0:01with another video and we're here in
0:03consulate to look at the defensive
0:04setups across all four sites that are
0:07going to give you the best chance of
0:08winning the round that's all
0:09reinforcements all rotates and all lines
0:12of sight that you're going to need to
0:13set up the sights effectively now I
0:15think the conate rework has been one of
0:17the best additions to the pool it's
0:19taken a little bit of time to get used
0:20to it but I think it's an absolutely
0:21class map and it's got one of my
0:23favorite sites in here that we'll look
0:24at last not because it's the worst site
0:26but it's the one that people play the
0:27least anyway that's enough waffling just
0:30get stuck into
0:31it right then let's get started with CEO
0:34and meeting although I don't know if
0:36this was the same with old consol I
0:38don't know if anyone can confirm you see
0:39on the um Compass at the bottom it's
0:41called console office is it always
0:43called console office cuz we always used
0:45to call it CEO and everyone still does
0:46call it CEO but anyway in terms of
0:48reinforcements we've used seven the
0:50seven we've used are the right hand side
0:53of the bathroom wall as you look at it
0:55from the
0:56outside the right hand side wall of
0:59consult to meeting which covers the
1:01connector window as you look at it from
1:02this side obviously from the other side
1:03it's the left hand side the right hand
1:06side wall of the four meeting wall and
1:08we'll discuss why in a second oh the
1:10outside I nearly forgot that then the
1:12outside breach just
1:15there and over this side we've done the
1:17single wall that goes from
1:18hallway into break room we've done the
1:21right hand side that goes from break
1:23room into managers and then we've done
1:25the middle wall that goes from break
1:26room into admin now does anybody else
1:29just a quick question does anybody else
1:30always get Visa which is below and admin
1:33which is above confused because I call
1:35the upstairs Visa all the time and I
1:37call the downstairs admin I get the two
1:38call outs confused all the time anyway
1:41head holes and lines of
1:44sight I'm going to start over by the the
1:47CEO side and the bathroom side cuz I
1:48prefer playing this side so first thing
1:51is head holes for
1:54bathroom it's like this and this is
1:56quite simply just to watch bathroom you
1:57can watch it from this door obviously
1:59you got to be super careful of yellow
2:01but you can hold it from here can hold
2:02it from here it just means there's
2:03another angle that I know I feel like
2:05I'm repeating myself a lot with these
2:07setups but I always want to explain
2:08things fully the reason we do it is so
2:10there's more than one angle you can
2:11fight a Defender from um so if you sorry
2:14you can fight an attacker from sorry
2:16weird defending if a def if an attacker
2:18jumps in here the only if there is a
2:20reinforced the only thing you have to
2:21worry about is this door if he jumps in
2:23now he's got to worry about the angles
2:24from the door but also this area here
2:27and bear in mind if the attacker jumps
2:29in here he gains oh she gains absolutely
2:32nothing like there's the putting the
2:33head holes here that there's I've seen a
2:35comment a few comments on videos that
2:37I've made where people say like oh well
2:38watch out with the head holes you don't
2:39want to give the attackers like too much
2:40of a line of sight into sight I do agree
2:43on some things but this one like get
2:45what going to be able to hold top yellow
2:47which is Defenders don't usually play
2:48this area anyway
2:50so from here another line of sight that
2:53I really like to do don't shoot the
2:55hatch in the middle shoot the hatch on
2:57the very left hand side and the hatch
2:58won't break but you'll make a line of
3:00sight now down below is the small box
3:03that jumps into piano so what you'll
3:05find is Ash for some reason loves to
3:07jump through the window here and then
3:09run through this door and you can just
3:10hold that from below there and it also
3:12doesn't mean that you're going to you
3:13break the hatch you know you can still
3:14play around here later in the round if
3:15you need to obviously if you want to
3:17break the hatch um later in the round
3:19but I think this gives a really really
3:21nice angle onto that door and I've got
3:22so many kills from people are just
3:24rushing up there straight away another
3:26thing that we haven't done yet but I
3:27will do is make a vertical line of sight
3:29for the obvious plant on CEO window now
3:32it doesn't have to be a massive amount
3:33of holes but just enough that if they're
3:35going to plant behind this boot case
3:37you're going to be able to see him from
3:38below um you can go all the way over to
3:40the window if you want don't really need
3:41to but make that kind of hole there
3:43obviously an impact grenade would do
3:44that a lot better than the shotgun does
3:46next Line's of sight oh this wall here
3:50and this wall here oh I hate when
3:53there's a hole in the middle right what
3:54this is for is to be able to hold far
3:56into meeting old connector window if
3:58someone's raling in you can hold the
4:00breach door from here you can also hold
4:02bathroom from here and you can hold the
4:03door to Long desk you can also come this
4:05way and hold top yellow or even come all
4:07the way around and hold this angle here
4:08this is a power position this is also an
4:11angle you can hold from here and being
4:13able to see4 over here or if you're
4:15playing smoke you can smoke this area to
4:16deny the uh the repel in this is
4:19arguably one of the strongest positions
4:21maybe the second strongest when you're
4:22defending this site I'll come on to
4:24what's the strongest when we go over
4:25towards admin oh I got the call out
4:27right I said admin not Visa but yeah
4:28here there's so many Les you can hold
4:30obviously of course this can work
4:31negatively as well if there's someone on
4:33the bathroom window there's someone on
4:34this door and there's somebody top
4:36yellow you you're in for a tough time um
4:38but the idea is from here you can just
4:39hold so many different angles from one
4:41position and it's a fairly safe position
4:43as well um there is an area where I'm at
4:46about now about now sorry where you can
4:48pretty much take cover from all these
4:49different areas you just got to be
4:51careful um not to expose yourself to W
