- 0:00Today I'm going to show you over 100
- 0:02tips and tricks for all the mods 10. And
- 0:05if you find just a single tip helpful,
- 0:07make sure to hit that like and subscribe
- 0:09button and let's jump right in. Tip
- 0:11number one, you can set journey map to
- 0:13automatically map the caves beneath you
- 0:15in the settings. If you hit J, you can
- 0:17open up Journey Map, then click the
- 0:18settings button on the bottom. Under the
- 0:20cgraphy tab, you can find the always map
- 0:23caves button and make sure you check
- 0:25that box. Note that this might cause a
- 0:27little bit of performance issues, so
- 0:29make sure you uncheck it if it's just
- 0:30too much for your PC. Tip number two, as
- 0:32a pro tip, you can also turn off use
- 0:35cave lighting. This basically makes it
- 0:36whenever caves are mapped, they're full
- 0:38bright. They're not dark like they would
- 0:40normally be, and that makes it much
- 0:42easier to see what's in them. Note that
- 0:43this only works for newly mapped caves.
- 0:45So, this is a great tip when you're
- 0:47first starting out. Tip number three, by
- 0:48holding the tilda button, you can
- 0:50activate Ultramine, which allows you to
- 0:52harvest up to 64 blocks at once. This is
- 0:55great for chopping down entire trees at
- 0:57once or mining an entire ore node. You
- 0:59can also hold shift and the tilt button
- 1:01at the same time. Then scroll your mouse
- 1:03wheel to change the type of ultramine
- 1:04you want to use. There are several great
- 1:06modes, but personally, mining tunnel is
- 1:08my favorite in the early game. It just
- 1:10makes a staircase going down, which is
- 1:12great for your first mining adventure.
- 1:14Tip number four, whenever you've decided
- 1:16a place that you want to call your home,
- 1:18you can do slash setome. And whenever
- 1:20you want to teleport back to that one
- 1:22single spot, all you have to do is type
- 1:23in /home. Tip number five, whenever you
- 1:26do slashhome, you can teleport back to
- 1:28where you were at with slashback. This
- 1:31also works for if you die and you need
- 1:33to get right back to your stuff. Tip
- 1:34number six, when you die, you get a key
- 1:36to unlock your grave. If slashback is on
- 1:39cooldown or it just isn't working, maybe
- 1:41your server has disabled it or
- 1:43something, you can combine the key that
- 1:45you get with an ender pearl. Then use
- 1:47the key to teleport right to your grave.
- 1:51Tip number seven. Once you have your
- 1:52first crafting table, put it on a stick.
- 1:55The crafting table on a stick is a great
- 1:57item to craft on the go. Make sure to
- 1:59place it in the crafting stick slot in
- 2:01your curios. Then you can set a keybind
- 2:03for it by searching for open crafting on
- 2:06a stick in the keybind list. This makes
- 2:07it where you can just craft anywhere you
- 2:09want with a keybind. Tip number eight.
- 2:11Whenever you get your hands on enough
- 2:13copper, make a copper ore hammer to
- 2:15double your raw ores. This hammer will
- 2:17smash a raw ore into two dust, which can
- 2:20be smelted into ingots. The copper one
- 2:22really doesn't last that long, so the
- 2:24pro tip here is actually to use the
- 2:26platinum once you have some to make
- 2:28yourself a platinum orhammer. Tip number
- 2:30nine, to make building much easier,
- 2:31especially in the early game, you can
- 2:32make a construction stick. These work
- 2:34just like construction was if you ever
- 2:36use those. When you hold it in your hand
- 2:37and look at a block, it will place a
- 2:39bunch of blocks down all at once for
- 2:41you. So, when you right click on a face,
- 2:43it will basically extend those blocks in
- 2:45whatever direction that you're pointing
- 2:47as long as you have the blocks in your
- 2:48inventory. Tip number 10. If you hold a
- 2:51block in your off hand when you're using
- 2:52the construction stick, it will use that
- 2:54block instead whenever you're extending
- 2:56a block on a face. This is absolutely
- 2:59fantastic for placing a bunch of ores
- 3:01down all at once. Tip number 11. While
- 3:03there are different tiers of
- 3:04construction sticks, you can also
- 3:06upgrade them using the battery upgrade
- 3:08or the unbreakable upgrade. The battery
- 3:10upgrade will make it where you'll use
- 3:12power instead of durability, whereas the
- 3:14unbreakable upgrade makes it where it
- 3:16never breaks. These are both added using
- 3:18a smithing table. Tip number 12. Do you
- 3:21not like building your first starter
- 3:22base and you're like me and you kind of
- 3:24suck at it? You can use a supply camp or
- 3:26a supply ship from the mine colonies mod
- 3:29to make your own starter base. There are
- 3:30plenty to choose from, and some of them
- 3:32even come with hidden treasures, like
- 3:34blocks of gold or diamond. You can craft
- 3:36one of these, but you can only use it
- 3:38once. If you don't really like the one
- 3:40that you picked, but you've already
- 3:41placed it down, you won't be able to
- 3:42craft another one, so you'll have to
- 3:44find a free one inside of loot chests,
- 3:46like in villages. Tip number 13. When
- 3:48you're in a village, you can sneak right
- 3:50click to pick up a villager. All the
- 3:52mods 10 has the easy villagers mod,
- 3:54which makes building a trading hall much
- 3:56easier. Go ahead and make yourself a
- 3:58trader block. Then put down the villager
- 4:01in the trader block with their
- 4:02workstation for an easy oneb block
- 4:04trader solution. Tip number 14. If you
- 4:06have at least one villager, you can make
- 4:08an iron farm to make infinite iron over
- 4:11time. Craft and then place down the iron
- 4:13farm, then place in the villager to
- 4:14activate it. It's kind of slow, but it
- 4:17will passively generate around one iron
- 4:19ingot per minute. That's why you just
- 4:21make a bunch of them. Tip number 15.
