  1. 0:00For many architects and interior
  2. 0:01designers, the biggest drain on time
  3. 0:03isn't creativity, it's software. Every
  4. 0:06week, hours disappear into clunky
  5. 0:08workflows, endless file handling, and
  6. 0:10tools that interrupt your flow rather
  7. 0:12than support it. If you've ever lost
  8. 0:14half a day exporting drawings, hunting
  9. 0:17down usable DWG blocks, or trying to
  10. 0:19keep plans, presentations, and spec
  11. 0:21sheets aligned, you already know the
  12. 0:23cost of legacy CAD. In this video, we'll
  13. 0:26break down the top five Rayon workflows
  14. 0:28that will save you hours compared to
  15. 0:30AutoCAD. If this doesn't make you want
  16. 0:31to swap tools, I don't know what will.
  17. 0:34Check the link in the description to
  18. 0:35create your free Rayon account and use
  19. 0:37Rayon's [music] templates. Let me know
  20. 0:38in the comments if this made you want to
  21. 0:40swap or not and why. Now, let's get
  22. 0:42started.
  23. 0:46AutoCAD may be powerful, but its rigid,
  24. 0:48outdated structure no longer matches how
  25. 0:51modern designers actually work.
  26. 0:52Overwhelming complexity. Too many
  27. 0:55commands, layers, and settings turns
  28. 0:57simple tasks into a mental overhead that
  29. 0:59slows down even the most experienced
  30. 1:02user. [music] Disconnected tools and
  31. 1:04workflows. Designing in AutoCAD while
  32. 1:06presenting and styling elsewhere creates
  33. 1:08friction, wasted time, and unnecessary
  34. 1:10software costs. Outdated collaboration
  35. 1:13model, file-based sharing, exports, and
  36. 1:15version confusion make real-time
  37. 1:17collaboration nearly impossible. High
  38. 1:20costs and low flexibility. Rising
  39. 1:22subscription fees and rigid licensing
  40. 1:24make AutoCAD expensive, inflexible, and
  41. 1:27hard to scale with your team. Now,
  42. 1:30imagine a CAD tool designed around how
  43. 1:32people actually work today. That's where
  44. 1:34Rayon Design comes in. Rayon is the new
  45. 1:37gen web-based 2D all-in-one design
  46. 1:40platform built for interior designers
  47. 1:41and architects and anyone who works with
  48. 1:44spatial layouts, drawings, and
  49. 1:46documentation. From early concepts to
  50. 1:49detailed drawings, spec sheets,
  51. 1:50presentations, and mood boards,
  52. 1:52everything lives in this one
  53. 1:53environment. No jumping between tools,
  54. 1:56no broken workflows. Rayon is fully
  55. 1:59collaborative. You and your team can
  56. 2:00work together live, see updates
  57. 2:03instantly, and share projects through
  58. 2:05simple links. And up next, we'll walk
  59. 2:07through the top five reasons
  60. 2:09professionals are leaving AutoCAD for
  61. 2:10Rayon [music] and how making the switch
  62. 2:12is helping teams work faster, design
  63. 2:14better, and finally leave legacy
  64. 2:16frustrations behind. Okay, so what makes
  65. 2:19Rayon different? Beyond being agile and
  66. 2:21userfriendly, it's a one-stop shop for
  67. 2:23the entire journey from concept to
  68. 2:26completion. Here are the top five
  69. 2:28reasons that Rayon [music] will elevate
  70. 2:30your workflow. Number one, an all-in-one
  71. 2:33workflow. design, document, and present
  72. 2:35without switching tools. Traditional CAD
  73. 2:38allows drafting only, forcing you to
  74. 2:40switch software for ideiation, styling,
  75. 2:42and client presentation. Rayon [music]
  76. 2:44brings your entire workflow together
  77. 2:46from precise drawings to polished client
  78. 2:48ready visuals all in one place. [music]
  79. 2:51Seamlessly import and export DWG, DXF,
  80. 2:55PDF, and image files. Then redraw, edit,
  81. 2:57and refine without any friction. Combine
  82. 3:00technical accuracy with visual polish by
  83. 3:03customizing colors, textures, line
  84. 3:05weights, and typography directly in
  85. 3:07Rayon. [music] No extra design tools
  86. 3:09required. And share your work instantly
  87. 3:11with a single presentation link that's
  88. 3:13always up to date. So clients can view
  89. 3:15it any time without manual exports.
