2. 0:02this Facebook ads Mastery course and
3. 0:06um in this video we are going to discuss
4. 0:08some more things about business manager
5. 0:11and AD account basically how to set up
6. 0:13all the meta business suite and your ads
7. 0:17manager so that we are ready to run any
8. 0:19kind of campaign right it might be a bit
9. 0:22boring but trust me this is the most
10. 0:24important part where you learn how to
11. 0:25set up and these things you don't do
12. 0:27usually so you uh sometimes forget so
13. 0:30you need to have a strong understanding
14. 0:31of how to set up but if you are a
15. 0:34professional and you are going to let's
16. 0:35say join an agency all of this will be
17. 0:38already set up so you probably will
18. 0:40directly go ahead and run campaigns but
19. 0:43trust me this is important information
20. 0:45to know as well
21. 0:47because I have seen people who directly
22. 0:48joined agencies started working there
23. 0:51and they became experts on Facebook ad
24. 0:53but they don't know these kind of things
25. 0:54how to set up payment methods how to set
26. 0:56up different kind of entities so that's
27. 0:59what we will discuss in this particular
28. 1:01section how to add payment methods how
29. 1:03to add pages to business manager and how
30. 1:05to add users to business manager right
31. 1:08you might be a bit confused about we are
32. 1:11learning so many things just put things
33. 1:13into perspective so this is what we have
34. 1:16been doing so far so we uh first created
35. 1:19this is like the ideal setup before you
36. 1:21run that professionally you can skip
37. 1:23some of these steps but it's always good
38. 1:25to know information right so that's why
39. 1:27I designed this course in such a way
40. 1:29that before we start making actual
41. 1:31campaigns
42. 1:32you know how to basically set up
43. 1:34everything
44. 1:35and make your account ready to go live
45. 1:38so the first thing we learned is have a
46. 1:40Facebook profile everyone needs to have
47. 1:42a Facebook profile if they want to run
48. 1:43ads on Facebook ads
49. 1:45um basically to use ad manager account
50. 1:47and stuff and then you need to have a
51. 1:49Facebook page which we created then we
52. 1:52created a business manager account and
53. 1:54then we created ad account in the last
54. 1:56video we created these three things now
55. 1:59basically we are ready we have an ad
56. 2:01account now we can directly go ahead and
57. 2:02run campaigns but in actual real life
58. 2:05scenarios if you have to run these
59. 2:07campaigns in ad account you basically
60. 2:08need to have a payment method you need
61. 2:10to because you need to pay Facebook the
62. 2:13campaign costs whatever
63. 2:15camping you run you generally we do it
64. 2:18through a credit card or a debit card
65. 2:20but it depends on a lot of country so
66. 2:22for example in India they accept
67. 2:24um I don't know UPI or anything else as
68. 2:27well maybe in certain countries they
69. 2:28accept Paypal as well but generally
70. 2:31throughout the world cards uh credit
71. 2:33cards and debit cards are accepted so we
72. 2:36will know how to add that payment method
73. 2:37Because unless you have a payment method
74. 2:39added your campaigns can never run
75. 2:42then we will know how to link or add the
76. 2:45Facebook page the Facebook page we
77. 2:47created we will now link it to our
78. 2:50business manager now the other way is
79. 2:52once you create business manager then
80. 2:54you create a Facebook page but generally
81. 2:56people create a Facebook page separately
82. 2:58and then link it which is uh easy the
83. 3:01all of these things are easy
84. 3:02it's just few steps and then we will
85. 3:05know how to add users now this is an
86. 3:07optional step so for example if you are
87. 3:08a freelancer and you don't have anyone
88. 3:10else in your team you will not need to
89. 3:12add users but I will still show you it's
90. 3:14very easy how to add users to your
91. 3:16business manager and give them access
92. 3:18and uh then we will the last thing that
93. 3:21the spending is set up conversion
94. 3:22tracking which is only used for
95. 3:25conversion campaign so for example if
96. 3:27you want to run leads and ads awareness
97. 3:29campaigns focusing on views increasing
