- 0:00Yes.
- 0:00>> $ 50 in one day.
- 0:02>> Yes, in just one single day, which is
- 0:03very important. On November 14th, my
- 0:05house exploded, and among other things,
- 0:08I lost all my printers. I am on my own
- 0:10and I have three girls.
- 0:11>> And with 3D printing, you support your
- 0:13whole family.
- 0:14>> Yes, I support my whole family.
- 0:15>> And I am sure that you are the best
- 0:17entrepreneur that has been here yet.
- 0:21>> I've been an entrepreneur for 15 years
- 0:22in different fields, and I don't want
- 0:24to leave 3D printing.
- 0:26>> Because there are things you did very
- 0:28poorly here, honestly. You did it so
- 0:31poorly and you missed an opportunity,
- 0:33but sometimes life has bad luck,
- 0:34sometimes good luck; but in your case
- 0:36today it's not bad luck, and that's how
- 0:38life is. We never know what will happen
- 0:41, but good things do happen; we insist,
- 0:43bad things will happen too, but you
- 0:44have to overcome them, and you overcame
- 0:46them. The truth is I...I...I can't
- 0:49speak because of the emotion I'm
- 0:51feeling.
- 0:53>> This is How to Sell 3D Printing, the
- 0:55reality show that enters real
- 0:56businesses, analyzes their numbers, and
- 0:59discovers how much they really earn.
- 1:01And together with each entrepreneur, we
- 1:03design a plan so they can make a living
- 1:05from 3D printing. But who designs that
- 1:07plan? Let us introduce you to our
- 1:09experts. Lincoln Almeida started from
- 1:12scratch at home. Ten years ago he
- 1:14founded UnicBx, and in 7 years he sold
- 1:17more than 250,000 units, generating 5
- 1:20million, and he founded Telefones
- 1:26through 3D printing. Humberto Quiñones
- 1:29is an engineer, an engineering
- 1:30professor, and he is pursuing a PhD in
- 1:33science. Bruno Antoño, Bruce, is an
- 1:35industrial designer. He quit his job
- 1:39with one single goal: to teach people
- 1:41that you can make a living from 3D
- 1:43printing by selling on MercadoLibre. I
- 1:53am on my own and I have three girls.
- 1:54>> And with 3D printing, you support your
- 1:56whole family.
- 1:57>> Yes, I support my whole family. Yes,
- 1:59the girls help me with everything and
- 2:01they are always, uh, looking out for
- 2:03what's new, what's viral, what's coming
- 2:06out. So, they see trends on social
- 2:08media and you replicate them and sell
- 2:10them.
- 2:10>> Where do you sell them?
- 2:11>> Uh, mostly at fairs. And well, now on
- 2:15Instagram, I'm making some content that
- 2:17they participate in a lot, in the
- 2:19videos and so on, both recording and on
- 2:22this side as well on
- 2:23>> Instagram
- 2:23>> and with plans to use TikTok.
- 2:26>> Where do you sell your products? Who is
- 2:27your ideal client?
- 2:29>> My ideal client is children, basically,
- 2:31uh, because I always have a separate
- 2:34table at my stand where I leave
- 2:36everything I have as a sample so they
- 2:39can interact and play, and they all
- 2:41come over. It's always full from the
- 2:43moment I get to the fair until I leave.
- 2:45>> The fairs you usually attend, uh, where
- 2:48are they?
- 2:50>> They're in Once. They are themed fairs.
- 2:54It's, it's the Kawai fair. It's a fair
- 2:56that has advertising, great advertising
- 2:58, and a great audience. Between 5,000
- 3:00and 10,000 people go to that fair. It
- 3:02happens once a month and has a lot of
- 3:04people.
- 3:04>> That's already a fair that takes place
- 3:07every month.
- 3:08>> Yes. It's set every month and has been
- 3:09around for years.
- 3:10>> And you go, and you go every month.
- 3:12>> Yes, yes. It's a fair with a certain
- 3:14niche that people go and look for.
- 3:16>> What percentage of sales does it
- 3:17represent for you in a month? It's
- 3:21important, for example at the Kawai, we
- 3:23make a million there
- 3:25>> as a base
- 3:26>> it's more or less
- 3:27>> in one day.
- 3:27>> In one day
- 3:28>> that's 60%of your income in one day at
- 3:31one point of sale.
- 3:33>> $ 50 in one day.
- 3:35>> Yes, in a single day, which is very
- 3:36important.
- 3:37>> You have a printer on your table.
- 3:39>> Yes.
- 3:41>> Turned on.
- 3:42>> Uh, it depends on the day. Yes.
- 3:45>> And why don't you have it sometimes?
- 3:47Well, because sometimes there is a lot
- 3:48of wind, so it gets complicated to have
- 3:50it
- 3:51>> Yes, it's all outdoors. Yes.
- 3:53>> When there is wind, you don't print.
- 3:55>> When there is wind, no, no. If I know
- 3:56it's going to rain or be windy, no. I
- 3:58don't even take it.
- 4:00>> Do you take many custom orders from the
- 4:02fair, do people ask you to make things,
- 4:05or do you only sell what's there? Do
- 4:09people not ask you for anything else
- 4:10afterward?
- 4:11>> No, no, yes, people do ask me sometimes
- 4:12. Sometimes, uh, they ask me like they
- 4:15want things for schools. There are
- 4:17professionals who ask me for gifts for
- 4:19their own school that they can't
- 4:20acquire for the school.
- 4:22>> And how do they know that you make
- 4:24things like that?
- 4:25>> They ask me, they, they consult me.
- 4:27>> But you don't have anything to show
- 4:28that you can make those things, besides
- 4:30the printer.
- 4:31>> What?
- 4:32>> On your table there is nothing that
- 4:34that
- 4:35>> Oh, I have a sign that says we do
- 4:37custom work and we do orders. I mean, I
- 4:39do have a sign that says, that
- 4:40clarifies everything,
- 4:41>> but just a sign.
- 4:43>> Yes, yes, just a sign.
- 4:44>> How many printers do you have at home?
- 4:46Uh, right now at this moment I only
- 4:48have two.
