  17. 0:35you a 1940 packard owned by a lady her
  18. 0:39name is carla she's an absolute
  19. 0:41sweetheart and i've been chasing carla
  20. 0:43for many months i first saw her car and
  21. 0:46i fell in love with the car in the port
  22. 0:49credit car show
  23. 0:51carla has a beautiful 1940 packard it's
  24. 0:54a 120 sedan model it is a resto mod she
  25. 0:59has put in a 350 small block engine it's
  26. 1:02got power steering it's got power brakes
  27. 1:05and sadly you know what it sat in a
  28. 1:07field in iowa for many many years and
  29. 1:11she painted this this gorgeous
  30. 1:14cherry black and gold color it's
  31. 1:16two-tone it's magnificent so without
  32. 1:19further ado let's hop in let's go for a
  33. 1:22drive and let's check out this beautiful
  34. 1:241940 packard
  35. 1:55so carla yesterday before you turn her
  36. 1:58off oh i just did go ahead it doesn't
  37. 2:00matter all right if you don't mind i
  38. 2:01just wanted to hear you rev the engine
  39. 2:03okay
  40. 2:08do you want to give it a bit of gas
  41. 2:12very nice so what does a horn sound like
  42. 2:14carla
  43. 2:16oh nice
  44. 2:21oh okay
  45. 2:23come on out my dear
  46. 2:25i'm coming out oh my there we go
  47. 2:28she is absolutely beautiful she is she
  48. 2:31told me what this is well it is a 19th
  49. 2:36packard 120 sedan
  50. 2:39she is rustlemod her engine
  51. 2:41unfortunately could not be saved
  52. 2:43it was cracked to the point where
  53. 2:45it was sad
  54. 2:47so she's now running a 350 small block
  55. 2:51while that was being done they decided
  56. 2:53to make her power steering power brakes
  57. 2:55thank you
  58. 2:57because this helps well this beast
  59. 2:59this beast would have been impossible to
  60. 3:01stop she weighs almost 5 000 pounds so
  61. 3:05it's solid steel it's 20 gauge steel
  62. 3:08uh
  63. 3:11this is what was they were able to save
  64. 3:12she sat in a field
  65. 3:14somewhere in iowa
  66. 3:16for about 40 years and she was rotted
  67. 3:19from the ground up
  68. 3:21so they were able to save the car look
  69. 3:24at the color on it well that's my choice
  70. 3:26thank you oh my god the tutor with the
  71. 3:29gold in that
  72. 3:30carla she's beautiful yes she is
  73. 3:33how long have you had this i've only had
  74. 3:35her three years but when i got her she
  75. 3:36was dark navy blue
  76. 3:38which i really hated because she looked
  77. 3:40like such a beast in blue
  78. 3:43so and she needed a lot of body work
  79. 3:46so we put her in and had her redone
  80. 3:49oh she's beautiful
  81. 3:51i think so i i chose these colors
  82. 3:54because they were very close to the
  83. 3:55original colors
  84. 3:58the original price sorry oh i know it's
  85. 4:001100 bucks isn't that funny
  86. 4:03yeah but you could buy two two shelves
  87. 4:04in the three two and a half four still a
  88. 4:07premium car right
  89. 4:08you could buy two shafts and two and a
  90. 4:10half fords for that price
  91. 4:12i love the tires and everything on this
  92. 4:14car
  93. 4:15how pretty is that
  94. 4:17well we changed them from uh
  95. 4:20do apply to uh
  96. 4:23radials because they handle better right
  97. 4:25but getting four inch or three and a
  98. 4:28half inch white walls was a difficult
  99. 4:30proposition
  100. 4:32but it does help and she does pop she
  101. 4:34does look
  102. 4:36she looks better with them no i like
  103. 4:37your exhaust so the original packard
  104. 4:39would have had one singular pipe coming
  105. 4:41out
  106. 4:42i'm not really sure i think it was
  107. 4:43always dual
  108. 4:45but it certainly wouldn't be in the
  109. 4:46square portion
  110. 4:48right it would have been this the
  111. 4:49straight round pipes
  112. 4:52oh my god she's a work of art
  113. 4:55and this is where the gas cap is right
  114. 4:56here well it is it wasn't originally
  115. 4:59originally it was on this side and it
  116. 5:01looked like a giant nipple
  117. 5:03it was like well it's not please don't
  118. 5:05say that one because i got in trouble
