  1. 0:00If you just have your cursor on line,
  2. 0:01hit control C and control V, it'll copy
  3. 0:04that line. You can also use control X to
  4. 0:06delete an entire line. A similar way to
  5. 0:08do something like this would be the alt
  6. 0:10button plus the arrow keys. That allows
  7. 0:12you to move lines up and down or alt
  8. 0:14plus shift and the arrow keys and that
  9. 0:16allows you to duplicate lines up and
  10. 0:18down. You can also use alt plus mouse
  11. 0:20click in order to select multiple lines
  12. 0:22and then you can make changes on all
  13. 0:23those lines at once. Another of my
  14. 0:26favorite shortcuts is control D. If you
  15. 0:27just have your cursor inside a word, hit
  16. 0:29control D to highlight that word and
  17. 0:31another use for this is if you have
  18. 0:32anything highlighted, you click control
  19. 0:34D, it's going to highlight the next
  20. 0:36thing that has that same text and you
  21. 0:38can continue to do that over and over
  22. 0:39again, which is great if you need to
  23. 0:40rename a variable in a small scope. Now,
  24. 0:42the control P command allows you to
  25. 0:44search for files and open them up so we
  26. 0:46can switch between our files. Control
  27. 0:47shift P allows you to run different
  28. 0:49commands from VS code so I can open up
  29. 0:51my settings for example. And finally,
  30. 0:53you can hit control plus the forward
  31. 0:54slash key and that allows you to comment
  32. 0:56out a line or if you highlight a bunch
  33. 0:57of code, you can comment it all out at
  34. 0:59once.