- 4:48>> Two. And are they producing all day?
- 4:51Yes. I mean, what is your production
- 4:54capacity at?
- 4:55>> Uh, I’m producing all day where I
- 4:56have like a little notebook where I
- 4:58write down what to do and what not to
- 4:59do, how many hours each thing takes,
- 5:01and so when one finishes, I start the
- 5:03next.
- 5:03>> You always had two printers,
- 5:04>> right?
- 5:05>> Two printers before.
- 5:07>> How so?
- 5:07>> You had more before.
- 5:08>> Yes, I had more before.
- 5:10>> Two printers,
- 5:11>> today I have two. and you sell $ 400 in
- 5:14your best months. You are working magic
- 5:17with those printers.
- 5:18>> 600 per print
- 5:19>> I’m printing all the time and if I
- 5:21see it getting stuck because the
- 5:22filament is damp, or whatever, I’m
- 5:25right on top of it. So, it’s like
- 5:27I’m right there. It happens many
- 5:29times that I wake up at night when I
- 5:31hear it failed
- 5:32>> and I restart it.
- 5:34>> If you had two more printers, would you
- 5:36sell double, do you think?
- 5:37>> Yes, I think so.
- 5:38>> Why?
- 5:39>> Because I already had, I had 15
- 5:41printers before. And what happened?
- 5:43>> An accident on November 14th and my
- 5:45house exploded, and among those things
- 5:47I lost all my printers. Uh, the ones I
- 5:50could recover I sent to a technician.
- 5:52The technician checked them and said no
- 5:55, because the dust from the explosion
- 5:57got into everything and I couldn't
- 5:59recover them. So, well, in December I
- 6:03held a raffle and with the raffle I was
- 6:05able to buy two printers, one used and
- 6:07one new. Almost one.
- 6:09>> And what happened in this explosion?
- 6:10Tell us a bit more,
- 6:11>> uh,
- 6:12>> why it happened,
- 6:14>> a factory in the neighborhood exploded
- 6:16and, well, the explosion covered an
- 6:18area of six blocks and more, and well,
- 6:21among those blocks was my house. Uh, we
- 6:24were coming from the fair. Uh, since we
- 6:27knew about the explosion, we thought it
- 6:29was only in that area. We never
- 6:32imagined it had reached our area, so I
- 6:35went to open the door normally and
- 6:37suddenly the door wouldn't open, and
- 6:39when I told the girls to stay back, it
- 6:42was because there was rubble everywhere
- 6:44, there was all this smoke, and I
- 6:46didn't really understand what was
- 6:49happening. So, well, we retreated to
- 6:52what would be the street and there,
- 6:54well, a neighbor warned us about what
- 6:56had happened and so on, and I
- 6:58understood a bit why there was smoke,
- 7:00because I was a bit lost; I didn't know
- 7:02if it was a fire, what had happened, I
- 7:04didn't understand anything. Later, the
- 7:08neighbors went in to see how things
- 7:10were, and then they told me I could go
- 7:12in, and well, we saw how everything had
- 7:14ended up. All the parts of the wall
- 7:18were down, the roof had collapsed, so
- 7:21well, it was a bit shocking. Uh, the
- 7:24girls saw everything too, they got
- 7:27upset and started crying and so on, so
- 7:29it was pretty hard to find the house
- 7:31like that.
- 7:32>> Did you look for any help from the
- 7:33community? Uh, since I belong to the
- 7:35craft fairs, everyone mobilized to hold
- 7:38raffles, sell things, and with that
- 7:40money, I was able to find a place to
- 7:42rent, which is where I live now. That
- 7:44was my own house and today, well, I
- 7:46rent.
- 7:47>> And what happened to the house? Was the
- 7:48inside of the house destroyed as well?
- 7:52>> Uh, the house is uninhabitable, I mean,
- 7:53the inspectors who came to see it, uh,
- 7:53it's uninhabitable. What needs to be
- 7:57done there is to put money into it,
- 7:58tear down everything that's left,
- 8:00because there's no roof, but the
- 8:01remains of the walls are still there.
- 8:04So, we have to clear everything out and
- 8:06start from scratch. So now you're
- 8:08supporting your whole family with just
- 8:10two machines?
- 8:11>> Yes.
- 8:12>> And before you had 15 printers.
- 8:14>> Yes, 15 printers.
- 8:15>> And were all 15 always running?
- 8:17>> Well, uh, sometimes not.
- 8:20>> How many did you sell before? I sold
- 8:22between 4,000 and 5,000 units monthly.
- 8:25Uh, I sold other things as well.
- 8:27>> For about 3,000 or 4,000.
- 8:29>> Yes.
- 8:29>> Yes, I don't know much about those.
- 8:31>> And where did you sell them?
- 8:34>> I sold to all the shops, I sold cutters
- 8:36, I sold things to make, I mean, pencil
- 8:38holders, mate cups, mate bases.
- 8:41>> It's difficult to invest to buy more.
- 8:44Yes, yes, today I can't because I have
- 8:46to pay rent, support my daughters, and
- 8:48well, uh, they go to a private school,
- 8:50so that also takes quite a bit.
- 8:55>> So nowadays you don't supply any stores
- 8:57?
- 8:58>> Because of a lack of production, not a
- 9:00lack of capacity.
- 9:01>> Uh, yes, it's a lack of production. I
- 9:03don't want to commit to something I
- 9:04know I won't be able to finish.
- 9:06>> How many hours do you sleep a day?
- 9:08>> Uh, it shows.
- 9:10>> You have three daughters. I sleep.
- 9:12>> It's a venture that demands a lot from
- 9:14you and well, I see that you also have
- 9:16a lot of variety because you are very
- 9:18creative in what you do. It depends on
- 9:21the date I have coming up. For example,
- 9:24if I have a craft fair near, uh, I
- 9:25don't sleep. I've gone three or four
- 9:27days without sleeping. I mean, I don't
- 9:29sleep at all. And otherwise, naturally
- 9:31I sleep between two or three hours
- 9:33because I wake up at 5 in the morning
- 9:34to get the girls ready for school, so I
- 9:36have to get everything ready.
