- 0:05Glenn Ford what Mr Ford what's the best
- 0:08thing about being
- 0:12free I wouldn't know I I haven't felt
- 0:14free yet you haven't it hasn't really
- 0:17sunk in yet
- 0:20everything's no everything's still
- 0:23somewhat of a hassle still some with
- 0:26strange what's been the most surprising
- 0:29thing about coming outside after 30
- 0:35years
- 0:37technology everybody with these uh
- 0:40celling phones
- 0:41computers stuff things of that
- 0:45nature now as I was
- 0:48saying being arrested for a crime you
- 0:51didn't commit being found guilty being
- 0:53given the death penalty the death
- 0:56sentence it's one of the worst things
- 0:58anyone can imagine
- 1:01do you stay angry the whole time or what
- 1:07yeah no
- 1:10well you get angry you be feeling
- 1:14helpless but I never felt hopeless just
- 1:18helpless
- 1:20angry and don't know which way to go so
- 1:23I couldn't do nothing but
- 1:25waight were you angry all the
- 1:28time
- 1:31no I try to think of it at all I try to
- 1:34keep my mind busy on other things what
- 1:37did you keep your mind busy with I can
- 1:39read do art
- 1:41draw reading drawing playing chess
- 1:44playing sedio anything that keep my mind
- 1:49occupied doing things for somebody else
- 1:51making whatever to occupy my mind that's
- 1:54what I
- 1:55did there must have been low points I
- 1:58guess play a big part of that
- 2:02yes it was quite a few low
- 2:06points could you see was there a patent
- 2:09to them I mean but it
- 2:12was no well they would cause me to
- 2:15withdraw with into myself for
- 2:17months months and I lose contact with
- 2:20people that I hadn't known yes months I
- 2:23wouldn't WR anyone call
- 2:28anyone what do you feel now about the
- 2:30whole because
- 2:33after sorry what do you what do you feel
- 2:36now about about this way of
- 2:38administering
- 2:42Justice it's not
- 2:44Justice it's not I don't know where
- 2:47where the Justice come from I don't know
- 2:48how you put Justice in what happened to
- 2:51me but you know and in the Europe we we
- 2:56don't have um we don't have capital
- 2:58punishment here has it made you feel
- 3:01differently about your country do you
- 3:06think no I feel I feel the same about it
- 3:09it's still it's a good country just got
- 3:10some uh Twisted laws and Views and
- 3:15understanding and routines that need to
- 3:17change but the country is good I like
- 3:19the
- 3:20country what are you looking forward to
- 3:23most
- 3:27now to be reunited with my
- 3:31family to see my sons my
- 3:37grandsons I have family I've never seen
- 3:44before thank you very much indeed I'm
- 3:46interested in doing that soon
- 3:49as thank you very much for your time
