10 Habits Every Mythical Immortal Player Has — Transcript
Full transcript
- 0:00Have you ever wondered why some players
- 0:02in Mobile Legends just make it look
- 0:04easy?
- 0:05>> COME ON, MAN.
- 0:06That's too easy.
- 0:07>> Hey, if you ever watched one of my
- 0:09videos and you said [music] that, thank
- 0:10you. Thank you very much. I'm definitely
- 0:12not blushing right now. All jokes aside,
- 0:14it's not because they have insane
- 0:15mechanics or it's not because they spam
- 0:16one broken hero, and it's [music]
- 0:18definitely not because they tend to get
- 0:19better teammates every game. The truth
- 0:21is, the best players develop habits that
- 0:23become automatic. If you've ever heard
- 0:25of the term autopilot, these habits tend
- 0:27to be autopilot habits that you just
- 0:29develop [music] from doing them so
- 0:31consistently. You just don't think about
- 0:32them anymore, you just do them. So,
- 0:34today I'm sharing 10 habits every Mythic
- 0:37Immortal player has. And if you can
- 0:38start building these into your own
- 0:39gameplay, you will become a much better
- 0:42player. But before we do, I just wanted
- 0:44to quickly state, as my channel
- 0:46continues to grow, I can no longer
- 0:47personally coach every player who
- 0:49reaches out. [music] Because of this, I
- 0:50am creating a brand called Zexis
- 0:52Coaching Team. And what I'm going to be
- 0:54doing is hiring coaches to help me
- 0:56coach. If [music] you want coaching,
- 0:57it's still the same way. Link is in the
- 0:59description down below to my coaching
- 1:00info tab in the Discord server. But if
- 1:03you want to be a coach, all you have to
- 1:05do is click on the ticket box as well
- 1:07and state that you want to be a coach,
- 1:09and I will personally DM you or someone
- 1:11else from the coaching team. [music]
- 1:13Anyways, let's get back to the video.
- 1:14First habit is that they constantly
- 1:16check the mini map. The mini map is
- 1:18basically free information. Immortal
- 1:20players will glance at it every few
- 1:21seconds. They're tracking missing
- 1:23heroes, jungle movement, side lanes, and
- 1:25potential fights before they even
- 1:27happen. Most players will react to
- 1:29danger, and Immortal players will
- 1:30already expect it to be coming. So, at
- 1:32that point, you are already [music] well
- 1:34prepared and equipped to deal with the
- 1:35situation to the best of your ability.
- 1:37Do not underestimate the mini map. This
- 1:40is so crucial. [music] The fact that you
- 1:42can see what enemy ultimates were used
- 1:44in certain ways, the fact that you can
- 1:46see where enemies are on the map will
- 1:48give you so much info. As an example,
- 1:51you are a jungler playing on the bottom
- 1:53side of the map. I'll have my editor put
- 1:55it on screen.
- 1:56>> Yes, enemy rumor and mid laner showed on
- 1:59top lane. You have two available options
- 2:01to you now. Either one invading the
- 2:03enemy's bottom side jungle [music] or B
- 2:06ganking the enemy on bot lane. Why?
- 2:08Because it is objectively safer. Since
- 2:10the enemy jungle is missing, the worst
- 2:12case scenario is that it is a two versus
- 2:14two, not that it gets turned around into
- 2:16a four versus two on you and your bottom
- 2:19laner. You see why looking at the mini
- 2:20map is so important in your decision
- 2:22making? Well, there you go. As for the
- 2:25second habit mythical immortal players
- 2:26have, they always have a reason for
- 2:28fighting. High rank players don't
- 2:30randomly engage. Before every fight,
- 2:32they're asking, "What do we gain if we
- 2:34win this? Lord? Turtle? A tower? Enemy
- 2:37buffs?" If the answer is nothing,
- 2:40they just don't fight. I mean, what is
- 2:42the real purpose to that fight? Because
- 2:44if you have nothing to gain, you have
- 2:45everything to lose. This is a basic
- 2:47statement said in philosophy many times,
- 2:49but it is very valid for the purposes of
- 2:51understanding this habit. When you think
- 2:53about it logically, if you have
- 2:55absolutely nothing you [music] can
- 2:56possibly gain from taking that fight,
- 2:58and you think about the fact that the
- 2:59enemy could gain things from beating
- 3:00[music] you in that fight, what purpose
- 3:02do you have to taking that fight? You
- 3:04have to know the moment when you can
- 3:06play for an advantage after winning that
- 3:07fight, and that is when you decide to
- 3:09take it. Now, this will be developed
- 3:11over time, but it will become
- 3:12subconscious as I mentioned before or
- 3:14autopilot as I mentioned before, because
- 3:16you just get so used to the pattern
- 3:18recognition aspect of it. As for the
- 3:20third habit immortal players always
- 3:22think ahead. Most players will play
- 3:24based off of what is happening right now
- 3:26in this moment, but immortal players
- 3:28will play off of what's happening 30
- 3:29seconds from now. Is the lord spawning?