- 9:37>> What do you think are the obstacles you
- 9:40have nowadays? maybe put in order what
- 9:44the biggest obstacle is that is keeping
- 9:47you from growing right now.
- 9:49>> Today my biggest challenge is economic.
- 9:53So maybe what one should save for 3D
- 9:56printing gets spent on a personal level
- 10:00. I mean, daily expenses. Uh, I think
- 10:04if I saved like before, when I saved
- 10:06the profit to buy another printer again
- 10:09, or saved and set aside money to buy
- 10:11filaments, uh, it would be better, I
- 10:14would do better. Uh, today what I do is
- 10:17I buy a filament and use it until the
- 10:19very end, and if there's none left, for
- 10:20example, here, and this little bit of
- 10:22orange is left, I use it until the very
- 10:24end. So, I put in that last bit of
- 10:27filament and add another one and so on.
- 10:29I mean, I use everything.
- 10:31>> Squeezing every bit of
- 10:32>> I am squeezing everything. It has
- 10:34happened to me, uh. I have an Ender 3 K
- 10:37and, since that one is easier, I put a
- 10:40little bit of filament into the sensor
- 10:42and keep feeding in the other little
- 10:44pieces of filament like that, and for
- 10:46example I make infinite cubes that
- 10:48people say: "No, how pretty is this
- 10:50whole range of colors, how beautiful,
- 10:53and so on." And it's all little bits of
- 10:56filament that I keep putting in there,
- 10:58yeah? that I use until the very end,
- 11:02and I stop when I know it's going to
- 11:04run out, because I can already hear the
- 11:06noise when it's getting low. So I stop
- 11:08and put in the other little piece of
- 11:10filament and so on, and I make a ton of
- 11:11things with all those little filament
- 11:13stubs.
- 11:14>> How long is the fair? How many hours
- 11:16are you there? Uh, we arrive at 9 in
- 11:18the morning and the fair opens at 12
- 11:20because they have to give us the table,
- 11:23we have to set up, and all that. So,
- 11:25when it takes time
- 11:27>> the public leaves, it closes at 6 and
- 11:30we have 2 hours to tear down.
- 11:33>> So, from 9 to 8.
- 11:36>> What time do you wake up that day to go
- 11:37to the fair? And that day I wake up at
- 11:395 in the morning because I have to have
- 11:41breakfast, give everyone breakfast,
- 11:43dress them, see if it's cold or not,
- 11:45and see about prioritizing whether to
- 11:47bring coats or not. And we leave more
- 11:49or less between 6 and 7 in the morning.
- 11:52>> What time do you get home?
- 11:53>> And we have a two-hour trip. It depends
- 11:56on the fair where we are. It's a
- 11:58two-hour trip. The only fair that's
- 12:00nice, so to speak, because you say I'm
- 12:02closer, which is an hour trip, is the
- 12:04one at the San José school.
- 12:05>> An hour trip by what?
- 12:06>> In SPE. So you leave at 5 and you get
- 12:09back at 10 p.m.
- 12:11>> Yes, at 10. And let’s hope there are
- 12:14no traffic jams or anything on the way,
- 12:16otherwise we won't get there until
- 12:18midnight.
- 12:19>> And you have to put the girls to sleep,
- 12:20start the machines printing, and then
- 12:22you get to sleep.
- 12:22>> Exactly. It also happens that maybe
- 12:25there’s a problem, I see that the
- 12:26print finished, and I say, "Oh, I’m
- 12:28still far away and I'm losing all that
- 12:30time."
- 12:31>> Perfect. I think we need to work here,
- 12:34then, to come up with a good plan.
- 12:37We’re going to ask you, we need to
- 12:38discuss among ourselves to see what the
- 12:40best plan is that we can try to
- 12:42formulate for you, and we need you to
- 12:44give us 10 to 15 minutes to discuss it,
- 12:45and then we’ll call you. And if you
- 12:49also want to know how to sell 3D
- 12:52printing, we’re going to do a live
- 12:54stream where, besides teaching you how
- 12:57to sell 3D printing, one person will
- 12:59take home the entire Creality kit: two
- 13:02printers, a Spark X i7, a laser,
- 13:04filament, everything you need, plus the
- 13:07knowledge. So, if you want to make a
- 13:10living from 3D printing, click the link
- 13:12and see you at the live. I have a
- 13:14question for you, Maa. We made the plan
- 13:17, but first I wanted to ask you a
- 13:18question.
- 13:19>> How do you evaluate yourself as an
- 13:21entrepreneur?
- 13:23>> How do I evaluate myself? Uh, I’m a
- 13:26person who doesn't give up, so I always
- 13:28keep insisting. Uh, if doors close, I
- 13:31insist, I insist, I insist, because I
- 13:34know that I’m a person who can
- 13:36deliver.
- 13:37>> We’re back. Maira, I’ve already
- 13:41done, I think, about 25 episodes of how
- 13:43to sell 3D printing,
- 13:46>> about 15 in Brazil. We are in the
- 13:48second season. This is the last one
- 13:51we’re recording here. So that’s 13.
- 13:56And I am sure you are the best
- 13:59entrepreneur who has ever been here,
- 14:01here in Brazil, because being an
- 14:04entrepreneur is exactly what you do.
- 14:08What makes you a good entrepreneur
- 14:11isn't knowing everything, but never
- 14:14stopping. Life didn’t give you many
- 14:20options, right? But no matter what
- 14:23happened, you always found a way to
- 14:26keep going. And we can never control
- 14:29what will happen in life. We can
- 14:32control what we are going to do. You
- 14:36always chose to move forward, keep
- 14:38working, doing everything you could,
- 14:40and that is what being an entrepreneur
- 14:43is like. So, of everyone who has been
- 14:47here, I have no doubt. You are the best
- 14:50example of what being an entrepreneur
- 14:53is. Uh, I congratulate you and thank
- 14:56you very much for coming here. You are
- 14:59an example for all of us who are coming
- 15:00up. So I congratulate you very much,
- 15:06beyond everything, for the strength you
- 15:08have and because you do it all so well.