  119. 5:06for that one once well it looked like a
  120. 5:09protrusion
  121. 5:10okay and so therefore we had it switched
  122. 5:13over here because of the way
  123. 5:15the car was being painted and we put it
  124. 5:17into a
  125. 5:20flush gas can
  126. 5:22so it just blends into the car
  127. 5:25wow why the packard carla was it
  128. 5:27something that appealed to you about
  129. 5:28this because this to me is an automobile
  130. 5:31yeah
  131. 5:31that to me is a car
  132. 5:33or a belly button car as uh some people
  133. 5:35might call it that to me is a car yes i
  134. 5:37hear you um and if you don't look at the
  135. 5:39insignias you have no idea who made them
  136. 5:42and they're either black white or some
  137. 5:44shade in between
  138. 5:45it's got so much character to it it's
  139. 5:47absolutely that is why i like them these
  140. 5:49are automobiles yes
  141. 5:53automobiles how long is it oh it looks
  142. 5:5518 feet 4 inches okay
  143. 5:58and what size engine is this she's only
  144. 6:00running a 350 small block right
  145. 6:03can we take a look at that
  146. 6:09oh how cool is that
  147. 6:12you are one lucky girl
  148. 6:17so were you always looking for a package
  149. 6:19always
  150. 6:20since you were always always wanted one
  151. 6:22of these i always wanted these
  152. 6:24and the funny part was i never thought
  153. 6:26you know i was ever going to find one
  154. 6:27that i could afford to buy yes and
  155. 6:31went to a car show and she pulled around
  156. 6:33the corner and she was blue and she
  157. 6:34needed a lot of body help
  158. 6:36and i thought oh
  159. 6:38with a little bit of love that could be
  160. 6:40my car exactly and it was love at first
  161. 6:42sight it really works things here
  162. 6:44there's like lights and everything
  163. 6:46they've been on the original car as well
  164. 6:48so these are out actually what they had
  165. 6:50here was another set of bullet lights
  166. 6:52okay that i haven't i have one at home
  167. 6:54but i can't find the other one the
  168. 6:56minute i find another one these two will
  169. 6:58be gone okay and i'll put the bullet
  170. 7:00lights there i put these on because this
  171. 7:03car needed this where i live we don't
  172. 7:05have street lights
  173. 7:06and i needed more light than this car
  174. 7:08could give me
  175. 7:10so my husband put those lights on at the
  176. 7:11end very nice
  177. 7:13look at the size of these lamps too
  178. 7:15yeah they give you no light ah but they
  179. 7:17look good they look great
  180. 7:19and i love these yeah the little bullet
  181. 7:22lights oh it's beautiful
  182. 7:25i was actually thinking of taking them
  183. 7:26off and chroming them but i thought no
  184. 7:28this car's got enough chrome it doesn't
  185. 7:29need more chrome
  186. 7:31it looks just right i mean normally i
  187. 7:33disagree with you i'm a chrome kind of
  188. 7:35guy but this is just perfect but she's
  189. 7:37carrying so much chrome now on the front
  190. 7:39end look at it all it's lovely oh i love
  191. 7:42your wipers too
  192. 7:44all of my liquids they work they work
  193. 7:47by little eight inch wipers
  194. 7:50but the problem is their vacuum
  195. 7:52so they sort of work and then they kind
  196. 7:54of go back boom
  197. 7:56and then they work and then they go back
  198. 7:59you know what there is something magical
  199. 8:01about
  200. 8:03running boards
  201. 8:04what just drives me insane i love those
  202. 8:06things
  203. 8:08and you're right it brings a character
  204. 8:10may i open the by all means i don't know
  205. 8:12what kind of a mess she is inside i
  206. 8:13brought the dog today
  207. 8:15that's okay
  208. 8:17so this is the original interior it is
  209. 8:19the original interior it is not the
  210. 8:21original steering column and and
  211. 8:22steering wheel obviously
  212. 8:26oh look at the size of the clock carla
  213. 8:28isn't the clock crazy
  214. 8:31so i wonder what the options were back
  215. 8:34in the day i don't know
  216. 8:36um a car like this i really don't know
