernard
  46. 1:21Albertson. He sat down in front of the
  47. 1:22camera and made a video called an old
  48. 1:24man's advice with a bad camera, no
  49. 1:26editing, and just a man talking about
  50. 1:28what life taught him. And that one video
  51. 1:30got over 38 views and according to
  52. 1:32Viewstats that single video made about
  53. 1:33189,000. Same thing with Dry Creek
  54. 1:36Wrangler School. He's been around horses
  55. 1:37for over 30 years, raised seven kids,
  56. 1:39and he just sits down, hits record, and
  57. 1:41talks about whatever is on his mind with
  58. 1:43no fancy setup. And his video, When You
  59. 1:45Just Ain't Got It Together, has over 8.6
  60. 1:48million views and according to VidIQ
  61. 1:49that one video made somewhere around 23
  62. 1:52to 62,000 dollars. And his channel has
  63. 1:541.68 million subscribers. And then
  64. 1:56there's a channel called Dad, How Do I?
  65. 1:58It's just a dad teaching the stuff that
  66. 2:00a dad would teach you. How to tie a tie,
  67. 2:02how to shave, how to change a tire. And
  68. 2:03his video, How to Tie a Tie Easily, has
  69. 2:05over 3.5 million views, and the channel
  70. 2:07has over 5.7 million subscribers. And
  71. 2:09the reason these videos do so well
  72. 2:11without fancy editing is that people
  73. 2:13want wisdom. So it used to be that the
  74. 2:14easiest cheat code on YouTube was, step
  75. 2:16one, be a hot girl. Step two, get views.
  76. 2:19Step three, profit. Now, it's step one,
  77. 2:22be over 50. Step two, get views. Step
  78. 2:25three, profit. Seriously, advertisers
  79. 2:27want to advertise to older people.
  80. 2:29YouTube wants older people on their
  81. 2:30platform. YouTube wants older creators.
  82. 2:32And even younger people would like to
  83. 2:34watch older creators. As well as other
  84. 2:35older people would rather watch older
  85. 2:37creators as well. And there's very
  86. 2:38simply a supply and demand imbalance.
  87. 2:41There's lots of demand for people making
  88. 2:42content for older creators, and there's
  89. 2:44not a lot of supply of older creators
  90. 2:46actually making the content. And I've
  91. 2:47been saying this for a long time, and
  92. 2:49I've gotten tons and tons of community
  93. 2:51members results. There's just countless
  94. 2:52amounts of older community members that
  95. 2:54we have that have gotten results on
  96. 2:55YouTube. But people started saying, "Oh,
  97. 2:56well, Shane, you're just, you know,
  98. 2:58cherry-picking the winners." And I took
  99. 3:00that personally. So I literally picked a
  100. 3:01random member of my family, my brother
  101. 3:03Zach, who's in his 50s, and I blew up
  102. 3:04his YouTube channel in less than 1
  103. 3:06month, right? His very first video that
  104. 3:08he posted got over 800,000 views, and 1
  105. 3:10month in he made $214 in a single day.
  106. 3:12And that's the exact system that I'm
  107. 3:13going to be teaching at the live
  108. 3:15training this week. So click that first
  109. 3:16link in the description and the pin
  110. 3:17comment below. And if for whatever
  111. 3:19reason you're not convinced that you
  112. 3:20don't need any fancy tech or any
  113. 3:21editing, or if you don't think that this
  114. 3:23is going to work for you because you're
  115. 3:24over 50, well, just look at this one.
  116. 3:25How to Make Pickle Pepsi at Home for
  117. 3:27Free from M&J Metal. And this video
  118. 3:28looks like it was recorded with an
  119. 3:30absolute potato for a camera. There's no
  120. 3:32editing whatsoever, and there's no
  121. 3:33proper structure in this video. In fact,
  122. 3:36when he's actually showing you how to
  123. 3:37make the pickle Pepsi, he's doing it off
  124. 3:40camera. So he's not even showing you
  125. 3:42mixing it together. He's just talking
  126. 3:44about what he's doing. So this video has
  127. 3:45some of the worst production quality
  128. 3:47I've ever seen, but it didn't matter. It
  129. 3:48got 11 million views and made $55,000.
