  1. 0:00are you uploading shorts but every one
  2. 0:01of them is getting no views and you're
  3. 0:03left wondering what magic button to
  4. 0:04press to push it through the YouTube
  5. 0:06algorithm to start getting those views
  6. 0:07but what if I told you it's not the
  7. 0:09algorithm's fault it's probably because
  8. 0:11of some mistakes you're making and if
  9. 0:13you avoid them you can start getting not
  10. 0:14just a few views but thousands and who
  11. 0:16knows maybe even Millions depending on
  12. 0:18your Niche stick with me and I'll show
  13. 0:20you how all right first mistake that you
  14. 0:22must be making is uploading a lot of
  15. 0:24shorts in just a day in general terms
  16. 0:26you'd call this spam you keep on
  17. 0:28uploading one after another with just a
  18. 0:30few minutes gap between them and that's
  19. 0:31a big no no it can overwhelm your
  20. 0:33subscribers and mess with your reach
  21. 0:35YouTube's algorithm isn't in favor of
  22. 0:37spamming and it's clearly mentioned in
  23. 0:38its Community guidelines too so don't
  24. 0:41make this mistake instead try to upload
  25. 0:43one to three shorts a day but don't pump
  26. 0:45out hundreds of them the chances of
  27. 0:47getting shadowbanned are real here and
  28. 0:49you don't want that another mistake you
  29. 0:51might be making not letting your channel
  30. 0:54warm up you just created a new account
  31. 0:56and then you start uploading tons and
  32. 0:57tons of shorts that get no views it
  33. 0:59doesn't doesn't work that way YouTube
  34. 1:01needs time to understand your content
  35. 1:02and audience for example accounts made
  36. 1:05back in 2022 tend to get better traction
  37. 1:07than accounts that were just created
  38. 1:08today why because they've been around
  39. 1:11they've built up some trust it's a good
  40. 1:12way to make sure YouTube doesn't think
  41. 1:14you're a bot just pumping out random
  42. 1:16content so if your account is new you
  43. 1:18should warm it up by posting a few viral
  44. 1:20shorts consistently over a few weeks
  45. 1:22building momentum and letting the
  46. 1:23algorithm pick up on your content all
  47. 1:25right mistake number three do you happen
  48. 1:27to add a bunch of hashtags then stop
  49. 1:29doing this already ready look hashtags
  50. 1:30are great as long as they're popular and
  51. 1:32relevant but overloading your shorts
  52. 1:34with them can actually do more harm than
  53. 1:36good here's what YouTube has to say
  54. 1:37about hashtags it clearly tells you to
  55. 1:39avoid over tagging because it can lead
  56. 1:41to your video being removed so if you've
  57. 1:43already made shorts make sure they're
  58. 1:44not overloaded with so many hashtags try
  59. 1:47to stick to a minimum number of hashtags
  60. 1:48where it's due one in the title and a
  61. 1:50few in the description section of
  62. 1:51YouTube and here's the thing YouTube's
  63. 1:53algorithm doesn't rely on hashtags
  64. 1:55anyway it can still push your shorts to
  65. 1:56the audience without them how by looking
  66. 1:58at your shorts title and description so
  67. 2:01your main focus should be on ensuring
  68. 2:02your title and description have the
  69. 2:04popular keywords that your audience
  70. 2:06might be interested in think about what
  71. 2:07people are searching for and weave those
  72. 2:09terms into your content hashtags can
  73. 2:11help but it's the title and the idea
  74. 2:13behind the video that will really get
  75. 2:14you the views mistake number four your
  76. 2:16video idea is just bad maybe you didn't
  77. 2:19realize it but you picked a topic that's
  78. 2:20no longer popular it's underperforming
  79. 2:23or it caters to a small audience here's
  80. 2:24how you can tell if your video idea
  81. 2:26falls into any of these categories do a
  82. 2:28quick search just type your video idea
  83. 2:30into the YouTube search bar if you see
  84. 2:32low performing shorts from other
  85. 2:34creators posted a month ago with zero or
  86. 2:36just a few views that's a sign it means
  87. 2:38that topic just isn't catching on it
  88. 2:40flopped because either the topic is old
  89. 2:42now or it doesn't appeal to a wide
  90. 2:43audience that YouTube can push to but
  91. 2:45hey don't go deleting these
  92. 2:47underperforming shorts just yet Trends
  93. 2:49change over time and you never know when
  94. 2:50a trend could pick up bringing your
  95. 2:52short back to life instead you should
  96. 2:54always always do your research start by
  97. 2:56watching the shorts of other creators in
  98. 2:58your Niche see which ones are are
  99. 3:00popular and more importantly recently
  100. 3:02posted take inspiration from that and
  101. 3:04tweak it to make it your own mistake
  102. 3:05number five you're not making longer
  103. 3:07shorts now hear me out this one might
  104. 3:09surprise you in my experience a lot of
  105. 3:11the shorts that go viral and gain
  106. 3:13thousands of views are longer than 30
  107. 3:14seconds but here's the catch it can't be
  108. 3:16boring you need to make it engaging
  109. 3:18hooking your audience till the very end
  110. 3:20or they're just going to swipe away
  111. 3:22again I'd say take inspiration from
  112. 3:24other shorts that are doing well in your
  113. 3:25Niche see how they keep the audience
  114. 3:27interested for those longer durations
  115. 3:29and you'll learn lot from that it's all
  116. 3:30about studying what works and making it
  117. 3:32your own on the flip side if your
  118. 3:34audience prefers shorter content then
  119. 3:36stick to it don't force a longer video
  120. 3:38if it doesn't fit the idea here is to
  121. 3:40experiment try different lengths Styles
  122. 3:42and formats to see what gets those views
  123. 3:44you'll never know what clicks until you
  124. 3:45give it a shot and finally mistake
  125. 3:47number six you're not being patient and
  126. 3:50consistent look I used to think that if
  127. 3:52my shorts kept flopping it was probably
  128. 3:53because YouTube didn't want me on its
  129. 3:55platform but I was wrong it's super
  130. 3:57common for new YouTubers to feel
  131. 3:58discouraged when their content doesn't
  132. 4:00blow up right away but that right there
  133. 4:02that's the big mistake instead of
  134. 4:03letting those low views discourage you
  135. 4:05don't give up keep creating keep posting
  136. 4:07and most importantly have patience Rome
  137. 4:09wasn't built in a day and neither is a
  138. 4:11successful YouTube channel it takes time
  139. 4:13for the algorithm to recognize your
  140. 4:14content for people to discover your
  141. 4:16shorts and for you to find your next
  142. 4:18viral idea I'm telling you it might feel
  143. 4:19like nothing's happening at first but
  144. 4:21keep nurturing your channel and one day
  145. 4:23you'll get there you'll start seeing
  146. 4:24those views the comments the growth
  147. 4:26you've been waiting for just be patient
  148. 4:28be consistent and trust the process