- 15:12So our job became harder to find things
- 15:15you could do more of to sell better,
- 15:18but there are always things that can be
- 15:20improved. Still, we have good things
- 15:25here that we believe if you change a
- 15:28little, you will make more money so you
- 15:31can be a bit more relaxed in life and
- 15:34have things go more smoothly, too.
- 15:37>> Thank you.
- 15:39>> And that is why Bruce has some good
- 15:42advice on what you could do with your
- 15:45products. Right, I think you are on the
- 15:53right track, that you have a good
- 15:54lesson, you are testing well which
- 15:56products will work and which won't,
- 15:58before launching them, before bringing
- 16:00them. But I think there is something, a
- 16:04small adjustment that can be made that
- 16:05could work. For example, that print you
- 16:10showed us takes 4 hours to make, and
- 16:12today you don't have much production
- 16:14capacity, so perhaps it is a problem to
- 16:17manufacture five of these to sell,
- 16:19because making five or six takes you a
- 16:21full day of being behind the printer.
- 16:25So, I think this could work very well.
- 16:29There is a company in the United States
- 16:32called Widgets that sells small
- 16:34articulated figures; they print a ton
- 16:36of them and a bunch of varieties,
- 16:38putting them in little baskets on
- 16:40tables, and people rummage through and
- 16:42pick more than one since they are small
- 16:44. You can print them very quickly; you
- 16:48can fill the printer bed, go to sleep,
- 16:51forget about it, and the next day have
- 16:5420, 30 of these figures in varieties to
- 16:57offer, which also have a very low cost,
- 17:00and perhaps you can have a good profit
- 17:03margin by selling in quantity, because
- 17:05you can sell and manufacture many, and
- 17:08it might work better than selling three
- 17:11of these in a day. I think that is a
- 17:13good strategy that could speed things
- 17:15up for you. Added to this, you can also
- 17:19work on the subject of collections;
- 17:22work on a theme, perhaps it could be
- 17:24Halloween time, marine animals time,
- 17:27Easter time, Christmas time, and create
- 17:29collections so that the person who
- 17:32connects with the jungle animals might
- 17:35see there are five and choose all five,
- 17:37since you can make them quickly, you
- 17:40can cover that demand, and you can
- 17:42offer them well. And in addition to
- 17:47these collections, these kits, since
- 17:50people like to interact, we noticed
- 17:52that on your stand you have one product
- 17:55, two products, three, and an
- 17:57interactive scenario is not being
- 18:00created. Beyond having a ton of great
- 18:04proposals on STeleflix, the platform
- 18:06has a lot of these models that can be
- 18:09useful to you, articulated, interactive
- 18:11figures, from these games, that many
- 18:14also have a stage for you to set them
- 18:17up. So, these products won't be alone
- 18:20anymore, all these little animals,
- 18:22figures, but by interacting with the
- 18:24stage, they will connect more, they
- 18:26will work better. The presentation will
- 18:29be striking; the photos, the reels will
- 18:32grab more attention because it stops
- 18:34being just a table and transforms into
- 18:36a stage, and that stage can also be
- 18:38sold and complement this. So, optimize
- 18:41the products, products that have high
- 18:44capacity. In STLC, which is a tool that
- 18:48we have, you will add the print time,
- 18:50the weight, and it shows you how much
- 18:52you can, the price you sell it at, it
- 18:55gives you the costs, how much you earn
- 18:57per print, how much you could earn per
- 18:59day and how much you could earn per
- 19:01month. And there you choose the
- 19:04products that you can earn much more
- 19:06from
- 19:07>> so that you can sell more. Okay.
- 19:11>> So, add financial viability to your
- 19:13selection process, sell what earns you
- 19:15the most. We are in a store here
- 19:18belonging to Lucas, which is the most
- 19:20beautiful printer store I have ever
- 19:22seen.
- 19:23>> Yes, it's very good.
- 19:24>> Did you like it?
- 19:25>> Yes, I liked it.
- 19:25>> What is written on the signs in the
- 19:27store?
- 19:28>> Uh, no, I don't remember.
- 19:31>> Nobody remembers. I won't lie.
- 19:33>> But do you remember the giant figures
- 19:34in the middle of the
- 19:35>> Yes, I saw the figures. I saw Dragon
- 19:37Ball figures there too.
- 19:39>> I asked you, how do you grab attention?
- 19:42>> Yes,
- 19:43>> I have signs. Signs don't grab people's
- 19:45attention.
- 19:47>> So you have to have ways to grab
- 19:49attention so that people come to your
- 19:51table. Leave the printer on, the
- 19:53printer is perfect. There's an event.
- 19:57If you don't turn it on there, probably
- 19:58fewer people will come because there's
- 20:00nothing moving. Of course,
- 20:02>> people come when it isn't running
- 20:04>> and when it rains it's even worse, so
- 20:07>> I imagine. But the thing is, I also
- 20:10understand that you are producing
- 20:12everything you can, probably while you
- 20:14are at the fair, you are producing what
- 20:15you are going to sell and you don't
- 20:17want to waste the products. Yes,
- 20:21>> but even if there is an event or it's
- 20:23not the best condition, still leave the
- 20:25machine running because it will attract
- 20:28more people who will buy from you
- 20:30because you need people to look. The
- 20:32machine works very well to grab
- 20:34attention. In addition to that, the
- 20:37products Bruce mentioned, I did two "
- 20:39how to sell 3D printing" fairs in
- 20:41Brazil. The products that sold the most
- 20:45were these, and they sold a ton. And
- 20:48regarding the scenery he mentioned,
- 20:51they sold very few units, well, they
- 20:53sold one, two, three, and when they
- 20:55offered a discount, people bought more.
- 20:58>> Right.
- 20:59>> And I told them, "Try saying, 'I have
- 21:02the African collection,'" and they
- 21:05tried it and sold many collections of
- 21:09those themes. So, you can leave the
- 21:12sets assembled there and offer them
- 21:13just like you do with the kits.
- 21:16>> But with the articulated minis. The
- 21:18Wiglight that Bruce mentioned has 5,000
- 21:20printers in the United States. Of the
- 21:23two fairs I did, one person had the
- 21:26machine and sold a ton. The other who
- 21:29sold less, I asked him, "Why don't you
- 21:31leave the machine here?" And he told me
- 21:32, "No, because too many curious people
- 21:34come by."