- 4:22Maybe the sound of an iron golem dying
- 4:24in your base is getting annoying. You
- 4:26can mute any sound by clicking this
- 4:29button in your inventory and clicking
- 4:31the muffle button on the side. By
- 4:33default, the list will show the most
- 4:34recent sounds that you've heard. You can
- 4:36also search up any sound that you really
- 4:38just don't want to hear anymore. A
- 4:40>> tip number 16. Almost every single
- 4:42village you visit will have a way. These
- 4:44are basically teleporting stones that
- 4:46allow you to teleport to any other way
- 4:48that you've activated. You can break
- 4:50these with a pickaxe and use them for
- 4:52your own base
- 4:55or teleporting between the different
- 4:57dimensions. Tip number 17. When you are
- 4:59looting a village, keep an eye out for
- 5:01the infinite ham relic. It almost looks
- 5:04like a piece of chalk with like a little
- 5:06magnifying glass at the bottom right of
- 5:07it. It's really easy to miss, and trust
- 5:09me, I know this because I've missed
- 5:10plenty. This relic is basically infinite
- 5:13food in a single item. To activate it,
- 5:15you need to hover over it and hold shift
- 5:17to open up the research menu. Then you
- 5:20want to click on the abilities at the
- 5:21bottom. You click on the first ability,
- 5:23then connect the stars on the left side
- 5:25to unlock it. Tip number 18. Don't feel
- 5:28like figure out which stars actually
- 5:30connect. Me neither. Click the light
- 5:33bulb at the bottom of the relic menu to
- 5:34spend some of your experience to solve
- 5:36it for you. And if you need a bunch of
- 5:38experience, just turn in your quests.
- 5:40There's a quest for everything. Tip
- 5:41number 19. Villages have modded
- 5:43buildings in them as well. The trick
- 5:45here is that you want to keep an eye out
- 5:46for the buildings that have compressed
- 5:48bricks either as the flooring or as part
- 5:50of the roof. These are pneumatic
- 5:52buildings which can have advanced
- 5:54pressure pipes in the chest inside it.
- 5:56These are needed to make the all the mod
- 5:58star. Tip number 20. When you are in
- 6:00your inventory screen, you can hit T up
- 6:02the trash slot. With this active, you
- 6:04can drag items into the slot to delete
- 6:06them. You can also press the delete key
- 6:08to delete the item stack that you're
- 6:10hovering over. or if you hold shift and
- 6:13delete at the same time, it'll delete
- 6:15all stacks of that single item type.
- 6:17This is great when you're mining and
- 6:18your inventory fills with a ton of
- 6:19cobblestone and you don't really need
- 6:21it. Tip number 21. With your crafting
- 6:23table open, you can press the keybind K
- 6:26to compress a stack of an item into its
- 6:28block form. This works great for
- 6:30converting things like copper ingots
- 6:32into blocks to use for orammers. If you
- 6:34hold shift and press K at the same time,
- 6:36it will compress all of the stacks of an
- 6:38item into a block as well. Tip number
- 6:4022. One of the first things you should
- 6:42make when you get redstone is a pocket
- 6:45storage. These work just like danks for
- 6:47those who have used them before. When
- 6:49you open it, you can set the items that
- 6:50you want the pocket storage to collect
- 6:52for you automatically. The first tier
- 6:53will only hold up to 255 of eight
- 6:56different items, which makes it great
- 6:58for the different stone types that
- 7:00you'll find in the beginning while
- 7:01you're mining. Note that any items past
- 7:03the storage limit will automatically be
- 7:06voided in here. So to increase the
- 7:08storage limit, all you have to do is
- 7:09make the next tier. Tip number 23. Once
- 7:12you have some redstone, you can upgrade
- 7:13your chest by converting them into
- 7:15sophisticated storage chests. This can
- 7:17be done by combining a crafted chest
- 7:20with a redstone torch, or you can make
- 7:21the basic tier upgrades, and all you got
- 7:24to do is use these upgrades directly on
- 7:26the chest in the world. These chests can
- 7:27be upgraded to metal tiers and can also
- 7:30have upgrades installed in them, like
- 7:31stack upgrades. And yes, you can put two
- 7:34metal chests next to each other to make
- 7:36a double iron or better chest. Tip
- 7:39number 24. When you're searching for a
- 7:41specific item in an inventory, you can
- 7:43actually type the item name into JI,
- 7:46then doubleclick the search box to turn
- 7:48on highlight mode. This will highlight
- 7:50the item for you if it's in that
- 7:51inventory. You can also rightclick on
- 7:53the search box in JI to completely clear
- 7:55everything that you've typed. Special
- 7:57shout out to Vault the Insane for asking
- 7:59me to add that tip. Tip number 25. If
- 8:02and when you decide that you need to
- 8:04move, which we all know we do this,
- 8:06moving chests can kind of be a pain. But
- 8:08not anymore because you can craft the
- 8:10packing tape and use it on a chest to
- 8:12easily move it. This will wrap the chest
- 8:14or double chest in tape. Then you can
- 8:16break it to pick it up as a single item.
