10 Most Disturbing Things Caught on Doorbell Camera Footage — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:12In this first video, this house's Ring
- 0:15doorbell captured a man walk up to the
- 0:17front door in the middle of the night.
- 0:19But rather than actually knocking on the
- 0:21door or ringing the doorbell, the man
- 0:23pretends to do so. At first, it seems
- 0:26odd until you realize what's actually
- 0:28going on. Near the left side of the
- 0:30screen, a car's headlights can be seen.
- 0:33It's clear whoever is driving the
- 0:35vehicle is making this guy walk up and
- 0:37talk to the house owner for a seemingly
- 0:39sinister purpose, as the guy obviously
- 0:42doesn't want to do it. I mean, so much
- 0:44so that he fakes knocking on the door
- 0:46and even fakes a conversation with the
- 0:47house owner. All the while making sure
- 0:50the driver can see him doing so.
- 1:10Okay. Sorry about that. Sorry. Sorry.
- 1:24From the fake conversation, it's clear
- 1:27the driver wants the man to look for
- 1:28someone named Matt. One comment guessed
- 1:31the man could have been being forced to
- 1:32rob the place, but didn't want to do it,
- 1:34making him fake the whole situation and
- 1:36claim no Matt lived there. But to this
- 1:39day, the real motives of the driver are
- 1:41still unclear.
- 1:46This footage features a random woman
- 1:48walking up to someone's front door. The
- 1:50woman clearly isn't acting normal, or at
- 1:52least until a car passes, where she
- 1:54breaks character so as not to draw
- 1:56attention to herself. After the car is
- 1:58gone, the woman can be seen putting her
- 2:00face right up to the camera.
- 2:03[Music]
- 2:07After watching the disturbing footage,
- 2:09the house owner would claim he had no
- 2:10idea who the woman was.
- 2:14[Music]
- 2:16This doorbell camera video shows the
- 2:18horrifying early stages of a fire in a
- 2:21neighbor's property. As the video goes
- 2:23on, you can see as the fire gradually
- 2:25continues to grow. So much so that it
- 2:28eventually reaches the house with the
- 2:29doorbell camera. At the time of the
- 2:31fire, the house owner himself was
- 2:33asleep, though he would be woken up by
- 2:35multiple notifications on his phone
- 2:37claiming motion was detected by his
- 2:39doorbell camera. After reviewing the
- 2:41footage, the house owner would
- 2:42frantically run to get a fire
- 2:44extinguisher and desperately attempt to
- 2:45put the fire out.
- 2:48Oh,
- 3:03[Applause]
- 3:05my house.
- 3:07[Music]
- 3:09He's
- 3:11[Applause]
- 3:14[Music]
- 3:16back now.
- 3:22But after realizing it was too late, the
- 3:23house owner would escape through the
- 3:25house's back door. It's pretty safe to
- 3:28say that the motion detected
- 3:29notifications that woke up the house
- 3:30owner saved his life that night.
- 3:36This video captured a woman frantically
- 3:38knocking on this house's front door. As
- 3:40she continues to do so, she can be seen
- 3:42constantly looking behind her, and
- 3:45that's when you realize why. A man walks
- 3:47up to the woman and proceeds to grab her
- 3:49firmly, telling her to get into the car.
- 3:52All the while, the woman can be heard
- 3:53pleading for him to stop.
- 4:13Stop. Please. No. No. No. No. No. No.
- 4:15No. No. No. Please. Stop.
- 4:25The man in the video was later
- 4:27identified to be 20-year-old Victor
- 4:28Cuchich, and he would ultimately be
- 4:31charged with thirdderee felony
- 4:32kidnapping.
- 4:38This Ring doorbell starts off showing
- 4:39the house owner simply doing her
- 4:41laundry. Though, before she can even
- 4:43enter the laundry room, she can be seen
- 4:45pausing. And the audio from the clip
- 4:48makes it clear as to why.