- 21:36>> We need the curious people.
- 21:37>> Exactly. So, if you can, if you can't,
- 21:41leave the machine running. Do you know
- 21:44what else they were selling? That
- 21:45brings a lot of profit.
- 21:47>> What?
- 21:47>> Machines?
- 21:49>> Ah, well, yes, that's something else.
- 21:52>> And sometimes in life, we don't have
- 21:54good luck. You've had bad luck at times
- 21:57in your life, right?
- 21:58>> Yes. Yes.
- 22:00>> But out of the 13 shows we recorded,
- 22:03Lucas is here today. Uh, I don't know
- 22:06if you know, but Lucas is a machine
- 22:08distributor.
- 22:09>> No, I didn't know.
- 22:11>> My name is Lucas. Uh, we distribute 3D
- 22:14printers throughout the country from
- 22:16our company, LGS 3D. We have
- 22:20distributors pretty much all over
- 22:23Argentina. And what we wanted to offer
- 22:27you is, we ask each distributor for a
- 22:29minimum purchase of machines, a minimum
- 22:32purchase of filaments, precisely
- 22:35because the price is not the public
- 22:37retail price, you know? And what we are
- 22:42going to offer you so you can start
- 22:44selling 3D printers is a distributor
- 22:47list, a distributor price, so that when
- 22:50that curious person comes and sees the
- 22:53printer and wants to buy it, not only
- 22:55can you sell them the product you make,
- 22:58but you can also sell them the printer,
- 23:01and you get to keep a profit and a
- 23:04margin on the sale of that equipment.
- 23:07>> That's great. I love it. I love it
- 23:10because that's happened to me, meaning,
- 23:12many times people ask me, "Where can I
- 23:14buy one?" And many times I don't want
- 23:17to recommend anything because I haven't
- 23:18had good experiences, and I don't want
- 23:20people to go through the bad experience
- 23:21that I had. So many times I tell them,
- 23:24"The market," you know? So it's like
- 23:26that doesn't happen to me. Uh, what's
- 23:29more, back in August I had a big expo
- 23:32where I risked a lot of capital and so
- 23:34on, where I also brought my printer and
- 23:37all the curious people stopped by. It
- 23:40had, uh, nothing to do with what I sell
- 23:42. I, uh, bet a lot because it was in
- 23:45the sewing industry, and I went to talk
- 23:48to the distributors I knew so they
- 23:50would give me a chance to display the
- 23:52machine and so on, right? Everyone,
- 23:55since I didn't have that many followers
- 23:57, this, that, and the other, didn't
- 23:59give me the chance, and all the people
- 24:00who stopped by from out of town and
- 24:02such would tell me, "And where do we
- 24:04buy the printer?" So it's like I had
- 24:07nowhere to tell them, because if they
- 24:09hadn't given me the chance, I didn't
- 24:11know if I could say "Yes, you can buy
- 24:13it here," maybe, I don't know, I'd have
- 24:15some legal trouble. I'm like, very
- 24:18careful with that. So it's like it's,
- 24:20it's a lot. This is, uh, it's what I
- 24:23was looking for, literally, without
- 24:25knowing I was looking for it, because I
- 24:27was going to recommend it for free, I
- 24:29mean, I didn't know that by
- 24:30recommending it I could, uh, earn some
- 24:32profit or anything. Uh, I'm very
- 24:35excited. How? No, I can't really talk.
- 24:39We are going to advise you on whatever
- 24:41you need so that you can sell, apart
- 24:43from the products you manufacture, so
- 24:45that you can sell 3D printers. We are
- 24:48going to open an account for you with
- 24:51no minimum operation or purchase or
- 24:54anything, not just in case a printer
- 24:56sale comes up, but also for you, so you
- 24:59can also access a machine at a price
- 25:02much lower than the market price. Not
- 25:07only that, but we are also distributors
- 25:10of filaments and, and we have a wide
- 25:14variety of filaments and, well, what we
- 25:18want in that is to also offer you a
- 25:21list of filament distributors for your
- 25:24own consumption of filament. And so
- 25:29that you can join us on this side, so
- 25:31that you can, uh, the cost of the
- 25:34product today will already be cheaper
- 25:36for you because you will access a price
- 25:39that no private customer can access. We
- 25:42are going to make you the best list of
- 25:44products we have.
- 25:46>> Thank you so much, it really means a
- 25:48lot because my dad gave me the machine
- 25:50as a gift.
- 25:51>> The one that started it all was a gift
- 25:52from my dad. Uh, he gave it to me a
- 25:55year before the pandemic. Well,
- 25:59honestly, he was always a visionary to
- 26:01me because he brought up sublimation
- 26:03and told me, "Look, this is the way,
- 26:05this is the new thing." Then he came up
- 26:08with candy bars and said, "This is the
- 26:10way, this is the new thing." And one
- 26:13day, as a Mother's Day gift, he showed
- 26:15up with a printer, the Ender B2, and
- 26:18told me, "Look, this is the way.""3D
- 26:21printing is the future and you need to
- 26:25ride that wave." And that was it,
- 26:28that's how I got my first printer.
- 26:30>> He told me—he always had many
- 26:32visionary ideas, I'd say. At the time,
- 26:36I was doing stationery, printing, and
- 26:37such, and he told me, "This is what's
- 26:39coming, daughter, this is the future."
- 26:42And it took me a long time to get the
- 26:44hang of it because it was hard for me
- 26:45to understand the machine on my own.
- 26:48And my dad believed in me, that means a
- 26:50lot. My dad passed away during the
- 26:53pandemic, so I said, "No, I'm not going
- 26:55to let my dad's last sacrifice be for
- 26:57the machine to just sit there." I had
- 27:00to dive in through trial and error, and
- 27:02honestly, I don't regret it at all. And
- 27:03if my dad were here today, I’d tell
- 27:05him he was absolutely right, because
- 27:07today, when I see everything they do in
- 27:093D printing, it's incredible. So he was
- 27:12right that this was the path, and
- 27:14honestly, I've been an entrepreneur in
- 27:16different fields for 15 years, and I
- 27:18don't want to leave 3D printing. It’s
- 27:21something I'm passionate about, it
- 27:22gives me peace of mind, and it keeps me
- 27:23entertained as well. So, it's great.