- 8:19Once you place the chest back down, it
- 8:21will remove the tape entirely and you
- 8:23can open it up just like normal. Tip
- 8:24number 26. If you have a ton of a single
- 8:27type of item you want to store, don't
- 8:29store it in a chest. you're just taking
- 8:30up extra slots. Make a drawer from the
- 8:32functional storage mod. These can store
- 8:34a ton of a single item if you're using
- 8:36the one by one drawers. Or it can store
- 8:38two of a bunch of items in the 1x two or
- 8:41four types of items with the 2x two
- 8:43drawers. Stacks of items can easily be
- 8:46placed in all at once just by double
- 8:48right-clicking on a drawer. And this
- 8:49will make unloading from a mining trip
- 8:51much easier. Tip number 27. Tired of
- 8:54having to craft nuggets or blocks of
- 8:56items by hand? You can make a compacting
- 8:59drawer to do the work for you by placing
- 9:01in a nugget of the item type that you
- 9:03want, say an iron or gold nugget, it
- 9:05will automatically convert it to both
- 9:06ingots and blocks for you. For items
- 9:08like redstone that really only have
- 9:10block forms, you can make simple
- 9:12compacting drawers instead. These are
- 9:14great for items like diamonds, redstone,
- 9:15glow stone, certise, pretty much
- 9:17everything else that isn't iron or gold.
- 9:19Tip number 28. Once you get a decent
- 9:21amount of drawers going for items,
- 9:23you're probably not going to want to sit
- 9:24here and rightclick each drawer. So,
- 9:26this is when you need to make a storage
- 9:28controller and a linking tool. The
- 9:30storage controller doesn't have to be
- 9:32touching a drawer to link to it, which
- 9:34is why you need to use a linking tool.
- 9:36I'm sure a lot of you already know how
- 9:38to use the storage controller to link up
- 9:40to your drawers. But here's the pro tip
- 9:42that you might not know. If you sneak
- 9:44right click onto the controller, you can
- 9:46install upgrades into it. This might not
- 9:47seem much at first, but it actually gets
- 9:49kind of crazy. It pretty much covers
- 9:52your entire base if you use it this way,
- 9:54which means you can link drawers all
- 9:56over your base and just have a
- 9:59completely wireless drawer setup for a
- 10:01storage room. Tip number 29. Functional
- 10:03storage also has fluid drawers, but the
- 10:05cool part about them is that they have
- 10:07special upgrades like the dripping
- 10:09upgrade. This can be stalled in a fluid
- 10:10drawer to make infinite lava over time.
- 10:13Tip number 30. Once you've made some of
- 10:15the dripping upgrades, you can also make
- 10:17the obsidian upgrades for your regular
- 10:19drawers. This will passively make
- 10:21obsidian over time. Tip number 31. The
- 10:24best onthe-go storage solution is always
- 10:27going to be a sophisticated backpack.
- 10:30You can upgrade these to the metal tiers
- 10:32just like the sophisticated chests. And
- 10:34they can even be upgraded with stack
- 10:36upgrades and plenty of really cool
- 10:38upgrades that I love. Tip number 32. If
- 10:41you want to never worry about eating
- 10:43again, just take and make the feeding
- 10:45upgrade for your backpack. Of course,
- 10:46you're going to have some kind of food.
- 10:48So, bonus tip, couple this with either
- 10:50the everlasting beef or the infinite ham
- 10:52and you will never have to worry about
- 10:54eating ever again. Tip number 33,
- 10:56leather is kind of a pain and we need
- 10:59leather to make backpacks. The tip here
- 11:01is to go out and make yourself a drying
- 11:03basin from Integrated Dynamics. This
- 11:05will take and convert your rotten flesh
- 11:07and dry it into leather over time. Tip
- 11:10number 34. One of my favorite ways to
- 11:12transfer a ton of items is actually by
- 11:15using the deposit upgrade for your
- 11:17backpack. I normally set up a mining
- 11:19backpack that has a magnet upgrade to
- 11:21collect everything while I'm mining.
- 11:22Then when I get back to base, I can use
- 11:24the deposit upgrade to deposit
- 11:26everything into my drawer system all at
- 11:28once. Tip number 35. If you're going
- 11:30through the quest line, you're going to
- 11:32get a ton of rewards. Even if you're not
- 11:34going through the quest line, you get a
- 11:35ton of reward. You literally just fly
- 11:37over places and it's like, "Hey,
- 11:38congratulations. Quest complete." My
- 11:40personal suggestion would be to set up a
- 11:42backpack with a magnet upgrade. Place it
- 11:44down and then use this button in the top
- 11:47right of your quest screen to accept
- 11:49everything all at once. When your
- 11:51inventory gets full and the quest items
- 11:53drop on the ground, the backpack will
- 11:55catch everything for you hopefully. Tip
- 11:57number 36. Not lucky enough to find the
- 11:59infinite ham or the everlasting steak?
- 12:01Make the juicer from Pam's Harvest Craft
- 12:04and combine that with three apples in a
- 12:06crafting table. This will make you fruit
- 12:08punch, which is literally the best food
- 12:10to make. This is actually what I used in
- 12:12the entirety of my speedrun because I'm
- 12:14blind and didn't see the infinite am.
- 12:15I'm really bad at the game. Tip number
- 12:1737. There are a ton of cool potion
- 12:19effects in the pack. And you can make
- 12:21most of them infinite by using an
- 12:23infusion pylon. You can go ahead and
- 12:25make the infusion pylon, but you'll also
- 12:27need the potion filter to make things
- 12:29work. Then get the effect you would like
- 12:31to make infinite. For example, you can
- 12:33easily give yourself infinite night
- 12:34vision by just making some night vision
- 12:36potions that last for about 8 minutes
- 12:38each. You drink one, then you right
- 12:40click with the filter in your hand and
- 12:42it will absorb the night vision effect
- 12:44onto the filter. Just repeat this until
- 12:46you have 60 minutes worth of the effect
- 12:48onto the card and it'll tell you in a
- 12:49stun. Then take and put that into the
- 12:51infusion pylon. As long as the infusion
- 12:54pylon is chunk loaded, it will give you
- 12:56the effect infinitely. Tip number 38.
