  1. 0:00What if the reason you still tight,
  2. 0:01injured, and low on energy isn't age,
  3. 0:04but the modern way you've been training?
  4. 0:05I used to grind in the gym chasing
  5. 0:07aesthetics, but my body felt broken.
  6. 0:10Constant shoulder tightness, nagging
  7. 0:12lower back pain, stiff hips, and no real
  8. 0:14strength gains. Then I started using
  9. 0:16five ancient training methods that
  10. 0:18warriors, wrestlers, and monks relied on
  11. 0:20for centuries. These five methods fixed
  12. 0:23my broken body faster than anything else
  13. 0:25I've ever tried. Better posture, zero
  14. 0:27nagging pain, real functional strength,
  15. 0:30and I feel 10 years younger. I've used
  16. 0:31them to stay competition ready for
  17. 0:33marathons, Hyrox, MMA, and boxing while
  18. 0:36working full-time and raising two kids.
  19. 0:38Okay, let's jump into the first one.
  20. 0:39Method one, deep squat holds and
  21. 0:41transitions. Ancient wrestlers and
  22. 0:43farming cultures used deep squats as a
  23. 0:46natural daily position for centuries.
  24. 0:48How it fixed me, it opened my tight
  25. 0:50hips, ankles, strengthened my knees and
  26. 0:52glutes, and gave me that bouncy,
  27. 0:54powerful feeling back when I would walk
  28. 0:56or run. How to do it? Sink into a deep
  29. 0:58squat, use small plates under your heels
  30. 1:00if needed. Hold or add smooth
  31. 1:02transitions by rolling into the floor
  32. 1:04and raising back up with control. Start
  33. 1:06with three sets, 20 to 60-second holds,
  34. 1:08eight to 12 squats plus transitions.
  35. 1:10Method two, loaded carries. Our
  36. 1:12ancestors carried heavy stones, logs,
  37. 1:14and animals daily. This one pattern tied
  38. 1:17everything together. How it fixed me, it
  39. 1:18killed my forward head posture, built
  40. 1:21real grip and core strength, stabilized
  41. 1:23my hips and spine, and made all other
  42. 1:26movements feel more powerful. How to do
  43. 1:28it? Carry heavy weights using a farmer's
  44. 1:31walk, suitcase carries, or bear hug
  45. 1:33style. Walk tall and brace your core.
  46. 1:35Start with three to four walks, 30 to 50
  47. 1:37m, and that's more than enough to get
  48. 1:39you started. Method three, horse stance
  49. 1:41holds. Used by Shaolin monks and ancient
  50. 1:44martial artists to build leg endurance
  51. 1:46and joint resilience, whether they knew
  52. 1:48it or not. How it fixed me, this built
  53. 1:50tendon strength and mental toughness. My
  54. 1:52lower back and knees feel much more
  55. 1:54stable and pain-free. How to do it? Feet
  56. 1:57wad, sink down until your thighs are
  57. 1:59parallel to the ground. Chest up, knees
  58. 2:02pushed out, hold strong and breathe.
  59. 2:05Start with three to four holds of 30 to
  60. 2:0660 seconds. Method four, rotational
  61. 2:09power. Our ancestors rotated constantly,
  62. 2:12throwing, swinging, dodging. Their core
  63. 2:14was a power transfer machine. How it
  64. 2:17fixed me, rebuilt my core strength,
  65. 2:19fixed lower back pain, improved posture,
  66. 2:21and gave me that athletic pop I hadn't
  67. 2:24felt in years. How to do it? Use a
  68. 2:25kettlebell or dumbbell for halos, round
  69. 2:27the worlds, or single arm rotational
  70. 2:29swings for wood choppers. Just make sure
  71. 2:31you let the movement flow naturally.
  72. 2:33Start with three sets of eight to 12
  73. 2:34reps each side. Method five, bear crawls
  74. 2:37and ground mobility. Ancient hunters
  75. 2:39used low crawling for stalking prey and
  76. 2:42moving across tough terrain. How it
  77. 2:44fixed me, improved my shoulder
  78. 2:46stability, core strength, and full body
  79. 2:48coordination. Areas regular training
  80. 2:50just completely ignore. How to do it?
  81. 2:52Start with simple walkouts. Stand, hands
  82. 2:55out to push-up position, and then back
  83. 2:57to standing. Progress to bear crawls
  84. 3:00when you get a little bit more advanced.
  85. 3:02Opposite hand and foot together. Start
  86. 3:04with three to four sets of eight to 10
  87. 3:05walkouts for 10 to 20 m crawling. Okay,
  88. 3:08so here's a simple plan to put it all
  89. 3:09together. Three days a week, 15 to 25
  90. 3:11minutes total. Cycle through all five
  91. 3:13methods. Start easier and build up.
  92. 3:16Progress every week. The old school gym
  93. 3:18grind broke me. These five ancient
  94. 3:20methods completely changed my body.
