101 things to do this summer — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00It's summer.
- 0:01Let's go. 101 things you can do with
- 0:04some bonuses.
- 0:05Write the things that stick out to you.
- 0:07There's going to be no particular order,
- 0:08but there is going to be some really
- 0:11great stuff that I wish I did previously
- 0:15in my summers, and these are all things
- 0:17that I have done, and I'm going to share
- 0:19them with you because I want the best
- 0:21for you.
- 0:22Don't miss out. Let's go. First thing.
- 0:25The first thing I have is to tan. It's
- 0:27not even the tan itself, which is
- 0:29summer. It's the fact that you have to
- 0:31go outside. You have to do stuff
- 0:33outside. You don't have to overdo it.
- 0:35You don't have to plan a whole day to
- 0:37tan. Just be outside, and it's a good
- 0:40sign that you're living life. The next
- 0:43thing I have is push-ups.
- 0:45Do 10 push-ups with me.
- 0:49Maybe don't do it in tall grass, but I
- 0:51want you to get in the habit of taking
- 0:53action right away, doing those
- 0:55spontaneous things. The next thing I
- 0:57have is go outside barefoot, or just be
- 0:59barefoot. Ground. Connect yourself.
- 1:04It feels so good.
- 1:06We don't need these anymore.
- 1:08The next thing I have is make a new
- 1:10friend.
- 1:11Go that extra mile.
- 1:13Initiate that conversation.
- 1:15Put yourself in situations where you
- 1:17have to meet new people. The next thing
- 1:19I have is learn an instrument.
- 1:21Guitar, piano, singing. Create a story
- 1:24journal where each day you write one
- 1:27little story that happened each day, and
- 1:30what lesson you can derive from it, how
- 1:32it can help you. Sign up for some
- 1:34tournament. Last year I signed up for
- 1:36this sports tournament, and I actually
- 1:38ended up winning it. Those interesting
- 1:40moments never happened if you
- 1:43don't sign up for things. Take
- 1:45opportunities when they're presented to
- 1:47you, and make Get out of your way to get
- 1:49those opportunities.
- 1:51You can't like let life happen to you.
- 1:53The worst thing you can do is
- 1:56get all of these things and do nothing.
- 1:59That is the worst thing you can do.
- 2:01And I don't want to say this to be
- 2:03negative. The only thing that's left to
- 2:06enjoy summer
- 2:07or to enjoy any day is just to take
- 2:10action.
- 2:11Write something, a poem, a book,
- 2:15journal, lower your screen time.
- 2:18The more time you could be outside,
- 2:20do other things in your evenings after
- 2:23work, during work, before work, whenever
- 2:26you have free time, don't spend it all
- 2:28on the phone.
- 2:30The moment I stopped doing that, I was
- 2:32able to get so much more done. I started
- 2:34making videos. I started working out
- 2:36more. I started immersing myself with a
- 2:38bunch of new things. If you would like
- 2:40that to apply in the link in the
- 2:41description
- 2:43to lower your screen time. The next
- 2:44thing I have is play chess, plan a trip
- 2:46to go somewhere and actually go there.
- 2:49Eliminate your excuses. Get some money,
- 2:51find some ways to make money
- 2:55online, in person. We all have
- 2:57opportunities. Another thing I have is
- 2:59be an early bird. Wake up early.
- 3:02Experience the day. Get out there. Wake
- 3:04up when everyone else is still sleeping
- 3:07in. Speaking of birds, bird watch. Just
- 3:10do crazy, fun stuff.
- 3:12Get a boomerang and spend a day going
- 3:15outside in a field and throwing it
- 3:18across
- 3:19the field and catching it. I'll show you
- 3:21a video of me doing that. This
- 3:35>> Oh, we got it.
- 3:37>> Those are the things I feel like which
- 3:38make life life. It's not the most
- 3:41productive things. It's the interesting
- 3:43things that make that day special for
- 3:46you
- 3:47personally. It's those days where you go
- 3:50to this one spot and you do some
- 3:53handstand. It's the days where
- 3:56you're with your friends and you all
- 3:59throw rocks into the water and see who
- 4:02can throw out the furthest. It's the
- 4:04days where
- 4:06you start some business, some project
- 4:08and then
- 4:09you have days where you make no money
- 4:11and you have to work 12 hours a day to
- 4:14try to make ends meet and
- 4:17you vividly remember you having to sleep
- 4:20on the floor somewhere.
- 4:24It's the days where you get lost in some
- 4:27country and have to navigate yourself
- 4:29out of it.
- 4:30Moments like those. There's this one
- 4:32game I play
- 4:34called Spikeball. The best way I can
- 4:36describe it without it taking an hour is
- 4:40it's just volleyball but you just got to
- 4:42hit the net. I've played that so many
- 4:44times and the best part is you you could
- 4:47bring it anywhere and just play at some
- 4:48crazy locations which are sick. I got to
- 4:51say this, go to the beach, get your toes
- 4:54in the sand, get that salt water. The
- 4:56next thing I have is think about life.
- 4:59What would
- 5:01make it count?
- 5:13How can you make the most of it?