  90. 3:18Okay, so this is our template. Um, this
  91. 3:20is our one-off house. um that contains
  92. 3:24floor plans, elevations,
  93. 3:27we have our sort of design system, we
  94. 3:29have a variety of sort of milbert
  95. 3:30drawings. So I want to show you firstly
  96. 3:34these drawings are actually based on
  97. 3:35DWGs. So the DWG is brought in to um
  98. 3:40rayon. So we have a import button. We
  99. 3:43can import PDFs, DWGs.
  100. 3:45um they can obviously come into scale
  101. 3:48and then we have a layer system which
  102. 3:50will allow you to retain your existing
  103. 3:53um DWG layers um and then use the rayon
  104. 3:56tools to either um style those layers or
  105. 4:00draw over them um in using the rail wall
  106. 4:03tools zone tools. So I'll just show you
  107. 4:05that quickly. So all of our walls um are
  108. 4:08editable. They're based on styles. So
  109. 4:11styles is a big thing within real. And
  110. 4:13you can see here an exterior wall. I can
  111. 4:16go into this style. I could edit this
  112. 4:18style and say actually I want to change
  113. 4:20thickness. And you'll notice there all
  114. 4:22of those elements which are um pasted
  115. 4:25with that style will be changing. So you
  116. 4:27can see that there. Similarly with
  117. 4:29fills. So these are um pattern styles.
  118. 4:33So again we have a style here. I can go
  119. 4:36in I can edit that style [music] and I
  120. 4:38can change that to a solid, a gradient,
  121. 4:41um a texture or a hatch. So I could go
  122. 4:43in, I could change that to a hatch. And
  123. 4:46again, anything pasted with that style
  124. 4:48will update. To draw a wall, [music] we
  125. 4:51have the wall tool down here. Again, I
  126. 4:53can set my thickness. I can set that as
  127. 4:55a meter or I can change my units to
  128. 4:59millimeters.
  129. 5:01So you can see here I have my wall
  130. 5:04styles. Again, I can change
  131. 5:07the thicknesses and I can also add
  132. 5:10something called a zone. So, a zone will
  133. 5:12read the inside of those walls. It will
  134. 5:15create a fill and it will tell you the
  135. 5:17area. So, that's reading those four
  136. 5:18points. I can also name that zone. Um,
  137. 5:25and I can assign a color or a hatch to
  138. 5:30that fill. And I can also change the
  139. 5:32style of the text. So, just like you do
  140. 5:34with the walls and the zones, the text
  141. 5:36have a style as well. So, [snorts] I can
  142. 5:38change the size, I can change the color,
  143. 5:41I can change the font, and I can save
  144. 5:43that style as well. So, all very simple,
  145. 5:46pretty similar to what you're probably
  146. 5:47used to with AutoCAD, but the main point
  147. 5:50is that we're reflecting back styles. We
  148. 5:53can also use layers. So, here we have
  149. 5:55our layer tool. So, all of our different
  150. 5:57elements sit on different layers. So,
  151. 5:59our furniture, we have our zones, we
  152. 6:02[music] have our walls, and anything
  153. 6:04that's been imported will sit on an
  154. 6:06import layer. So, that's where your DWG
  155. 6:09um files will sit and they'll be
  156. 6:11embedded within those layers. And then
  157. 6:14within the floor plan, you can see these
  158. 6:16elements which are our blocks. Now, I'll
  159. 6:18cover blocks a bit more um in detail
  160. 6:20later, but in essence, we have our block
  161. 6:22library on the left hand side. This
  162. 6:24contains all of our um furniture
  163. 6:26elements um all the sort of features
  164. 6:29things like the kitchens the even you
  165. 6:32know people [music]
  166. 6:32things like that and they have front
  167. 6:34side um and top views so they're
  168. 6:37relevant for plan section elevation um
  169. 6:39and they all sit within the drawings and
  170. 6:43I can move them about as I see fit. They
  171. 6:47again have a style. So you know I can go
  172. 6:50into this definition and I can look at
  173. 6:53the line style and the fill style and I
  174. 6:55can change all of those as well.