4:53at once and obviously depending what
4:55level you play at attackers aren't going
4:56to push and like make an execute on all
4:59these areas once if you're playing top
5:00level ELO champ ELO maybe they're that
5:02organized but for for your average
5:05everyday rank player they're not going
5:06to be that
5:07organized uh next line of sight is here
5:11and this one plays into what we've just
5:13made over here so this means from in the
5:16middle of meeting now you can hold the
5:17door that goes into uh break room um as
5:20you can see this is the door
5:23here anyone that comes out a printer
5:25into break you're going to be able to
5:26hold on a nice angle from there but you
5:28can also go a little bit further back
5:30onto these head holes and you're not
5:31going to do it with an smg1 but if you
5:32had an ACOG you can hold it from even
5:35further back through those head holes as
5:38well really nice angle all the way
5:40through anyone pushing out a brake you
5:41can see it's just left of the brake door
5:43there that's where I was just shooting
5:45over into the admin side of the map now
5:48generally High relo players are going to
5:50play this area of the map because the
5:52push is generally going to come from
5:53admin across what they'll try and do is
5:55take control of admin break and printer
5:57and then eventually try and plant here
5:59with someone holding across onto like
6:01here and here so you definitely need to
6:03hold this area of the map and what I
6:05tend to do is I and this is Up For
6:08Debate because this room here this break
6:10room area has got so many different like
6:13potential lines of sight that you can
6:15create and ways you can hold it I can
6:18hear
6:18like I can hear someone laughing or
6:21something did you hear that in the
6:22microphone then
6:23maybe maybe it was a dog barking next
6:26door I feel like I just hang on I'm
6:27freaked out now wait a minute let me
6:29just my headphone off I can't hear
6:31anything I feel like I just heard like a
6:33dog barking or something anyway move on
6:35so oh by the way you saw little Easter
6:37egg you see this toaster here you can't
6:38see in the toaster if you shoot it so it
6:41says cppy toast at that cap toast baby
6:45little Str for you titanium roll thank
6:48you so yeah this area here you you need
6:50to hold this obviously you can see four
6:52over the top or you can see the oh I
6:53didn't mean to throw that my apologies
6:55over there and etc etc um this area here
6:59is massively important to hold as you
7:01can see this has got no soft walls in if
7:03someone comes on printer window or this
7:05is called copy as well on copy window he
7:07kind of difficult to defend like as soon
7:08as you hear someone repel on here you're
7:09probably going to have to get out cuz if
7:11you get trapped here you've just got no
7:12Escape so if you hear someone repel on
7:14there then definitely Retreat a little
7:16bit but yeah around this area here is
7:17super important to hold now there's two
7:21windows on the far side of
7:24admin and I'm going to stand in about
7:26the middle of them and you can see the
7:27angle from each window that it cuts
7:30through the break room that we were just
7:32in so this window is going to be able to
7:34shoot on that angle this window isn't
7:36going to be able to get much because of
7:37this reinforcement so because of this
7:39I've seen other people reinforce the
7:41right hand side of break as well and
7:44they can reinforce that side I don't I
7:46don't hate doing that but I like the
7:48idea that I can peek from both sides
7:50here now this is an area of the map that
7:52you're probably not going to hang about
7:53in for that long you're probably going
7:54to want to stand here for the first
7:56minute minute and a half soak some
7:58utility kill a few drones
7:59and then back off but obviously when you
8:01do back off make sure the enem not got
8:03you cut off from the stairs and they've
8:04not already pushed through managers um
8:07when it comes to um falling back yeah
8:10you're just going to fall back to this
8:11area this is another strong area to play
8:13here as like the next portal call um
8:15around here before you want to try and
8:17put more pressure onto admin and you can
8:18use your own head holes you can even
8:20skirt back this way and play long desk
8:22until they push vending this here is an
8:24anchor position that you see played all
8:25the time in higher ELO cuz there's
8:27nothing you can do to get somebody out
8:29of here other than use utility you'll
8:30see a shield put across there and they
8:33just play behind this machine there's
8:34going to be like a couple of adss over
8:36my magnets doted about to soak up the
8:38utility and they just try and hold them
8:40here for as long as they can it's a
8:41really strong position I really need to
8:43stop reloading after every
8:45shot coming over um this side sorry I
8:48didn't go over there coming over this
8:49side the reason we make the um
8:51reinforcements on the left side here or
8:53on the right side if you're in there is
8:55because now as well you can hold into
8:57admin from that small box so if we make
8:58a couple of holes here you can see from
9:01a Defender perspective oh I always do
9:03that does anyone else do that I come out
9:05of here I turn right straight
9:07away from the defender's perspective you
9:10can now have anyone pushing through this
9:11door you can now hold from here as well
9:12so what you probably want to be doing is
9:14playing further back in break like you
9:15don't want to be right up against these
9:17walls like you want to be able to fall
9:18back if need be use this reinforcement
9:20as cover from this door I hold
9:23it put a bit of time and then get away
9:26it's this area of the map if you decide
9:28to play the ENT around you're probably
9:30going to die um but the whole point is
9:31to just take up as much time as
9:34possible back over this side if you want
9:36to try and um deny the default plant you
9:39can do that by being in this area here
9:41with a C4 launch that over the top that
9:44falls just nicely at the
9:46door or another nice thing to do and
9:49I've died to this so many times is when
9:51people drone through this breach once
9:53they've opened it you tend to just drone
9:54round to the left and look at the door
9:56if you just hop onto this table and tuck
9:58in here the amount of times it's
10:00embarrassing to admit but the amount of
10:01times I've died from someone just
10:02chilling here because when I drone in I