  130. 3:51Right, so if you want to learn how to do
  131. 3:53YouTube, even if you're not tech-savvy,
  132. 3:54like what Bernard, Dry Creek Wrangler
  133. 3:56School, my brother M&J Metal, etc. They
  134. 3:58all did it. Join my free live training
  135. 4:01by clicking that first link in the
  136. 4:02description and the pin comment below,
  137. 4:03and we'll show you exactly how it's
  138. 4:04done. All right, YouTube just got 10
  139. 4:07times easier and nobody is talking about
  140. 4:10it. You used to need an entire film
  141. 4:12crew, and it used to be a full-time job
  142. 4:14for you to just do any work at all on
  143. 4:16YouTube. But now, you can get work done
  144. 4:18in as little as 15 to 30 minutes a day,
  145. 4:20and you can actually grow a full-time
  146. 4:22YouTube channel. That's exactly what
  147. 4:24I'll be talking about at the live
  148. 4:26training that we're doing this week.
  149. 4:28Exactly how to start YouTube,
  150. 4:30step-by-step for beginners. So, click
  151. 4:32the link in the description and the pin
  152. 4:33comment below to check that out, guys. I
  153. 4:34will be answering questions before,
  154. 4:36during, and after the live training.
  155. 4:38It's completely free, plus I'll be
  156. 4:40giving away an AI that is designed to
  157. 4:42help you pick your niche, if you don't
  158. 4:43have one in the first place, or if you
  159. 4:45already have a niche, it's going to help
  160. 4:46you make it 10 times better. So, really
  161. 4:49looking forward to talking with you
  162. 4:50guys. This is stuff that we've never
  163. 4:52talked about before. So, click that link
  164. 4:53in the description and comment below. I
  165. 4:55look forward to seeing you there. Right,
  166. 4:56so the next one is getting a job in
  167. 4:58sales. Now, you might think that this is
  168. 4:59hard, and many sales jobs are hard, but
  169. 5:02hear me out, because there's a specific
  170. 5:03type of sales that I recommend to people
  171. 5:05without much or any experience at all.
  172. 5:07Because according to Bureau of Labor
  173. 5:08Statistics, there are about 1.8 million
  174. 5:10sales job openings every single year.
  175. 5:13Not because sales is growing, but
  176. 5:14because people keep quitting. Right?
  177. 5:16Sales teams lose about 35% of their reps
  178. 5:18every year. So, this is a high churn
  179. 5:20career. And that's exactly where being
  180. 5:22over 50 is your advantage. The Bureau of
  181. 5:24Labor Statistics says that workers 55 to
  182. 5:2764 stay with their employer about 9.6
  183. 5:29years, compared to 2.7 years for workers
  184. 5:3225 to 34. So, a company losing a third
  185. 5:35of its sales team every year doesn't
  186. 5:36need another 25-year-old who's going to
  187. 5:38leave right away. It needs someone who
  188. 5:40stays, and when it's time to close a big
  189. 5:42deal, people trust the person who's been
  190. 5:44around, and that's you. Now,
  191. 5:45additionally, this is especially good if
  192. 5:48you've been in a particular industry.
  193. 5:50Let's just say you spent a lot of time
  194. 5:51in the medical industry. Well, you could
  195. 5:53do medical sales, and because of the
  196. 5:54fact that you have so much experience in
  197. 5:56the medical industry, and just literally
  198. 5:58the fact that you're on the older side,
  199. 5:59in many cases you'll do significantly
  200. 6:01better right off the bat because people
  201. 6:03trust other people who have experience
  202. 6:05in their industry, and they also trust
  203. 6:06people who are older and have some
  204. 6:08wisdom. And not only that, in many
  205. 6:09different sales roles and certain
  206. 6:10industries, for instance, you're going
  207. 6:11to be selling to executives who make the
  208. 6:13buying decisions. And according to
  209. 6:15Wharton researchers Peter Cappelli, the
  210. 6:17average age of top executives at
  211. 6:19America's biggest companies is 57. So,
  212. 6:21the people signing off on the big deals
  213. 6:23are your age. And people buy from people
  214. 6:26that they relate to. So, a 57-year-old
  215. 6:28executive would rather sit across the
  216. 6:29table from someone who gets them than
  217. 6:31from a 23-year-old reading off of a
  218. 6:33script. And that's you if you're on the
  219. 6:35older side. Now, you might be thinking,
  220. 6:36"Well, Shane, I've never done sales."