- 27:26And my greatest gift isn't just the
- 27:28profits, because one has to survive and
- 27:31so on, but the smile of every child who
- 27:33takes home one of my toys. That means a
- 27:36lot. Or a customer who picks up an
- 27:39order and is satisfied with every
- 27:41detail because I don't even leave a
- 27:43string of glue, nothing; I pay
- 27:45attention to everything, and honestly,
- 27:47all the things they say mean so much.
- 27:50Everything is a huge, huge gift. Just
- 27:53accessing the platform—I could never
- 27:55afford it, I won't lie to you. I always
- 27:58liked some things but couldn't access
- 28:00them. And so all of this is a gift,
- 28:03truly, thank you so much, really. So it
- 28:08didn't end.
- 28:12>> In that Teleflix, there’s also a
- 28:14model of a Medusa, you know? The Medusa
- 28:17that if you look at it, you turn to
- 28:20stone, but the cobras have motors and
- 28:24they all spin. I'll show you a video
- 28:27and you'll see. When we participated in
- 28:29the Brazil Expo
- 28:31>> we brought it along. You have no idea
- 28:33how many stories people post. Just of
- 28:36the jellyfish. So it's one more way to
- 28:39bring in a lot of people because in
- 28:42sales, online, on MercadoLibre, or at
- 28:45fairs, it's all about stages. The first
- 28:48is attraction, so you have to improve
- 28:50how you attract people. The second,
- 28:53once they arrive, is conversion; you
- 28:56have to sell.
- 28:58>> Yes. So you have the products there,
- 29:01and that's why you use sets, so your
- 29:04table is a creative space, not just
- 29:07things on a table, which is why you
- 29:09want people to play with your products,
- 29:12right? So it has to look like a place
- 29:15to play.
- 29:17>> And besides that, you said you have
- 29:19another sign that says something about
- 29:21personalized items, something like that
- 29:23.
- 29:24>> Yes, yes, something about custom items
- 29:26and such. Um, and well, I also put that
- 29:28I offer wholesale pricing and such,
- 29:30it's all on the sign.
- 29:31>> Which probably not many read,
- 29:34>> right? Because when they all crowd
- 29:36around, the signs get blocked by the
- 29:37people themselves.
- 29:38>> Oh, what they are doing is playing and
- 29:42and they don't read the signs. What the
- 29:46people I visited do, which helps them
- 29:48sell more outside the shop. Often,
- 29:52depending on the time of year or the
- 29:56fair, they have examples of products
- 29:59they customize for businesses,
- 30:02companies, and ventures on the packages
- 30:06. Everything we have at Cflix. Plus,
- 30:10we'll give you everything we have, the
- 30:12models, the courses, our guide, our
- 30:14tool that calculates prices; you'll get
- 30:17all of that too. We have many models
- 30:21that are fidget toys like yours, where
- 30:24you can easily add logos and other
- 30:26personalized details. So, I can leave
- 30:31an area there with three or four models
- 30:34where you can write your logo here.
- 30:39Okay.
- 30:39>> Your brand here will be much easier
- 30:42because at STLA, a new model generator
- 30:45comes out every week. So, we have over
- 30:4880 types of models there that you can
- 30:51customize however you want. So you can
- 30:54test different ones to see which one
- 30:57draws more attention from people, so
- 30:59they place orders of 100, 200 for
- 31:01companies, which can help you sell
- 31:03outside the store, outside the fair.
- 31:06>> Sure. Outside the fair. So it's
- 31:08something that can help you a lot. At
- 31:12STLAflix, we also have—I asked you
- 31:14about the table—why do you have the
- 31:15idea that the more space and products
- 31:17you show, the better?
- 31:19>> Sure,
- 31:20>> but the thing is, when there's a lot on
- 31:22the table, you can't carry that much
- 31:23stuff.
- 31:25>> like the wall you have and since space
- 31:28is limited at that TFX, we made
- 31:30something to hang,
- 31:32>> yes, to hang
- 31:33>> the dragons here. So you can leave them
- 31:36on the table, there’s a stand to hold
- 31:38the dragons and you leave them hanging
- 31:39in front of the table.
- 31:42>> Oh, no, I didn’t see them.
- 31:43>> So it’s something that grabs
- 31:44people’s attention and kids can play.
- 31:47So it’s one more space the table has
- 31:50that also lets people play and see,
- 31:52they’re drawn in. So it’s something
- 31:55that would help you more when you
- 31:57can’t bring more things so you can
- 32:00also use the front of the table.
- 32:02What’s going to help you sell more?
- 32:03It’s attracting more people and
- 32:05having more space available. And
- 32:06there’s one thing that can really
- 32:09improve selling more and it’s
- 32:11something Lucas does here.
- 32:13>> What?
- 32:15>> Here at the Credit Concept Store, what
- 32:18we do is have customers join a WhatsApp
- 32:21group via a QR code. So, you mentioned
- 32:26that you gave a flyer to the potential
- 32:28customer, to this person approaching,
- 32:31but that often ends up being thrown
- 32:33away, they don’t know where they put
- 32:36it, maybe they kept it in their pants
- 32:38pocket and then lost it. So, we think
- 32:42it’s a very simple thing where you
- 32:45can start creating your own WhatsApp
- 32:47channel, for what? So you can, uh,
- 32:50share news, about everything you’re
- 32:53going to, the new things you’re going
- 32:57to start producing, where you’re
- 32:59going to be; and that way it’s a QR,
- 33:02a quick scan and that person is already
- 33:05linked to that WhatsApp group, to that
- 33:09WhatsApp channel, and that way you’ll
- 33:12be able to have more back-and-forth
- 33:15with customers and show what you do.