- 12:58Using the infusion pylon, you can make
- 13:01infinite creative flight pretty easily
- 13:03by making potions of flying. It only
- 13:06takes three potions in total to make
- 13:08enough for the infinite effect. You will
- 13:10need some phantom membrane and some
- 13:12popcorn to make these, but it's actually
- 13:13pretty cheap to make overall, especially
- 13:15for infinite creative flight. Tip number
- 13:1739. If you need temporary flight and you
- 13:19can't really make the infinite flight
- 13:21potions, you can use a balloon on a
- 13:23stick from Zycraft. When you place this
- 13:25down, you'll get connected to this lead
- 13:26and you'll have creative flight as long
- 13:28as you stay within about eight blocks
- 13:30from the post. Tip number 40. If you're
- 13:32looking for a specific sapling or seed,
- 13:34make the market. When you place it down,
- 13:36this guy falls from the sky,
- 13:39breaks his leg, and then he'll sell you
- 13:41pretty much any food seed that you want
- 13:43for the price of one emerald. As a pro
- 13:45tip, you can buy aloe seeds from them,
- 13:48and this can be used to make infinite
- 13:50slime balls. Tip number 41. Looking to
- 13:53get honey without having to wait for
- 13:54bees to make the honey for you? Use an
- 13:56ender pearl on a beehive to teleport to
- 13:59the bumble zone. Not only is this place
- 14:01pretty cool, but you'll find basically
- 14:03infinite combs everywhere and honey
- 14:05blocks. It's super easy to grab honey
- 14:07here. Tip number 42. While in the bumble
- 14:10zone, you want to keep an eye out for
- 14:11the hanging garden structure. Within one
- 14:14of the platforms, you can find the
- 14:16crystalline flower. This can easily just
- 14:18be broken. And make sure you grab the
- 14:19crystal block that it was planted on as
- 14:21well. When you plant this flower down,
- 14:23it has to be planted on a crystal type
- 14:25block. Whether you're using the honey
- 14:27crystals that you just broke or it could
- 14:28be using amethyst blocks, whatever you
- 14:31decide to use. The cool part about this
- 14:33flower is that when you open it up, you
- 14:34can give it experience and a book and
- 14:36choose from almost any of the
- 14:38enchantments available in the pack for
- 14:40just the cost of some experience. This
- 14:42is amazing. Tip number 43. One of the
- 14:45best enchantments to get is called
- 14:47Nature's Blessing. It might not look
- 14:49like much, but when you put this onto a
- 14:51hoe, you can instantly bone meal any
- 14:54crop for the cost of durability. But if
- 14:56you put it on a hoe that doesn't break,
- 14:58you can just bone meal things
- 15:00infinitely. Like that aloe I was talking
- 15:02about earlier, you just infinitely bone
- 15:03meal it and you have infinite slime
- 15:05because all you got to do is rightclick.
- 15:06Tip number 44. Using the crystalline
- 15:09flower, you should grab the decrepitude
- 15:11enchant for your weapons. This enchant
- 15:13will cause mobs to kind of bleed a
- 15:16percentage of their health over time.
- 15:17This is really good for beefy mobs like
- 15:19the warden or the piglitch. Tip number
- 15:2145. If you want to find a specific
- 15:24biome, you want to make the nature's
- 15:26compass. When you open this up and use
- 15:27it, it will allow you to search for any
- 15:29biome in the pack and will point you in
- 15:31the direction of the nearest one. Tip
- 15:33number 46. One of the best pickaxes to
- 15:35make in the early game is the steam
- 15:36drill from Modern Industrialization.
- 15:39Now, trust me, I know MI sounds scary.
- 15:41This is really not that bad. This drill
- 15:44never breaks. It has a silk touch mode
- 15:46that you can toggle on and off and it
- 15:48can mine in a 3x3 area by default. It's
- 15:52only powered by coal. To put coal into
- 15:54it, you just pick up the coal and then
- 15:56right click on your steam drill to put
- 15:57it in. And then all you have to do is
- 15:59have a bucket of water in your
- 16:00inventory. That's it. That's all there
- 16:01is to it and you use it anytime you
- 16:03want. The recipe might look a little
- 16:04crazy. You really only need a little bit
- 16:06of copper, iron, and some diamonds to
- 16:08make everything. Tip number 47. You can
- 16:10break and move spawners with any pickaxe
- 16:13with silk touch, including the steam
- 16:14drill. Steam drill is pretty good, man.
- 16:16Tip number 48. While silk touch is
- 16:18pretty great for grabbing certain
- 16:19blocks, certain blocks can't really be
- 16:21broken with the enchant, like the button
- 16:23blocks from AE2. Instead, make yourself
- 16:25a cardboard box to move them around.
- 16:27This only takes four sawdust to make,
- 16:29which brings me to tip number 49. Don't
- 16:32use the sawmill for mechanism to make
- 16:34sawdust. You're wasting your resources.
