2. 0:02different nmn brands and i thought we
3. 0:04should go through this analysis because
4. 0:05it highlights an important point it's a
5. 0:08minefield out there with any supplement
6. 0:10so this analysis it was done by
7. 0:12chromadex which produces nicotinamide
8. 0:14riboside so let's go through the results
9. 0:16and what i really like about this
10. 0:18testing is that it's independent what
11. 0:20they did is take 22 nmn brands with the
12. 0:23highest market share on amazon and they
13. 0:25were tested for potency 14 had any men
14. 0:29content at or above the label claim but
15. 0:32here's the unreal thing 64
16. 0:35had any men content below the method
17. 0:37reporting limit or detection limit so
18. 0:39essentially they didn't have any nmn so
19. 0:42let's have a look at what these brands
20. 0:44were let's start with the good brands
21. 0:46because there are a few infinite age any
22. 0:48min appears to be quite pure jarrow
23. 0:50formulations is also quite good mac 10
24. 0:53pro health longevity and tonic so all of
25. 0:56those brands appeared to be okay in this
26. 0:59third-party testing but if you have a
27. 1:00look at a lot of these brands there's no
28. 1:03any men content that's detected now
29. 1:05unfortunately with this testing they
30. 1:07didn't have a look at two of the main
31. 1:09enemy brands so do not age and alive by
32. 1:12science but both of those companies they
33. 1:14don't supply the enemy through amazon
34. 1:16but it's my understanding that both of
35. 1:18those companies get their enemies from a
36. 1:20chinese supplier called effie farm which
37. 1:22is exactly the same to what pro health
38. 1:25do and we can see from this testing that
39. 1:27pro health does have a high purity so i
40. 1:29don't think there's much of a reason to
41. 1:31suggest that either do not age or alive
42. 1:33by science have issues with their purity
43. 1:36but overall this analysis highlights an
44. 1:38important point it's a minefield out
45. 1:41there with selecting a brand of a
46. 1:43supplement so whenever i consider a
47. 1:45supplement i want to see is it third
48. 1:47party tested so there's a fantastic
49. 1:49website called lab door and on lab door
50. 1:53they do test these supplements for
51. 1:54purity and heavy metal content and
52. 1:56remember with these supplements we're
53. 1:58probably chasing at best a one percent
54. 2:01gain where the gains truly come in for
55. 2:03health and well-being is great diet
56. 2:06regular exercise periods of high quality
57. 2:08sleep meditation and socializing so
58. 2:11please be careful with anything that
59. 2:13you're purchasing on the internet and
60. 2:14make sure to run it by your own personal
61. 2:17doctor so this is just a short video