- 33:18This, all this new stuff being
- 33:19developed at STL FX, you’ll be able
- 33:21to show that you’ll have it at such
- 33:23and such a fair, that you’ll be in
- 33:24such a place, and that they can come by
- 33:26. For us, it’s a communication
- 33:27channel we use a lot and it’s a
- 33:29channel and something that gives us
- 33:30great results. We have social media
- 33:33experts here and, well, if it works for
- 33:36us, they can give you many more tips on
- 33:40everything they do.
- 33:43>> But it’s something, it’s something
- 33:45very simple
- 33:47>> where you’ll be able to generate this
- 33:49connection with that customer or
- 33:50potential customer. We were also
- 33:54analyzing where you could create
- 33:56content, because it’s important not
- 33:58just to reach more people, but so they
- 34:00always remember that you are there. So,
- 34:04it’s good to always show up, but you
- 34:06can't just sit at home and waste time
- 34:09making content when you could be with
- 34:11your daughters, managing the printers,
- 34:13or sleeping.
- 34:14>> Right. Yes.
- 34:16>> So, we wanted to see how to find hours
- 34:19in your day that pay off. I think the
- 34:22best time is, you said that at one
- 34:24point you finish setting up and while
- 34:26people are entertained you have an hour
- 34:28or an hour and a half free, with the
- 34:29stand looking nice and set up.
- 34:31>> Yes.
- 34:32>> In that hour and a half, you could take
- 34:34out your phone and do a TikTok live,
- 34:36for example.
- 34:37>> Oh, I don't know how that's done.
- 34:39>> I could, but I don't know how to do it.
- 34:41On TikTok, there always has to be
- 34:42something in motion. The
- 34:44>> the jellyfish, for example.
- 34:46>> The jellyfish. I remember
- 34:48>> of course, make sure there's always
- 34:49something moving, and you yourself will
- 34:51go, you're a very good entrepreneur,
- 34:52you'll realize what works and what
- 34:53doesn't. So you'll start a live and
- 34:56you'll realize that when you show
- 34:58certain things or certain movements,
- 35:00people interact, and you start getting
- 35:02more engagement and TikTok or YouTube,
- 35:04wherever you do it, recommends it more.
- 35:08I recommend TikTok for doing lives
- 35:10because at some point TikTok Shop will
- 35:11surely come to Argentina, so you'll
- 35:13already be getting used to doing lives
- 35:14on TikTok for half an hour, an hour,
- 35:16whatever free time you have at the fair
- 35:17. So you make yourself known and you
- 35:21can put the link to the WhatsApp group.
- 35:23So you tell people, "Do you like this?"
- 35:25"I'm selling through my WhatsApp link."
- 35:27And people go there, or the WhatsApp
- 35:29link in your bio, and it guides them
- 35:30there and starts generating traffic. So
- 35:35, just by doing a half-hour or one-hour
- 35:37live, you can manage to replace that
- 35:39part of the content; I don't recommend
- 35:41you start making reels—well, I do
- 35:43recommend making easy videos. You take
- 35:47the easy videos you made, then you see
- 35:49what has the most engagement on TikTok,
- 35:51you record it like that, and you upload
- 35:53it as a reel,
- 35:54>> okay? Always invite people to join the
- 35:57WhatsApp group. Do this in your free
- 36:00time, don't use up your own time. I
- 36:03don't think it's worth it for you to
- 36:05sacrifice an hour of your day to make
- 36:06content. And making a viral video is
- 36:09the same process as choosing products
- 36:10that are going to sell. The same
- 36:12process you do. You know that this
- 36:14fidget is viral and it sells. You have
- 36:17to look for which videos are viral and
- 36:20replicate them in that short time.
- 36:22>> We’ve been good to you so far.
- 36:27>> Yes, thank you very much.
- 36:28>> Now it's time to talk about the things
- 36:30you did wrong.
- 36:32>> Because there are things you did very
- 36:33wrong here. Truth be told, you did it
- 36:37so poorly that you missed an
- 36:38opportunity. The application here. You
- 36:44didn't say anything about your story
- 36:46when you signed up to come here. No,
- 36:49>> all we knew was that you sold at fairs,
- 36:52but we knew nothing about you. Yes,
- 36:56>> because you didn't do it well. The
- 37:01thing is, Crealichi had given us three
- 37:05kits to support entrepreneurs who
- 37:08needed more production capacity and had
- 37:12a lot of potential, with printers,
- 37:15filament, and all that.
- 37:20>> If I had done the application right,
- 37:24I'm sure I would be there.
- 37:26>> There is a reason for it. I didn't do
- 37:28it. I don't want people to see me for
- 37:30what happened to me. I want people to
- 37:33see me for what I am doing. I mean,
- 37:35what I did was to keep looking for ways
- 37:38to keep producing. Everyone told me, "
- 37:42Well, you can't keep being an
- 37:43entrepreneur, find a job, find
- 37:45something, clean houses and so on," but
- 37:47I do this. So, I know that even though
- 37:52it went wrong that time, it didn't work
- 37:55out, I know this is for me, because I
- 37:58know I can give more with this. I don't
- 38:03know how to design yet; I watch videos
- 38:06and try to learn, but some day my goal
- 38:09is to make one of my own, that is my
- 38:12goal. So, I don't want to go around
- 38:16telling people, "Oh, yes, I'm, this
- 38:18happened to me, that happened," no, I'm
- 38:20doing this and I am this and I keep
- 38:22going and so on. For that reason, I
- 38:24didn't include it.
- 38:27>> That's fine, I understand your motive
- 38:29and it's a very good motive, but this
- 38:32kit we had, we would have really loved
- 38:35to support you with it. Today is the
- 38:40last day we are recording. We have
- 38:42already done all 13 and they are
- 38:44already gone. And bad luck, but
- 38:48sometimes life has bad luck, sometimes
- 38:51good luck, but in your case today it's
- 38:54not bad luck; today it is good luck
- 38:56because, for the first time, Lucas is
- 38:59here and Lucas has a mission, like us,
- 39:02to support people who are starting out,
- 39:05be it with models, with courses, with a
- 39:08printer, with filament, and we are
- 39:10going to support you with all that, but
- 39:13also with the kit. We spoke, Teleflix
- 39:18and Lucas and right by your side is the
- 39:21kit you're taking home.