  175. 6:57Alongside the wall types we can
  176. 6:59introduce things like openings. So
  177. 7:01openings will be things like doors and
  178. 7:02windows. Um so these will be uh placed
  179. 7:05within a wall and you can see there
  180. 7:07automatically cuts um an opening and
  181. 7:10that can be things for walls that can be
  182. 7:12things like uh windows and doors. You
  183. 7:16can see here we have a library of
  184. 7:17different windows and doors that we can
  185. 7:19use. Um and these can be adjusted as you
  186. 7:22um see fit as well. We also have sort of
  187. 7:24this the drawing tools. So line types,
  188. 7:27poly lines, circles, arcs, all these
  189. 7:30sort of traditional drawing tools. We
  190. 7:32have series of annotations and any
  191. 7:34annotation can be um reflected in a
  192. 7:37style. So again this annotation will
  193. 7:40have its own style. I can go in I can
  194. 7:42edit that. I can change, you know, the
  195. 7:44different elements. And any [music]
  196. 7:46um annotation that's um swatched with
  197. 7:48that style will update. And then we have
  198. 7:51our traditional editing tools like
  199. 7:53you're used to with um AutoCAD. So, you
  200. 7:56know, offset, fill it, mirror, shamfer,
  201. 7:59you know, even bucket tool that you can
  202. 8:01use to fill. Um [music] they're all here
  203. 8:03as well. And lastly, I just want to show
  204. 8:05you that we can change how we [music]
  205. 8:07view Rayon. So, if we go to preferences,
  206. 8:10I can turn on a wireframe view. So,
  207. 8:13that's something you're probably more
  208. 8:14used to um seeing in AutoCAD. So, we
  209. 8:17have our different line styles. And
  210. 8:19these are dependent on layers. So, the
  211. 8:21color is per layer. And we can also have
  212. 8:24um a grid put onto um [music] the
  213. 8:28drawing as well. And I can also change
  214. 8:31my units. So, I can have this in
  215. 8:33millimeters, centimeters, meters. I can
  216. 8:35change my area units. So, it's just as
  217. 8:38accurate as AutoCAD. I mean, my
  218. 8:40preference is always to have it in this
  219. 8:43more sort of presentation ready mode
  220. 8:44because you can see the fills, you can
  221. 8:46see the thicknesses. So, you're getting
  222. 8:48both, you know, the best of both worlds.
  223. 8:50So, you have the accuracy, but also you
  224. 8:51have that visual aspect as well. Number
  225. 8:54two, a built-in block library that works
  226. 8:56for you. [music]
  227. 8:57With traditional CAD tools, you're stuck
  228. 9:00hunting for blocks, importing files, and
  229. 9:02managing messy libraries. Rayon puts
  230. 9:05everything at your fingertips with a
  231. 9:06powerful in-app block system designed to
  232. 9:09save hours on every project. Access a
  233. 9:12shared cloud-based library with 10,000
  234. 9:14plus ready-touse blocks. Instantly
  235. 9:17searchable and reusable. Use block
  236. 9:19families that include top, front, and
  237. 9:22side views for your plan, sections, and
  238. 9:24elevations.
  239. 9:25Use smart and fast parametric blocks.
  240. 9:29create custom elements on demand with AI
  241. 9:32powered block generation directly inside
  242. 9:34Rail. Okay, jumping back into the model
  243. 9:37canvas, I'm going to talk to you about
  244. 9:38the blocks. So, as I mentioned before,
  245. 9:40we have these blocks already within our
  246. 9:43template. But if we jump to the block
  247. 9:45library, so within our library, we have
  248. 9:47a variety of different folders. So this
  249. 9:48is Rayon's library and it has things
  250. 9:51like bathroom elements, beds, bdays,
  251. 9:55coffee tables, you know, dining rooms,
  252. 9:57elevators, anything you would want,
  253. 9:59including symbols um and title sheets.