10:04just drone straight to the left I really
10:06need to start looking to the right a bit
10:07more um you could even like tuck in
10:10really tired to the breach as well nice
10:11little hide spot there and again if you
10:13want to stop anyone coming through the
10:14breach you've got this hole above to be
10:16able to see4 through into that area I
10:18really like playing this oh I haven't
10:20made these uh oh no I don't make those
10:21headles sorry um you've also got this um
10:24this soft wall here where there is an
10:25argument say there's no reason not to
10:27make head holes there cuz now you can
10:28hold on to the top of spiral as well
10:30which is a really nice angle again a lot
10:32of these things you don't really want to
10:33be doing with an smg1 cuz like this kind
10:34of range is not really smg11 range if
10:36you got an AOG you playing with my Lucy
10:38dock whatever that's a really nice angle
10:40because you can see right the way
10:41through to there obviously from an
10:44attacker perspective when you get to the
10:46top here and you come out to there
10:48you're going to be looking long desk
10:49you're going to be looking vending
10:50you're going to be looking into this
10:51area here into into bagette um which is
10:54no longer called baguette this is called
10:56secretary now but everyone still calls
10:57it baguette
11:00evil of France so that's it that's the
11:02top four I'm just waffling now aren't
11:03I'm trying to think if there's anything
11:04else I've not said we've spent 10
11:05minutes on this site but yeah I I really
11:08like this new rework and I think if you
11:10don't you just need to spend a bit more
11:11time learning it because there's it's
11:13really well balanced map and there's
11:14nothing not to enjoy in my humble
11:16opinion anyway but what do I know let's
11:17go on with the next few sites when I
11:19found out the consulate rework was
11:20happening I woke up every day hoping
11:22this radio in the consolate basement
11:24would be destroyed or at least it would
11:25play a different tune unfortunately
11:27that's not the case make sure you shoot
11:29this
11:30radio I think that this is up there in
11:32my top three least favorite radios along
11:34with the um the Juke Box in clubhouse it
11:37sends me under we're down in the
11:38basement then and this is a busy busy
11:41site to talk about um we've spent 10
11:43minutes on the first one let's try and
11:45not to spend so long on the second one
11:46but we've used seven reinforcements
11:48we're going to use nine but I just want
11:50to talk to you about two more of the
11:51reinforcements first of all we've done
11:53the two main breach walls that's fairly
11:55obvious that's two we've then got us
11:57talk about it from inside Cafe we've
11:59then done the left hand side of these
12:01two walls that's three we've then done
12:04the left hand side of the security walls
12:07that's four we've then done the single
12:11wall from Storage into outside Cafe
12:14we've then done the sing I'm going to go
12:16all the way up there we've done the
12:17single
12:20wall in what's called secret or top
12:25electrical forgot to knife it and now
12:28we've got to run all the way over to the
12:30other side of the map and talk about
12:32piano and I'll do this very quickly I
12:34say I'll do it quickly I'll do it as
12:35quickly as mute can
12:36go mute is arguably the best op the best
12:40defender still in the pool for me I know
12:42fenri Sol and his army exist I still
12:44think mutes up there and the hatch we
12:47reinforce right so just a quick tip
12:49which is attacking related and not
12:50Defender related if this hatch is caded
12:53you can always open it with thermite so
12:57all you need to do is put your thermite
12:58ch on the other side of the wall here
13:02and be because the only the hatch is
13:05caded when the thermite charge explodes
13:07it'll open the reinforced hatch even if
13:09it's caded just a little tip there I'm
13:11sure you can actually do it with Habana
13:13as well if you put pallets across the
13:15bottom and then around the edge of the
13:16hatch I believe there would be enough I
13:18need to test that if you put them across
13:20the back there um and the same with Ace
13:22I think if you put a um salmon across
13:25the back I mean you can open caded
13:27hatches with Ace Anyway by putting just
13:29don't put the actual Salma bit on let
13:31the Tails of the salmer as such the legs
13:33go over the hatch anyway we're not here
13:34to talk about attacking so there's an
13:36argument to say some of these walls
13:38should be reinforced and I kind of agree
13:40to an extent but the reason I don't
13:42reinforce them is because it enables you
13:43to put pressure onto the attackers when
13:46they inevitably get control of piano and
13:48Exposition that one of the main things
13:50attackers need to do to win this site is
13:51take this vertical okay and if they
13:54don't take this vertical it's almost
13:55impossible well not impossible it's very
13:57difficult for them to win the site so so
13:59once they've taken the vertical which
14:01will happen cuz you can only have one or
14:02two rors up here and if they push with
14:04three or four attackers you know you're
14:06outnumbered you're going to have to four
14:07off or die so by leaving these walls sof
14:10this wall this wall and also this wall
14:14it means that as an as a Defender you
14:16can put pressure still later in the
14:18round if you were to come up here and
14:21impact this wall and all of a sudden the
14:23guy that's playing on the hatch doesn't
14:25know whether which way he's got to look
14:27similarly if you're going to come up um
14:29spiral stairs and you could shotgun or
14:32impact this wall and now you could look
14:34that way I'd all I'd be off tempted to
14:36just open these to begin with and as a
14:39Defender It's Tricky not to get caught
14:42out as a Defender but maybe as a
14:43Defender just sort of don't spend too
14:44long here get rid of a few drones and
14:47then just get out and then as a Defender
14:49now from here you can just start holding
14:50from outside the rooms that they want to
14:52take control of that might be an idea as
14:54well the only thing is obviously it's
14:55easy to get cut off from like Windows
14:57from pushing from Visa Etc
15:00so that's Upstairs Downstairs we've
15:02still got two reinforcements to talk
15:03about and it depends how you want to set
15:05the site up I'll show you both reasons
