  1. 0:00An auto repair shop paid us $24,000 for
  2. 0:03SEO. We made them $2.8 million back in
  3. 0:0711 months. That's $117
  4. 0:11for every $1 invested. Here's the SEO
  5. 0:14strategy we used. This is a post from
  6. 0:16Sarveshosta,
  7. 0:18one of my favorite people. Sarvesh came
  8. 0:20on the podcast. Episode 872 of the show.
  9. 0:24how any local business can hit $100,000
  10. 0:26a month in 90 days with SEO, but most
  11. 0:29get it wrong. That was one of my
  12. 0:31favorite episodes all year. I loved
  13. 0:33vibing with him. We we talked for like
  14. 0:35an hour off camera afterwards. It was
  15. 0:37he's just so much fun to talk to. We DM
  16. 0:39all the time on X and he posted this
  17. 0:41banger and uh it's some it's some real
  18. 0:44inspiration for local SEO. So, if you're
  19. 0:46doing local, if you're out on the
  20. 0:48streets doing some selling with SEO,
  21. 0:51you're out you're hitting the streets
  22. 0:52doing some selling. Sarvesh is going to
  23. 0:54inspire you with this thread cuz when I
  24. 0:57was skimming it, I was feeling inspired.
  25. 0:59This is just it's good. So he says,
  26. 1:00number one, built pages that actually
  27. 1:03make money, not services junk. Not
  28. 1:06services junk. What does he mean by
  29. 1:08that? Their site had one generic page
  30. 1:10called auto repair services. Useless. We
  31. 1:13killed it. Then built high intent money
  32. 1:16pages like emergency brake repair in
  33. 1:19Dallas. Sameday service, honest pricing.
  34. 1:21People searching this are not browsing.
  35. 1:24They are already stressed. They want
  36. 1:26their car fixed today. Those pages
  37. 1:28convert like crazy. If you have
  38. 1:30purchased compact keywords, this is
  39. 1:31exactly what compact keywords my SEO
  40. 1:33course is about. It's targeting keywords
  41. 1:35like this using page titles like this.
  42. 1:38People who want exactly what you are
  43. 1:41offering. They just don't know that your
  44. 1:43brand exists and they are putting it
  45. 1:44into Google hoping to find somebody who
  46. 1:46who satisfies exactly their intent. And
  47. 1:49I talk about that all the time on this
  48. 1:50podcast. I just I whenever I see this
  49. 1:52from other people, I get hyped. When
  50. 1:54other people come on the show and talk
  51. 1:55about this, I get hyped. I'm hyped right
  52. 1:57now. Emergency brake repair in Dallas.
  53. 1:59Same day service, honest pricing. You
  54. 2:02see that? Exactly what I'm looking for.
  55. 2:04Time to convert. Number two, Saresh
  56. 2:06says, "Wrote local blog content that
  57. 2:08pulls trust plus rankings. Most auto
  58. 2:11shop owners think blogs are pointless.
  59. 2:13Wrong. We wrote stuff like how Dallas
  60. 2:15heat destroys your car battery and how
  61. 2:18to avoid being stranded." This did three
  62. 2:21things. It proved expertise, built local
  63. 2:23trust, pushed service pages up in
  64. 2:25Google, local shared it, Google rewarded
  65. 2:27it. This builds topical authority. It
  66. 2:30just shows that you understand the
  67. 2:31location. I I'll also say when you're
  68. 2:33putting up stuff like this, when you're
  69. 2:35putting up service page, when you're
  70. 2:36putting up these very specific service
  71. 2:38pages or blog content like this, please,
  72. 2:40if you can use real images, please use
  73. 2:42real images. Real images are just they
  74. 2:44are the best. Shows that you are real.
  75. 2:46It's great. Number three from Saresh.
  76. 2:48Fixed internal linking. The most ignored
  77. 2:51SEO lever. Their site was a dead end. No
  78. 2:54links between services, blogs, the
  79. 2:57homepage. That's crazy. We connected
  80. 2:59everything logically. Break repair to
  81. 3:01blog to homepage to transmission service
  82. 3:04to an inspection page. Google finally
  83. 3:07understood the site. Pages that were
  84. 3:09invisible started climbing fast. I had
  85. 3:11something like this with a customer of
  86. 3:13compact keywords. This person said, not
  87. 3:15even halfway in, I bought compact
  88. 3:17keywords 2 weeks ago. And this person
  89. 3:19had a major jump in impressions from 96
  90. 3:23to,600 in 24 hours. And the person
  91. 3:26bought compact keywords and said, "I
  92. 3:27applied some technical fixes. Realized
  93. 3:30my blogs were not indexing due to
  94. 3:32linking errors. I realized this by using
  95. 3:34screaming frog like you teach." Make
  96. 3:36sure you don't have orphan pages, orphan
  97. 3:39subfolders. Make sure things are linked
  98. 3:41to logically with a clear information
  99. 3:43architecture. I was talking about this
  100. 3:45with Jake Hundley. Jake Hundley does SEO
  101. 3:48for lawn care and landscaping local
  102. 3:51businesses. He came on the podcast for 2
  103. 3:54and 1/2 hours. Episode 900. Most SEO
  104. 3:57agencies are selling you stuff that
  105. 3:59doesn't work. Here's what actually does.