  221. 6:38Well, there's a specific type of sales
  222. 6:40that I always recommend, right? I like
  223. 6:41tech sales because you don't need a
  224. 6:43sales background. You don't need a
  225. 6:44degree, and a lot of these jobs are
  226. 6:46remote. Now, just to be clear, the best
  227. 6:48thing for you to do is probably just to
  228. 6:50go into a sales job that's related to
  229. 6:51whatever industry you already have
  230. 6:53experience in, but if you don't have any
  231. 6:55experience in any industry and you're
  232. 6:56just wondering which one is the best to
  233. 6:57get into, I would argue tech sales. And
  234. 6:59typically with tech sales, you're going
  235. 7:01to be working with other companies. So,
  236. 7:02this is what's known as a B2B sales
  237. 7:04role, and it's really more focused on
  238. 7:06developing long-term relationships with
  239. 7:08these companies, figuring out what
  240. 7:09they're struggling with, and figuring
  241. 7:11out how you can actually help them solve
  242. 7:12those problems versus kind of a sketchy
  243. 7:15used car salesman just trying to get
  244. 7:16anybody to buy anything in a car lot.
  245. 7:18And we felt a ton of people get tech
  246. 7:19sales jobs as well. And in this job,
  247. 7:21they're basically people who sell
  248. 7:22software and technology to other
  249. 7:24businesses, and that does sound
  250. 7:25overwhelming, but it's actually not,
  251. 7:27right? So, tech sales in general makes
  252. 7:28about 136 to 255,000
  253. 7:31dollars a year. When you first get
  254. 7:32started, you're likely not going to be
  255. 7:33making that much, but it is very
  256. 7:35realistic to get up to those levels. In
  257. 7:37fact, one of our community members,
  258. 7:38Antoine, I interviewed him on my
  259. 7:40channel, Antoine had never worked in
  260. 7:41sales, either, and he just spent 15
  261. 7:43years in one industry doing everything
  262. 7:45except selling, and then he switched
  263. 7:46into sales later on in his career
  264. 7:48because he saw that these sales guys
  265. 7:50were making a killing. And he ended up
  266. 7:52making $378,000
  267. 7:53his first year in only 9 months, and by
  268. 7:55the time I interviewed him, he was
  269. 7:57making over 540,000 a year.
  270. 7:59>> Last year, uh my W-2 shows that I made
  271. 8:01540,000, a little bit over, but let's
  272. 8:04just say 540,000
  273. 8:06dollars.
  274. 8:07>> Now, the only way he was able to go from
  275. 8:08zero to making this much is because of
  276. 8:11the fact that he already had industry
  277. 8:13experience. He was on the older side.
  278. 8:14Now, what we did past this is we helped
  279. 8:16him start and grow a YouTube channel
  280. 8:18using our system as well. And so, on top
  281. 8:20of his job making over 500,000 a year,
  282. 8:23he started making a ton of money from
  283. 8:25his YouTube channel, too. And on his
  284. 8:26YouTube channel, he helps a lot of
  285. 8:27people get into those careers, right?
  286. 8:29So, he's now making six figures a month,
  287. 8:31and he built all of that while working a
  288. 8:32demanding sales job and raising two
  289. 8:34kids. So, there's great money in tech
  290. 8:36sales and a lot of the different careers
  291. 8:37that we're going to talk about on this
  292. 8:38list, but there's arguably even more
  293. 8:40money in being the person who teaches
  294. 8:42it. And that's actually a wonderful
  295. 8:43thing because it used to be that there'd
  296. 8:45be no real reason for you to teach other
  297. 8:47people how to do your job, right? You're
  298. 8:49just making more competition for
  299. 8:50yourself. But thanks to YouTube actually
  300. 8:52rewarding you for sharing your secrets,
  301. 8:54you can actually make significantly more
  302. 8:56money by teaching other people how to do
  303. 8:57your job than doing the job itself,
  304. 8:59which is awesome. And the reason that
  305. 9:00works is simple. You can teach people
  306. 9:02anything that you know as long as they
  307. 9:04know that you exist and they see you as
  308. 9:06someone worth listening to, right? As
  309. 9:07long as they're helping them solve their
  310. 9:09problems. And the fastest way to get
  311. 9:10people you exist is YouTube. Every video
  312. 9:13you post puts what you know in front of
  313. 9:14people who are already searching for it.