  254. 10:02So let's just have a look at um the
  255. 10:05basic blocks. And you can see here that
  256. 10:08if I wanted to bring in a sofa, I can
  257. 10:10literally click on that sofa and in it
  258. 10:12comes. Obviously, this is a plan view. I
  259. 10:16can also click in here and say open. Now
  260. 10:18there will also be within the rail
  261. 10:20elements a front and side view. So if
  262. 10:23I'm doing my sections or elevations, I
  263. 10:25know that if I bring in this sofa
  264. 10:28[music]
  265. 10:28in elevation and it could sit alongside
  266. 10:31my plan, these things align. It's the
  267. 10:34same style. It's the same sofa. It's the
  268. 10:36same size. So that's really, really
  269. 10:38powerful [music] in being able to draw
  270. 10:40both of those things at the same time.
  271. 10:43Again, this can be edited. So we [music]
  272. 10:45can go into this block just like a sort
  273. 10:48of family. I can edit the style. I could
  274. 10:51add, [music] you know, a color for
  275. 10:52example. I can change the line styles
  276. 10:55and I can come out of that [music] and
  277. 10:57then that will be updated. So I could
  278. 10:58make all of my furniture in these
  279. 11:00elements exactly the same. You can see
  280. 11:01at the moment there's this sort of gray
  281. 11:03tone to them. The other thing I can do
  282. 11:05if I brought in another element, you can
  283. 11:08see this little shape here is
  284. 11:11parametric. So let's bring that sofa
  285. 11:14back in. And one of the recent elements
  286. 11:16changes in Rayon is being able to adjust
  287. 11:18these parametrically. So this means that
  288. 11:22we can adjust the size of the sofa but
  289. 11:26without stretching it. So this allows
  290. 11:29the sofa to be adjusted parametrically
  291. 11:32so to fit your space um more suitably.
  292. 11:37And that's perfect. So I'll show you
  293. 11:38this nightstand for example. I can
  294. 11:40adjust the size of the table without
  295. 11:44stretching the lamp. So again, that can
  296. 11:46work really well. Um, and again, I can
  297. 11:49get that in front, side, and top views.
  298. 11:52So I can do the same thing for openings.
  299. 11:54So windows and doors. So let's take this
  300. 11:56door for example.
  301. 11:59I'll just place it into the wall. And
  302. 12:02then you can see here it has these
  303. 12:04little arrows. So, I can change the
  304. 12:07reveal [music] frame width of that door
  305. 12:10to fit the wall. I can also change its
  306. 12:12size. And you'll see that it's scaling
  307. 12:16rather than stretching. So, again,
  308. 12:18that's really, really useful for, you
  309. 12:20know, suiting my instances to its own
  310. 12:23situation. [music] So, I could justify
  311. 12:25it, you know, on the internal face of
  312. 12:28the wall. It will snap to the inside
  313. 12:30line and go from there. And again, I can
  314. 12:33go into that. I could change the styles.
  315. 12:36So, say for example, I wanted a dash
  316. 12:40to this. And now that updates all of
  317. 12:43those instances of that door. [music]
  318. 12:45And I can even save those block families
  319. 12:48to be used by other people within within
  320. 12:50my office. So, I can publish those. So,
  321. 12:52I can go to share, I can have share
  322. 12:55libraries, I can publish my blocks, I
  323. 12:57can publish my styles. So, anything I'm
  324. 12:59kind of setting up as a standard, um, I
  325. 13:01can publish those and they can be used
  326. 13:03by other members of my team. So, the
  327. 13:05last thing I want to show you is the AI
  328. 13:06tool when it comes to Box. So, we can go
  329. 13:09to the AI chat and I'm going to go to
  330. 13:12add files. So, this is a screenshot of a
  331. 13:15um, credenza that I was looking at
  332. 13:17[music] earlier um, that we could put
  333. 13:19within the living space. So, I've got my
  334. 13:21file and I'm going to go to go to tools
  335. 13:24and the AI tool allows you to do a
  336. 13:27number of preset things. So we'll
  337. 13:28generate image, generate tracing,
  338. 13:30generate product, stylize or create
  339. 13:32exonometric. So to generate a product, I
  340. 13:35can turn a product image or simple
  341. 13:37prompt into a CAD block. And that's
  342. 13:39exactly what I want to do. So I'm going
  343. 13:40to press that and then I'm going to
  344. 13:42press send. Rayon will be doing a number
  345. 13:44of things now. So you can see there it's
  346. 13:46removing the background, generating
  347. 13:48object representation. It will be
  348. 13:50drawing the top, side, and front views.