- 3:32Are they already pushing side waves? Is
- 3:34the turtle spawning? Are they already
- 3:36rotating? These are the kind of things
- 3:37you would think about and then plan your
- 3:39decisions off of. For example, I'm
- 3:41thinking 30 seconds ahead to the lord
- 3:43spawning on the opposite side of the
- 3:44map. So, I'm going to be clearing my
- 3:46minions 30 seconds before the lord by
- 3:48cutting or high cutting as an XP laner
- 3:50so that I don't have to worry about my
- 3:52minion wave, but the enemy XP has to,
- 3:54and I will be present at that objective.
- 3:56And that simple habit creates a four
- 3:58versus five scenario on the Lord where
- 4:00my enemy XP is accomplishing absolutely
- 4:02nothing on the other side of the map,
- 4:04probably crying in one of the bushes
- 4:06right now. And this is the importance of
- 4:08thinking ahead. There's many more
- 4:10examples I can apply, but that is the
- 4:11most basic one to get you understanding
- 4:13the thought [music] process. Eventually,
- 4:15the habit becomes autopilot as well. The
- 4:17fourth habit that a lot of Mythic
- 4:19Immortals do, or almost every [music]
- 4:21single one will do, is farming while
- 4:23rotating. One of the biggest differences
- 4:25between average [music] and elite
- 4:27players is efficiency. Immortal players
- 4:29almost never waste any movement.
- 4:33On the way to a fight, they will clear a
- 4:35wave, or at least kill the first two
- 4:37minions if their wave clear is bad for
- 4:38the big one. Passing a jungle camp, take
- 4:41it if it's yours. If you're playing the
- 4:42marksman, you might as well take it
- 4:43while rotating to mid in the later
- 4:45stages of the game, of course. Please
- 4:46stop cocking your jungler before he's
- 4:48level 15. Everything that they do will
- 4:51earn gold or pressure. Whether that be
- 4:53pressure through pushing a turret and
- 4:54then gaining gold through that, whether
- 4:56that be fast clearing a wave on the way
- 4:59to rotate to top lane as another
- 5:01example. I'm playing Benedetta at 4
- 5:03minutes, and I decide to cut my wave and
- 5:05then cut mid wave before ganking top
- 5:07lane, all because I can in [music] the
- 5:09time of my speed of rotation. Does that
- 5:11make sense? So, to give you a little
- 5:12visual graph here again, I low cut the
- 5:14bottom side of the map. Then, after low
- 5:16cutting the bottom side of the map, I
- 5:18clear my mid wave and then I get a gank
- 5:20on to gold lane on the other side of the
- 5:21map, and then I recall to go back to bot
- 5:23lane. That is efficiency, where I
- 5:25managed to cut to create the time, I
- 5:27managed to clear mid to get the extra
- 5:29gold, and then after clearing mid I
- 5:31managed to go to top lane and confirm
- 5:32the kill on the marksman as well. That
- 5:34is where you get that monstrous gold
- 5:36gap. This obviously applies to every
- 5:37other role, but given that I am a pro
- 5:39scene XP laner, I'm going to apply it to
- 5:41XP knowledge. Now, as for the fifth
- 5:43habit, like I mentioned earlier with the
- 5:45habit of knowing when you should fight.