  314. 9:16Now, you might be thinking, "Well,
  315. 9:17Shane, I'm over 50. I'm not tech savvy.
  316. 9:19I don't have a high-paying job to teach
  317. 9:20anything about. You know, I've never
  318. 9:22made a video in my life." Well, just
  319. 9:23look at my brother. Zach's in his 50s,
  320. 9:25almost 30 years in HVAC, plumbing, and
  321. 9:26electrical. He'd never set up a camera
  322. 9:28in his life, never recorded a video in
  323. 9:30his life besides just recording videos
  324. 9:31on his phone, and was not tech savvy at
  325. 9:33all. And I just sold him to start
  326. 9:35YouTube, bro. And he trusted me. He
  327. 9:36posted his very first video, literally
  328. 9:38just talking about what he learned
  329. 9:39working in the trades, and that very
  330. 9:41first video blew up and he went from
  331. 9:42zero to full-time income in less than 1
  332. 9:44month. Right? So, he was making $214 in
  333. 9:46a single day, and that's a $78,000
  334. 9:49a year run rate. Then, he closed out his
  335. 9:51first year doing over $18,000 in a
  336. 9:54single month. So, if you want to see how
  337. 9:55Antoine and Zach did this, join my free
  338. 9:58live training this week. Now, I'm going
  339. 9:59to be revealing how I grew my career
  340. 10:01channel, how I helped my brother Zach,
  341. 10:03and how I helped Antoine as well as many
  342. 10:05others do this. And I'm going to be
  343. 10:06doing that at a one-time live event this
  344. 10:08week, so click the first link in the
  345. 10:10description in the pin comment below to
  346. 10:11attend that. And we do have limited
  347. 10:13seats, almost every single time we
  348. 10:15completely run out of seats. Right? So,
  349. 10:17there's only a limited amount of people
  350. 10:18that we can have in our Zoom call, so
  351. 10:20click that link to secure your seat. And
  352. 10:22we're going to be teaching you
  353. 10:23step-by-step, even if you're a total
  354. 10:24beginner, exactly how to pick your
  355. 10:26niche, pick the right video ideas, make
  356. 10:28the videos very easily, and actually
  357. 10:31monetize your YouTube channel. Right?
  358. 10:32So, if that sounds like something that
  359. 10:34you're interested in, click the that
  360. 10:35first link in the description in the pin
  361. 10:36comment below, and I'll be there
  362. 10:37answering questions before, during, and
  363. 10:39after the presentation. So, I look
  364. 10:40forward to seeing you there. Oh, and by
  365. 10:42the way, I'll be giving away a niche
  366. 10:44validator AI that we spent thousands of
  367. 10:46hours split testing and working on
  368. 10:48that's basically going to help you pick
  369. 10:50your niche in the first place if you
  370. 10:51don't have one, or if you already have
  371. 10:53one, it's going to help you make your
  372. 10:54niche 10 times better. So, do not miss
  373. 10:56out on this. It's a completely free tool
  374. 10:57and a completely free event, and we look
  375. 10:59forward to seeing you there. All right,
  376. 11:00next is a land surveyor, and here's
  377. 11:03another quietly good one. So, PropLogics
  378. 11:05reported that there are simply more
  379. 11:07survey jobs than there are surveyors,
  380. 11:09and there's about 65,000 people in the
  381. 11:11field, but only about 9,000 are 34 or
  382. 11:14younger. So, the whole profession is
  383. 11:16aging towards retirement with almost
  384. 11:18nobody behind them. And Section 11
  385. 11:20Outdoors has a day in the life of a land
  386. 11:22surveyor at around 120,000 views, and it
  387. 11:24gives you a really clear look at the
  388. 11:26field work. And this job, by the way,
  389. 11:28these are basically the people who
  390. 11:29measure and map out the land before
  391. 11:31anything else ever gets built on it. And
  392. 11:33what I like about this guy is he's just