  106. 4:00He said exactly what Saresh said. One of
  107. 4:03the biggest levers is a clear
  108. 4:05information architecture. making sure
  109. 4:07that you and I I put out this was crazy
  110. 4:10to me. I put out a podcast not long ago
  111. 4:12about how you shouldn't have all of your
  112. 4:14pages directly off the root domain and
  113. 4:17some people in the comments like push
  114. 4:18back on that and I'm like no it's like
  115. 4:20you got to have a clear information
  116. 4:22architecture and clear interlinking
  117. 4:24helps Google understand the context of
  118. 4:26each page very good for topical
  119. 4:28authority very good for interlinking
  120. 4:30very good for analytics anyway okay
  121. 4:32Saresh number four Google business
  122. 4:35profile optimization most shops halfass
  123. 4:38this we didn't Uploaded real shop
  124. 4:41photos. This is what I was saying.
  125. 4:42Lifts, mechanics, jobs, no stock trash.
  126. 4:46Got 10 plus legit reviews fast. Fixed
  127. 4:49categories, services, descriptions,
  128. 4:51hours. That alone move them into the
  129. 4:54local three pack. Something that's
  130. 4:55really interesting is whenever you
  131. 4:57update Google business profile, Google
  132. 4:59does a full crawl of your site. It looks
  133. 5:02through every page on your website to
  134. 5:05see if your website matches what you put
  135. 5:07on your Google business profile. That
  136. 5:09consistency is so important. It
  137. 5:11literally like if you look at the log
  138. 5:13files, it does a full crawl. It's
  139. 5:15insane. Even if you change something
  140. 5:17very minor. If you want to learn more
  141. 5:19about that one, that was covered by
  142. 5:20Darren Shaw in episode 881. Local SEO
  143. 5:23master class gives like insane Google
  144. 5:26business profile best practices. Sarvesh
  145. 5:28as well on his podcast does it too.
  146. 5:30Number five, and we're almost at the end
  147. 5:32now. Built real backlinks. No Fiverr
  148. 5:35links, no fake press releases. We got
  149. 5:38guest posts on local blogs and auto
  150. 5:40sites. Did link swaps with nearby
  151. 5:42businesses. Placed links on authority
  152. 5:45sites that actually rank. That's what
  153. 5:47separated them from every other auto
  154. 5:49shop stuck on page three. Number six.
  155. 5:51Oh, I love this one, too. Stopped
  156. 5:53chasing big keywords, quote unquote big,
  157. 5:56and went full local. They wanted to rank
  158. 5:59for best auto repair shop. That's crazy.
  159. 6:01And Serves says pointless. We focused
  160. 6:04only on auto repair Dallas, brake
  161. 6:06repair, Plano, transmission repair Fort
  162. 6:08Worth. These keywords don't bring
  163. 6:10traffic, they bring phone calls. Niche
  164. 6:12down. That's the lesson. Niche down,
  165. 6:14please. It's so easy. And then when you
  166. 6:16want to go into new areas, go into it.
  167. 6:18Start going into adjacent areas. There
  168. 6:20is probably enough money in your area.
  169. 6:22Start going into adjacent areas. Spread
  170. 6:25that way. Last post from Sarvves. They
  171. 6:27were a small company struggling to get
  172. 6:29calls, living off word of mouth and
  173. 6:31random referrals. Oh my gosh, the owner
  174. 6:34was almost ready to shut it all down.
  175. 6:36Now they're booked out weeks in advance
  176. 6:39and turning away low ticket jobs. All
  177. 6:41thanks to local SEO done right. This is
  178. 6:43again by Sarveshostrava.
  179. 6:46Such a legend. I I would encourage you
  180. 6:48all if you haven't checked out his
  181. 6:50podcast with me, episode 872 of the
  182. 6:52show. It was so good. I'm such a fan of