98. 3:32followers of Facebook those kind of
99. 3:34campaigns you don't need this but if you
100. 3:36are running conversion campaigns meaning
101. 3:37that you are sending uh people who click
102. 3:40on your ads to your website or app and
103. 3:42you want them to take an action there
104. 3:43which you want to kind of track in
105. 3:45Facebook how many of the people who
106. 3:47clicked on the ad went to my website how
107. 3:49many of them fill the lead form on my
108. 3:52website how many of them actually
109. 3:54purchase something what was the total
110. 3:56sales value of all the people who
111. 3:58clicked on this campaign and how much
112. 4:00products did they buy were so all of
113. 4:04that if you want to do like drag things
114. 4:06on your website or apps then you need to
115. 4:08set up conversion tracking as well it's
116. 4:10very important it's straightforward and
117. 4:12basically that will be our next video
118. 4:14once we have all this set up trust me
119. 4:17we are good to go uh we can go ahead and
120. 4:19start campaigns and learn more about
121. 4:21Facebook ads strategies and stuff but
122. 4:23this is like one of the important it's
123. 4:26it's not boring but it's the most
124. 4:29important part in learning Facebook ads
125. 4:33now the first thing we will learn is uh
126. 4:35adding payment methods because we
127. 4:36already learned how up to how to create
128. 4:38ad accounts now we will learn how to add
129. 4:40payment methods now about payment
130. 4:43methods you need to remember one small
131. 4:45thing that there are two ways to add
132. 4:47payment methods so one thing you need to
133. 4:49remember is payment methods are added to
134. 4:52each ad account right every ad account
135. 4:54has a payment method so if you have two
136. 4:56clients you have two ad accounts for
137. 4:57them you can have separate payment
138. 4:59methods let's say One credit card or One
139. 5:01debit card for client one and one for
140. 5:03the client to add account so an ad
141. 5:05account has a payment method right you
142. 5:07add a payment method to an ad account
143. 5:10that's one way the other way is you add
144. 5:13your payment method to your whole
145. 5:15business manager so all the ad accounts
146. 5:17that you add in that business manager
147. 5:19can share that credit card but so in
148. 5:22real life let me give you some examples
149. 5:24so for example I was working for an
150. 5:25agency let's say a small agency right we
151. 5:28had 10 clients and for all the 10
152. 5:29clients we use the same company credit
153. 5:32card right so we didn't have to add it
154. 5:34to each ad account separately so what we
155. 5:37did did we added it directly to the
156. 5:38business manager any new ad account or
157. 5:41existing ad account we had for any
158. 5:43clients we used to select that so we
159. 5:45don't have to add it every time in each
160. 5:46ad account we add it at business manager
161. 5:48level it's that's simple but even if you
162. 5:51add it at the business manager level
163. 5:53sometimes you would get a client they
164. 5:55would say you have to use our credit
165. 5:57card we can still go ahead and for
166. 6:00example choose a different credit card
167. 6:03or a payment method for that ad account
168. 6:05so it's up to you it's just for your
169. 6:07ease you add it to your business manager
170. 6:09and if you create a new ad account you
171. 6:10still have an option to directly use the
172. 6:13one added to the business manager or
173. 6:15create a new one new payment method for
174. 6:17this particular ad account or change
175. 6:18it's that simple don't get confused in
176. 6:21this okay so let's go to our business
177. 6:23suite and we will see how to add credit
178. 6:26cards that is our next logical step I'll
179. 6:30show you from until you get used I'll
180. 6:31show you from the beginning again so
181. 6:34this is the website you generally go to
182. 6:35business.facebook.com it will take you
183. 6:37to the business manager here
184. 6:39so this is our business manager if you
185. 6:41click here you see uh this is our
186. 6:44business manager if you have to go to
187. 6:45business manager settings we click on
188. 6:47this one like last video there are
189. 6:49multiple ways to add it but this is the