- 16:36Instead, make the sawmill from
- 16:38productive trees. This is a much cheaper
- 16:40recipe that doesn't require power and it
- 16:42converts logs directly into sawdust. Tip
- 16:45number 50. The extractors from Zycraft
- 16:47have to be one of my favorite machines
- 16:49to get infinite amounts of some of the
- 16:51niche resources. Using these, you can
- 16:54get things like flux dust from a charged
- 16:56redstone crystal block, dragon eggs, sky
- 16:59stone dust, certis dust from flawless
- 17:02budding certise blocks, and so many
- 17:04other things. You need to check these
- 17:06out. Tip number 51. One of my favorite
- 17:09ways to collect liquids in the early
- 17:10game is actually by using a basic fluid
- 17:13tank from Mechanism. While holding it in
- 17:16your hand, you can scroll your mouse
- 17:17wheel to set it to bucket mode, which
- 17:19will allow you to scoop up to like I
- 17:20think it's 32 blocks worth of liquid in
- 17:23the beginning. You can also sneak right
- 17:24click in bucket mode to place down a
- 17:26bucket of fluid into the world. Or you
- 17:28can turn off bucket mode and just place
- 17:30it down so you can extract from it. Tip
- 17:32number 52. You're going to be finding
- 17:33condensed blood in chests, so make sure
- 17:35you pick these up because these can be
- 17:37placed in any type of fluid storage to
- 17:40convert it into blood. The basic fluid
- 17:42tank even has a slot for you to put them
- 17:44into, and this will deposit all of the
- 17:47blood at once. Tip number 53. Why do you
- 17:50need all of that blood? Because Evil
- 17:52Craft has one of the easiest ways to get
- 17:54the Fortune 5 enchant by making the
- 17:56vengeance pickaxe. You'll need to make a
- 17:58blood infuser first, which requires
- 18:00drying some blood. in that drying basin
- 18:02we made earlier and then smelting the
- 18:04dried block afterwards in a furnace. To
- 18:07make the blood infusion core, you'll
- 18:08need five buckets of blood and place
- 18:11them into the world. Then throw a dark
- 18:13gem into them and it will suck up the
- 18:15blood and turn it into a dark power gem.
- 18:17Once you have the blood infuser using
- 18:19the dark power gem, give it some more
- 18:21blood and then throw in a dead bush to
- 18:24convert it into an undead sapling. Take
- 18:26your hoe that has nature's blessing on
- 18:28it and insta grow the sapling. Then
- 18:29break it down and use the logs to make
- 18:31dark sticks. Now you should have
- 18:33everything you need to make the
- 18:34vengeance pickaxe with some diamonds and
- 18:36dried blood shards. Tip number 54. You
- 18:38can remove any enchant off using a
- 18:40simple trick. All you need to do is take
- 18:42the item with the enchants on it, throw
- 18:44it down and some books onto a block of
- 18:46obsidian, then drop an anvil on top of
- 18:49all of them. This will strip the enchant
- 18:51off. So strip that fortune 5 enchant off
- 18:54the vengeance pickaxe and put it on your
- 18:55own pickaxe. Tip number 55. Evil Craft
- 18:58also has an easy looting too enchant,
- 19:01which you can get by making vein swords.
- 19:03Tip number 56. You might have noticed
- 19:05that there aren't many boss mobs in the
- 19:07world spawning like the previous
- 19:09versions of the all the mods packs. This
- 19:10is because Apotheiois has changed the
- 19:12way their system works. If you press
- 19:14CtrlT, you can open up the world tiers
- 19:17page. Each stage increases the rarity of
- 19:19items found and will give you some extra
- 19:21stats like luck or experience gain. To
- 19:23unlock the sages, you can press L to
- 19:25open up the advancements page and look
- 19:27for the apotheic world tiers tab, which
- 19:30has a little skull on it to make it
- 19:31easy. Here you can find out the
- 19:33requirements to unlock the next stage.
- 19:35Pro tip, just pretty much equip every
- 19:37single rarity type that you find in
- 19:39every armor slot and including your
- 19:41weapon slot. You'll also need to kill
- 19:43the Ender Dragon, the wither, and an
- 19:45invader. Tip number 57. Osmium is still
- 19:48one of the best metals to use to make
- 19:50tools and armor with, especially in the
- 19:52early game. In all the mods 10, however,
- 19:54you will need at least a diamond pickaxe
- 19:56to mine. Tip number 58. The Osmium Paxel
- 19:59is one of the highest damage dealing
- 20:01weapons in the pack with a base of 14
- 20:04attack damage. It also makes for a great
- 20:06all-in-one tool. Tip 59. If you're out
- 20:09mining and your diamonds keep dropping
- 20:11into lava, make a simple magnet to suck
- 20:14it in before it gets destroyed. As a pro
- 20:16tip, you can also set a keybind to
- 20:18toggle the magnet on and off. Tip number
- 20:2060, furnaces can be upgraded to metal
- 20:23tiers all the way to unobtanium thanks
- 20:25to the mod iron furnace. This makes them
- 20:28a little faster with each upgrade. It
- 20:30also gives them access to even more
- 20:32upgrades using augments. Tip number 61.
- 20:35While the iron furnaces work really fast
- 20:38at the higher tiers, you can smelt
- 20:39things even faster by making a simple
- 20:42blasting setup using create. You'll need
- 20:45an encased fan, a water wheel, a chute,
- 20:47a chest, and a bucket of lava. Start by
- 20:50placing down the fan. Then connecting
- 20:52the water wheel to the back of it. To
- 20:53the right of the water wheel, place down
- 20:56a bucket of water so that it starts
- 20:58spinning the wheel to the right. You can
- 20:59step in front of the fan and see if it
- 21:01blows you away. This is important. Now,
- 21:03in front of the fan, you want to place
- 21:04down two blocks on each side like this,
- 21:07and then a pressure plate in front of
- 21:09that block space. This empty block right
- 21:11here is where you'll put the lava. I
- 21:12also suggest on covering everything up
- 21:14with blocks so that it doesn't set
- 21:16everything else on fire from the lava.
- 21:18Next, in front of that pressure plate,
- 21:20place down a chute so that items will
- 21:22fall right in front of that pressure
- 21:23plate. You can place down a chest on top
- 21:25of the chute. And whenever you need
- 21:26items to smelt, just throw them in the
- 21:28chest and watch the magic happen.