  393. 11:34documenting his day-to-day to different
  394. 11:36sites and properties and talking about
  395. 11:39specific properties or specific parts of
  396. 11:40the job. Just like one of my community
  397. 11:42members who talks about downsizing your
  398. 11:44house. So, one of our community members
  399. 11:45is Weldon Hobbs and his whole channel is
  400. 11:47about downsizing and helping people over
  401. 11:4950 figure out the house before the house
  402. 11:51figures them out. And he now has three
  403. 11:52videos that have gotten over 100,000
  404. 11:54views. So, you're already in the attic,
  405. 11:56already in the crawl space, already
  406. 11:57photographing everything wrong with the
  407. 11:59place. So, turn the camera on and the
  408. 12:01same walk-through can pay twice. Now,
  409. 12:03obviously, you have to do this within
  410. 12:04regulation. I'm sure there's probably
  411. 12:06going to be at least one person who
  412. 12:07comments, "Ah, that's not You're not
  413. 12:09allowed to do that." Yes, obviously, you
  414. 12:11have to follow regulations for this, but
  415. 12:13land surveyors make about 53 to 87,000
  416. 12:16dollars a year. So, yeah, there's really
  417. 12:17good money here. There's also just a lot
  418. 12:19of money in general in anything that is
  419. 12:20real estate related. So, we have a lot
  420. 12:22of realtors in our program. Weldon Hobbs
  421. 12:24is a realtor as well, but he helps other
  422. 12:26realtors downsize. We also have one of
  423. 12:28the biggest realtors in Montana, which
  424. 12:30is Craig. He's nearly 70 years old and
  425. 12:31he was posting on YouTube for years,
  426. 12:33just spinning his wheels, hardly got any
  427. 12:35views at all. Then one of his first
  428. 12:36videos with us popped off and got over
  429. 12:38100,000 views. And we have other
  430. 12:39realtors as well, like Adam from Austin,
  431. 12:42etc., etc. So, YouTube works really,
  432. 12:44really well for promoting all kinds of
  433. 12:45different stuff, whether it's teaching
  434. 12:46people how to do your career or selling
  435. 12:48houses, so teaching people about
  436. 12:49different areas and what they should
  437. 12:51look into when it comes to buying or
  438. 12:52selling a house, etc., etc. All right,
  439. 12:54so the next one is going to be a diesel
  440. 12:57mechanic or there's a lot of just
  441. 12:58mechanic in general jobs out there. Now,
  442. 13:00you might be thinking, "Well, Shane, you
  443. 13:02know, I'm not a mechanic. I can't do
  444. 13:04this." Well, if you're someone who's a
  445. 13:05bit handy, there's a lot of simpler jobs
  446. 13:07that involve this sort of thing that
  447. 13:08don't require you to be like a fully
  448. 13:10fledged mechanic that you can get into.
  449. 13:11And we'll get into that here in a
  450. 13:12minute. But, Transport Topics reported
  451. 13:14that 65.5% of diesel shops were
  452. 13:17understaffed in 2025 with an average
  453. 13:19about 19% of their tech positions
  454. 13:21sitting empty. And two-thirds of shops
  455. 13:24can't fully staff up. And that same
  456. 13:25Transport Topics article blames the
  457. 13:27shortage on the graying of the workforce
  458. 13:29and a tsunami of retirements. And the
  459. 13:31job has changed. Heavy duty trucking
  460. 13:33reported that technicians now use
  461. 13:35computer software to find and fix
  462. 13:36problems. So a lot of the work is
  463. 13:38diagnosing, not just muscle. So the
  464. 13:40industry even wrote an official
  465. 13:41guideline for mentor programs down to
  466. 13:44how mentors get paid. So your experience
  467. 13:46is worth money here. So everything but
  468. 13:48that has a day in the life of a heavy
  469. 13:49diesel mechanic at around 306,000 views.
  470. 13:52Real gritty footage of the actual work.