15:07as to why it's this wall we're going to
15:09talk about first so you can
15:12reinforce the left hand side of the
15:15wall just pretend that that Wall's
15:17reinforced now and that means that I can
15:19play in pipes and the long Corridor
15:21that's behind this wall
15:24here this side is now reinforced so I
15:27I'm in complete cover here from the
15:29breach and now I'm in complete cover
15:30obviously you can get vertical angles on
15:32you but now I'm in nice cover from the
15:33reinforcement here I can peek out onto
15:35the corridor cuz this will be soft and
15:37peek out onto here peek the breach
15:40really strong position here getting
15:41somebody out of pillar is not an easy
15:43thing to do however it then means that
15:46if you're here you can't really hold the
15:49breach from this side cuz this is
15:51reinforcement remember this side so
15:52you'd have to be hiding behind the
15:54reinforce here peeking like this and it
15:56means that if you're in this position
15:57you're stuck cuz if you go this way
15:59you're going to get shot from the head
16:00holes from the breach so you can't
16:02really go anywhere now the alternative
16:04is to reinforce this side so we're just
16:06going to pretend this side's now
16:07reinforced Pretend This is reinforced
16:10and now make head holes here and now you
16:13whilst this is reinforced obviously you
16:14can take cover peek here peek there peek
16:17here same yellow
16:19door lovely but the thing you can't do
16:22now is play here because this long
16:25hallway has now just got an angle into
16:26where your anchor spot is so you've got
16:28got to think about the way you're going
16:29to play the side do you want to play
16:31pillar and hold the breach from here
16:33hold yellow from here and then hold the
16:34long Corridor peeking from here cuz this
16:36one would be reinforced or are you going
16:38to play security hall play behind this
16:41reinforcement peek onto the breach that
16:43way and then if you need to peek along
16:45hallway just use the wall I personally
16:48think this side is a
16:51better um better reinforcement because
16:54playing pillar I think is better than
16:55playing here I think here leaves you a
16:57bit susceptible to getting pushed from
16:58the back or push them spiral um but it's
17:01completely up to you but I'm going to do
17:02what I think is my
17:06choice now I'm just going to make a
17:08quick we haven't even talked about
17:09rotates and lines of start yet but
17:11there's very few rotates on this usual
17:14rotate here on the end of Cafe and the
17:17next wall we're going to talk about is
17:18this so most people reinforce this
17:23wall pretend that's reinforced and then
17:25put head holes
17:26here which enables you to hide behind
17:28this reinforcement and pick the long
17:30callway the problem with that is
17:33attackers who generally have more
17:34magnified
17:36Scopes can get control of this area and
17:39when they peek down here now now they
17:41can see the head holes but it also means
17:43that if anyone if an attackers stood
17:45here holding these head holes that
17:47rotate can't be used anymore no one can
17:49come through that rotate cuz the head
17:50holes lead all the way
17:53through so all of a sudden the rotate
17:55which is really helpful to get around
17:57the site can't be used cuz you could be
17:59H from all the way down there so the
18:02alternative is to reinforce this
18:06side which will then protect the
18:08rotate and open this which means you can
18:12then hold the security door from here
18:13instead I do prefer that I think this is
18:16a nice angle to
18:18hold the only thing is um the only
18:21reason you're reinforcing this is
18:22protect the Roto um and holding from me
18:25is still a nice angle it just means that
18:27you've only got this bit of cover here
18:28obviously you've got this door to worry
18:30about as well uh it's still possible
18:32still hold that and hold that it's a
18:34nice little spot to hold another rotate
18:36to do is from here Cafe into
18:42security to be able to get across and we
18:44want head holes here as
18:46well so yeah you can get from Cafe oh
18:49head holes here sorry finally and again
18:52you don't have to make all these head
18:54holes it depends what level you're at
18:55and it depends how much you're actually
18:57going to hold and it depends what you
18:58teammates know as well um sorry I've
19:00just got a fly on me monitor that's
19:02annoying tell spring and Summer's on the
19:04way well Summer's on the way spring is
19:05here so this angle's really nice can
19:08hold yellow door can hold the breach
19:10also means excuse me you can peek from
19:13here if you want to as well if you're
19:14coming down security
19:17hallway um and yeah you can then peek
19:19each side from
19:21there and that way so that's how I set
19:26up downstairs one little tip I'm going
19:27to give you which I promise you will'll
19:29get you killed I Pinky Promise what def
19:33fact let me run upstairs and I'll show
19:35you what attackers do are we on 10
19:37minutes on this side yet we're on 8
19:39minutes okay we got time this is what
19:42attackers do
19:44right attackers drone out Visa come to
19:48here and shoot the cam right here there
19:50the first thing they do they walk in and
19:52shoot the cam right there then they move
19:54on so because they take half I nearly
19:58went down all Visa stairs there because
20:00they take half a second to decide to
20:02shoot the camera and to aim on the
20:04camera what I do and it works genuinely
20:08three rounds out of five is put a C4
20:11just in the corner of this hatch about
20:13that's fine if I go on the cam never
20:16mind this is a default cam as
20:18well did I go past it oh I just shot the
20:21default cam didn't I when I was upstairs
20:23what a plunker anyway you what an idiot
20:27anyway you can
20:29you can go on that default camera at the
20:31start of the round and when somebody
20:32comes in Visa you'll see them Crouch get
20:35ready to shoot the cam and just as they
20:36do blow your
20:38C4 and that's exactly where they'll be
20:40standing shooting that camera I can't
20:42believe I just did that anyway that's
20:44downstairs a really enjoyable site again
20:47the map's fantastic you're going to have
20:48to play upstairs to hold piano oh let me
20:50just show you I would I'm look I'm not
20:52in a rush I'll show you as much as as
20:54you want to see really but um I want to
20:57show you just a bit of an attacking tip