  217. 8:39and you gotta love the suicide doors no
  218. 8:41please don't call them suicide doors
  219. 8:43what do you call them reverse openings
  220. 8:44reverse opening doors okay don't don't
  221. 8:46do that
  222. 8:47in order to have them be i'm sorry
  223. 8:50that's okay oh dear these are my other
  224. 8:52side oh it's going to be cold tonight so
  225. 8:54i took jackets and sweaters see that let
  226. 8:56me go around the other absolutely
  227. 9:03so i'll open the reverse opening doors
  228. 9:05there you go
  229. 9:06oh my god it doesn't take you long to
  230. 9:08learn there you go
  231. 9:10this looks more comfortable than my
  232. 9:11couch yes isn't it wonderful
  233. 9:14look at this
  234. 9:16with the original packards would have
  235. 9:18been this
  236. 9:19like luxury that is yes that is the
  237. 9:21original interior only it's copied
  238. 9:24but that was the original interior
  239. 9:27like even with these lamps
  240. 9:29everything
  241. 9:31they were well ahead of their time but
  242. 9:32they were brought into the market the
  243. 9:34north american market to uh rival uh
  244. 9:37rolls-royce
  245. 9:39so would this been a step above like the
  246. 9:41cadillac this was this was the ultimate
  247. 9:45this is the american rolls royce for the
  248. 9:48for the normal family yeah i mean when
  249. 9:50you get up into the higher
  250. 9:52what's it's i mean you're going to end
  251. 9:53up with a lot more car right
  252. 9:55again dog oh don't worry about the dog
  253. 9:59but look at that with the bench seats
  254. 10:01and everything else
  255. 10:02it did not have a console
  256. 10:04that was a console that was built for
  257. 10:06this car custom-made okay um because
  258. 10:08there was no place to put anything a cup
  259. 10:10of water a bottle nothing and we're
  260. 10:12canadian and you have to have we have to
  261. 10:14have a cup holder so that was originally
  262. 10:16built as a cup holder my husband only
  263. 10:17came home with that
  264. 10:19about a week ago and said look we've got
  265. 10:21one for the floor too look what i bought
  266. 10:23it's canadian canadian tire there you go
  267. 10:25yeah
  268. 10:26but look at that
  269. 10:28that's a work of art right there it's an
  270. 10:31interesting clock
  271. 10:32so the original car would not have had
  272. 10:34things like air conditioning and all
  273. 10:36those things oh but it has air
  274. 10:37conditioning
  275. 10:38oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah four by four
  276. 10:41by 60 kilometers an hour
  277. 10:45that'll do
  278. 10:46you open more windows more vents four
  279. 10:49windows four vents yes open the uh the
  280. 10:52hood cowling
  281. 10:53and do 60k and you've got it yes okay
  282. 10:57so i love the gear shifter look at the
  283. 10:58size of that thing well that was the
  284. 11:00original length and size of the gear
  285. 11:02shift however that is an automatic
  286. 11:05so how do you shift from drive
  287. 11:08you depress the center point
  288. 11:11that is so cool
  289. 11:13wow but you can see it has no clutch
  290. 11:16right
  291. 11:18and that is what a handbrake
  292. 11:20i'm sorry this one
  293. 11:21no that's the handbrake that's the
  294. 11:23handrail which rattles like crazy
  295. 11:26gives a character oh well this car has a
  296. 11:27lot of character yeah it's called
  297. 11:28character that if that's what it's
  298. 11:30called in a vintage car i've learned the
  299. 11:32hardware you call it character okay uh
  300. 11:34then this car has a tremendous amount of
  301. 11:36character
  302. 11:37and that's why you love her so much i
  303. 11:40love her because of her exterior not her
  304. 11:41interior
  305. 11:43no but you know what that's not so bad
  306. 11:45carla i wouldn't be that uh shy about it
  307. 11:48i think and certainly
  308. 11:49they didn't have seat belts in the 40s
  309. 11:52you're like 50 kids in the back of the
  310. 11:54car and it wouldn't matter right how
  311. 11:56much space is in there in the trunk
  312. 11:59can we spell none