  349. 13:52And then it will be estimating its
  350. 13:54dimensions. So it will be doing all of
  351. 13:56those things just while I wait.
  352. 13:58And there we have it. So I've converted
  353. 14:01the image for a wooden cabinet into a 2D
  354. 14:03CAD block with technical top, front, and
  355. 14:05side views. Blocks ready to use in your
  356. 14:07CAD or architecture drawings. So you can
  357. 14:09see here I can insert the block family.
  358. 14:12Um or I can import one of the views. So
  359. 14:15let's say we're going to insert here.
  360. 14:19And there we have it. So that credenza
  361. 14:23could sit underneath the TV. [music] And
  362. 14:26if I was drawing a elevation of that as
  363. 14:29well, [music] there I have the
  364. 14:31elevation. So very quickly um and pretty
  365. 14:34seamlessly I have a representation of
  366. 14:36that furniture all from just downloading
  367. 14:38an image off the internet. And again I
  368. 14:40can go into this family and I can change
  369. 14:42the line style. So I could have it as a
  370. 14:44lighter gray so it matches the rest. I
  371. 14:46could add a fill. So I could say that
  372. 14:49actually this wants to be, you know, a
  373. 14:52certain color
  374. 14:55and then we go from there. Number three,
  375. 14:57turn drawings into data with smart
  376. 15:00properties and tables. Creating spec
  377. 15:02sheets in traditional CAD means moving
  378. 15:04to Excel or Google Sheets and then
  379. 15:06manually counting and constantly
  380. 15:08updating. Rayon connects data directly
  381. 15:11into your drawings so everything stays
  382. 15:12accurate and up to date automatically.
  383. 15:15Add custom properties to furniture,
  384. 15:17[music] symbols, surfaces, and other
  385. 15:19elements. Generate smart tables in just
  386. 15:22a few clicks, always synced to your
  387. 15:23drawings. Build FFN schedules, spec
  388. 15:26sheets, and material takeoff faster with
  389. 15:29real-time cost visibility and fewer
  390. 15:31errors. Okay, now I want to talk to you
  391. 15:32about tables and properties. So this is
  392. 15:35our um beach house template and you can
  393. 15:37see here it has uh an existing and a
  394. 15:39proposed floor plan, a number of
  395. 15:41different elements, pieces of furniture,
  396. 15:43interestingly an FFN schedule. [music]
  397. 15:46So I'm going to jump to our floor plans.
  398. 15:50Now first of all each of these elements
  399. 15:53um contains information. We'll start
  400. 15:56with the furniture for example. So say
  401. 15:58we're going to look into this chair. So
  402. 16:01this block, so this block instance
  403. 16:04[music] has a number of properties. So
  404. 16:06it has a material, a price, whether it's
  405. 16:09been approved by the client, yes or no,
  406. 16:11and a brand. [music] So say I want to
  407. 16:13add a property. So I want to click on
  408. 16:15one of these chairs, for example. Go to
  409. 16:17add a property and something like color,
  410. 16:21for example. It's a text element, which
  411. 16:23is fine. You can see it appear down
  412. 16:24there. Um, and I'm going to say this one
  413. 16:27is brown. Obviously with all of these I
  414. 16:31can go to here I can add that property
  415. 16:33back here which is now my tick list. So
  416. 16:35those properties exist across um those
  417. 16:38different blocks and then if I go back
  418. 16:40to my table
  419. 16:43you can see here I need to add a column
  420. 16:46to my table. So you can see here in my
  421. 16:49dropown it sees color and you can see
  422. 16:52the
  423. 16:54ones which are relevant. So again, I can
  424. 16:58then go into that's my brown one. I
  425. 17:01could say this one is blue, this one is
  426. 17:06green, for example. So that will then
  427. 17:09populate um and sit as a column within
  428. 17:12our table. And then exactly the same
  429. 17:14thing, I can then insert that table with
  430. 17:16[music] that new category included. And
  431. 17:19I can add that to any of these blocks.