- 21:32As a pro tip, you can smelt down blocks
- 21:35of raw ores all at once using this, and
- 21:37it's so good. Tip number 62. Red stone
- 21:40can be a pain sometimes to find, but you
- 21:42can search for the redstone caves biome
- 21:44using a nature's compass to find all of
- 21:47the redstone you might ever need, at
- 21:49least for the early game. The blocks and
- 21:51stone you find in this biome can be
- 21:53smelted down or directly converted into
- 21:55redstone. Want to smelt it all down
- 21:57fast? Use the create blast setup. Tip
- 22:00number 63. If you're looking for one of
- 22:02the easiest ways to make a decent amount
- 22:04of power in the early game, the wind
- 22:06generators from Mechanism have their
- 22:08default values for now. as of posting
- 22:10this video, meaning they're pretty
- 22:11strong overall, as long as they don't
- 22:13nerf it. This makes it a great choice
- 22:15for your first power source and can even
- 22:17charge items in the interface. Tip
- 22:19number 64. When using most mechanism
- 22:21machines like the metallurgic infuser,
- 22:24maybe you're trying to make the wind
- 22:25generator. You can put redstone directly
- 22:27into the energy slot to give it power.
- 22:30This makes it where you don't actually
- 22:31have to have a power source to begin
- 22:33with, especially if you're trying to
- 22:34make the wind generators in the early
- 22:36game. Tip number 65. If you haven't
- 22:38gotten flight yet, even though we've
- 22:40talked about several ways to get it, the
- 22:42easiest way to get flight in the early
- 22:44game is by making a jetpack. This starts
- 22:46with the wooden tiers, but can easily be
- 22:48upgraded to fly much faster and much
- 22:51longer. Tip number 66. Once you have
- 22:54power going, you can upgrade your iron
- 22:56furnaces with a factory augment. This
- 22:58converts the furnace to use power
- 23:00instead of coal and will increase the
- 23:03amount of items it can smelt at the same
- 23:05time. Tip number 67. The pipes from the
- 23:08pipes mod is one of the easiest ways to
- 23:10get into early game automation. Each
- 23:12type of pipe is really easy to make and
- 23:15can help you create simple automated
- 23:17setups like converting flesh into
- 23:19leather using the drying basin. Tip
- 23:21number 68. If you want to wirelessly
- 23:23charge your jetpack but haven't gotten
- 23:24into flux networks yet, you can make a
- 23:27player transmitter from powerupa. The
- 23:29most expensive part about this recipe in
- 23:31the early game is needing the one ender
- 23:33pearl. You'll need to make the
- 23:34transmitter and a binding card to place
- 23:37inside of it. Before any of this works,
- 23:39you need to hold the binding card in
- 23:41your hand and then right click to set
- 23:42ownership of it. Then you can put it in
- 23:44the transmitter and give the transmitter
- 23:46some power. This will make it where the
- 23:48transmitter will power your stuff
- 23:50wherever you're at in that dimension.
- 23:51But if you want it to work across
- 23:53dimensions, all you got to do is use the
- 23:54binding card on an Enderman and then
- 23:57place it back in for wireless power
- 23:59across all dimensions. Tip number 69.
- 24:02You can wirelessly power machines in an
- 24:04area using the energy transmitter from
- 24:07just dire things. This is amazing to use
- 24:09for things like farms using the growth
- 24:11accelerators for AE2. Just one of these
- 24:14can power an entire 5x5 area. Tip number
- 24:1770. If you're needing ender pearls in
- 24:19the early game, one of the best places
- 24:20to get them is in this dungeon right
- 24:22here. Each one of these dungeons has a
- 24:24ton of loot and the chests can come with
- 24:27several ender pearls in each. Tip number
- 24:2971. Make sure to use the gates from the
- 24:32gateways to eternity mod. If you
- 24:34complete just one gate, you will be
- 24:36swimming in mob drops for a good while.
- 24:38I personally suggest on making your
- 24:40first gate the enderman gate, which
- 24:42requires about five ender pearls and one
- 24:45blaze powder. Most of the other gates
- 24:47require an ender pearl. So, by defeating
- 24:49the enderman gate, you will have plenty
- 24:51to use. Tip number 72. Spawners can be
- 24:54upgraded to be much better using
- 24:56specific items. If you want to know
- 24:58which items are needed to upgrade them,
- 25:00just search for a spawner in Ji and then
- 25:02hit U to look at all of the items. At
- 25:04Alamod 10, there is a new upgrade called
- 25:07echoing that makes the mobs drop even
- 25:10more loot. Tip number 73. You can change
- 25:13the mob that spawns from a spawner by
- 25:15using a spawn egg on it. The easiest way
- 25:17to get a spawn egg is by using the mod
- 25:20mob grinding utilities. You want to make
- 25:22a mob swab first, then swab the mob that
- 25:25you want to make an egg for. Combine
- 25:26this with a seed, a bucket of
- 25:28experience, and the swab, and it'll give
- 25:30you chicken feed. You feed this to a
- 25:32chicken, and it will give you the mob
- 25:35egg that you need. Tip number 74. The
- 25:37experience holder from Just Dire Things
- 25:40is the best way to store and collect
- 25:42experience from your mob farms. You can
- 25:43open up the interface and set the area
- 25:45that you want to collect the experience
- 25:47at, and make sure you click on the
- 25:49collect experience button to toggle it
- 25:50on and off. It's also one of the easiest
- 25:52ways to get a bucket of experience from.