20:59I know this is a defending video but
21:00whilst we're here I might as well show
21:01you I didn't really know the vertical
21:05layout too well and I had to do a bit of
21:06research and go into some custom games
21:08and figure it out if you want to hold
21:10security hallway and the rotate you can
21:13bring a book make this angle here and
21:16now you see that's the security hallway
21:18there that's the reinforced wall that we
21:20made this is the door that leads through
21:21to site so you can hold the re the
21:23security hallway from here so and then
21:26also this side is the rotator
21:30that's the rotate they probably hold it
21:31from a further back right here this
21:32angle's better but standing on top of it
21:35so from here you can hold the rotate and
21:37you can then hold security hall from
21:39this one point like obviously this would
21:40be a book or a sledge job stand here and
21:42hold that now flip over and hold that
21:44and it just means that anyone who is
21:47when the plant starts going down on the
21:48breach which is where most people attack
21:50from on this side and right
21:53so B back down again I really should cut
21:56this out but I'm sorry I
21:59I don't always have the time to edit
22:00trying to work a full-time job here
22:02leave me alone someone said that on a
22:04video Once you know said oh um it's just
22:07lazy that you don't cut out all the
22:08footage I'm like mate I work 50 hours
22:10I've got two kids like I don't have time
22:13to edit the videos as much as I want I'd
22:14love to have the time and edit it anyway
22:16don't matter let's not rant so the
22:18reason I've just talked about that is
22:19what Defenders will do is they'll be in
22:21this area here and once the plant starts
22:22going down on the brdge they start
22:24pushing through and start looking at
22:25where you're planting behind the bom or
22:27going to push through later on and see
22:31where you're planting behind the bomb
22:32here but it just means that one of your
22:34teammates above can now hold that from
22:36this area and can then hold that from
22:39that area and it means that this whole
22:41line from there like all the way down
22:43here is completely cut off from above so
22:46if there's no Defenders Beyond this door
22:49Defenders can't get back through so you
22:51can just plant for free like you can run
22:53into here you can tuck in here and plant
22:55for free because they can't come through
22:57the Rotator and they can't come through
22:58security door cuz he's getting H from
23:00above took me a while to figure out
23:02where the vertical was for both of those
23:03um but yeah I think that's a really
23:05solid way of attacking and as a Defender
23:07if you're stuck like this side and the
23:09plant's going down not what you can do
23:11really other than challenge the ver
23:12anyway that's downstairs oh another
23:14other classic as well obviously you can
23:16impact trick here and of course you can
23:18throw I haven't got C4 left but you can
23:20throw C4 out onto anyone trying to get
23:22the bre open move on to the next side
23:24onto piano and Expo then and this is a
23:27better site than and I think people
23:29think it is um we've used nine
23:31reinforcements although we might use a
23:3210th here but we'll talk about that when
23:34we get a bit closer to it so to talk
23:36about the nine one from the piano out to
23:39the sort of top yellow area the right
23:41hand side wall of the small box area
23:43outside piano the double wall that goes
23:46from Expo into
23:49Lounge the double wall that goes from
23:51Lounge through into Visa or
23:53tells the left hand side wall of Expo
23:56out to the um Benes window um and we may
24:00do this one but again we'll talk about
24:01that in a sec then we go
24:04upstairs this used to be called Benes by
24:06the way there's no benches here anymore
24:08but everyone still calls it benches
24:09what's it actually called on the map
24:10West Corridor in Old consulate there
24:13used to be two benches there so everyone
24:15well I still go benches I think
24:16everybody else do as well then we come
24:19upstairs and we've just got a couple
24:20done up here we've got the main single
24:23wall of what you would probably call the
24:24main breach which goes out onto the
24:26balcony here and then the same like when
24:29we defended upstairs the right hand side
24:31of the um uh CEO through to meeting now
24:36just to talk about head holes and
24:37vertical and whatnot quickly we're still
24:39going to do the same thing we did and
24:41you're defending
24:43upstairs uh when you're defending
24:45upstairs to when you're defending
24:46downstairs this is still that incredibly
24:48strong Anchor Point from here can still
24:50hold those coming in from uh viser over
24:53there as well the breach also top yellow
24:56that side and that side and obviously
24:57also the C your window you want to play
24:59with the hatch
25:00open you've got to have somebody holding
25:03upstairs now you can hold anyone in
25:04small box and further around coming into
25:06expo from piano also then you can come
25:08around this side I'm going to drop and I
25:10didn't want to that's really annoying
25:11I'm just going to go back upstairs and
25:12pretend that didn't happen talk your Sal
25:14for a second what did you have for your
25:15dinner um I actually had a sandwich on
25:17the way home from the office cuz I was
25:19in the office for 10 hours today and I
25:20didn't have time to make dinner um from
25:22here you can hold anyone coming in that
25:23side as well like planting behind here
25:25can be common sometimes anyway so yeah
25:27you've got to hold upstairs just a quick
25:29one Castle is really good upstairs and
25:31this goes for any map really when you're
25:33holding above a floor cutting off areas
25:36with Castle is great every time so with
25:38Castle you can do the meeting double
25:40over there the meeting single over here
25:43you can then do the top yellow door
25:45there don't do this door make sure you
25:48do this door cuz you want the hatch to
25:49be obviously your side of the castle
25:51barricade and then you can do over on um
25:53coming from up from spiral as well that
25:56sort of gives you protection on the
25:57whole top floor somebody opens a castle
25:58barricade you're going to know about it
26:00if you wanted to not do the um yellow
26:02door here you could do the connector
26:04window or even the CEO window maybe it's
26:06up to you how you want to do it but