  471. 13:54And in this job these are basically the
  472. 13:56people who repair the big diesel engines
  473. 13:57in semi trucks, buses, and heavy
  474. 13:59equipment. And diesel mechanics make
  475. 14:00about 54 to 77,000 dollars a year. Now,
  476. 14:04you knew this was coming. Scotty Kilmer
  477. 14:06made a YouTube channel. He's got over 6
  478. 14:07million subscribers and he made over 24
  479. 14:10million dollars on YouTube just
  480. 14:11literally talking about what he learned
  481. 14:13as a mechanic, stuff that was common
  482. 14:14sense to him. And as a 70-year-old, he
  483. 14:16made more in one month than he made in
  484. 14:18his entire career as a mechanic. So
  485. 14:20yeah, you can learn the skill, get into
  486. 14:21the job, and then just teach the skill
  487. 14:23on YouTube. But there's really only a
  488. 14:25specific way of teaching the skill that
  489. 14:27I recommend that almost nobody else does
  490. 14:29correctly. And it's called the hybrid
  491. 14:30personal brand method. And that's what
  492. 14:32I'm going to be teaching you in the live
  493. 14:33training that I'm doing this week. So
  494. 14:35click that first link in the description
  495. 14:36and pin comment below. And that's the
  496. 14:37exact method that Scotty Kilmer uses.
  497. 14:39And by the way, there's also YouTube
  498. 14:41channels about repairing boat engines,
  499. 14:43right? So there's a guy who basically
  500. 14:45talks full-time about repairing boat
  501. 14:47engines and sometimes they'll even buy
  502. 14:48engines and then flip them. And boat
  503. 14:50engines are a specialty type of engine
  504. 14:52that's a bit different than diesel
  505. 14:53engines or normal gas engines, etc.,
  506. 14:56etc. Right? So you could just get really
  507. 14:58good at repairing boat engines or moped
  508. 15:00engines or something along those lines
  509. 15:02and just specialize in that. And next is
  510. 15:03going to be digital marketing. And I
  511. 15:05know what you're thinking, "Shane,
  512. 15:07digital marketing? I'm older. I'm not
  513. 15:10tech-savvy. There's no way I could do
  514. 15:11this." Now, the truth is for many
  515. 15:12different people out there, that's true.
  516. 15:14There's a lot of digital
  517. 15:15marketing-related careers that are very
  518. 15:16technical. But I'm going to tell you how
  519. 15:17to pick the right one where being
  520. 15:1950-plus actually helps you. Just like it
  521. 15:21helped Brian. Now, 45% of marketing
  522. 15:23leaders say that finding skilled people
  523. 15:25is harder than it was a year ago. And
  524. 15:26there were 64,900 digital marketing job
  525. 15:29postings in 2025 alone. And it's even
  526. 15:31mentioned here that more than half of
  527. 15:33marketing and creative leaders say that
  528. 15:34these skilled shortages have caused
  529. 15:36project delays in the past year. And
  530. 15:38some even report that projects have been
  531. 15:40canceled entirely. And here's the over
  532. 15:4250 advantage that nobody talked about.
  533. 15:44So, AARP says that people 55 and older
  534. 15:46control 70% of all the personal wealth
  535. 15:48in the United States. We mentioned that
  536. 15:49before. But the average creative person
  537. 15:51in advertising is only 28 years old. So,
  538. 15:53the customers with the money are your
  539. 15:54age and the people trying to sell them
  540. 15:55are in their 20s. So, companies need a
  541. 15:57marketer who understands the person
  542. 15:59holding the wallet and that is you. I
  543. 16:01actually interviewed a guy named Brian
  544. 16:03on my channel. He's one of my community
  545. 16:04members and he was 59 years old and he'd
  546. 16:06worked at an airport for his entire
  547. 16:08career. And he was getting pretty close
  548. 16:09to retirement, but he wanted a job that
  549. 16:11he could work that wouldn't be nearly as
  550. 16:12demanding as his old job. So, he pivoted
  551. 16:15into digital marketing. And the first
  552. 16:16week that he sent out resumes with our
  553. 16:18system, we helped him get a job offer.
  554. 16:20And the call came while he was on
  555. 16:21vacation in Croatia. It's fully remote
  556. 16:23and he got his first raise 4 months in.
