- 0:01Let's talk about personal profiles and
- 0:03VK communities, because other goals—
- 0:05like messages or subscription pages—
- 0:07all go through the community. Let me
- 0:10show you what a personal profile is and
- 0:12why you need it. Well, let's start with
- 0:14the fact that this is my personal
- 0:15profile. Let's break it down by section
- 0:18. The first block is the name and the
- 0:20description. So, we add a description
- 0:23here. It is best to use your real name.
- 0:26Why? Because when you later link your
- 0:29community to this personal profile, you
- 0:31legally need to provide the correct
- 0:33name. Why? Because if any problems
- 0:37arise, like your community getting
- 0:39deleted, being hacked, someone trying
- 0:42to steal it, or perhaps being deceived
- 0:44by employees who delete something, this
- 0:47allows you to defend your position as
- 0:49the direct owner of that community. So,
- 0:52we provide our real first and last name
- 0:54, right? And what else can we add here?
- 0:57Of course, photos, clips, and videos.
- 0:59We must remember that VK is, first and
- 1:01foremost, a social network. Also, you
- 1:04can add friends on VK. Yes, you can add
- 1:07up to 26 friends per day, as far as I
- 1:09know; the number might vary slightly,
- 1:11but it’s around that amount. And
- 1:13people can also add you as a friend.
- 1:15What is a friend? Friends are people
- 1:17who have agreed to connect with you.
- 1:20That means either they sent you a
- 1:21request and you accepted it, or you
- 1:23sent one to someone and they accepted
- 1:25it. If, for example, someone sends you
- 1:27a request and you don’t accept it,
- 1:29they stay in your followers. For
- 1:31instance, I have 500 followers there.
- 1:33You can also post all sorts of
- 1:35different information here. You need to
- 1:38understand that all this information
- 1:40can be used against you or, conversely,
- 1:42in a positive light. For example,
- 1:45people can find me because I studied at
- 1:47this school or this university. I can
- 1:49also be found via my workplace. And I
- 1:51can also be "scraped" because I’m a
- 1:53targetologist. Consequently, if I’m a
- 1:55targetologist, people scrape me using
- 1:57various services because I work at a
- 1:59certain place, or because I listed
- 2:00myself as an internet marketer, and
- 2:02then they exclude me from ads. So, for
- 2:04example, I might not see certain
- 2:05advertisements. That, again, is normal.
- 2:08All the information you post online can
- 2:11later be used for various purposes by
- 2:13other people. Okay, what can we add
- 2:17here? Photos. As soon as we add a photo
- 2:19, we must understand that other people
- 2:21might see it. We can, of course, make a
- 2:24hidden album, meaning only you will see
- 2:26this or that photo, but the point of a
- 2:28social network is to present yourself
- 2:30properly—to tell a story, to create
- 2:32an image. For example, these are the
- 2:34photos I have pinned. And I also add
- 2:36various photos of what is happening in
- 2:38my life. You can also upload clips;
- 2:40they provide an opportunity to gather
- 2:43some reach, once again. For instance,
- 2:45this one here has reached 379 views.
- 2:47It’s nice that, once again, some
- 2:49people will see a clip. So, additional
- 2:52reach is the start of your free
- 2:53promotion, friends—some clips, some
- 2:56photos; all of this can be seen by
- 2:58people. You can also add videos,
- 3:02articles, and other informational
- 3:05materials. Next comes the post section.
- 3:09You can publish posts here. And again,
- 3:12all the text used here can relate to
- 3:15your personal life, your hobbies, or
- 3:18your official activities. What I don't
- 3:22recommend is creating a personal page
- 3:25linked to, say, "such-and-such
- 3:27furniture factory." That wouldn't be
- 3:31quite right; it's better to create a
- 3:33page under your own name and then
- 3:34create a community specifically for
- 3:36your business. So, you see, my personal
- 3:40page is specifically about me—like
- 3:42when I posted that I was in Belarus
- 3:44just three days ago, participating in
- 3:46triathlon competitions. Also, I
- 3:48participated in a run here, and here I
- 3:50visited Vietnam and shared my emotions.
- 3:52People can find all of this as well.