- 5:18I'm not going to cut this out and I
- 5:20don't even care if
- 5:23it drops the retention or people click
- 5:26off
- 5:27because the people who will hear this
- 5:29and take action,
- 5:31those are the people I want to reach.
- 5:34And if that sounds like someone
- 5:36who is like you, you want to take
- 5:38action,
- 5:40consider subscribing.
- 5:43I'll be posting more videos like this
- 5:46to share what I've been doing, my ideas,
- 5:48and
- 5:51give you ways to take action on this.
- 5:57I'm not a movie.
- 5:59I'm not a movie. I just thought I was
- 6:00just playing with this stick. Imagine
- 6:02you make
- 6:04a boat. You just build a boat out of
- 6:06wood.
- 6:06You take a bunch of sticks and you
- 6:11make some device out of it. I understand
- 6:14that you don't step outside and it looks
- 6:17like this all the time. Or what if
- 6:20you have to do something at home? That's
- 6:22where you learn to do those projects, to
- 6:25create something,
- 6:27to learn. Try a 24-hour no screen
- 6:30challenge. Do some yoga. Go to the gym.
- 6:33Do 10 push-ups. Learn how to do a
- 6:35handstand.
- 6:37Wear cotton and linen. The more you can
- 6:40wear those natural clothing, the better
- 6:43your skin will feel, the more breathable
- 6:45it is, and the healthier it is overall.
- 6:47The next thing I have, dance.
- 6:51Dance.
- 6:54Put yourself out there. Have fun.
- 6:56Go camping.
- 6:57I
- 6:58literally went camping back here
- 7:02a few 2 days ago. It was so interesting
- 7:05because I felt so immersed that I could
- 7:10almost sense what time it is without
- 7:12even looking at my phone.
- 7:14I noticed as I went out,
- 7:17I said good night and I went
- 7:19here.
- 7:20I noticed, yeah, like I've still been
- 7:22here for a few minutes, and then it got
- 7:24quieter.
- 7:25I was like, okay, it's probably
- 7:2711:00, 12:00. I started hear hearing
- 7:30foxes. Then at one point, it was
- 7:32completely silent and just some wind.
- 7:36Then I started to hear the birds.
- 7:40Then I started to
- 7:43see the sky light up.
- 7:46Felt like I lived the whole day.
- 7:49Might have not gotten the best sleep,
- 7:51but it's those moments like I talked
- 7:52about previously that matter.
- 7:54The moments where you're in a pickle,
- 7:56the moments where you don't get the
- 7:58perfect 8 hours of sleep or
- 8:01the best recovery.
- 8:04Or even stuff like the best diet or the
- 8:07most amount of money. Whatever it is. I
- 8:10know I just said diet, but
- 8:12try to get better with the diet. I've
- 8:14gotten to the point where fruit tastes
- 8:16like literal candy. And literally
- 8:18everyone that knows me in person knows
- 8:20that I
- 8:21don't
- 8:22eat a lot of foods. I just eat single
- 8:25ingredient foods with simple
- 8:27ingredients. The next thing I have
- 8:29karaoke. Start wrestling.
- 8:32Use a mace bell. Play ping pong, tennis,
- 8:35swim. Go on a run. Just frolic around
- 8:39just cuz you can.
- 8:40Instead of scrolling on my phone, I
- 8:42would go outside and play hide-and-seek.
- 8:44Get flip flops.
- 8:46They're elite.
- 8:48Join the like-minded club. There's so
- 8:50many like-minded people that also want
- 8:53to grow, make their summer phenomenal,
- 8:55lower their screen time. It's in the
- 8:57description as well. There's also a
- 8:597-day challenge in there. You can DM
- 9:02people. You can even do daily missions
- 9:04inside of there that I post regularly
- 9:06in. I plan on doing fun events in there
- 9:09like chess tournaments
- 9:11or monthly challenges. So, join it. The
- 9:15next thing I have, purchase some tank
- 9:16tops.
- 9:18Go on a joy ride. Smile.
- 9:22Posture check.
- 9:24Drink some water, please. Try a new
- 9:26hairstyle. Get a buzz cut. Go on a solo
- 9:29trip,
- 9:30flight, explore some place alone.
- 9:35You don't have to
- 9:36wait for other people to do it with you.
- 9:39Meet some online friends. Mow the lawn.
- 9:42Work.
- 9:45Try painting.
- 9:47Eat some fruit.
- 9:50They taste so good. Read a book about
- 9:53nature. Learn how to do a muscle up and
- 9:56do the whole progression of working
- 9:58towards that.
- 10:00Try not to go on social media. You're
- 10:02not missing out.
- 10:04The way I like to think about it is that
- 10:06social media is missing out on me. I can
- 10:09live my own life and you get this
- 10:11unmatched presence and clarity. If you
- 10:14really want to cut down the amount of
- 10:16time
- 10:17you spend on screens and
- 10:20live it with more better
- 10:23meaningful things. Apply in the link in
- 10:25the description. Make a smoothie. Play
- 10:28basketball. Play cards. Make a fire.
- 10:31Catch a firefly. Sprint. Do a road trip.