190. 6:51most easiest and simple one now we are
191. 6:53in Senator Vietnam ads business manager
192. 6:55this is uh these are the settings to
193. 6:58this particular uh business manager now
194. 7:00on the left hand side you will see
195. 7:02billing and payments now once you click
196. 7:05on billing and payments it will take you
197. 7:06here and if you see always check this we
198. 7:09are in Senator we are an ads business
199. 7:10manager click on payment methods it
200. 7:13shows there are no payment methods added
201. 7:15at the moment and this is fortunately
202. 7:17this appeared and this is one good thing
203. 7:19because we will get to learn something
204. 7:21now now if you see it saying that I as a
205. 7:24user do not have edit permissions to add
206. 7:26payment methods which means me as a user
207. 7:29do not have permissions to add credit
208. 7:31cards and stuff like that to change
209. 7:32payment methods now for that what we do
210. 7:35is we go here back to our business
211. 7:37manager this is our business manager now
212. 7:39to change anything we click on here then
213. 7:42we click on the settings and now I will
214. 7:44go to the users right people there's
215. 7:47only one user which is Osama now in or
216. 7:49because I don't have permissions I will
217. 7:52have to give me permissions to add
218. 7:54payment methods right because I am the
219. 7:56admin if it happens to other people
220. 7:58somebody says I'm not able to add credit
221. 8:00card you go there onto their name and
222. 8:03here
223. 8:04now it shows that what all I have access
224. 8:06to so just next to my name there's these
225. 8:10three dots click on edit business
226. 8:11account permissions now if you see here
227. 8:15click on view Advanced I don't have
228. 8:18Finance uh
229. 8:19um access it says None right so I'll
230. 8:22click here and click on manage so now I
231. 8:26gave access to my myself to change
232. 8:29billing addresses right
233. 8:33so if you if there is a user in your
234. 8:35account and he's not he sees the same
235. 8:38message he'll not be able to because I
236. 8:39am the admin I'm the creator of the
237. 8:41account that's why I can provide access
238. 8:42to myself that particular user will have
239. 8:45to reach out to one of the admins
240. 8:47now I click on refresh if you see the
241. 8:50this should go away okay see the error
242. 8:53message went away so I have access now I
243. 8:56can add a payment method now so I'll
244. 8:59click on ADD business payment method
245. 9:01I'll click on ADD
246. 9:03okay it's showing um what region are you
247. 9:06based in so I'll select Germany
248. 9:09um which currency do you want to pay in
249. 9:10so my card is in Euros so I'll pay in
250. 9:13Euros
251. 9:14um and you have to do the same thing
252. 9:16because
253. 9:17um whatever card you have it's better to
254. 9:19choose that particular currency and that
255. 9:20region because sometimes in certain
256. 9:22countries you can save on a lot of tax
257. 9:25or show that you paid any kind of taxes
258. 9:28like GST and stuff so based on um
259. 9:31Germany and currency Euro I get these
260. 9:34two options in certain countries you
261. 9:36will get maybe one more option which is
262. 9:38very popular in your region right online
263. 9:40banking is one option and credit card
264. 9:42you will see everywhere right so I will
265. 9:45choose credit card and debit card and
266. 9:46click on next and I just have to add
267. 9:49name on the card card number this one
268. 9:52and CVV and click on Save that's it
269. 9:55that's how you add a payment method
270. 9:58now because I don't have my card here at
271. 10:01the moment so I'll just skip this but
272. 10:02that's how you add it you click on Save
273. 10:04that's all now what happens is if
274. 10:07because this is added to the business
275. 10:09manager right now in every ad account
276. 10:11you'll get an option do you want to
277. 10:13create a new payment method or use the
278. 10:15one in your business manager so for
279. 10:17example I have this open here my ad
280. 10:19manager account so in this one you can
281. 10:22also go to settings of business because
282. 10:24this is AD account right
283. 10:27um so it says here that uh make payments
284. 10:30manage payments Etc so I'll click on
285. 10:32here