- 5:48Mythical immortals know not to fight.
- 5:50[music] This might be the hardest habit
- 5:52to learn, so I'm going to label this
- 5:53more as discipline. Sometimes the best
- 5:55play is genuinely just backing off.
- 5:57Immortal players don't force fights
- 5:58because someone's spamming the attack.
- 6:00If the fight isn't good, they simply
- 6:02don't take it. And then you will
- 6:03question afterwards as a Mythical Glory,
- 6:05"Oh my god, Benedetta, you are trolling.
- 6:07Why were you not at this fight? No map,
- 6:09Benedetta." No, that Benedetta just
- 6:11understood that there's more value out
- 6:13of doing other things. So, that turret
- 6:14that she took in the meantime got more
- 6:16value for your team or at least traded
- 6:18some of those deaths. Maybe you need to
- 6:19fix your macro a little bit there. But
- 6:21in all seriousness, stop taking fights
- 6:24that you don't need to take.
- 6:25>> [music]
- 6:25>> Discipline. Now, the sixth habit is a
- 6:28very big one which a lot of people fail
- 6:30to do miserably. Habit number six is
- 6:33they play around power spikes. Every
- 6:35hero has a moment when they're
- 6:37strongest. Julian level three, Sou you
- 6:39level three, Alucard when he gets Fury
- 6:41Hammer in level four in early game, or
- 6:43Alucard later in the game when he has
- 6:45three to four items, right? Maybe it's
- 6:47your third item, maybe it's your second,
- 6:49blah blah blah. Instead of fighting
- 6:50whenever, you know, you would feel like
- 6:52it, you're going to fight when you have
- 6:54that power spike. A simple example is
- 6:56playing as Alucard in jungle where
- 6:58you're going to farm to get your Fury
- 6:59Hammer, then you're going to take on
- 7:01fights when you have Flame Retribution
- 7:02and ultimate available because that is
- 7:04your total power spike that you're able
- 7:05to achieve at that point in the game.
- 7:08You won't fight before then because you
- 7:10know that your total damage factor is
- 7:11not just 10, 15% less, it's actually 30
- 7:15to 40% less, and that is the very
- 7:17important thing to note. You ever notice
- 7:19how people check their items all the
- 7:20time? They're checking how much gold
- 7:22till they get it so they they can
- 7:23understand when they plan to do certain
- 7:25rotations, etc. Like if I know that I'm
- 7:27a hundred gold away from getting my
- 7:29Hunter's Strike, then I'm realistically
- 7:30going to farm an extra jungle camp
- 7:32before I gank because I could secure 50
- 7:35extra damage over Fury Hammer from
- 7:37simply having that Hunter's Strike, and
- 7:39even though I delayed my gank slightly,
- 7:40I increased the probability of me
- 7:42getting a kill probably tenfold. Now, as
- 7:45for the seventh habit, they tend to
- 7:46reset after winning. A lot of players
- 7:48will win a team fight, then they'll stay
- 7:50too long, get greedy, some dude rotated
- 7:53back quickly, and they die for it. This
- 7:55is where everything starts to fall
- 7:56apart. You got to kind of know your
- 7:58boundaries. What can I push, what can I
- 8:00take, and what can I do before the enemy
- 8:02would respawn? Do as much as you can,
- 8:04but discipline. Take only as much as you
- 8:07can safely take, because if you die,
- 8:10then all of that that you got, of
- 8:11course, may still be more valuable if
- 8:14it's something like an inhibitor turret,
- 8:16but if it's not, then it's probably not
- 8:18worth it for you to die. So, again,
- 8:20reset after winning team fights. Take as
- 8:22much as you can, but make sure that you
- 8:23have the space to go back, heal, get
- 8:25yourself back together fully, and be on
- 8:27the map at the same time that the enemy
- 8:29would respawn,
- 8:30>> [music]
- 8:30>> with, of course, just an advantage. As
- 8:32for habit number eight, they adapt every
- 8:34game. They don't copy the same build
- 8:36every match. They don't make the same
- 8:38decisions every game. They look at the
- 8:40enemy draft. They look at all of these
- 8:41factors and decide their game plan. But
- 8:43then, while the game's going on, if the
- 8:45game plan doesn't go according to their
- 8:46plan, they analyze who is fed, what's
- 8:49causing problems, and they adapt. And
- 8:51that's what separates good players from
- 8:52great ones. If you're auto-piloting the
- 8:54same build every game, but a certain
- 8:56item would have helped you tremendously
- 8:58in the early to mid game, or even the
- 8:59late game if you decided [music] to
- 9:01build it instead, yeah, this is the kind
- 9:03of things that you need to learn to
- 9:04adapt and learn to [music] do. This also
- 9:06applies in the games where things don't
- 9:08go as planned. Maybe you died in the
- 9:09first invade. Maybe the enemy shut down
- 9:11your chance at invading. Well, what do
- 9:13you do instead? You don't just crumble
- 9:15and crawl into a bush and cry.