  432. 17:21So I go to a different um chair and as
  433. 17:24long as I add that instance property and
  434. 17:26I tick I can say that one is purple and
  435. 17:31again if I go to my table you'll see
  436. 17:34that added there. So those are blocks.
  437. 17:36So each [music] of these blocks can be
  438. 17:38inferred with those different
  439. 17:39properties. Properties can also relate
  440. 17:42to zones. So this zone for example which
  441. 17:45is the floor of the living dining space
  442. 17:48it obviously has a fill. So, you know,
  443. 17:50it has a a visual appearance, so wood.
  444. 17:52Um, but it also has these different
  445. 17:54properties as well. So, we can add in a
  446. 17:56um price per square meter, what the
  447. 17:58material is, the lead time again,
  448. 18:01whether there's a brand, whether it's
  449. 18:02been approved by the client. And the
  450. 18:04really good thing is that because it's a
  451. 18:05zone, it will give us the area. So, we
  452. 18:08have a price per square meter, and we
  453. 18:10have an area, which obviously we can
  454. 18:12give a rate to. So rather than having to
  455. 18:14[music]
  456. 18:15um manually, you know, calculate areas
  457. 18:17and rates, we can have rayon do all of
  458. 18:20that for us, plot it all out in a table.
  459. 18:23[music] So for example, if I change the
  460. 18:25area of this. So I can double click into
  461. 18:27here, I can change this element that
  462. 18:32will change the area that will be
  463. 18:34updated in our table. Or even I could
  464. 18:36change the rate. So I could say this is
  465. 18:38you know €60 per um square meter and
  466. 18:41that will change it as well. [music] So
  467. 18:43let's show you the table. So if we jump
  468. 18:46over to our left hand side we have
  469. 18:47tables over here. So we've got material
  470. 18:49takeoff for example. Each of these
  471. 18:52different elements is obviously has a
  472. 18:53name. So if we look we've got public
  473. 18:56space which is here. You can see that
  474. 18:57that's highlighted because I've clicked
  475. 18:59on it. Um we have our area, our brand,
  476. 19:02our material, lead time, price per
  477. 19:04square meter. So [music] each of the
  478. 19:06areas within this drawing which are a
  479. 19:09zone. So the access we have its area
  480. 19:12what it is what material it is lead time
  481. 19:16price each of those appear in our table
  482. 19:20[music] and then I can insert the table
  483. 19:23into my sheet. So you can see here we
  484. 19:26have all of those elements and we know
  485. 19:28that they will be correct and up to
  486. 19:30date. And obviously I can put that into
  487. 19:32my drawing sheet for example. And I can
  488. 19:35do exactly the same thing with the FFN.
  489. 19:37So you can see here we've got an FFN
  490. 19:38table. We have even got a preview of
  491. 19:41what the thing looks like. So what the
  492. 19:43name of the of the element is, brand,
  493. 19:46[music] price, client approved, what
  494. 19:48that block looks like. And you can see
  495. 19:50when I click on it, it gets highlighted
  496. 19:53here. And I could go in, I could change
  497. 19:57the price. And you can see that updated
  498. 19:59there. And exactly the same, I can
  499. 20:02insert that into my sheet.
  500. 20:05I can obviously scale it.
  501. 20:08I've got my previews there. And I can go
  502. 20:10in and I can change the properties of
  503. 20:12those elements. So I could increase, you
  504. 20:14know, the size of the text example
  505. 20:17format there exactly how I want and make
  506. 20:19sure it's all up to date and calculated
  507. 20:21for me. And here's [music] one we made
  508. 20:23earlier. We've got our FFN schedule. And
  509. 20:27then in our paper canvas, [music]
  510. 20:30obviously I'm looking at a view of that
  511. 20:33from my model canvas. And that can sit
  512. 20:35on my sheet alongside some pertinent
  513. 20:38images of those pieces of furniture of
  514. 20:39the look and feel mood board. Perfect.
  515. 20:42Number four, collaborate with your team
  516. 20:44in real time. Traditional CAD workflows
  517. 20:46limit collaboration to one user at a
  518. 20:48time, leading to XREFs, sync issues, and
  519. 20:52constant version confusion. Rayon lets
  520. 20:54your entire team work together live in
  521. 20:56the browser, all on just one single
  522. 20:58source of truth model. [music] See edits
  523. 21:01and updates instantly as they happen.