  313. 12:03let's have a look what none looks like
  314. 12:05then
  315. 12:06oh wow this is a beast which is a solid
  316. 12:10metal yes will it stay up yes it will
  317. 12:12okay
  318. 12:13i've learned to trust it
  319. 12:15yeah you're right again i have a dog
  320. 12:16with me so
  321. 12:18dog bed it's all about the puppy it's
  322. 12:20all about my dog
  323. 12:21wow that's interesting so not big at all
  324. 12:25right
  325. 12:25tiny tiny tiny but you gotta understand
  326. 12:27that this is the
  327. 12:29the second year that they actually
  328. 12:30produced
  329. 12:31a trunk before that it was a rumble seat
  330. 12:35okay that what flipped this way you flip
  331. 12:38this way and you could get into it and
  332. 12:39sit
  333. 12:40although why you would want to sit
  334. 12:41outdoors like that i don't know i guess
  335. 12:43it's the novelty of it all isn't it
  336. 12:46you're good yeah
  337. 12:48that trunk lid weighs about 80 pounds
  338. 12:50yeah
  339. 12:51so beautiful
  340. 12:53now you know why she weighs almost 5
  341. 12:55000. you've done an incredible job with
  342. 12:57the color combination thank you
  343. 12:59like why this color combination is that
  344. 13:01something you always thought about no
  345. 13:03what i wanted was a color that was not
  346. 13:05going to make her look odd
  347. 13:07this color here at night is black which
  348. 13:09is probably what she should have been in
  349. 13:11the first place
  350. 13:12but during the day she is this deep
  351. 13:14burgundy color that like i mean the eye
  352. 13:17picks it up i'm not sure what the camera
  353. 13:18does but it's a deep burgundy color and
  354. 13:20it's that metallic finish right
  355. 13:22beautiful
  356. 13:23and painted when where where
  357. 13:27right here yeah right here in toronto
  358. 13:28wow
  359. 13:30i love it
  360. 13:34and then the gold was because of the
  361. 13:36interior okay
  362. 13:38now this ornament here ah she's
  363. 13:41beautiful the lady of speed
  364. 13:44and again the original packards had
  365. 13:45these
  366. 13:47and this part here is what material
  367. 13:49class really that's why i get so nervous
  368. 13:51when people come around and play with it
  369. 13:54i'm like
  370. 13:55i can't replace it don't do that
  371. 14:03how lovely is this car oh
  372. 14:05i i think she's lovely i think so too
  373. 14:07you know when you go to these car shows
  374. 14:09there's certain cars that really pop
  375. 14:11thank you she's one of those that's
  376. 14:13caught my eye the first time that's how
  377. 14:14i feel about her that's why i got her it
  378. 14:17makes your heart skip a beard doesn't it
  379. 14:18yeah this is love
  380. 14:20it's it's pride of ownership
  381. 14:23with all its faults no but that's okay
  382. 14:25you pay extra for those things and uh
  383. 14:28she's just magnificent no she's proud of
  384. 14:30ownership and it's pulse
  385. 14:32right it's really helpful i can't take
  386. 14:34her to i can't take her anywhere except
  387. 14:36to a car show because if i park her in
  388. 14:38an ordinary parking lot within 10
  389. 14:40minutes i've got a crowd yes and it's
  390. 14:42like forget social distancing like go
  391. 14:45call us
  392. 14:46causing problems again
  393. 14:48not doing that
  394. 14:51i love everything about it like the
  395. 14:52front grills everything
  396. 14:56man is she pretty
  397. 14:58should have seen her when they took her
  398. 14:59apart
  399. 15:01it was sad to see
  400. 15:04because all of it is pieces
  401. 15:06they didn't start making amalgamated
  402. 15:08cars until 1946 when they came back into
  403. 15:10production they went out of production
  404. 15:14everything here comes apart like the
  405. 15:15fenders all come off
  406. 15:17the cowling comes off the nose piece
  407. 15:19drops off
  408. 15:21everything here falls apart it's all you
  409. 15:23can see where it's put together
  410. 15:26that when you put your hand down in here
  411. 15:28well you can't feel it here but you can