26:07Castle is incredible when you're holding
26:09above a floor so the vertical you
26:11definitely need to do is come to connect
26:12the window here and again what's funny
26:14is this on Old consulate this kind of
26:17used to be its own room and this used to
26:18be called connector whereas this isn't
26:20connector window anymore this is
26:21probably meeting window but I still call
26:23it connector window that's interesting
26:25actually I never this isn't connector
26:26anymore but I still say connector window
26:28anyway and this is the vertical you want
26:31here just a line down there which will
26:33enable you to watch this is the breach
26:35that goes to Lounge a really common
26:36place for people to push in and then
26:38planting in this corner here is really
26:39common you can make it closer to the
26:41breach if you want to obviously makes it
26:43a little bit uh harder if somebody runs
26:45in to get that angle as opposed when
26:46they run in you can sort of follow it
26:49across you've then got your lounge and
26:52front door vertical that's the front
26:54door just there always helpful to hold
26:58and then you've also got the vertical
27:00for the closet or small box jump
27:04in so now you can hold the window from
27:06above obviously you don't want to be
27:07standing right above it but you can hold
27:08that from above there now um and then
27:11you've
27:12got uh the yellow
27:15stairs window which is just here as well
27:18so you can hold that from there
27:19obviously there's a lot to be holding
27:20you probably want two of you upstairs
27:22any decent attacking team is going to
27:23know they need to take upstairs
27:25otherwise you're going to be able to
27:25stop them doing anything really um right
27:27back downstairs in terms of rotates and
27:30lines of
27:32sight we want a rotate
27:36here and you can open the hatch if you
27:39want to but obviously you're not going
27:40to be able to use the rotate if you do
27:42um this wall is a really interesting one
27:44so this wall I would potentially
27:46reinforce it but if you're a high level
27:48team or a team that's okay let me take a
27:50high level out that equation if you're a
27:52team that's coordinated this is the
27:54window you got to worry about right but
27:56using this rotate if you don't have this
27:58rotate you can come out of this
28:00door or this door if you're a Defender
28:04if not you're stuck in here you can't go
28:06anywhere so if you're in a 1 V2 and you
28:08know they're both pushing piano you have
28:10no option but to like hold this kind of
28:11angle or to come around here and hold
28:13this angle and it's pretty obvious what
28:15you're going to do because you're
28:16trapped in here opening this I don't
28:18think gives the attackers that much
28:20personally um but it does mean then you
28:22can rotate around to this way if you
28:24want to on the piano window or vice
28:26versa round into lounge and SP that way
28:29I like the Rotator but I get why as a
28:31Defender if you wanted to to um to
28:34reinforce it but I just think it gives
28:36you a bit more maneuverability rather
28:38than just being able to come out of that
28:39door or the one we mentioned in piano up
28:41to you how you want to play it um I
28:44completely understand if you said no I
28:45want to reinforce that I feel like that
28:47gives the attackers too much I don't
28:48think I'd be grud you but a line of
28:50sight here for small
28:51box just so you can hold the window for
28:53me if anyone jumps in also means later
28:56in the round if the push does come from
28:57this side in this door you can use this
28:59reinforcement for cover if you want to
29:01give yourself a different angle to hold
29:02rather than just holding the door or the
29:04rotate over into Lounge
29:07itself because we've reinforced this off
29:10it means you can play this area and you
29:11definitely should play this area you
29:13challenge onto the front door for me
29:15maybe even a Deployable Shield along
29:17here um but because we've reinforced
29:19this and you're going to be in this room
29:20you don't need to reinforce this you
29:22could even if you wanted to make a few
29:23head holes here to hold like this long
29:25angle out onto um like sort of mid
29:28spiral I guess you'd call it's or bottom
29:29top spiral it's nice little angle from
29:32there to be able to hold but yeah you
29:34definitely want to have somebody in here
29:35a good team will go upstairs and flush
29:37you out of here but you can like burn at
29:39least three or four drones don't get
29:41angry on the uh so angry don't get
29:43aggressive Aggie on the front door
29:45straight away and you've got to be super
29:46careful of um this angle let me pull
29:50this barricade
29:51down put it back off you have been
29:53spotted by hoses and if you're on attack
29:55by the way I can almost guarantee you
29:57this will get you kill around just go
29:58low on the door there and just hold that
30:00door if you're if you're attacking
30:02downstairs someone will come through
30:03that door at some point um but don't die
30:06to that as a Defender so if you if you
30:09peek the door and the barricade still
30:10closed you're probably going to lose it
30:12like you'd be peeking like down there
30:14you'd have to you have to pre-fire it
30:16it's not easy to do that pretty much
30:18covers the sight you've got to play
30:19upstairs you want to be able to move
30:21around a bit so you need those rotates I
30:23think it's a really good sight and you
30:25got the hatch to work in your favor as
30:26well the more I thought I think I've
30:28done this on every setup video and the
30:29more I think about this site and I think
30:31about how you can hold it the more I
30:33think actually you know what this might
30:34be a better site than some of the sites
30:36that we think are played more often
30:38anyway that's piano Expo don't know why
30:40I keep tap firing the smg11 for no
30:41reason sorry and last but no means least
30:44we get to split site or servers and ters
30:47depending what you want to call it this
30:48is a really interesting site and has
30:50been one of the most interesting sites
30:52for a while in Siege it's one of the
30:53only sites I can think of in the ranked
30:55map Pool in fact can't think of any
30:57others where the bomb uh the bomb site
30:59is split across two floors we got one
31:01down here in servers and one up here in
31:03ters so a new consulate this is still an
31:05interesting site but it's one of those