  524. 21:03Comment, annotate, and tag teammates
  525. 21:06directly in the drawings.
  526. 21:08Share your block libraries, style
  527. 21:10libraries, and templates to standardize
  528. 21:12documentation across your entire team.
  529. 21:14Okay. Next, I want to show you how to
  530. 21:16collaborate. So, say this is my finished
  531. 21:19plan. If I want to send this to my boss
  532. 21:22or a colleague to review, um, I can
  533. 21:25share it within Rayon. So, let's go to
  534. 21:27share and I can put in their email
  535. 21:30address. So, I'll just use it with my,
  536. 21:32um, other studio email for example. So,
  537. 21:35I can click on here.
  538. 21:38I can press invite. Now, I can invite as
  539. 21:41an editor, as a viewer, or an admin. So
  540. 21:44I'll set as a viewer and [music] that
  541. 21:47will send an email to that address and
  542. 21:51then I'll be able to access it from
  543. 21:52there. So I'll just jump into that.
  544. 21:54Okay. So I've now logged in with my
  545. 21:56other identity. Um and I will go to
  546. 21:59shared with me. So models I can see here
  547. 22:02and then I can see that beach house
  548. 22:04model here. I can open that. I can see
  549. 22:07it here and [music] I can comment on it.
  550. 22:10So for example, say um I can measure. So
  551. 22:14I could measure an [music] element
  552. 22:16within the model space
  553. 22:18here.
  554. 22:20I could check a dimension. I could check
  555. 22:23an area for example
  556. 22:27here. Obviously you want to be doing
  557. 22:29that in the model space. So it's to um a
  558. 22:31one one scale.
  559. 22:33Or I can jump to the paper canvas and I
  560. 22:35can add a comment and say
  561. 22:40something like add storage colored to
  562. 22:45entry
  563. 22:46way.
  564. 22:48I could post that or I can add a sketch
  565. 22:53and say you know I want something here
  566. 22:56for example. [music] So that will be
  567. 22:59retained within rayon on that left hand
  568. 23:02side. um and my other self, so my
  569. 23:05previous self will be alerted
  570. 23:07>> [music]
  571. 23:07>> um to that. Okay, let's jump back into
  572. 23:10the other side. Um and you can see here
  573. 23:12I'm back in my original identity [music]
  574. 23:14and I want to jump down to comments. So
  575. 23:17you can see here Chris Simmons 6 minutes
  576. 23:19ago add storage cover to entryway. If I
  577. 23:21click on that, it will take me to the
  578. 23:23comments. So it's jumped from the model
  579. 23:25space to the paper space and you can see
  580. 23:27there I can see where it is, what it is.
  581. 23:30I can even see that sketch and I can
  582. 23:32respond. So I can respond in text. So I
  583. 23:35can say, "Okay, that's fine. We'll
  584. 23:38amend."
  585. 23:40I can even add a reaction. So I could do
  586. 23:44an okay. And the really good thing is
  587. 23:47that's all logged. So these can't be
  588. 23:48lost. There's a sort of track of sort of
  589. 23:50back and forth. So everything is there
  590. 23:53all within Rayon. And the other great
  591. 23:55thing is that more than one person can
  592. 23:57be drawing at the same time. So, I could
  593. 24:00be making those amendments here whilst
  594. 24:02somebody else is making a change to the
  595. 24:04rest of the document, which is really,
  596. 24:05really powerful. And number five,
  597. 24:07Rayon's builtin AI working directly on
  598. 24:10your drawings. Rayon is the only CAD
  599. 24:13tool with an integrated AI panel that
  600. 24:16enhances your drawings in real time.