- 25:54Tip number 75. One of the best spawners
- 25:56that you can get is a cave creeper
- 25:59spawner. When killed, these guys drop
- 26:01diamonds, emeralds, raw iron, and raw
- 26:03gold. This is actually what I use to get
- 26:05all the gold needed for the all the mod
- 26:07star. Tip number 76. If you can't find a
- 26:10specific mob for your farm, like the
- 26:12cave creeper, make the rotten egg from
- 26:14the mob grinding utilities mod. You can
- 26:16make this by making the cursed chicken
- 26:18feed first, then feeding that to a
- 26:20chicken to get the rotten egg. In the
- 26:21overworld, you can find a dark place and
- 26:23put a 5x5 dirt floor on it. Make sure
- 26:26it's dark. Then, when you use the rotten
- 26:28egg on the dirt, it will convert it over
- 26:30into dreadful dirt, which will increase
- 26:32the natural spawn rate of hostile mobs
- 26:34on the dirt. You can toggle the spawning
- 26:36on and off by placing down a torch. Note
- 26:38that this does not work in the mining
- 26:40dimension. Tip number 77. One simple
- 26:42trick to making the dreadful dirt faster
- 26:44is by giving it a fast redstone pulse.
- 26:46You can do this by making a redstone
- 26:49clock. Just run some redstone underneath
- 26:50the dreadful dirt and then set it up
- 26:52with a lever. This can be great for an
- 26:54early game mob farm. Tip number 78. If
- 26:57you want to stop all hostile mobs from
- 26:59naturally spawning around your base,
- 27:01make a mega torch. If you want all
- 27:03passive mobs to stop spawning, make a
- 27:05dread lamp or just live in the mining
- 27:07dimension. Tip number 79. You can easily
- 27:09light up dark spaces in your base by
- 27:11using a fereral flare lantern. When
- 27:13placed, this will automatically place
- 27:15down phantom light sources to light up
- 27:17any dark spots near it. Tip number 80.
- 27:19To speed up your farmland, make sure you
- 27:21use red fertilizer on the farmland and
- 27:24then surround the crops with growth
- 27:26accelerators from AE2. Tip number 81. If
- 27:29you need an infinite source of water for
- 27:31machines in the early game, the easiest
- 27:33thing you can make is a sink. Tip number
- 27:3582. If you are making a large farm with
- 27:38lily pads and you're tired of having to
- 27:40scoop up water over and over, make the
- 27:42eternal water bucket using evilcraft. To
- 27:45do this, you need to start by making an
- 27:46empty weather container. Then refine
- 27:48yourself a dark temple. These are
- 27:50everywhere and are super easy to find.
- 27:52Throw the empty weather container into
- 27:54the beam that's in the middle. Then with
- 27:56the item that it gives you, craft up the
- 27:58rain weather container by combining it
- 28:00with water buckets. This can be used to
- 28:03make the eternal water bucket, which is
- 28:05essentially an infinite water bucket.
- 28:07Tip number 83. Once you have the ability
- 28:10to make the weather containers, you can
- 28:12also make the eternal water blocks as
- 28:14well using those same rain weather
- 28:16containers. These are much better to use
- 28:18than sinks for infinite water for things
- 28:21like machines. That's because these will
- 28:22automatically push out the max amount of
- 28:25water that it can handle into the block
- 28:27that it's connected to without the need
- 28:29of pipes. Tip number 84. If you haven't
- 28:31made the explorer's compass yet to
- 28:33locate structures, you can find several
- 28:34important structures using the RS locate
- 28:37ritual. I actually use this to find the
- 28:39ancient city in the early game. The most
- 28:41important items that you'll need to make
- 28:42the ritual stuff is a vexing lug, about
- 28:45six or so source gems, and some
- 28:47amethyst. Tip number 85, you can use a
- 28:50cutting board to break down blocks into
- 28:52crystals, like breaking amethyst down
- 28:54into shards or quartz from smooth quartz
- 28:56blocks. Tip number 86, you can make an
- 28:59infinite source generator in the early
- 29:00game for ours just by using snad, a
- 29:02redstone clock, and some cactus. Place
- 29:05down your redstone clock and then a
- 29:06couple blocks above it, put just any
- 29:08block that you have. Now you can place
- 29:11snad around each side of the redstone
- 29:13clock. And on the side, we're going to
- 29:14set up some kind of collection for the
- 29:15cactus. For me, I'm just going to use a
- 29:17drawer with a basic item collector put
- 29:19on top. And I'm going to increase the
- 29:21range to make sure that it grabs all the
- 29:22cactus that's going to be growing. Make
- 29:24sure that you put a void upgrade into
- 29:26the drawer if you're going to do this.
- 29:27And this will keep it from overflowing.
- 29:29Now, all you have to do is place down
- 29:31your cactus, your aggronomic source
- 29:34link, and your source jar, and you have
- 29:35infinite early game source. Tip number
- 29:3887. Let's be honest with each other.
- 29:39You're probably going to want to make
- 29:40that explorer's compass eventually. Use
- 29:42the R's locate structure ritual to find
- 29:45the ancient city. This can easily be
- 29:47done by activating the ritual with a
- 29:49deep slate brick. Once you get the
- 29:50compass and follow it to the ancient
- 29:52city, inside of the chest of the ancient
- 29:54city, you'll find plenty of echo shards
- 29:56that you can use to make the explorer's
- 29:58compass. You'll also find some really
- 29:59good enchants and if you're lucky, the
- 30:02night vision goggles in the chest. Tip
- 30:04number 88. Using that same steam drill,
- 30:07you can mine up the skullk, shriers, and
- 30:09catalyst while you're there. You should
- 30:10definitely do this anyway because these
- 30:12are needed for some in-game recipes. So,
- 30:14it's great to grab this while you're
- 30:15already there. Tip number 89. You know
- 30:17what else is in the ancient city? All
- 30:19theore. The ancient city is the best
- 30:21place to find all the modora in the
- 30:23overworld, but you can also find it in
- 30:25any of the deep dark biomes. It's not as
- 30:27easy to find, but this is something that
- 30:29I actually didn't know. Tip number 90.