  412. 15:29see it here see it's all separate
  413. 15:32all right
  414. 15:33it's all rubber gasket it is yes yes yes
  415. 15:36it's all rubber gasketed so each one of
  416. 15:38these pieces comes off and the car was
  417. 15:40assembled that way
  418. 15:41so it has some advantages that way too
  419. 15:43well yeah if you have a crumpled finish
  420. 15:45you can take one fender off and keep
  421. 15:46going yeah
  422. 15:48oh it would look pretty strange but you
  423. 15:49could
  424. 15:50now where was this made did you say it
  425. 15:52was made in detroit detroit in the
  426. 15:54package in the packard factory which is
  427. 15:56still standing to this day no way
  428. 15:58because the building was so well built
  429. 16:00they don't know how to take it apart
  430. 16:01just like the cars it's so well built so
  431. 16:04why did they stop making the packets
  432. 16:05then okay in 1941 they stopped making
  433. 16:08packards because they uh went into
  434. 16:11production making engines for b-29s for
  435. 16:14the bombers yeah for the bombers
  436. 16:16when they came back into production in
  437. 16:181946
  438. 16:20they went through a design change and
  439. 16:22the cars became more bubbled
  440. 16:24and they integrated the fenders they
  441. 16:26integrated the trunks they didn't have
  442. 16:28cowling they entered they made a hood
  443. 16:30they lost all of what packard was
  444. 16:32character yes and so i don't look at
  445. 16:34anything past 46.
  446. 16:37they were then bought or sold too i'm
  447. 16:39not sure whether it was bought or sold i
  448. 16:41haven't figured that one out yet to
  449. 16:42studebaker oh okay now they still
  450. 16:45continue to manufacture under their own
  451. 16:47name
  452. 16:48until about 1958 and that was the last
  453. 16:50packard ever made the 1958 bucket okay
  454. 16:56this is beautiful though but the 195th
  455. 16:58from 1948
  456. 17:00on
  457. 17:02uh
  458. 17:04people weren't buying them anymore
  459. 17:05because they looked like today they
  460. 17:07looked like everybody else's car yes
  461. 17:09they got to be bubble cars and nobody
  462. 17:11wanted them
  463. 17:13so they changed them to a bubble car and
  464. 17:15then nobody really wanted them
  465. 17:18so i have to ask you what would be okay
  466. 17:20to go for a quick drive
  467. 17:22where would you like i know stefan step
  468. 17:23in
  469. 17:24look at this step in have fun pretty use
  470. 17:26this oh and it's comfortable well it has
  471. 17:29to be because this is your suspension oh
  472. 17:31this is it that's it
  473. 17:36and you have to love her a little bit of
  474. 17:38course
  475. 17:39okay but you drive her everywhere i do
  476. 17:43like you drive further than i bring my
  477. 17:44mg i'm always afraid to come this far
  478. 17:46but i always drive her
  479. 17:48don't have a problem now the gauges that
  480. 17:50we see there carla they would have been
  481. 17:53like the original they are original my
  482. 17:55problem is i have to switch from miles
  483. 17:57to kilometers which drives
  484. 18:04look at that look at the front of this
  485. 18:06thing it's like literally in a rolls
  486. 18:08royce should we go down well she would
  487. 18:10yeah of course i'm going to go that way
  488. 18:11but that's what she was built in this
  489. 18:12competition to the rolls royce but it's
  490. 18:15got that look to it it also has that
  491. 18:18smell of course
  492. 18:24this is where the fun starts when people
  493. 18:25start looking at your car to the point
  494. 18:27where they can't drive
  495. 18:29you know what you have or they drive are
  496. 18:30you going up there you're going up the
  497. 18:32highway and they drive into you that's
  498. 18:34interesting it's a distraction isn't it
  499. 18:39in a good way
  500. 18:43and the brakes on this thing are drum
  501. 18:45brakes no no no thank you they are disc
  502. 18:48brakes disc brakes okay
  503. 18:50but the original would have been dry
  504. 18:52they were drums
  505. 18:53and you needed twice the distance to
