- 0:00Now we've basically learned about
- 0:02temporary generation through Midjourney
- 0:04. But since we're paying for this tool,
- 0:06it'd be better to use it like a pro,
- 0:08right? I'll show you some Midjourney
- 0:10intermediate skills that are good to
- 0:12know. I'm going to start by generating
- 0:14an image. Let's try inputting the text
- 0:16"cute cartoon character illustration."
- 0:19This gives us these results, and you
- 0:21can see a lot of 3D graphics, right?
- 0:23But if you only want to use 2D, you
- 0:25need to use a negative prompt. After
- 0:28the prompt you used earlier, just type
- 0:30"--no" followed by the words you want
- 0:33to exclude. Let's type "3D rendering"
- 0:36and add "realistic texture" to create a
- 0:41new one. So, unlike before, it came out
- 0:46in 2D. It says "--no" here as well.
- 0:49This is how you use negative prompts.
- 0:51You can use various examples. For
- 0:54instance, let's try inputting a prompt
- 0:56for an image of a city night scene. Now
- 1:04we have these four cool images. Among
- 1:07them, there are effects like blur or
- 1:10bokeh. If you want to remove light
- 1:13bleeding effects like these, let's use
- 1:15the negative prompt by typing two
- 1:17dashes and "no" again. You can type "
- 1:21bokeh" here, or if people appear and
- 1:24you want an image without them, you
- 1:26could add "people." Since there are no
- 1:30people here right now, I'll exclude
- 1:32that and just try removing the bokeh.
- 1:38Looking at the finished result, you can
- 1:40see it's quite different from before.
- 1:43The ones below were blurry and had
- 1:45bokeh effects, but the images above are
- 1:48very sharp. Even if there's some light
- 1:51spread, graphic effects like bokeh are
- 1:53gone. By using negative prompts like
- 1:56this, you can get the images you want
- 1:58more accurately.