- 39:24>> No.
- 39:25>> Creality printers there, Lucas,
- 39:28>> no, it's too much. Because no, no, no,
- 39:33it's really too much, man, my God. Well
- 39:38, this is something that we generated,
- 39:40or was generated, just recently.
- 39:44Truthfully, it's my first time
- 39:45participating in this, and when Lincoln
- 39:47told me, "
- 39:51>> How great."
- 39:52>> When there's luck.
- 39:54>> Chapter number 13. 13 is a very strong
- 39:57number, too. How great, right? How
- 39:59great.
- 40:00>> And Lincoln told me between LGS 3D and
- 40:03Teleflix, we have to generate this. The
- 40:07other kits have already been delivered.
- 40:10The kits that had been proposed, that
- 40:11Creality had provided, aren't there
- 40:13anymore. They are already gone. And
- 40:15well, at that moment, it was something
- 40:18very nice. Lincoln and I shook hands
- 40:20and said, "We have to do this." So
- 40:22there you have two Ender and seven
- 40:26combo, uh, 12 kg of filament and a
- 40:29dryer.
- 40:32>> Thank you so much, it's a lot. I never
- 40:34even had a dryer. No, it's a lot,
- 40:39honestly. You are very, very good
- 40:42people, truly. I don't know. I don't
- 40:46know, I would have put the thing, I
- 40:47would have put it, it doesn't matter,
- 40:48because it already turned out well.
- 40:50Thank you so much, really. This is a
- 40:52huge amount. No, I never would have
- 40:55imagined it. I thought Bruno was going
- 40:57to give me ideas to improve my content
- 40:59and so on. I never imagined it would be
- 41:02this much. Honestly, I can't even speak
- 41:06from the emotion I'm feeling.
- 41:10>> But all this is only happening because
- 41:12you insisted, because when everything
- 41:15went wrong and they told you to go find
- 41:17a job, clean houses, you said I want to
- 41:20make this work and I don't just want to
- 41:22. Everything is in your hands to make
- 41:25it work and life is like that. We never
- 41:28know what will happen. But only good
- 41:30things happen if we persist. Bad things
- 41:33will also happen,
- 41:35>> but you have to overcome them, and you
- 41:36overcame them. Sometimes good things
- 41:39can come. Most people aren't going to
- 41:43win a kit like this, but a good order
- 41:45or a good production partner might come
- 41:47along, and it's worth it. I was
- 41:50expecting a good content platform. It's
- 41:54all so much.
- 41:56>> Almost.
- 41:57>> And on top of that, my daughter said to
- 41:58me, "Mom, what are you going to say?"
- 42:00I'll tell them whatever they ask,
- 42:02because I hadn't seen a single episode,
- 42:04so I didn't know what this was like.
- 42:06And.
- 42:07>> You did it poorly too.
- 42:11>> And you guys put up with this until the
- 42:12end. I don't know how you did it. You
- 42:17are a very persevering person, you are
- 42:19a very brave person, you are someone
- 42:22who is taking care of three children
- 42:24today and
- 42:26>> and we really believe this will help
- 42:29you. You are going to more than double
- 42:32your production. These printers print
- 42:34at a completely different speed than
- 42:35the equipment you already have. These
- 42:38are machines that print with four
- 42:39filaments, less waste,
- 42:41>> less waste and, well, for us this is
- 42:44really something very nice that it
- 42:47happened in this way and in this form,
- 42:51>> right? It's a lot. It's a lot. It's not
- 42:53just nice. It's a lot. It's a lot.
- 42:57Honestly, I didn't expect it and I am
- 42:59very grateful, truly. I don't, I don't
- 43:03have, I don't have words to say thank
- 43:06you for everything you are doing, the
- 43:09platform itself was already a lot, so
- 43:12that was already a lot for me and, well
- 43:15, thanks, really, thanks. It's good
- 43:18that they look at entrepreneurs from
- 43:20everywhere, not just those who have a
- 43:22ton of followers, because it's very
- 43:23hard to keep having that number of
- 43:25followers.
- 43:26>> I, for example, I was telling you,
- 43:28right?
- 43:29>> You tell him for him.
- 43:31>> What do you think if one of them is
- 43:35heading home now because he's going to
- 43:37be a dad?
- 43:38>> Oh, congratulations.
- 43:40>> But then he should be back in Buenos
- 43:42Aires and the two of them could go with
- 43:43Bruce to make some content with you.
- 43:46>> Oh, yes. Thank you so much. It moves me
- 43:49because I have no idea about content.
- 43:51>> We can we can make the visit. Yes. And
- 43:54there to show what you do. They already
- 43:57make some content together. They teach
- 43:59you how to make the videos because he
- 44:01says, "No, do it like this for 10
- 44:02million views for you. I I love him. I
- 44:07don't have 10,000." So, time to learn
- 44:10what he does, right?
- 44:11>> Yes. Thank you so much, really. Thanks
- 44:14to everyone, to all four of you.
- 44:16Honestly, you all went above and beyond
- 44:18, you're a huge help from your place,
- 44:20from your side. Honestly, thank you so
- 44:23much, really,
- 44:24>> it's a pleasure.
- 44:25>> And me watching Bru's stories with his
- 44:27puppy.
- 44:31>> And also Mayira is not the only one who
- 44:36can take the kit because we are going
- 44:39to do a live to teach you how to sell
- 44:413D printing and there, too, one person
- 44:43is going to win the kit. Uh, a visit to
- 44:47make the plan. So, if you want it to be
- 44:51you, maybe it's your lucky day, sign up
- 44:53at the link and we'll see you in the
- 44:55live
- 44:56>> with much joy.
- 44:57>> With much joy.

- 45:00>> How much joy?
- 45:01>> So much joy. Subscribe.
- 45:04>> And don't forget to subscribe to the
- 45:06channel because many other stories are
- 45:09coming. And we'll see you in the next
- 45:11videos. And if you also want to buy
- 45:15your printer or buy another one for
- 45:17your farm, you can buy a Sparks i7

- 45:41want to help her and get a machine at a
- 45:43discount, you just have to follow the
- 45:45steps you are seeing right now in the
