- 0:00These are three tips to make you a
- 0:01better athlete. Number one, one who can
- 0:04jump can run.
- 0:05You'll never see someone who has an
- 0:07elite vertical jump be slow. Training
- 0:09plyometrics has such a great impact on
- 0:11speed, acceleration, and change of
- 0:13direction. Do not neglect the power of
- 0:16jumping.
- 0:17Number two, the ankles are to the body
- 0:20like the foundation is to a house.
- 0:22Having weak ankles can lead to a lot of
- 0:24issues and hold you back as an athlete.
- 0:26I personally had horrible ankles which
- 0:28led to me tearing up my knee in high
- 0:30school. Improve your ankle strength by
- 0:32doing single leg movements and jumps and
- 0:34improving ankle mobility. Number three,
- 0:37strong core equals strong athlete.
- 0:40Having a strong core can improve speed,
- 0:42how much you can lift, and how agile you
- 0:44are.
- 0:45Don't just do sit-ups and crunches.
- 0:47Improve your core stiffness and dynamic
- 0:49core stability and you'll boost your
- 0:51athleticism.