  506. 18:55stop because you got five thousand
  507. 18:57pounds of metal behind it's like a ship
  508. 18:58isn't it you gotta really plan ahead oh
  509. 19:01god
  510. 19:02but she rides comfortably she rides
  511. 19:04beautifully i told you she's very
  512. 19:05comfortable car she just has no
  513. 19:07suspension but then
  514. 19:10their leaves
  515. 19:11their leaf suspension so yeah
  516. 19:16so you bounce around a little bit that's
  517. 19:17okay
  518. 19:18helps digest the food is that what that
  519. 19:20is yeah okay i'll have to remember that
  520. 19:22next time she throws me into the ceiling
  521. 19:29oh it's just elegant
  522. 19:31it is an elegant vehicle um i'm not
  523. 19:34gonna lie to you i love the looks of her
  524. 19:37i don't necessarily love what she puts
  525. 19:39me through sometimes but
  526. 19:41you see what i mean i know that's okay
  527. 19:43what are all these little knobbies okay
  528. 19:45we've got
  529. 19:46lights here
  530. 19:47which control the big lights
  531. 19:50we have windshield wipers
  532. 19:52that which i'm not going to turn on
  533. 19:53because then i have to go push them back
  534. 19:55down again
  535. 19:56you pay extra for that little feature
  536. 19:58yeah
  537. 19:59and then there's a lighter cigarette
  538. 20:01lighter gotta have that can you believe
  539. 20:02that
  540. 20:03okay
  541. 20:05and then this
  542. 20:07what does that do it's my emergency
  543. 20:09light oh the four ways and this is my
  544. 20:11heater okay it's either on or off
  545. 20:14where's the ash tray there is no ashtray
  546. 20:16oh you just pop it out the window or you
  547. 20:19carried your own ashtray i guess i don't
  548. 20:20know
  549. 20:22and the glove box actually had a lock on
  550. 20:24it already it did but you can open it
  551. 20:25anytime you like i don't know what's in
  552. 20:27there but
  553. 20:28no push it in like a button there you go
  554. 20:31oh look at that
  555. 20:32oh it's card
  556. 20:34isn't that something i'm sorry it's card
  557. 20:36like this whole thing yes
  558. 20:40i love that
  559. 20:43okay well we're gonna go here oh okay
  560. 20:51oh she's got a little bit of pep to it
  561. 20:54yeah it's a 350 300 horse collar and you
  562. 20:57drive it like a skull i do
  563. 21:02i thoroughly enjoy my car you do indeed
  564. 21:06probably this street and
  565. 21:08this one i don't know if that one goes
  566. 21:09out
  567. 21:11i think this one with the lights must go
  568. 21:13out
  569. 21:13and i would go over as soon as he gets
  570. 21:15past me thank you he's busy looking at
  571. 21:17him nope not again all right
  572. 21:20damn
  573. 21:21oh there's no street there's no street
  574. 21:23here okay we'll do the next day whatever
  575. 21:25well better for me
  576. 21:27because i get to sit in this longer
  577. 21:30she's fine she's oh she's lovely she is
  578. 21:32lovely
  579. 21:34i noticed there's this little knobby
  580. 21:35thing there what is that oh that
  581. 21:38is my air conditioning oh that's the
  582. 21:40little vent thing yeah that's my air
  583. 21:42conditioner i love it
  584. 21:45now with the windshield being high i see
  585. 21:47you have one of those reflectory things
  586. 21:49correct because i can't see a stop light
  587. 21:51when i come up to it yes
  588. 21:54because you're actually so far back too
  589. 21:56well i sit very far back from the
  590. 21:57steering wheel
  591. 21:58i never want to eat my steering wheel
  592. 22:01it's not the flavor i like
  593. 22:04so i sit as far back from the steering
  594. 22:06wheel as i can possibly get
  595. 22:10so what was the first car you ever
  596. 22:12bought mary
  597. 22:13what was the first car i ever bought yep
  598. 22:15i bought a 124 spider fiat oh
  599. 22:20and that was only because my father got
  600. 22:21so upset because he could never find his
  601. 22:23car
  602. 22:24and you bought yourself a little fiat
  603. 22:26spike well i didn't buy it actually i
  604. 22:28didn't have the money to buy it i was
  605. 22:29only 17.