31:07that we talked about before where you
31:08must play as a five and you need to be
31:10coordinated if you play this with just a
31:12random five stack and you're so oq and
31:14you've got no chance so let's just get
31:16started with the reinforcements the
31:18first one we've done is up here in what
31:20most people call secret single wall
31:25there and as we come around this way
31:29we do the two we'll come into y but
31:31we've done the two end walls that go
31:33from construction into
31:35Cafe we've done let's go run back into
31:37the server side so you can see from
31:39inside server we've done the single wall
31:43that goes from Storage into sort of like
31:44the cafe
31:46Hall we've done the wall at the top of
31:49server stairs we've done the two walls
31:52at the back of towers that go through to
31:56lounge and we've done the hatch in the
31:58corner of Visa that's opposite the door
32:00we've left this hatch soft and we've
32:02left this hatch soft and again I'll come
32:05on to Y in a second so there's two more
32:08reinforcements by the way so what let me
32:10just talk about upstairs quickly it's
32:11definitely worth holding top four
32:13here definitely worth playing in break
32:16room opening this hatch holding down
32:18onto the door area there you can hold
32:20the window from here as well obviously
32:21any vert that gets Ma you can hold from
32:23here this is a pretty tricky area to
32:25play as we've talked about when you're
32:26defending top four all these windows
32:28that open into this break room area
32:29you've got two reinforcements you could
32:31reinforce some of these walls these
32:32walls what however you want to play it
32:34whatever makes you feel safe why don't
32:36we just drop the hatch instead of
32:37running down the stairs so that's the
32:38upstairs there what you can do with the
32:40other two
32:41reinforcements in terms of lines of
32:43sights and rotate downstairs want to
32:45rotate at the bottom of the
32:48stairs just to be able to get this is no
32:51particular line of sight just to be able
32:52to get around the site to be able to get
32:54around from this area here if you don't
32:56have that rotate there there if you're
32:58here the only way you can get around is
33:00if you have to go all the way around
33:02here all the way here through into the
33:05bottom of spiral and round this just
33:06gives you a bit more flexibility in
33:08being able to move around the side a
33:12rotate here from
33:14servers into storage again just for
33:17maneuverability you can now hold servers
33:19and then move around this way and hold
33:20this side if you want to and vice versa
33:22this Wall's an interesting one I don't
33:24really see any purpose in reinforcing
33:26though um you really get a lot from it
33:29um you can like even if you open a line
33:31of sight as a Defender you don't get a
33:32lot you can like hold bottom of spiral
33:34with it you don't get a lot from
33:36reinforcing that in my opinion so just
33:37don't bother with that wall just nipping
33:39back upstairs very quickly let's use the
33:41Visa stairs
33:42actually um the reason we did one hatch
33:44and not the other is you definitely want
33:47someone who is probably a bit of a
33:49gunner to play in this area here like
33:52around this bit here so holding onto
33:54this door holding on to the window
33:56tucking into here holding down on toward
33:58spiral holding the push from Lobby
34:00obviously you never used to be able to
34:01get around Lobby there you want this
34:03hatch open the reason you want that is
34:05you want to be around here probably
34:07getting rid of maybe two or three drones
34:09four drones soaking up a few flashbangs
34:11a few nades whatever utility you can and
34:13then if don't die absolutely do not die
34:15at this point uh which I know is easy to
34:17say and then once you've soaked up a bit
34:19of utility you drop back down to the
34:21safety of servers below now the premise
34:23of this site mainly is to play below and
34:25C4 above so the only place you can plant
34:28on the Upper Floor of the site is in
34:30here in tellers so what you want to do
34:31when it comes to setup is you want to
34:33start making holes on one the entry into
34:35tellers so on the teller's door here the
34:38only other way is the tell's
34:41window so now you can hold the door and
34:43the window from below so technically
34:45speaking nobody could be able to get in
34:46if you were holding that well
34:48enough then you want to start thinking
34:50about plant spots now what a lot of
34:52people will do on this site is plant on
34:53the desk so the C4 won't kill them but
34:55if you make um vertical hle
34:58in the right places I prefer standing on
35:00the desk to do it and making holes
35:04either side of the desk that
35:06way and that way and I know this takes a
35:08bit of time but trust me it's worth
35:12it and then that way when you come
35:15downstairs and when you're holding these
35:17holes you're going to be able to see if
35:19anyone's on the desk and vice versa you
35:22can see that way sorry that's the wrong
35:24way vice versa you can see that way onto
35:27the if anyone was stood on those desks
35:28you can see that as well obviously with
35:30the holes being there if you needed to
35:31you could throw C4 through the holes but
35:33C4 in generally is the way to do it
35:35although if like I say if you're
35:36struggling you will be able to see if
35:38anyone's crouched on top of those desks
35:40now Valkyrie is almost not essential but
35:43Valkyrie is so important on this site
35:45and you need a cam in talers don't put
35:48it on this back wallz it's going to get
35:49destroyed from Visa try and put it on
35:51this wall here um wherever you want to
35:53hide it in part of the light corner of
35:56the room is a bit obvious on top of the
35:57clock wherever you decide to put it even
35:59just down on the floor no one ever looks
36:00for Val cams down on the floor um higher
36:04up is better generally though you can
36:05then see where the plant is and then the
36:07coms from your dead teammates or from
36:08anyone that's on cams is going to be
36:10able to tell you where the plant's going
36:11down because you're only going to what
36:12what's the plant time 7 seconds so you
36:15don't have much time to react to the
36:16plant going down if the plant does go
36:18down it's a bit of a nightmare to retake
36:19so it's definitely worth um having a
36:21Valk up there if you can or an echo mro