- 9:19What you do instead is adapt and try to
- 9:21figure [music] out other ways to play,
- 9:22whether through pressuring side lanes,
- 9:24forcing the enemy to have to play super
- 9:26defensive, etc. As for habit number
- 9:28nine, one of the main things I've
- 9:29noticed is that we tend [music] to stay
- 9:31calm. Like, mythical immortal players
- 9:33will stay calm. You got ambushed, you'll
- 9:35stay calm. One lost turtle doesn't end
- 9:38the game. One lost lord doesn't end the
- 9:39game. You're not going to waste your
- 9:41time really flaming your teammates too
- 9:43heavily because you know that you have
- 9:45the capacity to still win my game.
- 9:47You're already thinking about how do you
- 9:49protect the next play. [music]
- 9:50So, rather than thinking we lost the
- 9:52lord, oh my god, my jungle can't
- 9:54retreat, we think more about aspects
- 9:56such as, okay,
- 9:58>> [music]
- 9:58>> how do we defend this lord to not give
- 9:59them too much from this siege? Because
- 10:01in reality, it is a game. Things will
- 10:03happen. [music]
- 10:04Sometimes you will get hot-headed, but
- 10:06at the end of the day you will still
- 10:07stay calm enough to where you will still
- 10:09be making the right decisions in these
- 10:10kind of moments.
- 10:12And as for the final habit, before we
- 10:14get into it, make sure to like and
- 10:15subscribe if you stayed this [music]
- 10:16far, and let me know if you're enjoying
- 10:17this kind of content. Habit number 10 is
- 10:20that they always play for the win
- 10:21[music] condition. This is the biggest
- 10:23habit of them all. Every game has a win
- 10:25condition. Is it your marksman that
- 10:27skills? Maybe your jungler needs to
- 10:29dominate? Maybe your mage just
- 10:30completely wipes out in late game
- 10:32fights? Immortal players identify that
- 10:34win condition early, then they decide to
- 10:37make decisions that will support that
- 10:39win condition. Because the best players
- 10:40aren't just trying to play well, they're
- 10:42trying to win. Doesn't matter if one
- 10:44team is 40 kills and your team is two,
- 10:46[music] if the team with two kills
- 10:48destroys the nexus, cuz at the end of
- 10:49the day
- 10:50the team with 40 kills still loses
- 10:51[music] the game. You got to keep that
- 10:53in mind. So, again, always play for the
- 10:55win condition, and when the win
- 10:56condition fails, play [music] for your
- 10:58backup win condition. This is something
- 10:59that you should be analyzing in every
- 11:01game. Notice how none of these habits
- 11:02require perfect mechanics, none of them
- 11:04require a new hero, and none of them
- 11:06happen overnight. Pick one or two habits
- 11:08from this list and focus on improving
- 11:10them, and you'll be surprised how much
- 11:12your gameplay changes. Again, most of
- 11:14these habits are auto pilotable. Over
- 11:16time you can [music] execute them to
- 11:1770-80% efficiency without even turning
- 11:19your brain on. So, imagine when you
- 11:21actually lock in. Now again, if you
- 11:23enjoyed this video, leave a like and
- 11:25subscribe, and let me know, which habit
- 11:27do you [music] think separates immortal
- 11:28players the most from the average
- 11:30players?