  601. 24:18From generating aometric views from
  602. 24:20sections to turning handdrawn or scan
  603. 24:23plans into clean vector drawings and
  604. 24:25even creating custom blocks. This is
  605. 24:28what modern CAD looks like. Faster,
  606. 24:30smarter and finally built for the way
  607. 24:33designers work today. Okay. So now I
  608. 24:35want to look at the AI panel. [music]
  609. 24:37So in my left hand side there is AI
  610. 24:40chat. So what I want to do is I want to
  611. 24:42show you the section. So this is a
  612. 24:45section through um the beach house that
  613. 24:47we were looking at just now. Now first
  614. 24:49of all I'll just turn off the
  615. 24:50annotations, make the drawing nice and
  616. 24:52clean. So we'll jump back to our AI
  617. 24:54panel and to add content. So to add the
  618. 24:58image for example, [music] I want to add
  619. 25:00a screenshot. So the screenshot will be
  620. 25:02looking at my my model space and I can
  621. 25:05crop a window
  622. 25:08from here. [music]
  623. 25:09That then inputs it into the AI chat.
  624. 25:12Then I can go to tools and I can do a
  625. 25:14number of things. So as I mentioned
  626. 25:15before, we've got generate image,
  627. 25:16generate hasting, generate product,
  628. 25:18stylize, and generate axonometric. Now
  629. 25:21let's test out generate ax on aometric.
  630. 25:24So we'll click that and then we'll press
  631. 25:26send. That would then be looking at our
  632. 25:28section um and be generating an axo from
  633. 25:31that. And there we have it. So
  634. 25:34you can see that preview. I think that
  635. 25:37looks pretty good. So we can insert that
  636. 25:39very easily into our page and you can
  637. 25:42see there it's taken um a look at our
  638. 25:47section [music] extrapolated that
  639. 25:49understood the sort of depth the
  640. 25:51furniture that's being shown. [music]
  641. 25:53You know you can see the person you can
  642. 25:54see the umbrella. Yeah, I think that's
  643. 25:56pretty effective. So I can do a number
  644. 25:58of things with that. So I could click on
  645. 26:00that and I could do something like
  646. 26:02remove the background. There we go.
  647. 26:05So then I could overlay different
  648. 26:06elements and I don't have that
  649. 26:07background.
  650. 26:09Alternatively, I could do something like
  651. 26:11stylize it. So again, I could do edit
  652. 26:15with AI and I could do something like
  653. 26:17stylize, let's say, clay for example. So
  654. 26:20that will reference that image back into
  655. 26:22the chat, which you can see there. And
  656. 26:24I'm going to stylize that with a clay
  657. 26:26texture. There we go. Look at that. So
  658. 26:29again, I can insert that. You can see
  659. 26:31that it's kept the same, you know,
  660. 26:33exactly the same geometry. [music]
  661. 26:35And now we have that sort of, you know,
  662. 26:37that typical clay texture to the model.
  663. 26:40So rather than having the 2D line work,
  664. 26:42it has a texture to it. Again, I could
  665. 26:45come in there. I could remove the
  666. 26:48background, let's say. And let's test
  667. 26:50one more idea. So I could bring in a
  668. 26:53material, for example. So I could go to
  669. 26:55add files. So rather than add
  670. 26:56screenshot, we'll do add files. And I've
  671. 26:59got this timber texture.
  672. 27:02I can add this back into the chat. So
  673. 27:04you right click and you say reference in
  674. 27:06chat. And I can say replace clay texture
  675. 27:14with timber texture. Let's see how that
  676. 27:17gets on.
  677. 27:21Look at that. Again, I can insert it. I
  678. 27:23think that looks pretty good. You know,
  679. 27:25I can even do things like make
  680. 27:29image slightly
  681. 27:32brighter.
  682. 27:35So, it will adjust that as well.
  683. 27:40There we go.
  684. 27:42And I can insert that again. I can
  685. 27:46remove the background. [music]
  686. 27:50There we go.
  687. 27:52And so we have those those three
  688. 27:54elements. And the really good thing is
  689. 27:56not changing the geometry. So we could
  690. 27:58explore the model in different ways. And
  691. 28:01all of that is just generated from a 2D
  692. 28:03um section all very quickly all within
  693. 28:06the browser. Perfect. Rayon keeps
  694. 28:08everything designers value in CAD,
  695. 28:10[music] accuracy, structure, and control
  696. 28:13whilst eliminating the friction that
  697. 28:14slows teams down. With Rayon, you can
  698. 28:17produce and share drawings and
  699. 28:18presentations faster without jumping
  700. 28:21between tools. Use AI and smart data to
  701. 28:25automate repetitive work and stay in