- 3:55Right. And there, once again, you can
- 3:57provide various information about job
- 3:58openings. For instance, I was looking
- 4:01for an assistant here, and shared how I
- 4:03visited Japan, and that I launched my
- 4:06own training course on my birthday—I
- 4:08told all of that here. Right. And you
- 4:11can see here the workplace listing for
- 4:13targeted advertising clients from
- 4:15VKontakte. And now we move on to the
- 4:17community page. A community is the page
- 4:20you create for your specific activity,
- 4:22and in my case, the positioning is
- 4:24immediately clear: target to the max,
- 4:26experience managing ads in 32 business
- 4:29sectors, over 200 individual
- 4:30consultations, and so on. We see the
- 4:33title right away. People can find this
- 4:36title, so definitely pay attention to
- 4:38what is written here. And if you have a
- 4:41local business, for example, in a
- 4:43specific city, rather than across all
- 4:45of Russia or the CIS, then be sure to
- 4:46include the city as well. This allows
- 4:49you to reach more of your target
- 4:51audience. Next, we have the reviews
- 4:53section here, and of course, if you
- 4:55click on it, you can see the latest
- 4:57reviews that people have written. That
- 5:00is, you can ask your clients, those who
- 5:03have just purchased your product or
- 5:06have done so previously, to leave a
- 5:08review about their experience with your
- 5:11product. Next, we have the menu buttons
- 5:13. You can upload anything you want here
- 5:16, but these must be links that work
- 5:18specifically within VKontakte. You
- 5:20cannot link to external sources. Why?
- 5:23Because external sources, like my
- 5:24website for instance, can be added in
- 5:26the description instead. By the way,
- 5:28we've already moved on to the
- 5:29description here. And in the
- 5:31description, again, you should add as
- 5:33many different keywords related to your
- 5:35business as possible. Why? Because all
- 5:38of this gets indexed. From an SEO
- 5:40optimization standpoint, this will
- 5:42later be found by people on Yandex,
- 5:44Google, and within VKontakte itself. So
- 5:47, make sure to write all of this down.
- 5:50Next, services. If your business
- 5:52involves services, be sure to add them.
- 5:55Also, add products if your business
- 5:57involves them. And next is your free
- 5:59promotion. When we talk about VKontakte
- 6:02, a social network, we can post videos,
- 6:05and they will rack up views. VKontakte
- 6:07will boost them and check how
- 6:09interesting your videos are. If they
- 6:11are interesting, they will generate
- 6:12even more views. Plus, more and more of
- 6:14your videos are now starting to show up
- 6:16on Yandex. While YouTube used to be
- 6:19actively displayed on Yandex, for
- 6:21example, it is happening less and less
- 6:23now. So, try to include as many
- 6:25different keywords as possible in your
- 6:28VKontakte videos, even in the
- 6:30timestamps, plus various links, and
- 6:33write them in the comments too. Why?
- 6:36Because it really is important that
- 6:38people can find you using all this
- 6:40information. So, you definitely need to
- 6:42do it, right? Not just through
- 6:43VKontakte, but also through platforms
- 6:45like Yandex. Okay, good. I've covered
- 6:48that as well. Descriptions, websites,
- 6:50add all of that. Subscribers—how do
- 6:52you get subscribers? A person has to
- 6:54specifically go to your page, your
- 6:56community, and click subscribe. We can
- 6:59achieve this using advertising. And a
- 7:01person can also do it on their own,
- 7:03without ads, by making that decision
- 7:04themselves. If you are a recognizable
- 7:07person or a recognizable brand of some
- 7:09business, if you translate and talk
- 7:11about your community on other sources,
- 7:14a person comes here and can subscribe.
- 7:16And if a person has subscribed, it
- 7:18doesn't mean that every post will show
- 7:20up in their feed. No, it means they are
- 7:24placed into some priority tier for
- 7:26these posts. Also, you can post various
- 7:31products here, as I said, and articles.
- 7:34In my case, articles don't get many
- 7:36views, but they are targeted articles.
- 7:39So, for example, if someone is a travel
- 7:41agent or an electrician, I can send
- 7:43them this article where I got 30 leads
- 7:46for 1,656 rubles. Or send them 205
- 7:48leads for 183 rubles for a travel
- 7:50agency. I can send that to them and say
- 7:54, "We worked with tours in Dagestan,
- 7:56these were our results, we can aim for
- 7:59a similar result and start working." So
- 8:02, for me, these are important targeted
- 8:04articles. Photos: again, I have various
- 8:07cases in my photos showing how we
- 8:10packaged a community, created creatives
- 8:13, and so on. You can do the same for
- 8:16your own line of work. I don't have
- 8:18chats, but I do have Clips. Clips,
- 8:20again, get about 400 views for me here,
- 8:22sometimes 100, sometimes even 600. So,
- 8:26it’s extra reach that brings in
- 8:28subscribers and ultimately brings in
- 8:30clients. I also have a button for
- 8:32targeted advertising training, for
- 8:34example; a person clicks it, a landing
- 8:36page opens, and they learn how to solve
- 8:38customer acquisition problems once and
- 8:40for all. For instance, I click "Learn
- 8:42More," and a chatbot starts up. So, in
- 8:45VKontakte, it is very important to lead
- 8:47a person directly to community messages
- 8:49. Like I showed on this page, there are
- 8:52messages and a subscription page. The
- 8:55subscription page is what I just showed
- 8:57, and the message option is when we
- 8:59click the "Message" button right here
- 9:00and go directly into a dialogue with
- 9:02the community. And we can communicate
- 9:04with the community there. For example,
- 9:06I have a client case here. We have been
- 9:08working for just about a month, a
- 9:09little less than a month. And here, let
- 9:12me show you how the interaction with
- 9:14clients goes. People write, for
- 9:16instance: "Let's take someone here.""