286. 10:33if you see I'm in payment settings again
287. 10:36but this is OS Ahmed Senator we run ads
288. 10:38ad account
289. 10:40okay so
290. 10:42um this is the payment settings what
291. 10:44I'll do is I can click on ADD payment
292. 10:46method so generally if you have already
293. 10:48created one um I'll click on next if you
294. 10:52have already created one payment method
295. 10:54in your business manager you will get an
296. 10:56option here so generally
297. 10:59um one more thing to remember is if you
298. 11:01add a payment method in your ad account
299. 11:03you might get some additional options
300. 11:05right because in business manager you
301. 11:07you are considered by Facebook as a
302. 11:09business so it will give you limited
303. 11:10options like a credit card or online
304. 11:12banking but in an ad account it can be
305. 11:15someone a non-business user can do it
306. 11:18like let's say I have a small business
307. 11:20and I just want to run ads for myself so
308. 11:24then obviously Facebook gives a lot more
309. 11:26options so for example if you see here I
310. 11:28get PayPal option as well which I didn't
311. 11:31get at business manager level but at ad
312. 11:32account level you get this so if you are
313. 11:35looking for some options which is only
314. 11:36available in ad account it's better to
315. 11:38use that payment within your ad account
316. 11:41and not at your business manager anyways
317. 11:44so I can add one more payment method to
318. 11:46this ad account which is always Senator
319. 11:48and ads but if I had already
320. 11:52created a payment method because I did
321. 11:54not save my card on at business manager
322. 11:56level then I will get an option here
323. 11:57which says use a payment method from
324. 12:02your business manager I would have to
325. 12:04check that it will automatically take
326. 12:06that payment method and that card or
327. 12:08whatever so these are the two ways every
328. 12:10ad account you get an option to either
329. 12:12add everything from scratch or you will
330. 12:15get an option here that use payment
331. 12:17method from your business manager if you
332. 12:18have already added that in our case I
333. 12:21did not add that so it's not appearing
334. 12:23here
335. 12:23so that is all about adding uh payment
336. 12:26methods and
337. 12:28um basically once you do that then your
338. 12:31credit card is linked once you run the
339. 12:32campaigns you will get deductions from
340. 12:34your uh payment method generally what
341. 12:37happens is
342. 12:39when you use your credit card in a new
343. 12:41ad account Facebook will deduct small
344. 12:44amounts in the beginning so whenever you
345. 12:45spend let's say ten dollars Facebook
346. 12:47will deduct from your card as you keep
347. 12:49running the campaigns as Facebook keeps
348. 12:51uh deducting from your card then
349. 12:53Facebook will show you that your limit
350. 12:55is increasing so Facebook will trust you
351. 12:57until maybe let's say 100 and every time
352. 13:00you cross that amount your campaigns
353. 13:02cross that amount then it will deduct
354. 13:03and it will keep increasing there will
355. 13:05be a level maybe Facebook will not
356. 13:07deduct anything from your card until you
357. 13:09spend thousand dollars and stuff like
358. 13:11that but that uh that that happens with
359. 13:14with time so this leads us to our second
360. 13:16uh point which is how to link at the
361. 13:19Facebook page now obviously like you you
362. 13:21need payment methods to use in an ad
363. 13:23account as we know from the beginning we
364. 13:26also need a Facebook page to run ads in
365. 13:29an ad account so that page has to be
366. 13:31linked with your business manager and
367. 13:33then you can link it use it within any
368. 13:35of your ad accounts right so how to use
369. 13:38that is our next step how how to link or
370. 13:40add the Facebook page now you don't have
371. 13:42to remember all of these steps like but
372. 13:44whatever we are discussing you need to
373. 13:47know how to do it and once you have are
374. 13:50setting up everything you do it once you
375. 13:52will remember all these steps right what
376. 13:54are the requirements like adding a page
377. 13:56adding a payment method it's pretty
378. 13:58straightforward