  606. 22:30but my father i conned him in silly man
  607. 22:33that he was
  608. 22:35i conned him into buying it for me and i
  609. 22:37promised i would pay it back when i got
  610. 22:38my first job which i did
  611. 22:40it took me a long time but i did that's
  612. 22:42okay we kept your word i did
  613. 22:45and then from the fiat
  614. 22:47i went to what color was that one the
  615. 22:49field was white white okay
  616. 22:52and then from the fiat i went and i got
  617. 22:54myself a maverick
  618. 22:56okay a little ford maverick guys
  619. 22:58well well nice it's it was a little ford
  620. 23:00maverick
  621. 23:01and
  622. 23:02that one i paid all on my own and that's
  623. 23:04why i bought the maverick because it was
  624. 23:06really cheap yeah
  625. 23:08it was probably the cheapest car on the
  626. 23:09market at the time which i could afford
  627. 23:11i see what you mean about the suspension
  628. 23:13okay i understand the suspension thank
  629. 23:15god for these seats though thank god for
  630. 23:17this damn thing there you go
  631. 23:20yeah the suspension leaves a great deal
  632. 23:22to be desired
  633. 23:23oh the brakes are good though thank you
  634. 23:25yeah
  635. 23:26they got a little bit of juice on them
  636. 23:28but they do okay so sorry you're saying
  637. 23:30after the um
  638. 23:32maverick yeah and then then i bought oh
  639. 23:35a toyota seleca oh nice car and then
  640. 23:37four years later i bought another toyota
  641. 23:39celica actually i just did a video of a
  642. 23:42young lady with a selector and then
  643. 23:43after that i bought a mustang
  644. 23:46a mach 1 mustang well i had more money
  645. 23:48then yes so i bought a mach 1 mustang
  646. 23:50and then from the mustang i bought oh
  647. 23:53dear where'd i go for the mustang um
  648. 23:57i think
  649. 23:58i think about the toyota
  650. 24:00seleca once again
  651. 24:03and then after that
  652. 24:10i bought a subaru
  653. 24:12okay
  654. 24:13but you are a car girl like you you pick
  655. 24:16select cars because well i picked the
  656. 24:18subaru not before any
  657. 24:20of my reasons but because i had a
  658. 24:22daughter at the time
  659. 24:24and i got tired of banging my kid's head
  660. 24:26on the back of this the
  661. 24:28toyota seleca right trying to get her
  662. 24:31into her car seat
  663. 24:33and i said you know my kid's worth more
  664. 24:34than this damn car so i'm going to go
  665. 24:36and get myself
  666. 24:38a car that i can use that's practical
  667. 24:40that's practical so i went and i got the
  668. 24:43subaru awesome
  669. 24:47my my daily car is a subaru as well so i
  670. 24:50i i now drive a subaru outback
  671. 24:52and i've been driving a subaru's ever
  672. 24:54since yep i won't drive any of the cars
  673. 24:56especially for canada isn't it i don't
  674. 24:58drive any other car which people
  675. 25:01absolutely slammed me for whoa