- 10:35Get broke. Go all in on something.
- 10:39Do a cold plunge.
- 10:42Make selfies. Take a deep breath.
- 10:48Ask for things. Get rejected. Lower your
- 10:51ego. Do what I'm doing. Pick a blade of
- 10:53grass. Inspect it. Just think there's
- 10:57millions of these on the ground.
- 11:00And you just have one of them in your
- 11:02hands.
- 11:05Look at the stars in the night. Get an
- 11:08ab roller. Say you're locked in when
- 11:10you're at the beach. Use beef tallow.
- 11:13It's this fat that you can use to
- 11:15moisturize your skin. Build something.
- 11:18Host.
- 11:19Invite people to your house.
- 11:21Give a gift to someone.
- 11:24Do keep-ups.
- 11:25Hackey sack.
- 11:28Make a YouTube video just because.
- 11:31Bike somewhere.
- 11:33Do wall sits
- 11:36say yes
- 11:39to all the opportunities. Not all of
- 11:41them, but
- 11:43say no to stuff
- 11:45do a belly flop. I want you to right now
- 11:48say with me, "Let's go."
- 11:49Let's go.
- 11:51Let's freaking go.
- 11:55We have so many opportunities
- 11:57so much time, honestly, to just live it.
- 12:04You don't even have to be perfect.
- 12:06You just have to try. And something I've
- 12:08realized about finishing school
- 12:12is that
- 12:13all the moments now
- 12:16leading up
- 12:17to living the real world
- 12:21is that each moment I get is going to be
- 12:24one I'm going to be remembering for a
- 12:25long time.
- 12:28So, I knowing that
- 12:30I live it more fully. I
- 12:33enjoy it more.
- 12:34I stop worrying about the little things
- 12:37of
- 12:40what went on that day or what am I
- 12:43worrying about in the future, and I'm
- 12:45just enjoying that present moment.
- 12:47And
- 12:49think about that for your summer, too.
- 12:53Don't worry about if it's
- 12:55perfect if
- 12:57you fly to Dubai, and then you go to
- 13:00Greece, and then you go to United
- 13:02States, you do a trip across the
- 13:04continent, whatever it is.
- 13:08Don't worry about that.
- 13:11Just worry about
- 13:13making each day a day you would
- 13:15remember.
- 13:17And embrace it. Just
- 13:20cherish that
- 13:21feeling.
- 13:25Whether it's just the time you
- 13:27remembered you picked up that blade of
- 13:29grass
- 13:30and just
- 13:32threw it back into the grass.
- 13:36Those moments,
- 13:38appreciate them,
- 13:40live them,
- 13:43and you'll be happy. You won't have to
- 13:45set happy goals. You don't have to be
- 13:48like, "When I get this job, I'll be
- 13:49happy. When I will make this amount,
- 13:51I'll be happy. When
- 13:55I do X, Y, and Z, I'll be happy."
- 13:58It'll be more like, "I'm happy, so I get
- 14:01to do this and this and this.
- 14:03I'm happy, so I get to make more.
- 14:06I'm happy, so I can do this and this and
- 14:09this." It's not going to be perfect.
- 14:11Some days might be worse. Some days
- 14:13might be great, but
- 14:16it's all just cuz life is awesome.
- 14:18That's why.
- 14:20I don't know I didn't know what how I
- 14:21was to say it, but seriously.
- 14:25You can also go on a call with me,
- 14:27actually, too. Not only in the
- 14:29community, but if you apply,
- 14:34and I think we'd be a good fit to work
- 14:35together to lower your screen time. But,
- 14:38we can go on a call
- 14:40and I'll explain everything.
- 14:42So, have fun.
- 14:44Do some magic. Learn some stuff.
- 14:47Turn off the notifications.
- 14:50Try to
- 14:51get less blue light. Do natural things.
- 14:54Healthy things, the way that we've been
- 14:56doing it for thousands of years, like
- 15:00silk pillow cases,
- 15:04linen cotton clothes,
- 15:07using water filters.
- 15:09The next thing I want you to do is
- 15:12comment your summer goals.
- 15:15What are a few goals that you have for
- 15:16the summer that you want to do?
- 15:19And
- 15:20it's a way you can just
- 15:22hold yourself accountable
- 15:24to actually doing them and take some
- 15:27action towards it.
- 15:28I'm sure there'll be people checking up
- 15:30on you, seeing what how you've been
- 15:33doing.
- 15:35You can also do it in the free community
- 15:37I have.
- 15:38For me, it probably be surfing,
- 15:42helping some more people personally with
- 15:45screen time,
- 15:47and being able to
- 15:49do a backflip,
- 15:50hold the handstand for 10 seconds,
- 15:53things like that. Like bro, imagine I'd
- 15:55start just doing backflips
- 15:57in the middle of my video.
- 16:00So, subscribe, stick around so you can
- 16:01see that, and
- 16:03yeah. Hope you have a great summer. Make
- 16:05it count.
- 16:06Seriously. I know that might be
- 16:08overused. Whatever, you get the point.
- 16:10Bye.
- 16:11Bye-bye.