- 30:31All the modium can be mined with more
- 30:33than just a Netherite pickaxe. You can
- 30:35use the steam drill or an inferior
- 30:37pickaxe. Tip number 91. Use your first
- 30:40piece of all the modium to make a
- 30:42teleport pad. When you place this in the
- 30:44overworld and sneak right click on it
- 30:46with empty hands, both hands have to be
- 30:47empty. It will teleport you to the
- 30:49mining dimension. This is definitely the
- 30:52best place to find all the modium as
- 30:54well as pretty much every ore in the
- 30:56game except for unoptanium I guess. Tip
- 30:58number 92. The best Y level to mine in
- 31:01the mining dimension is around Y level
- 31:03112. At this level you can find
- 31:05almonium. You can find coal, diamonds,
- 31:08copper, gold, iron, lapis, redstone.
- 31:10There's so many ores you can find at
- 31:12this level. It's my personal favorite.
- 31:14Tip number 93. If you're having trouble
- 31:16finding a specific ore while you're
- 31:17mining, like all the modium, you can
- 31:19make ore sight potions from the mod
- 31:21Potions Master. This can be a great way
- 31:23to find a ton of whatever ore that
- 31:25you're looking for. To do this, you'll
- 31:26need to make the mortar and pestle from
- 31:28the mod first. Next, you want to crush
- 31:30down an ender pearl using the mortar and
- 31:32pestle in a crafting table. Then you'll
- 31:34combine the raw ore that you want to
- 31:36make the potion for. In this case, a raw
- 31:37autamium. You'll combine this with the
- 31:40mortar, the pestle, the ender powder,
- 31:41and a piece of redstone and glowstone.
- 31:44This will give you a powder that you'll
- 31:45pretty much need to run through a blast
- 31:46furnace and then you can combine it with
- 31:48mundane potions to make the orite
- 31:51potions. Tip number 94. Don't drink any
- 31:53of the potions because if you made
- 31:55three, you can combine three potions
- 31:57with six blaze powders to make a charm.
- 32:00This will give you the effect of the
- 32:01sight potions that you can toggle on and
- 32:03off whenever you need it. Tip number 95.
- 32:06If you use the teleport pad in the
- 32:08Nether, you can teleport to the other.
- 32:09This place does have some of the best
- 32:11in-game loot, but it is also very
- 32:14dangerous in all the mods 10.
- 32:16Thankfully, you can fly here. Tip number
- 32:1896. Using the teleport pad in the end
- 32:20will teleport you to the beyond. This is
- 32:22a great place to go if you're a fan of
- 32:25doing sky block style worlds as this is
- 32:28pretty much a void world with a single
- 32:30block. Tip number 97. The building
- 32:32gadget is the builder's best friend.
- 32:34That's why it's called the building
- 32:36gadget. Built is right there in the
- 32:37name. It is great to use for building
- 32:40your house. But the best tip that I can
- 32:41tell you with this is that you can use
- 32:43this to build out multiblocks like from
- 32:45extreme reactors. You can open up the
- 32:46menu and my keybind is G. You might have
- 32:48to go and find it in your keybind
- 32:50settings and set it to specific sizes to
- 32:53help you build out any of the
- 32:54multilocks. You can also use the copy
- 32:57paste gadget to copy multiblocks over.
- 32:59And this works great for copying over
- 33:01multiblocks like the thermal evaporation
- 33:03towers. Tip number 98. The exchanging
- 33:06gadget isn't just used for exchanging
- 33:08blocks for builders. This can also be
- 33:11used to instantly grab a bunch of
- 33:13obsidian all at once. Basically, all you
- 33:15need to do is place down a block that
- 33:17you have a ton of. Let's say
- 33:18cobblestone. Sneak right click with the
- 33:21gadget in your hand on the cobblestone
- 33:22to set it. Then head to the end. Now you
- 33:25can open up the settings menu, set it to
- 33:27surface, and turn the slider all the way
- 33:30up. and then right click on the obsidian
- 33:32on the towers to instantly just get all
- 33:35of the obsidian without having to spend
- 33:36the time to break it. It's so nice. Tip
- 33:39number 99. The destruction gadget is an
- 33:41amazing gadget because it not only makes
- 33:44giant holes if you want to build
- 33:45underground, it also doesn't destroy any
- 33:48of the alamodium ores like alamodium,
- 33:50vibranium, or unoptanium. This makes it
- 33:52amazing to use to find things like
- 33:54unoptanium in the end. Tip number 100,
- 33:56the destruction gadget will also not
- 33:59destroy chests unless you toggle it in
- 34:01the settings. This means that you can
- 34:03use it to destroy entire villages or
- 34:05bastions, so you can loot just the
- 34:07chests without having to deal with all
- 34:09the mobs. Tip number 101. For the final
- 34:12tip, one of the easiest ways to get
- 34:14infinite dragon's breath is by using a
- 34:17dragon's head and an extractor. In the
- 34:19inn, locate an in city and look for the
- 34:22ship, the same one that you find in
- 34:23elytra in. At the very front of the
- 34:25ship, you'll find a dragon's head. That
- 34:28is over 100 tips and tricks you can use
- 34:30in all the mods 10. If any of these help
- 34:33you, make sure to hit that like and
- 34:34subscribe button. And I want to thank
- 34:35you so much for watching. And until next
- 34:37time, bye-bye.