  557. 16:25And in his words, he says, "It's not a
  558. 16:27high-stress job and it pays very well."
  559. 16:29So, he doesn't have to work at Home
  560. 16:31Depot or whatever else random websites
  561. 16:33tell old people to do.
  562. 16:35>> Uh
  563. 16:35it's not a high-stress job and it pays
  564. 16:37very well. So, you know, I don't have
  565. 16:39to, you know, work at Home Depot or, you
  566. 16:42know, whatever else else it is that the
  567. 16:44old people do when they, quote-unquote,
  568. 16:46retire.
  569. 16:46>> And in this job, it actually helps him
  570. 16:48because the particular company that he
  571. 16:49was working with, a lot of their
  572. 16:50products they do sell to older people.
  573. 16:52And so, as someone who's 50-plus
  574. 16:54himself, it's significantly easier for
  575. 16:56him to understand the psychology and
  576. 16:58like what older people actually want.
  577. 17:00Right? So, in that particular job, this
  578. 17:02was a superpower. Now, there is a
  579. 17:03plethora of different digital marketing
  580. 17:05jobs out there and there's no way I
  581. 17:06could even list all of them in this
  582. 17:08video. With that being said, digital
  583. 17:09marketing specialists in general make
  584. 17:11about $57 to $95,000 a year. And my
  585. 17:14business partners and I have helped a
  586. 17:15lot of people get into digital
  587. 17:17marketing. There is massive variance in
  588. 17:19our community, all the way from people
  589. 17:20who start off at like 40,000 a year, all
  590. 17:22the way to people who have experience
  591. 17:23making over $500,000 a year. And then
  592. 17:26people even starting their own
  593. 17:27businesses and making over a million a
  594. 17:28year, right? We've seen it all in our
  595. 17:29community.
  596. 17:30>> So, there's a secret side of my business
  597. 17:31that most of you have no idea exists.
  598. 17:33And I actually have a coaching program
  599. 17:35on personal branding and growing on
  600. 17:37YouTube and making money on YouTube.
  601. 17:38This is good for complete beginners,
  602. 17:40maybe even people who just want to get a
  603. 17:41job by growing their personal brand, as
  604. 17:43well as business owners, all the way up
  605. 17:45to people who are very advanced on
  606. 17:46YouTube. And they get to work directly
  607. 17:48with myself and my team to help them
  608. 17:50reach their goals. Now, we are opening
  609. 17:52up three to five spots, and this is
  610. 17:53pretty rare. We usually don't have these
  611. 17:55open. We usually only limit them to a
  612. 17:56select amount of people as well, but
  613. 17:58we're opening up three to five spots.
  614. 17:59And you can check those down the
  615. 18:00description and the pinned comment
  616. 18:02below. And in this program, you will get
  617. 18:03to work directly with myself and other
  618. 18:05people who are highly successful on
  619. 18:07YouTube. Everyone in our program has
  620. 18:09100k plus subscriber plaques. Just as an
  621. 18:11example, Sean was able to go all the way
  622. 18:13from being stuck, not making very much
  623. 18:14money on his channel, to making over
  624. 18:16$500,000 in a single month. Now, that's
  625. 18:18an example of one of my more advanced
  626. 18:19students, but there are lots of examples
  627. 18:21of people starting off from scratch. And
  628. 18:23they got to 5k a month or 10k a month,
  629. 18:25etc. So, check that out down the
  630. 18:26description and the pinned comment
  631. 18:27below. And I look forward to working
  632. 18:29with you and see if you're a good fit to
  633. 18:30work together.
  634. 18:31>> Now, with that being said, marketing is
  635. 18:33a very important skill set. Digital
  636. 18:35marketing, obviously, is the best way to
  637. 18:37do marketing now because you can reach
  638. 18:39so many people and you can actually
  639. 18:40track everything. And also, if you want
  640. 18:42to check out a video on exactly how we
  641. 18:44helped my brother go from
  642. 18:45>> zero to a full-time income in less than
  643. 18:461 month, then go ahead and click right
  644. 18:48here and you'll see exactly how it was
  645. 18:49done.