- 4:56[Music]
- 5:02A voice can be heard desperately
- 5:03pleading for help. Though it's unclear
- 5:06as to where the voice is coming from,
- 5:09clearly disturbed and worried it could
- 5:11have been someone hiding around her
- 5:12property. The woman would end up calling
- 5:14the police.
- 5:16I looked out. I didn't see anybody out
- 5:18on the road or any cars or anything. So,
- 5:20I went back to my Ring video to make
- 5:22sure I wasn't just
- 5:25hearing something.
- 5:31I can hear somebody saying something,
- 5:33but I can't
- 5:34Well, I posted it on there.
- 5:36The police would search the whole
- 5:37property, but find absolutely nothing.
- 5:40And to this day, it's still unclear
- 5:42whose voice was talking or even where it
- 5:45was coming from.
- 5:49This doorbell camera footage seems to
- 5:51have captured an almost transparent
- 5:53looking figure walking across the house
- 5:55owner's property in the middle of the
- 5:56night. The figure looks to have no face
- 5:59and seems to slowly become less visible
- 6:01as it continues to move. The audio from
- 6:04the video reveals the noise of very
- 6:06faint footsteps.
- 6:14[Applause]
- 6:21After reviewing the footage and
- 6:23examining around the property, the house
- 6:25owner found nothing out of the ordinary,
- 6:27and it's still unclear what exactly was
- 6:29caught on video that night.
- 6:34The owner of this house would wake up to
- 6:36a notification on his phone telling him
- 6:38motion was detected at his front door.
- 6:40And after reviewing the footage, this is
- 6:42what he found. There was an old woman
- 6:45with a knife just standing at his front
- 6:47door, constantly shifting her body
- 6:48weight from side to side. The woman can
- 6:51be seen awkwardly holding and looking at
- 6:53the knife, as well as constantly
- 6:55glancing all around her.
- 7:18After a few more seconds, the woman
- 7:20finally attempts to ring the doorbell,
- 7:22but seemingly can't bring herself to do
- 7:23it for whatever reason.
- 7:54And after 2 minutes of footage, it cuts
- 7:56off. It's still unclear who this woman
- 7:58was or what caused her to walk up to a
- 8:00stranger's front door wielding a knife.
- 8:06After hearing his doorbell go off, this
- 8:08San Diego house owner would look at his
- 8:10doorbell camera through his phone and
- 8:12the camera revealed a supposed
- 8:13door-to-door salesman waiting outside.
- 8:16The house owner decided to confront the
- 8:18man with the doorbell speaker. And
- 8:20that's when the salesman claimed he was
- 8:22looking for the Robinson's residence at
- 8:23712, which was not the house he was at.
- 8:28After being informed of this, the
- 8:29salesman would politely apologize for
- 8:31the mixup.
- 8:32This the Robinson's residence at 712.
- 8:36Uh, no, you're at the wrong house. This
- 8:37is 721.
- 8:39Oh, I apologize for that.
- 8:41Suspicious of the encounter, the house
- 8:43owner would send the footage to the
- 8:44local police department, who
- 8:46disturbingly confirmed that this exact
- 8:49man was suspected of breaking into at
- 8:50least 19 homes and impersonating a
- 8:53salesman to do so. The man has yet to be
- 8:56caught by police,
- 9:01likely taking place during the whole
- 9:03killer clown craze of 2016. This Ring
- 9:06doorbell caught the exact moment someone
- 9:08dressed in a clown costume walked up to
- 9:10its front door. The person can be seen
- 9:12tilting their head and slowly walking up
- 9:14to the door almost the whole time
- 9:16staring directly into the camera. While
- 9:19it's most likely just someone trying to
- 9:21scare people, there's a small chance
- 9:23something a lot more sinister is going
- 9:24on here.
- 9:55To this day, it's still unclear whether
- 9:58the house owner experienced anything
- 9:59further. Regarding the situation,