36:23just any info you can use really um what
36:26else uh downstairs we need to talk about
36:28secret want to get a rotate
36:32here and the reason we do this is a
36:35couple of different reasons one if
36:36somebody opens this wall by the way
36:38definitely want to be playing like a
36:39mute um mute would be fine here actually
36:42because it's a single wall so wouldn't
36:43really make too much difference like as
36:45in you know if it's a double wall
36:46thermite it could still open it from one
36:47Jammer while if it's a single wo it
36:48can't um so yeah having a mut just some
36:51kind of Wen a here is it if this opens
36:54it becomes a bit of a nightmare it's not
36:55impossible it's just a bit of a night
36:57there cuz you don't really want to have
36:59to worry about this port to the side you
37:00can just play here and this is a really
37:02nice place to play to defend servers
37:04From Below you can watch the hatch drop
37:05over there can see the stairs obviously
37:07you got the hatch drop here you can
37:09stand further back so anyone dropping
37:10the hatch just falls into your Crosshair
37:12and it's really nice to play here
37:14without the added worry of this being
37:15open so try and defend this as long as
37:17you can don't forget if no one's pushing
37:20above um the window that's in Visa looks
37:23out onto that secret
37:26Bridge so if we we just nip over here
37:29obviously the breach is right outside
37:31this window so you can even like defend
37:34if someone starts putting a ace charge
37:35on here you can just shoot the ace
37:36charge off obviously you're probably
37:37going to get push from this door so how
37:39realistic that is I don't know you've
37:40also got a vertical that you can make
37:43here and then excuse me and then we can
37:45go below and hold that from below if you
37:48need
37:49to but you can already see from the
37:51amount of holes that I'm saying you've
37:53got to make and the amount of lines of
37:54sight that you need to make and vertical
37:56things you can hold below you can see
37:58why it's a technical sight like having
38:00those default the default plant holes
38:02pre-made there is really really
38:04important having holes like this here is
38:06really important you can even open holes
38:08to watch anyone coming through the
38:09double door find the hatch go to the
38:11left and that's where the door is
38:14there you can watch that from below as
38:16well um these walls we I meant said we
38:19talk about ear um I talk about later
38:21this we only reinforce these cuz what
38:23you don't want is an attacker getting
38:25control of this and then just opening
38:27the wall here and being able to cut off
38:28the entirety of that Corridor all the
38:31way down here you don't want them to be
38:32able to be able to be able to be able to
38:34why have I just repeated myself there
38:36why am I saying things twice why am I
38:37saying things twice that's one of my
38:38dad's old jokes um yeah you don't want
38:41them to be able to just hold that
38:42corridor from way back there cutting off
38:44all this part of the site yes they can
38:46come down this way and then come and
38:48hold it from here but it makes much
38:50things much more difficult for them
38:51because they've also then got to worry
38:52about this whereas if they can make a
38:54line of sight from back there they could
38:56even open this
38:59then open that and then hold that whole
39:03corridor from way back here like that
39:06would be insane to be able to cut off
39:08that part of the side from there now
39:10don't forget to shoot the uh radio oh my
39:13God I missed no I didn't that was comedy
39:17time in the front fall off the radio um
39:19if you don't use the two um
39:21reinforcements upstairs you can use the
39:23two reinforcements either on the breach
39:26or somewhere along these Cafe
39:28walls and then again do what we
39:30mentioned about destroying soaking
39:32utility wait for two or three drones to
39:34come this way if they push Cafe shoot
39:36two or three drones and then back off to
39:38the safety of Behind These
39:39reinforcements as well like one of the
39:41ways to improve it setting sides up I
39:44think is to treat them almost like
39:45layers so you want to defend this room
39:47until you get pushed back and then
39:49defend this room until you get pushed
39:50back and then defend this room until you
39:53get push back and eventually you can
39:55only get push back so far or they only
39:56have so time to keep pushing you out of
39:58these areas you want to try and create
40:00those layers and those problems that the
40:02the attackers have got to solve what you
40:03don't want to do is just set up the
40:05sight hunker down here they can take
40:08from the like the garage breach they can
40:09take all that then they can take garage
40:11then they can take Cafe and then this is
40:13your first contact with the Enemy this
40:14is your first drone you destroy here you
40:16don't want to be doing that at all you
40:17want to be a little bit further out
40:18obviously don't leave yourself
40:19susceptible to a hatch drop and a rush
40:21but you want to be just extending a
40:22little bit further out soak up a bit of
40:25utility and then fall back what you you
40:27want to do really is destroy the
40:29attacker's drones and utility before
40:31they get the opportunity to execute on
40:33site if you get to a point where the
40:35attackers are executing and they haven't
40:36got drones or utility you're pretty much
40:38going to win 99 times out of 10 well
40:40right that's split sight bloody fun
40:42sight and if you play with a regular
40:44stack of at least three or four I'd
40:46highly recommend learning this because
40:47attacking it can be Troublesome if
40:49you're not prepared for it so there we
40:51have it new consulate rework I say new
40:53it's not so new anymore just the
40:54consulate rework these days but I really
40:56really enjoy this m it feels fresh it
40:58feels it does feel new and I really
41:00really enjoy playing it and when it
41:01comes up in the rank po if any of the
41:03teammates ban it I am immediately fuming
41:05but that's why I like to set up the SES
41:07the split sight is a really interesting
41:09Theory to try and defend across two
41:10floors with a bomb on each floor really
41:12fun site and I think in new maps if if
41:15the map allows obviously if the design
41:16of the map allows I think it' be really
41:17cool to add that in as well cheers for