379. 13:59now for that what I'll do is I will
380. 14:01again go to my business manager I will
381. 14:03show you again from the beginning
382. 14:06until you are used to the this UI so
383. 14:10I'll go to business.facebook.com
384. 14:12uh it takes me here okay so in our case
385. 14:16what I'll do is I'll again go to the
386. 14:17settings bar I'll go it will redirect me
387. 14:20here I'll go to business assets you can
388. 14:23see so these are all the assets you can
389. 14:25see here for example ad accounts we have
390. 14:27this ad account within this business
391. 14:28manager which we created in the previous
392. 14:30video and similarly Pages you will see
393. 14:33there is no page added as of now now if
394. 14:36you are confused in the last video we
395. 14:38created the page we have not linked that
396. 14:40yet now I can go ahead and create a page
397. 14:43now I can create new pages and add those
398. 14:46later to my business manager account now
399. 14:49for that I'll go to Pages if you see it
400. 14:51says there is no page added to this
401. 14:53business manager I'll click on add pages
402. 14:55uh I'll get an option to create a new
403. 14:58page so if I hadn't created a page in my
404. 15:00previous video I'll still get an option
405. 15:01to create new page here but we have
406. 15:04already created so we'll go to uh
407. 15:06request to share a Facebook page because
408. 15:09that already exists and you will do the
409. 15:11same thing if you are requesting in a
410. 15:13Facebook page access to a client so the
411. 15:16client says okay you can run ads for us
412. 15:18you create an ad account for them but
413. 15:21you still need access to your ad account
414. 15:23access to on that page so that's how you
415. 15:25do it so let's say you have all set up
416. 15:27you got a new client now the only thing
417. 15:30you need from client is the access to
418. 15:31their Facebook page if they agree that
419. 15:33you create an ad account in your
420. 15:35business manager and everything so this
421. 15:37is the process you follow so request to
422. 15:40share a Facebook page the third option I
423. 15:42don't have any page at the moment so
424. 15:44it's saying that there should be one
425. 15:46primary page if you already have page
426. 15:48added and you're requesting with your
427. 15:49client you will not get this option
428. 15:51right so I'll choose add a page now
429. 15:54Facebook page name or URL now if you
430. 15:57remember this is our page as digital
431. 15:59training which we created so I'll copy
432. 16:01the link you can ask the same thing from
433. 16:03your client to provide this particular
434. 16:05link or you can search for a name let's
435. 16:07say uh BBC
436. 16:09so it will show all BBC pages right so
437. 16:11in our case it's easier to link because
438. 16:14sometimes if it's a small page it will
439. 16:16not appear here so just put the link
440. 16:18here it will show you okay the page name
441. 16:20yes this is the one I'll click on ADD
442. 16:23page
443. 16:24add ident undefined since you are
444. 16:28already page admin on this page your
445. 16:30request was approved automatically right

502. 18:48have one more person in my company I'll
503. 18:49add them to business manager so any AD
504. 18:52accounts and pages in my business
505. 18:53manager I can provide him access at once
506. 18:56so I'll add him to my business manager
507. 18:58and say he should have access to all ad
508. 18:59accounts add account one two three
509. 19:01whatever right it becomes easy and
510. 19:04anyone any new client who gives access
511. 19:06to our business manager in turn I can
512. 19:09provide access to this particular user

548. 20:26that they'll be working here for only
549. 20:28three months so you can provide
550. 20:29temporary access until a particular date
551. 20:31but if it's a full-time employee you
552. 20:32don't know until when you need the
553. 20:34access so you just turn it off I'll
554. 20:37click on next it'll again Ask me the
555. 20:39same things what kind of role so for
556. 20:41this person let's say I give them full
557. 20:44control I give them I don't give them
558. 20:46full control but I give them Finance
559. 20:50Finance role so that they can add credit

562. 20:57providing access so I'll click on manage