- 9:19Hello, I would like to try Pilates."
- 9:21It's a bit scary. Here, the processing
- 9:23and information exchange happens. The
- 9:25person signs up, and voila, we have a
- 9:27phone number, the person has signed up.
- 9:29Similarly, a person writes. Next, a
- 9:32chatbot kicks in, automatically sending
- 9:34them info about a discount and our
- 9:37location. The person clicks a button in
- 9:39the chatbot. They immediately receive
- 9:42the address to sign up for a trial
- 9:44class. An automated message also comes
- 9:46through. Once the person replies, a
- 9:48real human takes over and gets them
- 9:50registered. The thing is, we end up
- 9:52with quite a lot of these conversations
- 9:55, and interacting with all of them
- 9:56later becomes problematic. But VK has
- 10:00it all figured out; once someone is in
- 10:02our database, we can send mass messages
- 10:04, adding people to separate lists based
- 10:06on whether they’ve bought something
- 10:08or not. If someone hasn't purchased yet
- 10:12, we can send a message to, say, 200
- 10:14people, reminding them they haven't
- 10:15bought anything yet and telling them
- 10:17about our new June promo, encouraging
- 10:18them to buy something—here's another
- 10:20community example. You can see the
- 10:23cover, info, a ton of reviews—37
- 10:25reviews in total—and various menu
- 10:28buttons. Products are added here
- 10:30primarily to show the prices. Again,
- 10:33there are various buttons that allow
- 10:34you to direct the person into a
- 10:36conversation. Then comes the actual
- 10:39info in the description, along with
- 10:43details on current pricing and terms.
- 10:47So, we publish things like this.
- 10:49Returning to my own community, I post
- 10:51various updates here as well. What do
- 10:54these posts achieve? First, we show
- 10:56that we are active; you can see here
- 10:58that there were 1,000 views. If you
- 11:02click these three dots and go into the
- 11:05stats, you can see that it reached 431
- 11:07subscribers and 573 non-subscribers.
- 11:11Just imagine: 573 people who don't
- 11:13follow the community saw this post and
- 11:15viewed it in some way. Consequently,
- 11:18there's a chance they will subscribe
- 11:20later, because people interact with you
- 11:23directly through these posts. There
- 11:25aren't many here, for example, but
- 11:28there's a decent amount here. So, in
- 11:31summary, I’d say that on VK you need
- 11:33to have a personal page in your own
- 11:35name. It can even be private, but
- 11:37it’s very important to use that
- 11:39personal page to create a community
- 11:41related to your business. Now, I'll
- 11:43quickly tell you where ads are actually
- 11:45shown—the main highlights. Well,
- 11:48first and foremost, of course, is the
- 11:49stories block. People watch stories on
- 11:51both their phones and computers. Also,
- 11:54the main stream of traffic comes from
- 11:56the feed. For example, it's even
- 11:59recommending my own video here, which
- 12:00got 350 views. So, I can just click "
- 12:03watch." And right here are all sorts of
- 12:06different posts. And your post, among
- 12:08others, can also appear here. Also,
- 12:11what else is important is clips. That
- 12:14is, when we go on our phones—I'm
- 12:16recording on my phone—but when we
- 12:17open the app, there is a section for
- 12:18clips. And in the same way, when a
- 12:21person is scrolling through clips, our
- 12:23ad can be shown to them among the clips
- 12:25. Therefore, if you are just starting
- 12:27out and haven't created anything yet,
- 12:29you can create a personal page in your
- 12:31name, it can even be private, and then
- 12:33create a VK community for your business
- 12:35. Again, I will attach how to create a
- 12:37VK community from scratch, that is,
- 12:39links or buttons. By clicking the
- 12:40button, you can watch the videos
- 12:42directly. I have quite a lot of
- 12:43tutorials on how to do this correctly,
- 12:46yes, how to create a sales-driven
- 12:47format. You can pay attention to the
- 12:50various tricks I used in this video.
- 12:52And after that, of course, you will
- 12:53need to create an advertising account.
- 12:55And in the next videos, we will look at
- 12:57how to directly set up the ads.
